From the writer of "Nate is Done" (Yo-Kai Watch) and "It's Wiznee Land, Charlie Brown!", comes Charlie Brown is Done! Releasing… RIGHT NOW!

Hello, fanfic readers!

During my time on writing the Wiznee Land story, I wanted to do this because Charlie Brown is a character who always gets upset but soon looks on the bright side of everything.

But what if he's had enough? Enough considering his many "friends" always try to get the best out of him?

This will be similar to my other story, "Nate is Done", except Charlie Brown will evade all his friends, including Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, Franklin, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, and of course, Heather, the Little Red-Haired Girl.

Chapter One: No More

The day begins as usual, the sun rises and birds begin to chirp. More precisely, Woodstock and his feathered buddies begin to chirp, trying to wake up Snoopy.

The beagle wakes up and annoyingly growls at the birds for the sudden wake-up call.

Woodstock shows Snoopy his calendar and what the day it is today. It's the big game Charlie Brown and his team have against the rival school.

Snoopy almost forgot. So he grabs his equipment from his doghouse and runs off to the baseball field with the birds follow him.

Snoopy made it on time as he pants for air.

"Glad to see you on time, Snoopy."

The not-so-normal dog looks up at his owner, Good Ol' Charlie Brown.

"We were just warming up with some stretches. It's important that our muscles become a little flexible for the activity we're about to do."

"Charlie Brown," his best friend, Linus, calls out, "it appears the rival team is arriving, there's the bus."

Charlie Brown turns around and sees the yellow vehicle in the parking lot. "It's time. We're ready to score for the win!"

"Good luck, Charlie Brown." The round-headed kid knows that angelic voice. He turns around and sees the Little Red-Haired Girl, Heather, smiling at him. Charlie couldn't help but blush.

"Good luck to you too, Linus." The blanket-holding kid knows that second angelic voice. He turns around and sees Janice, also smiling. Linus blushes, as well.

Charlie Brown rubs the back of his head, "Uh, thank you, girls."

Linus looks at the sky, "Yeah… thanks."

The boys are so lovestruck that they accidentally bump into each other and both fall down. The two girls couldn't help but chuckle, seeing their silly antics. Snoopy, on the other hand, laughs uncontrollably at them.

"Hey, you blockheads! It's time to beat the other team!"

That not-so-angelic voice belongs to none other than Lucy. She looks impatient as she sees both Charlie and Linus being goofballs. The boys and Snoopy quickly get up and join the rest of the group.

"Sometimes, I wonder if Lucy will ever start being nice to her brother and Charlie Brown." Janice tells Heather.

"I wonder about that too. Well, at least Charlie and Linus know to always stay positive and not let everything get the best of them."

"You're right, Heather." The blonde-haired girl says as she and Heather sit with the rest of the crowd to witness the game. Next to them is Charlie's younger sister, Sally, who's there to root for his team.

"I believe in you, big brother!"

Out in the field, the team huddles for words of encouragement.

Charlie Brown puts on his baseball glove, "Alright everyone, we're gonna win this game for real! No problem whatsoever! I know this will be our game!"

"Yeah! You tell 'em, Charlie Brown!" Schroeder cheers.

"We'll wipe every baseball out of the field!" Franklin declares.

"We'll claim victory, right, sir?" Marcie asks Peppermint Patty.

"Stop calling me 'sir'!" She tells Marcie. "But yeah, this is our field and this is our game!"

"That's the spirit! Now let's get out there and score for the team!" Charlie Brown motivates his teammates.

Everyone cheers and heads to their positions as the big game begins!

The first one pitching is none other than Charlie Brown.

"Alright, Charlie Brown, make this one count." He tells himself. "And throw!"

The pitcher tosses the ball but it immediately comes right back and throws him into the air, with his shirt somehow coming off.

"Good grief."

XOXOXO

It's been three hours and the game is coming to a close. Both teams are tied with nine points each.

