Chapter 37: Preparing as HCUs (Part 2)

Kaze's POV

"I cannot be dreaming. I… I look… this is…" I was so speechless at my HGU form as I didn't know what to say about this.

About my look, my hair got a little bit longer but was still straight and was changed to mixed colors of light-blue and purple with two light-blue crescent hair clips with stars in the middle and my eyes are changed from light purple to light blue. I was wearing a white bodysuit with a purple moon crescent with a star in the middle on the left shoulder area and a light-blue one on the right shoulder area. Not to mention there was also another one, this time in the chest area of my bodysuit. It looked completely grey, but there was a tiny tip of light-blue on the top. At the bottom, I was wearing white thigh high boots with polarized light-blue rhombus patches on my lower legs. It honestly looked like crystals to me.

I… was so speechless at my HGU form. I didn't know what to say about this. I look like a powerful HGU although I'm just a 5000-Gen. This was never expected at all however.

"Are you girls speechless?" Lunia asked us.

"Yes. This is so… I-I can't just express the words of what I'm seeing. This is so… so… cool. I can't believe this, Lunia." Blue said, looking speechless.

As for Blue's HGU form, only her eyes were changed from blue to light-blue. However, for hair, it grew all the way down to her thighs and she had two white snowflake hair pins on her hair. She was also wearing a white bodysuit with her sleeves having light-blue patches in the bicep and tricep areas. She also had white thigh boots with light-blue snowflake patches on her lower legs.

We both look surprisingly awesome. This isn't bad for us girls from the United Kingdom.

"I wish I could figure out how this happened. This honestly flattered me even though I did not expect this type of 5000-Gen form." I said.

Wait… hold on. Something tells me...

"But… wait a second… I thought we were supposed to get these HGU forms back at the lab. You know, at Dr. Lotus's lab." I said.

"Umm… to be honest, Kaze. That was a huge mistake when we mentioned that those tubes were human transformation tubes. Those tubes… were the HGU upgrade tubes." Lunia said.

"S-Say what?" Blue asked in a surprised look.

"Those were the HGU upgrade tubes. Me and Dr. Lotus thought we created that name but since we worked on creating the tubes for about a decade, we actually planned to create the HGU upgrade tubes."

"HGU upgrade tubes? So these elemental tubes give you the magic and the ability to transform into a HGU?" I asked.

"That's correct."

"S-So why didn't you just say that, Lunia?" I asked, looking a little concerned.

"I'm sorry about that. It's just… building and researching really big inventions takes a very long time to build so it might not make me remember anything."

"N-Not if you have a notebook." I said with a sweatdrop. "A decade without having to jot everything you need makes your brain filled with cobwebs."

"I'll try to remember the next time I build something, Kaze. Even though I'm not an inventor."

"This truly feels good being in this form, Lunia. I think I'm gonna be an elite archeress with this form." Blue said.

"Well, I'm glad all of these things met with your approval. Now Kaze, I know that you… broke my promise that you would never tell our world to anyone or the stones, but I'll let it go for now since you noticed that she is similar to you."

"I-I'm sorry, Lunia… I didn't want her to be bored." I said.

"Wait. You made a deal to not tell anyone about this?" Blue asked.

"Yes… I don't need a lot of people talking about our world or there's gonna be a lot of people swarming into our dimension and taking over. I want this dimension all to myself. I'm a goddess after all." Lunia said.

"Good point."

"That's true, Blue. This is also like a news trend, but think of it as a private one since this dimension is not real." I said.

"Yeah, no one is even talking about it in the United Kingdom. We may not be into Sci-Fi, but this futuristic stuff is hard to look away from. It sorta reminds me of creating these types of inventions as we move forward with our lives. Y'know, heading to the future." Blue said.

"Well, I wouldn't want to do that, but you're right."

"So, now that you ladies have your magic and your 5000-Gen forms, I shall allow you to do two test runs to see if you really wish to stick with these powers. If you want." Lunia said.

"Sure." I replied.

"Of course." Blue replied.

"Now remember, you two are novices so I'm gonna go easy on you. And when I see you girls fighting good, I'm gonna turn up the difficulty." Lunia said as she was creating another portal.

"Turn up the difficulty? So… are you saying I'm gonna fight some dummies depending on skill level?" I asked.

"That's correct. It's to help improve your fighting power just in case you are going up against stronger opponents. Just like my kids, it'll be best if you take this training seriously so that you can be well-prepared for when the stones appear in a couple of days."

"Hopefully this test run doesn't get so difficult." Blue said.

"It won't be difficult, Blue." I said. "We just gotta do our best as HGUs."

"I know that, but aside from having spirit in my powers, I really hope this test run doesn't make me tired. Of course training does require a lot of stamina in which I excel, but I'm just imagining that… a lot of enemies might appear which would scare the living heck out of me. I'm just hoping it doesn't happen."

