A few hours later, Roland and I were back at Sanctuary. Everyone was happy to see Roland alive, especially Lilith, who wanted to talk to Roland alone. Leaving me to do nothing at the moment that, however, changed when I went to Marcus to get some ammo.

"Ah Vault hunter, just the girl I need for this particular job," said Marcus

"What's that?"

"You see, someone has stolen a few of my things from my delivery, and it's really important to me that the bag gets back to me."

"What are they?"

"That you don't have to know. I track their last location at the Dust in some trailer park, go there, get my stuff and come back. Don't look inside the bag."

"And what do I get out of this job?"

"Money and maybe this grenade will spawn 6 other grenades if you get back here quickly."

I shrugged and accepted the job.; I'm sure Roland doesn't mind if I take a job that would hopefully be quick. Hopping into the fast travel and selecting the Dust. In a few seconds, I was gone from Sanctuary and was at Ellie's garage. Ellie was working on a Technical.

"Hey Ellie." I greeted.

"VH what are you doing here? Did you rescue Roland from those Bloodshots?"

"Yeah, a while ago. I'm just here to find a thief that's in the Dust at some trailer park."

Ellie made a devilish grin; "That's where the Hodunks clan live."

"The one of the clans that has a blood feud with an Irish one?"

"Yep, and I think it's time to stir some shit up in their blood feud."

"How so?"

"The way I look at things. We kill two birds with one massive explosion."

"I'm listening."

"You dress as one of Zaford's clan members and cause some havoc while looking for the thief. Once you find what you were looking for, get out."

"Right, and how do I look like a Zafords clan member?"

"I got a Quick Change around the back, and you find an outfit that's something green and Irish."

I went around the back to Quick Change and hopped into the machine. It had several outfits and color schemes for me. I saw a hat with a four-leaf clover, I picked it, then I looked at the color scheme and I selected a green, yellow, and white color scheme.

I got out of the Quick Change and showed Ellie what I got on.

"You definitely look Irish and the Hodunks will fall for it."

"Cool. I got to ask why Hodunks and Zafords don't like each other and your family?"

"I won't go into full details. But the blood feud started because of liquor and racing. My mom didn't want to give me up to be a future bride."

"The last part sounds terrible."

Time to get to work. I went to catch-a-ride, and I got myself a bandit technical. Before I left, Ellie threw a bag into the back of the technical.

"You're going to have fun with those explosives, and I put the location of the Hodunks clan on your echo. Have a good time blowing shit up."

I drove off to the Hodunks clan. I didn't think this job could get more exciting.

I approached the front of The Hodunks clan and grabbed the explosive from the back. They were C4, which had some bottles of whiskey attached to them. I placed the C4 on the gate of the clan, set them to explode in 30 seconds and I drove back a few feet.

Then the C4 exploded, and it was large enough I think someone in space could see it. I drove in when the smoke was clear and man, it was really a trailer park. I got out of the vehicle and got out my shotgun. A few Hodunks clan members were either confused or angry.

I blasted them before they could get a chance to get their guns out. I need to find the thief; it must be one who had a large bag. Then more Hodunks clan members came out to fight me. I had to run and gun through them. Then Angel called me when I threw a grenade.

"Gaige, what are you doing?"

"Doing a job. Hey, can you help me out for just a second?"

"That would be?"

"Find a guy who stole a bunch of things from Marcus and have them in a bag."

"Sure, give me a second…Okay, luckily one of them stole an Echo device, and it's near a racetrack"

"Thanks Angel."

"Your welcome Gaige."

I went to the way Angel told me; I noticed the racetrack above, and I found the thief. He was a badass with blue overalls, looked like a horse kicked him in the face, and he had a large backpack that had Marcu's face on it.

"Time die you fucking Zafords," said the thief

"No, you'll die, you hick," I said with the worst Irish accent

He took out a Torgue rocket launcher and shot a rocket at me. I moved out of the way and shot back at him, getting a hit on his leg. It had no effect on him, and he shot another rocket at me; I nearly avoided it. I shot him in the face and caused him to stumble back.

Then I threw a grenade at his feet, and it exploded at his feet. He was still standing and was about to shoot another rocket at me. I was quick on the trigger and shot him in the chest. The thief finally dropped dead.

I grabbed the backpack. I took a C4 out of it, then threw it at the dead thief's body and got out of Hodunks Clan base with a few of them shooting at me. Hopping back into my vehicle, I drove like hell back to Ellie's garage. Making it back and I got out of the technical.

Ellie approached me, "Man, I saw those explosions even from here and they were awesome."

"Yeah, but there's one more."

Then the third C4 exploded, and it was a much bigger explosion, even making a mushroom cloud.

"Gaige, you are one woman wrecking machine."

"Well, thank you. I better get whatever in this bag back to Marcus."

"Oh, before I get this pistol for giving the Hodunks hell. It shoots electrical explosives." Ellie handed me a blue and silver Torgue pistol.

I like the sound of that. A new pistol to my arsenal and making this job worth it. Now it is time to get my reward.

I arrived back at Sanctuary and gave the bag to Marcus at his shop.

"Thank you, Gaige, and you didn't look in the bag?"

"No, I didn't."

"Good, because this is private stuff in this bag, you know."

"Um, alright."

"For reward, some cash and a Maliwan grenade that shoots fire and explodes."

"What about that other grenade you told me about?"

"I sold it while you were gone. Sorry not sorry."

I rolled my eyes, taking the money and the grenade. I'm sure by now Lilith and Roland have finished their conversation and want to talk to me. I hope it is something to take down Handsome Jack once and for all.
