Chapter-1 Meeting past demons
It's been 6 month Naruto left the leaf village for training trip with his god father Jiraya of the sanin and to say he was disappointed would be an understatement. In this 6 month Jiraya only thought him basics and made him work on Rasengan and make him harness the Kiyubi Chakra, no Ninjutsu, no check of elemental affinity, no Fuinjutsu nothing. When Naruto point this out he always said to him that Naruto first need to fix his basics and left to do his research which left Naruto frustrated even though he knew Jiraya was right and he have to strong on his basics but that didn't mean it make him any less frustrated so Naruto started to train as hard as he can to master the basics and move to the advanced staff but the main problem is he can do so much alone when someone didn't show what he is doing wrong.
When Naruto started his training trip he was ecstatic to be student of a legendary sanin and finally getting trained not ditched for Sasuke like how Kakashi had done before so he can bring back the Uchiha and fulfil his promise to Sakura. When Sasuke betrayed the village for power and go to Orochimaru Naruto became angry with the Uchiha. He understood that Uchiha need to avenge his clan but his choice of sensei greatly ticked off Naruto. In normal circumstance trained by a legendary sanin is great honour but said sanin is a S rank criminal who fled the village after his experiment on orphan was came out and after his body but Naruto was also jealous of Sasuke because he knew Orochimaru surely put the Uchiha through the ringer teaching the Uchiha many Fire and Lightning jutsu and other shinobi art and here he is stuck with Chakra Control and trying to harness Kiyubi Chakra which make his body hurt like hell how can he become strong enough to bring the Uchiha back to village and fulfil his promise not to mention face Akatsuki who are after his biju and with this thought in Mind a tried Naruto fall asleep where he is.
Soon Naruto woke up and see that he is in a room and sleeping in futon but the strange thing is that he didn't recognized the room and it caused him to Panic because he thought that he was kidnapped but soon he calm down when he saw his hand and leg are free which mean that either the Kidnapper didn't see as threat or there is something else going on.
So Naruto came out of the Futon and slide the door open in front of him was a long hallway so he started to move with tiptoed as to not make any sound. After some time of walking Naruto came to room and peaked inside it and what he saw intimated him greatly because in the hall way there are two man one is very tall man with Red hair tied into ponytail and some flame like mark is on his forehead and Jaw. He also has a Katana with him. The other one is short compared to the Red head man with Black hair and blue eyes and their Aura is heavy which intimated Naruto but he is also wondering who are these two and why they had kidnapped him.
Though his musings came to stop when he heard the Red head man said " How long are you going to hide?" to which Naruto came in front of them and asked " Who are you two?" to which the Red head man answered " I am Michikatsu Tsugikuni and this is Hakuji" to which the black haired man nodded his head.
Hearing this Naruto asked " Why you both have kidnapped me? Are you working for Akatsuki?" to which Hakuji shake his head and said " We are not related to Akatsuki" to which Naruto asked "Then why did you kidnapped me?" to which Michikatsu said " We did not kidnapped you this is your mindscape and we are here to train you and atone our sins that we did in our life before we died" to which Naruto blinked sometime and said " Yea I call it bullshit. Show me where are you fox your genjutsu will not fool me" as the brash nature of Naruto came out much to both man's amusement as they chuckled Naruto turn towards them and asked " What are you laughing at fox?" to which Michikatsu snap his fingers and the scenery change to the sewer with large gate where originally Kiyubi is in but it look like the Kiyubi is asleep much to the confusion of Naruto so he turned towards Michikatsu who said " After we meterialize here in your mindscape the fox is threaten us to protect you but I put him in an illusion based blood demon art that I acquire from another " to which Naruto look at him with wide eyes and asked " Really?" to which Michikatsu nodded and snap his finger again and scenery change back to the room before but Naruto then asked " You said you are atoning your sin what do you mean by that?" to which both of them told about their life and demon slayer crops and demons and how they were also demons which shocked Naruto but the seeing the expression in both of their face he knew it was true but he didn't care that much he only want to become strong which this two men is willing to help him and he will take all the help he is getting.
Hakuji then said " Well then I will teach you Martial arts while Michikatsu san teach you in Kenjutsu" to which Michikatsu nodded and Naruto's eye light up in delight as he thought " Yes I can finally became strong and fulfil the promise I made" to which Michikatsu frowned and said " Naruto I have to stop you there because We will train you to become strong for yourself and your love one not for any traitor" hearing this Naruto was about to scream in protest but shut up after seeing the red head man glare at him and the said red head man sighed and said " I know you want to save your friend but what if started to kill innocent what would you do?" hearing this Naruto stop dead in his track and started to think because unlike Jiraya Michikatsu brought a valid point and it made him think what would he do if Sasuke started to kill everyone. As Naruto already going through dilemma Hakuji said " There is another think Naruto you also have to stop chasing that Sakura girl because she is not right for you because if she really love you she will not abuse you like she had done and not to mention what you felt for her is merely admiration not love. You admire her because she goes from a girl bullied for the size of her for head to one of the popular girl something you fail though it's not your fault because you are not supposed to learn this automatically but someone have to teach you which your village failed."