"I-I'm being honest." Blue said, looking a little worried.

"I'm not mad at you, Blue. But it's only just a test run. It's not big baddies or anything. Believe me. Just… try your very hardest." Lunia said.

"I'll try. It's not that I fear a huge nightmare coming towards me. It's just that I don't get overwhelmed with these…"

"You'll be fine, Blue." I said, trying to put faith in her. "I want you to have the same confidence that I had back when I was in Primp Town. I always stood my ground and never backed off until my time there was up. It only took 4… or maybe 5 hard battles for me to do so. Now I have to follow through. Just follow my lead along the way."

"Kaze…"

"Alright. I got your back. Thank you." Blue said with a nod.

"It may not be easy, but we can do this. I think you can do this."

"Yeah… I can do this. I just got my HGU form so I can't resist training. I need it badly. Hopefully, along the way, we can use this time to figure out what moves and techniques we can perform. That way, we can get really prepared for this stone war."

"Seems you're finally regaining your confidence after a long period of seconds." Lunia said.

"I-I was just worried there for a second. I didn't want to chicken out."

You looked like you were about to from the beginning.

"There's no need to chicken out. You seem like a very good need for our squad anyway. Anyway, if you both are ready, please step inside the portal. I'll be in the main entrance, monitoring you both to see if you're doing alright."

"Monitoring us? But we'll be fine." I said, looking confused.

"Yeah, but sometimes, I don't want you to end up like Darius, Zack, Kris and Alexis. They all said they were fatigued from their training so now I have to monitor to see if you're not fatigued or in need of cooling down."

"Alright, understandable. It's like working out in a gym."

"I agree. It totally makes you tired real fast if you work too hard." Blue said.

"You don't have to work extremely hard. It's going to be a test run so I suggest you start slow as your opponents will go easy on you."

"Ok, but… how do I revert back to my human form?" I asked while still looking at my form.

"Oh, right. Thanks for reminding me, Kaze. You might want to save your 5000-Gen forms for later."

"Tch! Boo. Nice going, Kaze." Blue said with a pout.

"I'm sorry. I just… I wanted to see how I could change back to my human form because I've been in this form long enough." I said while looking at my HGU form.

"All you gotta do is, in your head, just say revert." Lunia said

"All right."

Revert!

I then got absorbed into a bright light. Once that happened, I looked at my body and I was still wearing the same clothes from before. It still felt good being in that HGU form. It could really come in handy just in case I fight someone really powerful.

"*sigh* It's still crazy that my vocals were deep when I transformed. That might be the last thing I would clearly remember. Other than that, it sounds like the first step of preparations have been completed." I said while looking at my body.

"Yeah. Hopefully our human bodies don't get injured in the battle because we have lots of work to do out there." Blue said.

"Again, try your best. It's only a test run. If I see you girls not in a healthy condition during your battles, I'll provide support for you. In the meantime, try testing your powers and attacks, and I'll be right back." Lunia said as she created another portal to send herself somewhere else.

Which leads me and Blue are the last ones to be in here. Ready to test out our builds.

To be honest, I'm a little nervous, but it all goes to when I first tested out dark magic and I felt really confident that time. So I should be able to feel comfortable during the test run.

"So… are you ready, Blue?" I asked her.

"Yes. Let's do it. I've been waiting to test out my bow and magic." Blue said.

And so, we both went inside the portal to reach this testing area to finally test out our builds for this test run. One day, I might have to start using puyos to fight people, but for now… I have a new way to fight. A new way that will shock the people of Primp Town in just seconds.

This might be the feeling of jealousy. For them.

Once we reached the end of the portal…

"*sigh* I'm glad we did this together." Blue said with a sigh of relief.

"Something tells me that we're gonna have to go in together the next time we enter a portal because I don't like crashing into other people that might harm their health." I said.

"You are mostly worried about "these people", huh."

"I mostly am. Or… if they are lucky, I wouldn't necessarily launch into them like a rocket."

"Yeah… maybe it is true after all."

We looked around to see that we were in a white area that looked like to me that this was some sort of testing area. And it looked really… REALLY large. Almost as if it was the size of a huge stadium.

"Why does this place look so enormous?" Blue asked as she looked around the area.

"Hmm… it does seem to be enough to fit five people in here, but… I'm not quite sure."

"Well… four or less, I guess it wouldn't be that bad for the two of us since we're together."

"Yeah. Lunia wouldn't care who comes in here for training unless we need five HGUs maximum. Wouldn't it be even crazier if most of our friends were in this area fighting alongside us in order to strengthen this army?"

