Episode 6: So Many Questions, But No One To Answer Them...

Ever since her time in Lotus' Healing Chamber, Usagi began having flashes of memories through her dreams.

Every week, whenever the day came when the Sentients attacked, Garuda would give Usagi a memory of their time together.

Each one was unique in every aspect. How she felt within the dream, where the dream took place, who she was with... it was like what she knew she was... all of it had been a lie.

She wasn't some innocent Princess who died in the arms of her lover, like she had seen before, she was a battle hardened soldier of her mother's.

In one of the dreams, she felt a pain like no other, not even the pain she felt before going into the healing chamber could come close.

She was within Garuda, in the Throne Room of the Silver Millenium. She and the other Warframes, most likely with everyone within them.

She remembered a mixed feeling with her, of fear, anger, frustration and defeat.

Next to her, Ember, Rei, pointed her head towards the Queen, and yelled through the comms.

(Rei)(Ember) My Queen, we CANNOT continue this War with those that rebelled! We are talking about a full scale war where they outnumber us, a THOUSAND to ONE. They have stolen remnants of Sentient technology, that we aren't even sure that our Warframes can withstand.

Next to shout was Michiru, as Octavia.

(Michiru)(Octavia) I agree with Ember. We cannot fight them head on with what little resources we have left. If we were to descend upon the Earth, they would surely defeat us and we would be killed.

A pair of Warframes, each with different, but unfamiliar looks to Usagi, looked between the Warframes and the Queen. But even though with their faceless helmets, Usagi felt a hostility coming from them.

But Usagi noticed another thing. The Queen looked... different. The Queen had a different face than what she remembered. The Queen had the same light skin, but one arm seemed unnaturally longer than the other.

That wasn't even the oddest feature. Her skin was like a silky blue marble. Her eyes, they had no irises, they were a pair of dim glowing orbs.

Usagi was snapped back to reality when the Queen was staring at her to address her.

(Queen Serenity) Squadron Leader! Princess Serenity! Are you really going to allow your squad to openly defy MY orders!?

(Usagi)(Garuda) No Ma'am. But I do believe that if we just walk in through their front door, we'll surely be ambushed. As for our weapons, ever since we ran out of ammunition, it's been difficult to openly attack the Earth. Without at least a proper arsenal-

(Queen Serenity) ENOUGH! I have heard enough from your Squadron and from you, daughter of mine! You will descend upon the Earth tomorrow. There, you will carry out an extermination mission. You will kill as many of the enemy before... well...

(Usagi)(Garuda) Before what?

(Queen Serenity) Before they find you, overrun your ranks and eventually... kill you, of course.

There was an uproar between everyone. Shouts about cruelty and unfairness. Cries for tribute for their hard work instead of an execution.

(Queen Serenity) Silence! ALL OF YOU!

The two soldier raised polearms with golden blades on one side, and pointed them at the group.

(Queen Serenity) After all I did to protect all of you! After raising all of you to become the greatest Warriors in the Origin System! I did everything for you, and now you throw it in my face like it's nothing!? Leave me, ALL of yo-

There was an explosion from outside, the vibrations rubling throughout the chamber.

(Queen Serenity) You, what was that!?

Queen Serenity barked at her guard, who scrambled to listen into the radio transmission.

(Guard) We're being attacked! Enemy Railjacks are on us and dropping Tenno!

The Queen Grunted and screamed for everyone to go and defend the Silver Millenium with the other Squadrons. Ironic considering how just a few moments ago, she was talking about their descent upon the Earth for their execution.

The Silver Millenium, under normal circumstances, would have been easily able to defend itself with planetary plasma cannons, but due to the shortages in energy production and other items, they were rendered useless...

The girls hadn't even left the room before the glass above them, shattered, into a million, razor sharp fragments.

Three Warframes descended upon the throne. Two black and one white.

Two of them went for the Guards, decapitating them and forcing the people from their Warframes, where the two Warframes held them at gun point.