The last pitcher is the same one who pitched first, Charlie Brown.

"Come on, Chuck!"

"You got this, Charlie Brown!"

"You better win, you blockhead!"

"Do it for the team, Charlie!"

Charlie Brown couldn't help but smile, everyone was counting on him to win the game. "Alright, I'm gonna do this for sure!"

The captain throws the ball and…

…it comes right back! It sends Charlie Brown rolling in the air, his shirt and his shoes coming off.

"Oh no…"

The rival team is victorious! Meaning Charlie Brown has done it again, letting his team fail. All this while Snoopy had his dog bowl with him. Not to mention dark clouds are starting to appear up in the sky.

Charlie Brown just sits there, looking down that he made another of his usual actions.

His whole team approaches him with expressions of anger, disappointment, and annoyance.

"You've done it again, Charlie Brown!" Schroeder begins.

"You never make a change, do you?!" Peppermint Patty loudly questions.

"Again and again with you!" Franklin declares.

"We lost because of you! You're such a blockhead!" Lucy states.

"It's always the same when you're somehow the captain!" Marcie complains.

"Why do we even allow you to be the captain?!" Pigpen asks.

Of course, Charlie Brown would usually be fine with the complaints towards him. But this time, his teammates are really angry and yelling more harshly.

The captain tries to say something-

"Don't bother." Lucy tells him.

"Come on, guys, let's go." Peppermint Patty says to everyone else.

Now it begins to rain. Everyone leaves as Linus approaches Charlie, with an expression of his own.

"Always, Charlie Brown! You always have to make the team lose! You really can't just give us one win, can you?!"

After that, Linus walks off and joins Janice. Charlie Brown couldn't believe it, his best friend also yelled at him. Speechless and wondering what could be worse than that.

Now the Little Red-Haired Girl approaches the round-headed kid. But Heather isn't smiling, she looks… disappointed. Then she leaves Charlie Brown alone in the field.

Charlie Brown, the poor kid, couldn't believe it even more. Heather didn't even want to talk to him.

And his sister, Sally? She was nowhere to be seen.

Charlie Brown just stood there in the pitcher's field, not making any movements or sounds. Except sitting down, taking in everything that just happened.

Snoopy, witnessing the whole thing, puts his tray on the ground. The beagle was still hungry but after seeing what looks like Charlie Brown's biggest defeat yet, he couldn't just ask his owner to feed him.

He approaches Charlie Brown and sits next to him, having an umbrella on top of them.

Charlie Brown smiles at his dog, who seems to be the only friend he has right now, "Thanks, Snoopy. I know I can always count on you."

XOXOXO

Back at home, Charlie Brown lies on his bed, remembering those harsh words his friends yelled back at the baseball field.

"You've done it again, Charlie Brown!"

"You never make a change, do you?!"

"You're such a blockhead!"

"Why do we even allow you to be the captain?!"

"You really can't just give us one win, can you?!"

Charlie Brown was on the verge of crying, but that changed to-

"No more…"

...

"No more…"

...

"NO MORE!"

…anger of his own.

Charlie Brown gets up from his bed and opens his closet. "Always! Always! ALWAYS!"

The young boy pulls out his kite, "Can't fly a kite!" and throws it out the window.

"Can't play baseball!" Then he throws his baseball, his bat, and his glove.

"Can't even kick a football!" And he throws out his football.

"And my fri-" Charlie stops, refusing to finish that word, "What kind of friends are they?! They always bring me down!" He lays on his bed once more, preparing to go to sleep but right before a few more statements.

"I'm done. They don't want anything to do with me anymore, then fine! I thought I was their friend!" Charlie Brown says as closes his eyes and covers himself with his blanket.

Outside, Snoopy and Woodstock saw that their human friend threw his stuff from the window. The dog and bird start to worry for their friend, especially Snoopy.

To be continued…

How about that? Charlie Brown witnessed his biggest defeat yet.

What will happen next? Stay tuned to find out.