"Yeah. I can see what you are saying there. But even though my two friends, Xavier and Lucas, would be a huge help since they know so much about games, it would be best if we continue to succeed our dreams moving forward because I think this stone warfare begins in a few days and we gotta get prepared. Although it's just the two of us and the other five friends that we have."

"Well hopefully we'll get this situated until the very end."

*LOUD BUZZ*

"That really scared me!" I said, after I heard a loud buzzer.

"Tell me about it!" Blue said, having the same reaction.

*THE TEST RUN WILL BEGIN SHORTLY. PLEASE HAVE YOUR WEAPONS AND/OR ABILITIES READY AT THIS TIME.*

"Alright. This is it. Hopefully…"

I then stopped myself before having a light-blue aura around me, indicating that I am now working with Lunar magic.

I am a different Kaze after all. But this is me learning the moon ability.

"...You can try to keep up. I may be a novice but I will get to the top."

"Oh… is that so, Miss Matsuzaki?" Blue asked while having a smirk on her face.

She then somehow got a bow to appear right in front of her, looking well-prepared as an archeress.

"Well my level of tenacity is going to go through the roof once I start to clear out some enemies that stand in my way. You won't be able to know how powerful I am as a mage."

"Hmm… that may be true. But I believe I still have my strong physicality in me so it's safe to say that I'm gonna be the more powerful HGU here."

"You think so? I can do a whole lot, you know."

*THE TEST RUN WILL NOW BEGIN ON MY MARK.*

*3!*

*2!*

*1!*

*START!*

Then what appeared in front of us were two dark-grey human figures with light-blue eyes that were glowing. They also had the same weapons and/or abilities as us.

They seem quite interesting to me. Even though this is my first time battling since that tight battle against Ecolotan, this is where I'm now about to prove that I'm really ready to get through a big test.

Although I'm a book lover… I still wish to safeguard myself with some crazy moves.

"Human figures? Well, I guess it will do. You two better be prepared." Blue said to them.

"That's right. You may not take it so lightly, but we aren't newbies." I added.

I then saw a human figure charge at me at a medium pace and tried to throw a punch at me, but I managed to duck at the right time. I went from behind and landed a kick in it's butt (If it has one.) with force that sent it back a few feet. And the best part about it was that my foot was glowing light-blue.

"Wow! Did my leg… just glow?" I asked while looking a little surprised at my feet.

"Yeah! A huge surprise there! But we need to keep going! The test run has just begun!" Blue said.

"Right."

I then went over to the figure that charged at me, but then I felt something small hit me as I turned around and looked down and saw there was an arrow that hit me.

I assumed it was a human figure until...

"Don't worry, Kaze. I got this covered." Blue confirmed as the other human figure shot an arrow at me in the back.

"I'll deal with that lat— ACK!" I then felt myself getting hit by that first human figure from behind that only sent me a few feet back and had me stumbling to the ground.

"You didn't need to do that, you clone!" I retorted at the first human figure.

I went back up immediately, miraculously avoiding the figure's tackle attempt.

"Not this time!" I said to the figure.

I managed to use lunar energy from my hands and formed it into a huge ball. I stepped back a few feet and waited for it to get up. But he only got up for a few seconds and decided to stare at me. It was starting to creep me out.

"Come on! Fight me!" I said to it, still having the lunar ball in my possession.

I know what's going to happen.

It decided to charge at me but this time, it got a little easier as he missed again going for my groin as I dodged out of the way while holding on to the lunar ball.

"Take this!" I shouted as I hurled my lunar ball with as much strength as possible to the point where I nearly fell down from throwing it.

*BOOM*

And after I threw the lunar ball, it launched the figure a couple of yards from where I am right now. This was just only getting started so I guess a lot of fighting wouldn't be much of an excuse.

This feels so good testing out these powers!

Blue's POV

"Was that you, Kaze?!" I asked while focusing on my target which is the figure archer.

"Yeah. I might be getting the hang of it already. And I'm not fatigued yet." Kaze said.

"Well… that may be great. But I guess I'll do better than that." I said. "C'mon, baddie. Show me what you got."

I proceeded to draw my bow just like how I did in archery classes. This is the Hunger Games we're talking about, but this is my version of it. I love to do this so much. So much that I want to become the best magic user and archeress. That is my build after all.

The human figure proceeded to use it's magic which was ice magic. It started to create little ice shards in the air and they were targeting me.

Crap! There's a ton of them.

As they were coming right towards me. I managed to step out of the way and dodged every single one of them. Sensationally.

"Wow… how did I do th…"

*SLAM*

"Gah!"

Then I was bumped very hard from behind, falling face-first on the ground, feeling unsure of who that was.

"*Groan*"

"My goodness. This damn human figure is putting up a fight." Kaze said from behind.

"He made you launch into me?!" I asked her.

"It threw me after I was slammed into the wall."

"I see what this is about. Now I'm getting serious."