The third, went straight up to the Queen, and without hesitation, slit her throat, freezing a look of surprise as her dark red blood poured from her exposed throat.

Everyone was frozen with shock. But not the three.

The two that held weapons at the two guards knocked them out and carried them.

The one in white saw that there were others in their presence.

(?) Hello Princess Serenity.

The voice, through her comms, was so familiar... It sounded like someone she knew...

The Warframe that greeted her was a famous one. His Warframe was known as, Excalibur. He was known for his Exalted Blade. A sword that he could freely summon and cut down his foes, sentient, or Warframe.

He bowed his while helmet towards them, who were still in shock.

(Usagi) W-Why...?

(?) I did it for you, Princess.

(Rei)(Ember) HOW DARE YOU KILL OUR QUEEN! I WILL BURN YOU TO ASHES AND THROW THEM INTO THE VOID!

(?) Hmm. I expected as much.

(?) But you all have to understand. We are not your enemy. The Empire is.

(?) They are no longer like us humans. They have become greedy with their power and prestige. They don't care about us. They think that we are just livestock and weapons. To be used to the fullest extent and thrown away, like trash.

(?) Now please, come with us peacefully. You have, no weapons to fight us with.

The two black Warframes returned next to the white one, the guards hung over their shoulders.

Still. None of the girls moved.

(?) And if you won't come willingly...

The Excalibur materialized its exalted blade, a sword, sharper than a katana, with a blade that was surrounded by energy.

(?) I will do what must be done to show you the light, and free you from this existence.

The guards slowly, and cautiously, walked towards everyone, and placed small devices that took away their energy, making them completely harmless.

But when the guards got to Usagi to place the device, she dodged the hands that were about to place the device and slashed at the guards, each of whom narrowly avoided their helmets being torn to shreds.

Usagi lunged at the Excalibur and he blocked her with it's exalted blade.

(?) WHY!? Why do you still fight!? We are here to help you!- Save you from this miserable existence!

(Usagi) Because! You killed our Queen! Destroyed our home!

(Usagi) You are even taking us prisoner!

(?) Lies! Do you have any idea how many home WORLDS the Orokin has destroyed, out of boredom? Envy? Desire? Greed? THEY are the devils, not us! Their empire is falling before us and we don't have to suffer for them anymore! WE are free to be who we want! DO what we want! Doesn't that mean ANYTHING TO YOU!?

(Usagi) Just who do you think you are!?

(?) I am former Prince of the Golden Kingdom, the oldest sector of the Orokin Empire, Prince Endymion! But now, I am the leader of the rebellion against the Orokin and protector of humans and fellow Tenno of the Origin System!

The two struck blades, and the dream ended, with the last thing Usagi hearing is the sound of Garuda's Talon's colliding with Excalibur's Exalted Blade. But those things didn't matter to her. All she could hear in her head ehen she woke up, was the sound of Mamoru declaring his title to her, as her enemy...

This threw Usagi into loops of emotions.

She thought of herself as an actress, being able to hide how she felt from the Amazons.

They've only been allowed to live their lives for a few years now. They had no business having to join yet another conflict with the unknown.

They were so young, and lived with such a bright emotions... she didn't want to be responsible for them losing that light... that hope they held in their hearts.

If she allowed them to learn of what she had discovered... she wouldn't know how to forgive herself.

But, with that vision, they completely stopped. She would go to sleep and no new visions would come to her.

But thankfully, she now had a slight grasp of her former life, rid of the lie that had been inplanted upon her and the others.

What she had gathered so far was that:

1: She was not the daughter of the Queen, only adopted and to be used as the Queen's personal sword and Shield, a tool.

2: Just like the Sailor Guardians, her and her friends defended the Silver Millenium, but not through mystical powers of the Universe, but through a mysterious power, only known throughout the Orokin Empire, as "The Void"

3: The only beings found to have powers drawn from the Void were children. These children were normal humans before, but after an incident, only known to few, as the Zarimen Ten-Zero Incident, these children were found to have powers given to them by a supposed Void Entity.