Hearing this Naruto tear up as he was confronted with the truth that he try to avoid for so long. Seeing Naruto tear up Hakuji go towards him and place a hand on his shoulder and said " Naruto I will not say that I or Michikatsu san is best with emotion but I will say one thing that my wife had told me many year ago. ' Everyone said Man have to be strong and not cry but that is wrong because Man also have emotion, they also feel pain too' so if you want you can cry we will not judge you. You crying means you have stayed strong for a very long time" and hug Naruto who started to cry because this damn word broke the barrier he skilfully created to hide his pain and loneliness. The word he waited to hear from someone for so long so Naruto hug Hakuji back and started to cry. Beside them Michikatsu seeing this scene with sadness because it remind him of Yorichi his younger brother.
After some time Naruto calm down and broke the hug and said " Thank you Hakuji san, Michikatsu san" to which Michikatsu said " No problem. Now Naruto we will train you in every field that you are lacking to best of our ability that including your study so prepare for tor… I mean training" to which Naruto shivered and thought " Is he going to say torture oh well I guess it will worth it" and with that Naruto's training start with Hakuji demonstrating his taijutsu style and Michikatsu is looking at the scene with a thought " he is like Yorichi and awakened the mark and his body also transformed to be somewhat like Yorichi . I wonder what the pervert will do when he saw his student."
While this was going on the said pervert is in brothel drinking and enjoying the attention of the ladies that he was getting at but soon he came to realise it is best to call it a day so he made to exit the brothel with the ladies saying their good bye to Jiraya. Exiting the brothel Jiraya thought " Well I get some great research material for my book and now let's check what the brat is doing" and with that he started to walk towards the inn that they are currently staying at.
After 30 minute or so Jiraya reached their room at the inn and open the door to see the lights are off already which make him suspicious because Naruto should be still awake at this point so he stay on alert if Naruto tried to prank him because it was not the first time it happened but Naruto failed most of the time after all Jiraya is called spy master for nothing but to his surprise none came so he started to think where could Naruto be and acme to two solution 1) He is eating ramen somewhere but in this time all shops are closed except some shady bar and Naruto will not go there and 2) he trained himself to chakra exhaustion and slept outside which is a strong possibility because he had done it many times. Jiraya could left him alone but didn't want to with all the Akatsuki running around and he will not be surprised if they Kidnap Naruto and lack him up somewhere until the time where they are ready to seal the Kiyubi.
With that thought Jiraya left the inn towards the place where he left Naruto in the morning while thinking " It would be great if I know how to purge the alcohol from my system like Tsunade" . Soon he reach where Naruto is and froze what he saw. Naruto became more taller, his grow some muscles but what is shocking is that his hair turned red and a flame like pattern on his forehead. Seeing this Jiraya thought " What the hell happened here? Did Kyubi bypass the seal somehow?" and with that thought Jiraya pull up Naruto's jacket and white shirt he wearing and channel chakra on his stomach and the Seal came into view and after checking thoroughly Jiraya concluded that naruto's change is not Kiyubi's doing and thought about informing Tsunade but decided against it because eif she learn that Jiraya is using the stipend money for his research instead of using it on Naruto's growth she will send him to the hospital which he didn't want so he decide that he will make the decision later after he ask Naruto aabout the change and pick the jinchuriki up and move towards the inn while thinking " hmm the cloths are tight for him he will need new cloths and hope that he wore some deep colour not the orange god knows how much he love the colour orange"
Time Skip :-
It's been another 8 months after the incident and to Jiraya's displeasure he didn't get anything from Naruto. In this time Naruto started became quite proficient in both Taijutsu and Ken jutsu. He also change his attire from Orange to dark colour because Now he mainly wore either mesh shirt or white undershirt and blue jacket with Uzumaki clan symbol on his back and black anbu pants and black sandals.
Because of Michikatsu's influence Naruto became quite cold and speak very less which make Jiraya concerned because Naruto is quite eager person who always tried to know other. Jiraya really want to teach Naruto many thing. He knew Naruto has quite fascination for Ninjutsu which is normal because his jonin sensei was Kakashi who is famous for his usage of ninjutsu and Jiraya really think that Naruto will do good in that regard but the problem is they don't have much time for that. So he focus on Naruto's basics that the boy sorely lacked which include bring up the Chakra control to an accepted level then change his brawler style taijutsu to the toad clan taijutsu, then came Genjutsu while naruto can't create them he atleast have to know how to break them so he can have a fighting chance against Itachi though Jiraya has serious doubt if Naruto can break any of his stronger Genjutsu. Next is Kiyubi chakra Jiraya knew that every member of Akatsuki knows how to counter a jinchuriki or biju but no one can deny that even a partially realized jinchuriki is dangerous and last in this list is senjutsu which is stored for later and with this training Naruto will be strong enough to bring fulfil the prophecy and bring peace just like his student, teacher and he himself wanted but that now seemed farfetched.