"Same here."

We both got to our feet and started to continue our attacks against these baddies.

Thanks a lot, human figure from behind. Now I'm giving you a proper punishment after I'm done with your "friend".

"Nice moves, human figure! But it's not enough to take me down!" I heard Kaze say as she got a sword to appear right in front of her.

"Well we gotta be careful. This is a test run so we have to be cautious with our health."

I picked up my bow and continued the fight against the human figure that I was focused on.

I quickly drew my bow and started to shoot arrows at it but it kept dodging and blocking every single one of it. And I got surprised there as those attacks were not working.

"My attacks aren't working?" I asked, looking a little lost.

I then realized that I also have my secondary ability which was magic using so I switched from my bow to using magic.

The human figure before I thought about what I should do to create damage, fired it's arrows from above and came down towards me and a couple of them hit me from my head and my shoulders.

I thought they were supposed to make me bleed but it did not happen as I appeared to be fine.

This thing sure is a toughie. However, it's only the beginning so I must focus.

"Ok… I may be hurt… but it's gonna take a lot more than that to take me down." I said as I readied my ice magic.

I then proceeded to create energy from my cold hands and created little ice shards that might be good enough for me to use.

I've been waiting all my life for this. I wonder what I should do first.

Oh! I know what I can do first!

I then raised my right hand with the ice shards above my hand and pushed it down to release the ice shards straight towards the figure.

The ice shards connected towards my opponent and the figure took damage from them after I released them.

I then, using my energy, created an ice sword in order to have something to physically fight with this time.

The figure went back up to its feet and started using its bow again.

As it was firing arrows at me… Well... I tried blocking them with my sword but it was only hitting me on the left side of my stomach and my shoulders.

"Alright. You may be strong. But here's a load of THIS!"

*SLICE SOUND 10X* *SLICE SOUND*

Now looking determined, I sliced the human figure multiple times and gave it a huge blow to the body, damaging its body and having deep, DEEP, cuts that looked different. They looked light-blue when they were supposed to be red blood.

Not to mention, it looks shivering.

"My god! I must be role playing as "Sonic, Knight of the Wind" or something! This test run seems amazing so far!"

"You seem to be getting comfortable over there!" I heard Kaze say from behind.

"I am! Just honoring myself with the incredible attack is all!"

There's a lot more attacks to try out so maybe I should stay on top of my game.

I went over to the human figure that was in pain from my attacks and was thinking of more ways to hurt this figure.

I know I'm allowing it to heal and not trying to finish it off, but this is my secondary ability we're talking about and this is my first time learning magic. I am… well since Kaze learned magic first… that makes me the second person in the United Kingdom to have the ability to use magic.

So I've tried using ice shards, I've tried using the ice sword… What else could I do next?

Y'know… Kaze has the most fighting experience…

*BOOM*

I turned around to see that Kaze was still beating that other human figure up. She is getting really skilled at this test run so far and I can applaud her for that.

Maybe I should start… Ok I know what to do next.

I started to raise both of my hands and started thinking about something round. Something big and round.

Come on energy. I need something big. I'm something big and round. Something that will help create a ton of damage. Please respond, ice energy. Just something big, round… and something that will break like glass. Like a huge avalanche.

I've felt a huge cold aura around me as I heard some loud wind from above. I looked above to see a huge ball of energy being used. I noticed that it was the purpose of me being cold, but it didn't matter at all.

After a few seconds of usage, the huge ball was created into a huge ice ball that looked like a crystal ball.

"That… is so big!" Kaze said from behind.

"Feast your eyes, Kaze! On this!" I said as I pushed my hands down to drop the ice ball.

Oh boy… hopefully this doesn't…

*BOOM* *CRASH*

Kaze's POV

"*cough* *cough* Cold! Cold! Cold! Cold! Cold! Cold! Holy cow, it's c-c-c-c-cold!" I said while shivering in the snow that we're in.

"Haaaa! Wow! That was a big one!" Blue said as she popped right in front of my face.

"B-B-Blue."

"Huh? O-Oh… Kaze? Did I make you cold?" Blue asked, looking a little worried.

"Y-Y-Yeah… you somehow did way better than me! D-Damn it! I'm about to have the chills!"

"I have a feeling you are about to cry."

"Cry? It's not that. It's just… it's so cold. Thanks to your big ice ball."

"Oh… well it was the only thing I could think of since I didn't have any other ideas. I'm sorry if this made you shiver. This is what you call an avalanche."

"Y-Yeah… thanks for that avalanche. I didn't get a chance to knock out my target."

*POOF*

I looked behind to see that the human figure was still here.

*POOF*

As well as the snow.

It's still here.

"W-What?! I thought this would be over!" Blue said, looking shocked.