4: The Orokin weren't normal Humans, they were humans that were extremely knowledgeable with everything in the Solar System, researching and discovering everything that could be found and researched within the Solar System.

5:After the Orokin had discovered everything about the Solar System, they created the Sentients, a mix of the organic and mechanical, to colonize the Tau Star System.

6:After the Sentients hadn't returned, the Orokin then created a Colony Ship, dubbed, the Zarimen Ten-Zero, to use Void Technology, to use the Void itself, as a Wormhole to instantly jump from the Solar System, to the Tau Star System and prepare it for Orokin Inhabitation. When the Zarimen Ten-Zero jumped into the Void, there was a malfunction, and the ship was lost for many centuries before it reappeared into the Solar System, near Pluo's Orbit, where the children were recovered, since they were the only survivors. All of the adults were reported to have gone insane from the Void's influence.

7: When the Sentients returned, after massing their forces for a few millennia, they wanted to destroy the Orokin, for sending them on a suicide mission to the unknown Tau Star System. What's worse, is that Advanced Orokin defense weapons had no effect on the Sentients, so the Orokin had to create a new weapon, Warframes.

8: In an attempt to

9: The Orokin held heavy influence over the Solar System through their converted two human factions. The Corpus, a modified human faction that used highly advanced technology to defend themselves and the Orokin. And the other, The Grineer, a faction that, at the time, was a race filled with cloned soldiers, nearly identical in every way, with very little genetic imperfection. The Grineer used more existing technology but relied on their high numbers to defend themselves and the Orokin. And below these two, were regular, average, humans. Humans were not important beings to the Orokin. They were treated like servants to the Orokin. They were peasants, workers, test subjects, but never, were they even remotely considered equals, to the Orokin. Even hinting at the idea that they were similar, was an insult to the Orokin.

10: The Orokin had used a potent disease, simply known, as the Infestation, to create a human/Infestation hybrid Soldier to fight the Sentients. Most hosts did not survive, and those that did became uncontrollable beings that were extremely dangerous. These subjects were hostile to every living thing. The Orokin tried to control them using ever means necessary. They drugged them with the most potent drugs that the Orokin could create to subdue them into obedience. They tortured them with the most inhumane practices researched. They used researched psychological to destroy their minds and force them to obey. But nothing worked. They still lashed out at the Orokin, no matter what they threw at them. These beings were later known as, the Warframes.

11: But the Orokin had the Children of the Zarimen Ten-Zero incident, with their Void powers, interact with the Warframes, thinking of it as another failure. But no, the Warframes, after interacting with the children, were tamed, obedient. The children had shown that, they themselves could tame the Warframes, and channel the abilities they possessed. These Children, were then called, "The Tenno". Now what did the Orokin do with this incredible discovery? They sent the children, within the Warframes to go out, and fight the Sentients, alone, with only each other for support. The fighting lasted many years before the conflict ended. The Orokin were safe, and the Sentients retreated back to the Tau Star System, to recover their diminished numbers. This conflict was known for thousands of years and was called, "The Old War".

12: Unfortunately, there was no parties or celebrating the win against the Sentients. The Orokin, fearing their creation, began to try and exterminate them using the Corpus and Grineer to eradicate them. But to no avail the children and the Warframes persisted and defended themselves from the Orokin. But as time went on, they began to rebel, and eventually, a revolution was born. This time, the Tenno slowly, but surely, ate at the Orokin's numbers until there was only a few left.

13:After figuring out that there were only a few of them left, the remaining Orokin unleashed their deadliest creation. The same creation that created the first Warframes, the Infestation.

14: The plan was for the infestation to infect and kill the Tenno before they could get to the remaining Orokin. But the plan backfired, and the Orokin Empire crumbled away to nothingness, allowing the two factions and the Infestation to run wild among the Solar System. And at the end of the day, the Tenno were left to clean up the Solar System, fighting the two factions and defending the remaining human race.

