I got to the Bloodshot Stronghold as fast as possible with no time to waste. I drove up in front of the gate. Let's see if this Bandit technical ruse fools these guys. I honked my horn and waited.

"It looks like one of ours. Let them while I try to get Hyperion on the phone," said Flanksteak on the echo

The gate opened up, and I drove through. Alrigh, the plan works; time to save Roland. I hopped out of the technical and got out my shotgun.

Then, I heard a bandit scream, "We got a vault hunter."

Stronghold turned on, Flanksteak's voice went through, "We've been trick kill the little bitch."

A bunch of bandits and psychos came out, coming toward me. I did what I did blast and started to blast them. I set some fire with my shotgun, and one of the psychos tried to get close to me when I reloaded my new upgrade fried him. As I approached the Bloodshot stronghold's main entrance, Lilith called me.

"Hey Gaige are you in the stronghold?"

"Yeah, I'm about get inside."

A marauder threw a grenade. I drove over to the grove and threw my own grenade at him, and took him out.

"Good call me back once you get inside." Lilith hung up

Firing my last buckshot into a bandit, I reached the entrance, and there was a lever to it. Pulling the gate goes down, then a large nomad with a Tediore shotgun and shield with three midget psycho strapped on it. What the fuck was wrong with this planet.

"Bad Maw, don't let the Vault hunter in," said Flanksteak on the speaker

I reloaded my shotgun and fired off a shot, killing one of the midgets. Bad Maw then shot back with corrosive shells, causing my shield to go down. I'm going to need Deathtrap for this. I brought Deathtrap onto the battlefield, and he used his new upgrade to spin around, knocking the midget shield out of the bandit's hand and into an explosive barrel, exploding them into a fiery mess.

The bandit kicked Deathtrap and shot at Deathtrap. I threw a grenade and unloaded an entire clip into Bad Maw, killing him. The gate opened, and it was time to get into the stronghold. Deathtrap and I ran into the stronghold.

Running inside, I saw a bloody painting of Marcus on the world, and next to it was writing saying, "Marcus the gun bringer." then, on the ground was a bandit assault rifle. I grabbed it, and I called up Lilith.

"Hey, Lilith, I'm in the stronghold."

"Good, I know you can handle yourself, but if anything happens to Roland…don't let anything happen."

"I won't."

She hung up. Saving Roland would be helpful for the Raider and Lilith's sake. Deathtrap and I made our through the first part of the stronghold with bandits and marauders already there and started to shoot out us. Deathtrap fired a laser into a couple of marauders while gunning down the bandits with the assault rifle. Man, this gun got some kickback.

After bandits and marauders dead, Deahtrap digitizes. I looked at my Echo inventory and saw no room to store my new gun. I quickly took crappy guns to make some room for the assault rifle and took out a SMG. The further I went, the more bandits I ran into, and they weren't backing down.

One bruiser got a jump on me, punching me in the back. I returned the favor by punching him in the stomach with my robotic arm, and it electrified his inside. After fighting a couple more of the bloodshot gang, I finally reached to vendors to heal myself, get ammo, and get a breather.

Angel came to my head, "Gaige, I see you're in Bloodshot stronghold?"

"Yeah I'm in. Do you have any idea where Roland could be at?"

"I can try...he's in a cell at the end of the stronghold."

"Thanks."

"You should expect a lot more heavy resistance. Be careful."

I put a fresh clip into my SMG, "I'll be careful, Ange."

"Ange?"

"It's a nickname. Do you like it?"

"I'll tell you about it later."

Alright, enough talk back to rescuing. I made my way through the stronghold, and a more bloodshot gang came at me. I brought out Deathtrap to help me out as I reached a wall that had many holes that led to another area and a massive pool of water. Psychos ran out from the holes, and Deathtrap put holes through them with his laser eye. Bandits and bruisers came out, and one of them had a Vladof rocket launcher.

Luckily, Deathtrap came up to brusier and slashed him, causing him to shoot a rocket at his friends. I switched to my assault rifle and shot up the bruisers while Deathtrap took down the rest of the bandits. The fight was over for now, and I spotted a red chest on top of what seemed like a watchtower.

I climbed up and opened the chest to see two sniper rifles: a Maliwan shock sniper rifle and a Valdof sniper rifle. I'm so getting the Mailwan sniper rifle. It was good to go through the hole-ridden wall; I saw a spiral leading up to the top, and in the center was a whirlpool that looked like if you went in, you'd never go out.

Then Handsome Jack came into my echo, "Look at all those murders, Bloodshots. Don't you think Pandora would be better without them?"

"Yeah, but you are about as crazy as them, and you would be worse then them by a bit."

"I'm not crazy I just want to clean up this planet and if had to kill you and your crimson bandits. I'll be happy too."

Then Bloodshots came out from the top to the bottom, making it a literal uphill battle. Sniping from the far was a better option while I waited for Deathtrap to be ready for the battle again. I was sniping a barrel of electricity to a bunch of psychos and causing a large electricity explosion, shocking them.

Deathtrap was ready to be used after I sniped a marauder in the head. I undigitzes Deathtrap, and we make our way to the top, killing the Bloodshots that stand in our way.

"Alright, guys I'm gonna try to make 5 million with Hyperion, and that vault hunter better be dead or we'll lose our pay day," said Flanksteak on the echo

Then Lilith called me, "Hyperion, they are either going to make a deal with the Bloodshots or take him anyway. You need to hurry."

"Going as fast I can, Lilith." I shot a badass nomad with my assault rifle

I got up to the top, and Deathtrap digitized. I saw cells up ahead. It was alright to get Roland. I ran and shot my way to the cell area, as Bloodshots were still trying to stop me.

"God dammit, Hyperion I didn't kidnapped the most wanted person on this planet and half my guy get killed to ignore me. How about 50 thousand dollars."

I would say this guy was pathetic, but I don't think it's the right word for him. I got to the cell area and spotted the only person alive in the cell. Roland was at the far end of the cell area and didn't seem to be guarded. I came up to the cell, and Roland was sitting on the bed. He looked at me.

"Ah, great to finally meet you vault hunter. Hell of a job fighting through those Bloodshots."

I was going to say something, but at the back of the wall, Roland exploded, and Hyperion loader bot came through into the cell.

"Excuse me, it only takes a second."

Roland tackles the loader and disables it by pulling out its energy core. He tosses the core at another GUN loader, destroying it in the resulting explosion. A BUL loader then charges through the opening and rams into Roland, sending him flying backward into the cell bars. As the BUL loader steps forward, Roland rolls over with an assault rifle from one of the GUN loaders and takes out the robot.

"That was cool and all, but I think we should get out of you before something else show up Roland."

"I agree let me just…"

Then a large blue Hyperion constructor came through used a tractor beam to grabbed Roland by his limbs and flew off.

"Vault hunter, stop this thing."

Whelp things were about to get out of hand.