"At least you did a ton of damage." I said as I uncrossed my arms and shook them. "And I didn't even get a chance to show what I'm made of."

"Well… I already did my part. So I'll let you deal with that part." Blue said as she stood back several feet.

"But don't you want to keep fighting and learn some other attacks?" I asked.

"I wanted to fight a similar opponent so I can work on my archery and magic skills. If I were to fight an unfair matchup, I might have a hard time becoming powerful with this build."

"Ok. Understandable."

When I turned around, the human figure came really close to me like it was no big deal.

"Did you really need to do that?!" I asked the figure.

"You know, you are really annoying." I said, looking annoyed.

The human figure drew it's sword and started patting it. So I took my sword out and started rubbing it.

Are you watching this, Schezo and Alex?

I stepped back and started to swing my sword but the figure blocked it with it's own.

"Ok. Not bad. But you are gonna have to do better."

I started swinging my sword repeatedly but the figure kept blocking every attack I created, causing me to lose grip on the sword and drop it.

What?!

The figure then swung it's sword, trying to slice and dice me in all parts of my body, but I managed to dodge every last one of them.

I'm really good at awareness. I always practice it. I've watched a lot of movies where people have great maneuvers when it comes to dodging sharp things. It's also similar to being a ninja. Like Yamabuki.

Or rather… I think that was Yamabuki that led to me dodging those harmful attacks. I've seen her go crazily fast when she was dodging Rulue's attacks one night.

Alright, you've done enough.

I then was hitting the tip of my shoe, causing the tip of my shoe, causing it to glow light-blue again.

I then saw the figure swing it's sword again vertically, but then…

*CLANG*

I, which seemed to be a very, VERY bad move because it would've sliced my foot at the process, kicked it's sword up in the air with all the strength I had and it was flying to the point where I moved forward so that it wouldn't pierce my head and it landed on the floor. I thought I was going to be bleeding crazily.

I then grabbed the sword and pointed it at the human figure. With a smirk on my face.

"Hmph! What do you think? Impressive, right?" I said to the figure. "But… nah… I don't want this."

I then threw the sword distances to where I'm at.

The figure was going for my sword, but using a quick reaction, I stepped on the handle of the sword, preventing it from taking it. I dragged the sword towards my side and picked it up.

"Looks like you have nothing left. Now to take you down." I said.

*SLICE SOUND 8X*

*POW*

With a flurry of sword attacks and a lunar kick to the head, the human figure was down on the ground still alive but was wounded from my attacks.

With the human figure being wounded, I used this time to think of a finishing attack as I stopped using my sword and started to do so right away.

Finally… it's down… but what should I do to finish him?

Ok… I got it.

"Everything ok over there, Kaze?!" Blue asked me from behind.

"U-Uhh… Yes! I was just thinking about something!" I responded.

"C'mon! Perform your attack! I want to see what it's like!"

"I am! I'm just trying to think of something!"

Oh! I know!

If it works… come on lunar magic. Please respond to what I'm about to do.

I then raised my arms for a few seconds until I heard some sparkling and when I looked on the side…

"Wow… it actually responded!" I said as I was looking at my arms as I was getting light-blue crescent markings with stars all over them. "This is hard to believe that I'm getting the wishes that I want. Now then."

I, without even touching anything, played the charade game and pointed my finger to draw a crescent and a star.

After I drew both of those things, I was absorbed into a light-blue light this time. Few seconds later…

"Wow… somehow I transformed again. *sniff* *sniff* Why do I smell good? Wha…"

I looked at my outfit and everything was changed from its normal color to a true blue color this time. And not only that… the markings on my arms were glowing with blue moons circulating around them.

I did not know what happened to myself… but I look truly insane.

"Kaze… did you just… get another form?!" Blue asked while looking completely shocked.

"Yes, somehow! I didn't even think I would get this form. Perhaps it's my lunar form."

"Did you even look at your hair? It looks REALLY nice. No… A1 I should say. As well as your eyes."

"My hair and eyes?"

I grabbed my ponytail to the side and when I looked at it…

"No… freaking… way…"

It changed from purple to blue. And it was glowing too. Which was the crazy part about this form.

"Are my eyes the same?!" I asked Blue with shock.

"Indeed! But they are not glowing though. Just the hair."

I know my favorite color is purple and all… but I don't know what to say right now.

"Hey, that figure's starting to recover. You gotta act fast." Blue said as she pointed at the figure.

I looked behind to see that figure is slowly getting up after giving it a long time to recover from my powerful attacks.

"No matter… I wanted to test this out anyway. I'll see if this is the answer to this figure."

I've had a lot of crazy experiences this month! I can see why Sci-Fi is so awesome to learn about!

I've looked at the figure and it was slowly recovering from those dangerous attacks I drew to it.

It was lucky I gave it time to recover but now it's time for me to knock it out.