Many more millenia later, after another event known as the New War, where the Sentinets once again, tried to lay waste to the Solar System, ended with the Tenno standing victorious, the fighting ended. The Grineer and the Corpus were exterminated into extinction and the Tenno laid down everything they fought with, to rest, within a tomb on the Moon, which was called "Lua" at the time, until they were needed once again. Afterwards, the last of the Tenno went down to Earth. Over time, the Orokin, the Grineer, the Corpus, the Sentients and even the Tenno themselves were forgotten. Nowadays, evidence of their existence, found thousands of years later, are told to be the works depicting "aliens" or "Gods and Goddesses".

It wasn't all at once, but learning everything from her past life wasn't "Eye-Opening" or even "A Fresh Breath of Air". It was World Shattering to her.

Everything Usagi was raised as a Sailor Guardian to know, was a lie. Everything, from the Silver Millenium, to even her own mother... was a complete lie. She wasn't a Princess from the Moon. She was a product of a Fallen Empire that was turned into a weapon.

She had never learned the power of Love and Justice... it was the power of the Void. A power, which she still had no bearing over. What was the Void? A place? A being? A state of matter? She didn't know.

It was a month later, she was still reeling it in when she got to the Base on the Moon, where the Lotus would tell them where to go. It was almost routine now. The Lotus would call her and the others, The Lotus would send them to another planet, they would fight the Sentients, they would win, they would go back to the Moon, leave the Warframes, go home. That was it. Today was no different.

Usagi got the buzz on her phone and it was the Lotus, communicating to her through her phone. Good thing it was her day off from work...

She answered the phone.

(Usagi) On my way.

(The Lotus) Understood.

Usagi parked her car and went through the portal, like she normally did.

She transferred into Garuda with a greeting and went to meet the others.

The others were there already, waiting.

(Haruka) Hey Usagi.

(Michiru) Good to see you Usagi.

(Hotaru) Hello Usagi.

(Setsuna) Good afternoon Usagi.

(Usagi) No Rei or Minako? As per usual?

(Setsuna) It would seem so. What a pity.

(Usagi) Hey everyone. So, what planet are they attacking this time?

(Haruka) I dunno, still waiting on the Lotus to finish her calculations.

(Setsuna) It's odd though. She's usually done by the time we get here.

(Usagi) Should we check on her?

Suddenly, The Lotus was on their comms, sounding panicked.

(The Lotus) Tenno! Is everyone here!?

(Usagi) Yeah, we're all here. Just not Minako and Rei. Is everything alright, you sound worried?

(The Lotus) Where are they- There's no time, I need all of you to go back to Earth!

(Usagi) Huh!? Why?

(The Lotus) Because the next target of the Sentient Fleet, IS Earth!

There was an audible pause as everyone instinctively ran for the portal, but as if it were a bad comedy, it closed before anyone could use it.

(Setsuna) BUT HOW, IT SHOULD STILL BE UP!

(The Lotus) There's no time, get to the other side of the base, there's a dock there that should have some Archwings and a Railjack that will help you get to Earth Quickly! GO!

Everyone ran full speed down a corridor that was brand new, to all of them.

At the end of the corridor, which was a few MILES long, there was a door that was locked shut. Everyone deperately tried to open it, but to no avail.

The door only opened after the Lotus hacked the ancient code that had been put to make sure of no grave robbers.

Inside, was a ruin of an enormous landing dock that seemed to have been abandoned for centuries. In the middle of the enormous space, was an odd looking vessel.

But nobody cared about that now.

The group found their way inside through mechanical doors tha opened for the Warframes, and shut behind them.

Once inside of the vessel, the doors locked shut. And the vessel powered itself to life, turning on lights, activating weapons systems and activating user controls.

The interior of the vessel was then oxygenated.

In the middle area of the ship, was a circular door, that opened to the outside

Surrounding the circular door, on the walls, were what looked like mechanical wings, along with them, oversized weapons that foretold their extreme firepower.