With that thought in mind Jiraya tried to spy on Naruto's training but to his surprise he failed again and again so he take another route and asked Naruto to spar with him which while look like an innocent request but Jiraya want to find his answer by observing Naruto's fighting style will have to do. So he asks Naruto to spar with him to his surprise Naruto agreed though Jiraya knew Naruto knew about his intention but didn't care. In the spar Jiraya came to realise that Naruto's fighting style has changed drastically because the style Naruto used is similar to Guy's Strong fist but some time Naruto use his hand as if it a sword and with that Jiraya came to conclusion someone else have been teaching Naruto which in turn leave a bad taste in his mouth. Not only that Naruto showed a level of intelligence that was previously not possible for the boy. Not only that previously when Jiraya said some thing to Naruto he protested every time but it also don't came as well which Jiraya deduce that Naruto just complied to get him out of his hair and train on other thing that is not on training schedule so to catch Naruto's interest Jiraya called Fukasaku and Shima to help him but it also failed.
Flash Back :-
Jiraya is seen to be waiting for Naruto in the forest that is outskirts of the town they are staying and with him was the elder sages of Mt. Myoboku because Jiraya requested their help to renew Naruto's interest in Jiraya by teaching him the toad clan Kenjutsu style. As they are waiting for Naruto Shima asked " Jiraya Chan are you sure this is the best course of action ?" to which Jiraya said " Yes ma after all this is Naruto we are talking about he will not leave a chance to learn something cool to impress someone mostly that Pink haired girl I believe her name is Sakura" and started to giggle perversely much to Shima's displeasure. Fukasaku then said " putting Jiraya chan's perverseness at the side line we have to do this to make Naruto chan interested again in Jiraya so the prophecy Gamamaru sama mentioned can be fulfilled" to which Shima sighed and nod her head and together they started to wait for Naruto.
After some time Naruto is reached the clearing where Jiraya is waiting for him and as soon as he reached the clearing both Fukasaku and Shima was surprised to see Naruto is calmly walking towards them. Soon Naruto stop infront of them and asked in a polite but emotionless tone " So Jiraya San what is you want to speak with me?" to which both Fukasaku and Shima was highly pleased that Naruto is polite but frowned a little because of the lack of emotion on his voice but waited for Jiraya to answer which the said man did and said " Naruto this are Fukasaku sama and Shima Sama they are elder sages of Mt. Myoboku" to which Naruto nodded and said " Greetings Fukasaku sama Shima Sama" to which Shima replied " Hello Naruto chan You don't have to so formal towards us just call me Ma and Fukasaku Pa" to which Naruto nod his head and said " Thank you Ma but how about we go to the business because two elder sages of toad clan isn't came here to meet a rookie summoner is it" to which Fukasaku and Shima sweated because they realise Naruto had caught on the reason they present there but before they can say anything Jiraya said in his boastful tone " Well Brat you have taken towards Kenjutsu but unfortunately I am not fan of swords so I call Ma and Pa to teach you Toad clan Kenjutsu" and smark thinking naruto will jump on the opportunity but he didn't prepared for Naruto's answer which was " No" which disappoint both the elder sages but they hide it well but Jiraya didn't have that much control and he explode and shouts " Did you even thought before rejecting their offer which will make many shinobi drool" to which Pa said " It ok Jiraya Chan I understand"
After that Naruto said " I didn't have any problem with their offer but I will not learn other Kenjutsu style that is not my clans" which froze Jiraya and he asked " What do you mean?" to which Naruto said " I am practicing the Kenjutsu of the my clan whose knowledge I have gained from inherited Memories and I don't need you help in this" to which Jiraya said " why am I not a good teacher?" to which Naruto said " Jiraya San I admit you are a great shinobi but as a teacher you are not that good from the beginning of the training you always said we don't have time to waste but you waste too much time in brothel and use up the stipend that Lady Tsunade gave you to betterment of my training and when you did train it always the basic that taught in the academy or harnessing Kiyubi chakra which will cripple me in the fight and I mean cripple which in term means it was the last thing I need to rely on so no you are not a great teacher and at this point I don't trust you with anything" and promptly left that place"
Present Time :-
After that Jiraya tried everything to gain Naruto's trust but soon he understand how difficult it is to gain his trust. At this point Jiraya have no option but to inform Tsunade because he can't hold Naruto back anymore. He knew he will get a beating and this training trip will be cancelled. So with that thought in Mind he started to wrote letter to Tsunade but what he didn't know Naruto is on the doorway looking at him.
Seeing Jiraya started towrite letter Naruto thought " So this is your choice huh well I can't go back to the village till I complete my training" and with that Naruto waited until Jiraya was asleep and then he put down his own letter and left so he can gain experience and continue his training though he did that not before taking many fuinjutsu book and supply from Jiraya.