Ok. No more wasting time. I gave it enough recovery.

I then proceeded to charge towards the human figure and then…

*POW*

Landed a sucker punch in it's face that dropped it on the floor…

*POW*

And I, how I say… "soccer kicked" it in it's stomach that sent it launching a couple of feet.

With it being down, I immediately used lunar energy again but this time, the energy was used 5 times faster as it was formed into a lunar ball.

It's time to activate my tennis mentality.

I raised the ball up in the air as I made my sword appear again, now in my hand with grip on it.

After raising it up, the lunar ball soon became bigger and bigger… as if it was the biggest bomb in the world.

Then, after the ball stopped growing, I then thought to myself…

This is for you, mom. This is the big one.

So I held the lunar ball as if I was getting ready to serve. I threw it up in the air and then…

*SMASH*

I then smashed the lunar ball with my sword like a tennis racket…

*BOOM*

The lunar ball then crashed into the human figure and it exploded right away. I then stepped out of the way as far as I can so that I don't find myself with real bad injuries.

Yeah, that pretty sure was a big one. It seemed very deadly to me, but I'm pretty sure it comes in handy.

After the explosion just ended, I saw that the human figure was gone.

"Finally…"

I was then absorbed into a light-blue light again, but it was done by default this time. The battle was done anyway.

"Oh. I guess there was a time limit I believe. And it looks like I'm back to my normal self." I said as I was looking at my clothes.

"Wow, Kaze! I must be shocked! Your attacks were really… powerful for a moon user like yourself!"

"Thanks. I was quite impressed with myself. But I guess your attacks were more impressive from the start."

"Uhh… n-not exactly." Blue said with a sweatdrop. "I felt myself rusty from the beginning with the bow and arrow, so I thought about using magic as my last resort. But I guess there's always room for improvement the next time I come here."

"It's ok, Blue. It's only a test run. I know we were both proving ourselves to see who would be the better HGU here, but it's only to see if you can handle those powers. Or if you know how to use them."

"Yeah. I know that. It's just… I wasn't kinda satisfied with my archery skills. Maybe someday I'll have to take archery classes again. Maybe I'll have my big sister drop me off there."

"Big sister? You have a sister?" I asked, looking curious.

"Yes. Her name's Colette. She's six years older than me and she's… also like us in a way."

"Like us?"

"Meaning she likes to read books, but she likes to cook, play video games… and sleep. It's just I don't bother it that much since she loves me so much. I think she's very cool once you get to know her."

"I see. But… you don't intend to bother her so much, right?"

"She's free all the time, but when it comes to her being online, that's when she won't receive any service from me." Blue added with a sweatdrop.

"Hmm… this does relate to my relationship with mom. It's basically a huge link."

"Yeah that's true. Jordyn seems to have a warm heart towards you and me. I bet one day, it will be Colette and Jordyn making a name for themselves with the personality traits they have when they meet."

"Possibly. I think Mom only likes those who are just nice. Maybe they might have the same personality trait as her. But… I think the only way that triggers her anger is if people constantly irritate her— I'm not saying I have a feeling that Colette would be Mom's worst nightmare. It's just… Mom doesn't like to handle people with their crazy attitude towards her. All of that aside, she's more of a fun human being to get along with."

I would've had Mom try this out. Although I might not say that she's too experienced with magic here.

"Hopefully her talking to Colette would be a breeze."

"Sorry for the delay!"

We then saw the same portal that we were in before we arrived and it appeared to be Lunia.

"I saw the whole thing and I liked what I saw out there. How did you like your new magic? Did you want to make any changes?" Lunia asked.

"No no, I like my powers." Blue said. "It's just… I have to work on my archery skills because when I was out there, my attacks were rusty. The secondary powers were perfect however."

"I liked my powers too. They were totally on point." I said.

"By the way, Kaze, I was really surprised by you having another form. You know, your lunar form." Lunia said.

"I didn't think it was gonna happen, but due to my increased strength in attacks, I guess it will come in handy."

"And I researched your power and… your lunar form will only be activated for just 3 minutes, and it will recharge in 30 minutes."

"30 minutes?! That's a long time!" I asked, looking surprised.

"It sure is, but that's just how things are when it comes to working with magic. Everything can't recharge instantaneously."

"I know. It's just… I was surprised I would only get to activate it after that much time."

"What do you think about getting another form, Blue?" Lunia asked.

"Another form? I… actually don't want that." Blue said with a sweatdrop. "I kinda like my HGU form since I have a feeling I have insurmountable power in that form. But my archery skills are gonna need work. So I'm gonna ask either my parents or my big sister to take me to the archery training center."

"Technically, I tried telling her that we were only here for the test run, but she decided that she was gonna… work on her archery thing." I said.