Michiru and the others ran to what seemed like the front of the ship, where the part of the floor that faced the window overlooking the outside, raised a small part. But other than that, there were no control panels, and there wasn't anywhere to sit.

(Michiru) Lotus! Where are the controls!? How do we pilot this thing!?

Usagi remembered from one of her visions, she was inside of one of these things. SHe watched as someone else piloted the large ship with ease and as another Tenno flew outside of the ship using what she believed were the mechanical wings in the ship, known as Archwings and Archweapons.

Usagi moved around the others and went up to the window. There, she could see the controls, flat against the floor.

(Haruka) Usagi? What the hell are you doing?

(Usagi) I... think I might know how to get this thing moving.

(Hotaru) Are you sure!?

(Usagi) Yeah...

Usagi put both feet onto the controls and suddenly, all of the controls unfolded themselves from their folded crevice.

Usagi had her feet on the controls and arms on two handles. But with her move to regain balance, she unintentionally moved the ship to the side, running it into the side of the Landing Dock.

Everyone got knocked over when the impact rumbled the ship.

Quickly, everyone got up.

(Setsuna) Are you sure you can operate this thing without killing us Usagi!?

(Usagi) Give me a damn second! It's not like I'm driving a car ya know!

Correcting herself, Usagi remembered how the other Tenno was moving the Ship and tried copying him.

She slowly pushed the ship forward and it moved as such. But the door was shut tight.

(Usagi) Hey Lotus? Could you open the door?

(The Lotus) I've tried, but I can't! The Door has been sealed for thousands of years. You'll have to force it open with the Railjack's weapons systems.

Usagi remembered something the other Tenno did and smiled with a mischievous grin.

(Haruka) I don't like that look.

(Hotaru) Usagi...? What are you-

(Usagi) Hold onto something everyone!

Usagi felt for a button and smashed it with her finger.

Simultaneously, dozens of rockets flew out from the ship and exploded upon impact when hitting the door.

After the dust had settled, the door was almost entirely gone.

After seeing light coming from the door, Usagi pushed her arms and legs forward, shooting the Railjack into open space.

Everyone celebrated, but not for long.

Everyone looked out of the window, to see the Sentient drop ships already on their way to make Landfall upon Earth, their estimated destination, Sendai, Miyagi, Japan.

The dropships were nearing the planet's surface, preparing to travel through thick, dark clouds, full of heavy rains, terrifying winds and deadly lightning strikes.

(Usagi) Lets GO!

The Ship lurched forward, forcing everyone off balance, but steadied as the ship gained speed.

For what felt like hours, the ship managed to reach Earth's atmosphere in only 20 minutes, catching up to the Sentients, as they pierced the atmosphere and made landfall, only landing a few miles away from the coast of Sendai, where people were evacuating inland to shelters. Those clouds, were not ordinary storm clouds, it was an incoming typhoon.

Leveling out in the atmosphere, the girls all dove out of the ship, holding down their fear until later.

As they fell, freefalling into the Earth, Archwings, vehicles of the old Tenno days, shot out of the rear of the ship and attached themselves to the backs of each Warframe.

There were three different kinds.

Usagi and Setsuna, wore the deadliest pair of wings to be worn by Warframes, Elytron. These wings of war were crafted to have the same destructive power as a Dreadnought Class Warship.

They had the ability to shoot out a volley of seeking missiles to hit multiple targets at once, or on the other end, send one Energy-powered Warhead, to wipe out an entire squadron at once.

Michiru and Haruka chose a more tactical pair of wings. They wore wings that were as black as a moonless night, Itzal.

These wings weren't as destructive as Elytron, but they were more tactical in combat.

Itzal can deploy a small field to hide themselves and their allies, grapple nearby enemies, drawing them near enough to cut with an arch-melee weapon. They can summon their own small group of drones to assist them in battle.