"I see." Lunia said with a hand on her chin. "Well we have to start actual training in a few days because of the stone war going into effect, which is also a few days. So the next time you come, I really want you to start training and practicing your skills because enemies in each dimension are not gonna hold back. So if you come back here and actually start to train really hard, you'll be really prepared for what's coming towards you in each dimension."

"We'll always be prepared. You summoned the right people." I said with confidence.

"I'm kinda nervous fighting some baddies, but I'm a dream chaser." Blue replied. "There's no way we'll resist not only working for you, but helping save the world from the mastermind that is behind this chaotic event."

"But wait… I'm concerned. We now have two out of five people with two out of five elements. From our dimension, the United Kingdom. Don't we need three more people to join this team?" I asked Lunia.

"Yeah. But I'd say… wait 3 days and then find three people who can be reliable. The yellow stone comes in a week as it is confirmed."

"Three more people? Ok. That shouldn't be much of a problem." I said.

"We can work with three more people." Blue said.

I want to gather NEWER allies though. Ones who can stick by me.

Hmm… it may not be easy. But I'll try to go with that. If it doesn't work, then I'll have Xavier and Lucas be the first two and then I'll find someone else.

"Anyway, let's head back to the others. They might be worried about you." Lunia said.

"But we're fine. Why would they be worried about us?" Blue asked.

"I mean, after you got your magic and fought your opponents, they just want to see how you two are feeling right now."

"She has a point. We've been busy for a long time." I said to Blue.

"Well, yeah… that's true."

"Alright. Let's get moving now." Lunia said.

"We're back." Lunia said as we were back at the spot where our friends were still there.

"Welcome back, you two. How did it go?" Cordelia asked the both of us.

"It went great. We both managed to get our magic and fought our opponents. However, Blue said…"

"I-I-I'll take from here, Kaze." Blue said, interrupting me. "I just needed some improvement on my archery skills since they were rusty from the start. I haven't been doing archery in ages."

"Archery, huh? It sure is tough to improve on, but I guess a little more practice is a good idea." Scarlett said.

"It sure does!" Kris said. "Was it because of your accuracy that made you feel rusty?"

"Well… partially. What I was trying to do was go for both the hidden and weak spots." Blue said.

"Hidden and weak spots? You don't really need to go for those, don't you?" Scarlett asked.

"I… Did I need to attack normally?"

"Yeah. Was the figure from the test run blocking your shots?"

"Yeah… I didn't know if my attacks were going through or if they were not accurate."

"So…"

"So what are you claiming?" Darius asked. "Did you struggle when you were attacking with your bow and arrow or was your accuracy a little fuzzy?"

"B-Both. The struggles and the accuracy." Blue said, trying to admit it.

"Well why didn't you say so? We could've helped you in both of those, y'know."

"I-It's fine. I have something that will help me improve my accuracy. I always go to this training center in the United Kingdom that helps me improve my accuracy when I'm attacking with arrows."

"Training center? In the United Kingdom?"

"That's just how she prefers, Darius. If she has a way she can make up for her mistakes, then she can do it. We don't have to offer her support." Lunia said.

"Yeah, but how is she gonna improve like Umi Sonoda if she can't find her rhythm yet."

We all, except for Zack, gained a sweatdrop from what Darius has said.

"H-Hey… that was pigtaily's idea." Darius said as she pointed at Alexis.

"No it wasn't… dummy." Alexis retorted.

"Ok fine. How was your room door open one night?"

"Y-You we're peeking into my business, Darius?!"

"How could I say no to something that will be free to watch?"

"Do you see my point, mom?!" Alexis asked.

Lunia then facepalmed and said this…

"Hopefully you guys don't do these types of things in the other dimensions."

"A'ight. I'll think about it."

"Do you mean right now?" Scarlett asked.

"Nah… later." Darius replied. "Anyway, Kaze, what about your magic? You got everything settled?"

"Yeah. I got what I needed."

"Got what you needed. Cool. Anyway, I'm hungry. I haven't eaten anything all day."

"Oh yeah, I need to do a few errands." Zack said. "I gotta see if my new tools are ready and I gotta find out where the poor connection is coming from since most people have recently found out about this."

"Ok. I'll be right here if you need anything." Lunia said.

"Ok. See ya." Zack said as he took his leave.

"Man, he's… really a smart brother to have." Darius said as he couldn't believe it.

"Yeah I can't blame him. Ever since we first met, he's always been like this." Kris said.

"Unlike you two of course." Alexis said with an annoyed look.

"Says no one."

"*grumble* I can't wait to drop-kick you in your teeth."

"I have a feeling that this is deja vu." I whispered to Blue.

"Deja vu?" Blue asked.

"I have a feeling that… a friend from Primp Town was teasing me."

"A friend teasing you? Who would that be?"