Hotaru, was chosen to be the supporter of the group. She was given a pair of pearl white wings, known as Amesha. These wings look like they were ripped off of an angel and built for a Warframe.

These wings take away all destructive power, and replace it with four abilities suited for support in a tough battle.

Nothing the enemy can through at Amesha will ever truly take it down, as it can heal itself, her allies and even boost their fire power.

Each one was equipped with the same gun and Arch-Melee Weapon, since the alert was such short notice and there was no time to prepare for an assault on Earth.

For each of the Archwings, they were equipped with a devastating machine gun, called Mausolon. A heavy machine gun that used the life essence of dead foes to charge a secondary fire, that fire a charged shot, similar to a railgun, that did extreme damage to whatever was unfortunate to be in the way.

As for the melee, everyone was given the Veritux, a large, heavy sword whose edge was of active plasma, making for an extremely deadly and precise cut.

The girls descended from orbit into the clouds. As they maneuvered the skies with the Archwings, they avoided lighting strikes and heavy winds threatened to throw them off course.

As they exited the clouds and were not hovering over the water, they stood right in the path of the Sentients.

But the Sentients were not fools. They too were hovering, near the Orphixes, unmoving, even as the rain pelted their biomechanical skin, and the winds blowing harshly in their direction.

(Usagi) Lotus? We've made landfall, advancing on the enemy now!

Everyone flew towards the enemy as the Typhoon raged on. Lightning would strike, threatening to shut down their systems, the water, crashing right into them, their Archwings unaffected, and the winds, a constant reminder that one mistake and they could be torn apart by the howling winds without their warframes.

As the group got closer, people who chose to shelter within their homes saw lights coming from the sea. THen they heard gunfire.

The two groups began to fight in the middle of the typhoon. Usagi and the others shot energy bullets that wore down sentient fighters to nothing, but the sentients were stronger, it took more bullets to finish them off.

In an attempt to weaken the enemy, Usagi tried firing a Warhead, even with everyone advising against it.

She shot the Warhead, but it failed. The Warhead flew out of the silo and into the air, where it was taken by the wind, exploding over the sea, away from the battle and the coast.

The fighting went on.

While Elytron and Itzal were proving difficult to use in the storm, Hotaru found much use with Amesha. She was able to convert damage to herself into a healing pulse that repaired damaged components of Warframes and Archwings.

As the winds blew harder and harder, everyone put the guns away and opted for melee combat, using the plasma-charged Veritux to cut down the enemy numbers and make way to the Orphixes.

Thankfully, the Sentients had chosen to attack Earth at the end of the Typhoon, so the hyper winds and raging waves started to subside as the battle went on.

But as the terrible weather subsided, people that had stayed behind, were coming out from their houses and apartments, to see a battle being waged at sea.

Also seeing that the weather had subsided, the girls went back to using their machine guns and abilities.

Their final attack was coordinated and perfect.

Michiru and Haruka would use their ability to hide everyone from the enemy.

As the enemy became disoriented, searching for their enemy, Hotaru would help Usagi and Setsuna recover energy.

After a few seconds, Usagi and Setsuna would reveal themselves and cover them enemy in a blanket of missile fire.

At the same time, as the enemies were weakened, everyone would lay down more machine gun fire and destroy the enemy numbers quicker than they can recover.

After most of the enemy was destroyed, Usagi and Setsuna fired a pair of Warheads to disable a pair of Orphixs, meanwhile everyone else would find another active Orphix and destroy it with a lethal rail slug, made from the life essence collected from the enemy, as their secondary fire.

In the end. The enemy was halted and stopped before they could make headway.

The girls went back to the Railjack and returned it to the Dock and went back to the Lotus.

(The Lotus) Excellent work Tenno. Without your quick response and aggressive combat, the humans on Earth seem to have been completely unaffected.

(The Lotus) I will take the combat data that was gathered by your Warframes to customize each Archwing to fit it's user.

(Usagi) Thanks Lotus. But what was with the late deployment? You're usually miles ahead of the enemy.