"My friend, Raffina."

"Raffina? Does she always do that?"

"Only to me. She's… more like Candace in a way once you get to know her."

"I see. Was she your only friend?"

"Not just her. There were others that I befriended."

"I see… well I guess these guys are gonna be interesting to learn more about."

"Indeed. Their sense of humor when we talk to other people from other dimensions might lead to lots of entertainment."

"Fair enough. But I'm just here to do my part."

"Yeah, I know."

"Anyway, I'm hungry, y'all! Let's go get something to eat!" Darius said.

"Alright, calm down. Here's my card." Lunia said as she pulled out her card.

It looks kinda nice.

"Alright. Scar, you wanna roll with us? I know you not gonna sit back with your feet kicked up, reading a book all day."

"Tch! W-Well… I haven't eaten anything all day. I think I'll take a break from reading." Scarlett said with a little shade of blush.

"You two can go with them if you want." Lunia said to me and Blue.

"Ok… sure." I said.

"I'm getting hungry too." Blue said while looking at her belly.

"First, I have to check on my mother to see how she's doing since I haven't spoken to her since." I said as I pulled out my phone.

I went through my messages only to see that Mom was texting me 10 minutes ago.

That's on me… crud.

"You ok?" Mom replied.

"Yes. We are well. We are just roaming around the place." I texted.

Well… never mind. I'll text her while we're walking.

"Alright. I'm ready." I said.

"Ok. My stomach is growling. I need something to chow down." Darius said.

"This is what happens when you don't eat anything for a lot of hours." Lunia said with a sweatdrop.

"Well, my bad. I had things on my mind to take care of and I didn't get the chance to feed myself. What about you, mom?"

"I'll be fine. I'll get something to eat for myself later. I have other things to take care of for now."

"So what are you gonna do with Cordelia?" Scarlett asked.

"Me?" Cordelia asked, while tilting her head.

"I'll take care of that while doing those other things." Lunia said.

"But I didn't do anything wrong, did I?"

"No no, Cordelia, it's just… work that needs to be done. I'll talk about it later."

"Ok ok! Eat now, talk later! We gots to be out!" Darius said as he bolted out of the room.

"Darius! *sigh* He's so impatient." Lunia said with a facepalm.

"Well, what were you going to tell him?" Kris asked.

"I was gonna ask him to not waste my money on my card on the non-important things."

"Alright… we'll be back, mom." Alexis said.

"Stay safe now, you six." Lunia said to us six. Cordelia decides to pass.

"Hopefully I get to see a lot of cool things while we're going to… wherever Darius, if that's his name, is going." Blue whispered to me.

"Yeah. He seems to be entertaining… I think. But other than that, I haven't got to see the rest of Hyperdrive City." I whispered.

"I guess I might have to start getting used to this dimension."

"You don't have to. I never expected this in the first place, but if you don't like this dimension, you don't have to get used to it."

"No no… It's really nice. It's just… I'm not always into Sci-Fi."

"Yeah. I believe you. Once you start coming here more, then maybe you won't have to leave this place."

"That's true. Let's catch up to the others. They're leaving us behind."

"You're right. We haven't shown them our faces yet."

We both were rushing through the hall to catch up to the others so that they wouldn't go searching for us. I know I haven't talked to my HGU friends, so maybe it's the best time I can interact with them along with Blue. Hopefully our relationship grows bigger and bigger.

Or… at least Scarlett could be first to start off with since she's more like me. We'll see.

Author's Note: Oh my Jesus himself, was this really hard to write. I had to use up lots of energy on this chapter, getting stuck on most parts. The reason why I was getting stuck was because… I'm not trying to make Kaze and Blue overpowered. I was trying to make this test run a simple battle for them.

And you might be thinking why Kaze has another form when she has her HGU form. I play this game on my phone called "Random Dice: PVP Defense" and it's where you stop these monsters with dice towers to summon them on your opponent's side. I got this dice called the "Lunar Dice" which seemed pretty interesting due to the color of the crescent moon and it is really useful to other dice towers if you can handle them correctly. The Lunar dice increases the attack speed and the attack damage to your other dice towers if you can get 3, 5 or 7 of them and have them next to your other dice tower. And I figured… Why not do the same thing for Kaze. She has the ability to use lunar magic after all. This is just only in her lunar form. So yeah… that's what she'll be working with throughout the whole story. Unless there may be some changes that need to be made while progressing through the story.

And that's all I got. This was really long… and really hard to do in terms of writing a battle because what you read… I may be a novice when it comes to writing battles, but I'ma "BATTLE" it out since this story needs to have lots of battles in order to have this story make sense. So I'll try my best to do just that. In the meantime, if you guys are enjoying this story so far, make sure y'all review, favorite, or follow this story, and I'll see you in the next chapter.