(The Lotus) Yes. Initially, the Orphixs were set to land on the Surface of Europa, Jupiter's Moon. But suddenly, as they neared Europa, they somehow redirected midflight and went straight for Earth. I'm not sure why they did it, but it might have to do with the fact that Earth has now become the only planet that has life upon it.

(Michiru) Interesting... But Lotus, you also seem surprised by their advanced movement. Why is that?

(The Lotus) Well, even in the previous Wars, New and Old, the Sentients were intelligent, yes, but they were never observed to be using deception other than their mimics. This is the first time that I've ever seen them using such advanced techniques.

(Haruka) Well damn... can't have that spoiling our victory right?! Let's go home and rest. I'm not trying to get up early tomorrow.

(The Lotus) One more thing. It seems that the portal to your world has reopened. Apparently, the security system had an error and thought of all of you as trespassers after it detected your void energy. It should now allow you to pass freely.

(Hotaru) Wow! Thank you Lotus.

Everyone went back to Earth, ready to celebrate their victory.

Everyone walked from Setsuna's apartment to the local cafe, ready to grab a drink after the battle, like the good ole days.

As they sat down, ready to relax, two unwelcome guests entered the cafe, looking for them.

(Minako) Usagi! Guys! Hey!

Her and Rei walked happily over to them, where they were met with looks of annoyance and tired eyes.

(Usagi) What are you two doing here? Don't you have something better to do? Like another tour or another Shrine that needs to be rid of spirits?

Rei and Minako were taken aback by the flat tone Usagi was using.

(Rei) What the hell, what's up with you? We just saw that you guys were here and wanted to join you

(Haruka) Have neither of you watched the news today...? Jeez...

(Minako) What's THAT supposed to mean?

(Hotaru) Hey you two, can you keep it down, my head's pounding right about now.

(Rei) Seriously, did we miss something or...?

Behind her, Unazuki was raising the volume on the T.V.

(Usagi) Alright guys... time to see what people think of us now...

Rei and Minako turned around to see the headline along with the footage.

The News Host began speaking as an enlarged, but extremely blurry image of Garuda with Elytron was being shown.

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. We have breaking news from the Miyaki Prefecture today involving what appears to be...

ALIENS fighting just off of our beaches today near the city of Sendai.

We have a correspondent, Kasumi Hibiki over in Sendai, reporting live, as we speak. Kasumi, you there?

The camera cut to a younger woman, maybe about to reach her twenties. Black hair, brown eyes, and a small yellow ribbon tying her hair back.

(Kasumi) Yes, I am here at the scene of the incident.

As the woman began speaking, all people could pay attention to, were the smoking, massive alien dropships that grouped together far from the sandy shores, but were still noticeable in size from a distance.

There were small boats racing out to look at the ships from up close.

The woman was still talking, but the camera was completely focused on one of the Orphixs.

It was leaning to the right, with dozens of boats below it.

And right as more began to amass under it, there was a deep, loud cracking sound as the Orphix fell over, crushing the boats underneath it.

Immediately, the feed was stopped and returned to main news Host, who started showing recorded video of the fighting during the storm.

The video was terrible in quality, but it was good enough to show what was happening.

With a shout, a presence at the doorway everyone's attention away from the news feed.

As the girls looked to the doorway, as everyone watched the news feed.

It was like time had stopped.

There she was. An international fighter who had one countless fights in her career so far with no challengers... Makoto Kino.

She strolled her way over to the girls, a slight grin on her face.

When she leaned on the booth next to Setsuna, there was immediately an air of hostility.

Makoto could sense it, but she didn't care anymore. For all she cared, the Sailor Guardians were a fun time during her high school years. And Usagi? She was just another person in the crowd.

(Makoto) Hey everyone! Usagi. Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna... holy crap, Hotaru is that you!? You've grown! Oh,hey Rei, Minako.

Usagi, too tired and angry to even address her presence, just got out of the booth and tried to walk away, go home so she could sleep.

Makoto, didn't take too kindly to this, and gripped Usagi's arm as she passed her and stopped her.

(Makoto) Hey Usagi! Where you goin? I just got here, why don't we hang out, like the good ol' days, huh?!

Usagi answered with a flat tone as she dragged Makoto's hand off of her arm.

(Usagi) I... have nothing to say to you. Goodbye.

Usagi walked outside and Makoto followed her. After her, everyone else followed her.

(Makoto) ~Heeeeey~ Usagi! C'mon, don't be like that! Hey, I'm sorry I didn't respond to you a few days ago.

Usagi kept on walking, back to Setsuna's apartment to grab her car, and go home.

As she walked across the parking lot, Makoto sprinted up to her and turned her around.

(Makoto) Hey Usagi, what's with the-

Usagi slapped Makoto as hard as she could.

After her many missions and her work with cars, she gained a lot of strength. Makoto was caught off guard by the amount of pain she felt in her left cheek as she stumbled backwards.

Shocked, she felt her now tender and bruised cheek.

Rei and Minako were about to intervene and get between them, but they were frozen in place.

After the shock wore off. Makoto stanced herself and raised her fist towards Usagi.

(Makoto) Well! Somebody's finally not a little weakling anymore! Bravo Usagi! Man, makes me think we sheould've left your ass sooner! Then, maybe things would've gone better, hell, maybe even your little boyfriend wouldn't have died if-

In that split second, all of the emotions that Usagi had been holding back, RAGE, FEAR, REGRET, ANGER, RESENTMET and everything else, just seemed to spill out at once.

She transferred into her Warframe, teleporting it from the Moon to Earth in an instant and faced Makoto.

Her talons aside, She brought out her fist and gut punched Makoto.

From the other's point of view, one second, it was Usagi, the next, there was Garuda, red crimson energy radiating from her for the first second.

After Garuda's gut punch landed, Makoto was thrown back and landed hard on the pavement.

As Makoto looked at what had hit her, she stared with horror at Garuda.

Although it wasn't meant, the darkness of the night sky made Garuda glow with a royal crimson glow, and her golden visor glinted in the light of the light of the Cafe.

(Usagi)(Garuda) You. Will never utter his name.

Garuda unlatched one of her talons.

(Usagi) In the time I needed you and the others the most... you abandoned me. All of you did. And now, I've confirmed it through her.

Usagi raised Garuda's Talon to Makoto's throat.

(Usagi) AS far as I'm concerned... you're dead to me. As are Minako Aino, Rei Hino and Ami Mizuno.

(Usagi) You all act like you are above your duties to protect this planet with your powers, but look now. There is a new enemy, and where are all of you? You are no where to be seen, nor heard. You have given up your responsibility as a guardian of this planet. So, I ask- no! I DEMAND YOU, ALL THREE OF YOU! Never talk to me again, unless you can prove, prove to me and the others, that you can, and WILL devote yourselves to protecting this planet.

Makoto, Minako and Rei were all frozen with fear. They had grown accustomed to Usagi being cold to them, but this was the most terrifying thing she had done to one of her own.

Usagi retracted Garuda Talon back to it's resting position.

She trasferred out of it, and it was teleported back to the Moon.

(Makoto) What... the hell... are you...?

(Usagi) That. Is none of your fucking business. This might as well be the las time we speak to each other. SO goodbye Makoto, Rei and Minako. It was fun while it lasted... being friends... fighting enemies, all of it. But that's over now. Goodbye, and hopefully what me and the others do out there, shows you, what I am willing to risk. To uphold my duty, even if it's a lie... As a Sailor Guardian.

Usagi and the others walked back to Setsuna's apartment, Usagi went home, and the incident was never spoken about, or even whispered about.

A few days later, Makoto was doing an interview, when the reporter questioned Makoto about the blackened spot on her cheek.

She dodge the question, saying that she was doing something stupid, when she fell over, and hit her face on something.
