Episode 21:Cyt_-_V0iD

Setsuna and Hotaru begin sweeping the silent, foggy streets of London, England, searching for the Warframe, Cyte-09. Or at least the ghost of the Warframe.

As the two search for the Warframe, they get a transmission from the Lotus.

(Hotaru) Hello?

(Lotus) Tenno. Stay close to one another. The Warframe signals... something's wrong with them. They've changed. All of the signals, including those of your allies, are all now in the same place. Search for each other and group up. I don't trust my readings. I don't know what forces are at play, but be on your guard Tenno

(Setsuna) Understood.

The two walked the streets, searching for people.

Then suddenly, Setsuna cocks her shotgun as she sees a pair of silhouettes.

(Setsuna) Who's there?

As Hotaru and Setsuna appraoched, they saw Garuda and Ember.

(Usagi) What the...? Hotaru? Setsuna? What are you doing here?

(Rei) What the-

(Setsuna) How are you two here?

(Rei) Great question, but WHERE are we?

(Hotaru) London, England.

(Usagi) EHHHH!?

(Rei) What!? That's impossible. We were just in the vault.

Then out of the smoke, Octavia and Nova appeared.

(Haruka) Ah... shit. Well, anyone know what's going on?

(Michiru) Where are we? The two of us were just in Iceland.

After them, Trinity and Valkyr appeared.

(Makoto) Oh, new teleport point?

(Ami) What's going on? How are we all here?

As the six stood together, two more silhouettes appeared, Minako and Mamoru.

Everyone could hear Usagi's protective instincts kick in as soon as she saw Mamoru appear.

(Usagi) Mamo?!

Usagi left her Warframe and went over to Mamoru.

(Mamoru) Usako? Where are we? And... what's... going on?

Usagi looked around before smiling brightly at Mamoru and saying with a cheerful voice.

(Usagi) I have... no idea!

Mamoru looked slightly deflated, but chuckled with Usagi's answer.

(Usagi) But I'll protect you!

Usagi transferred back to Garuda, showing Mamoru Garuda's golden talons.

(Usagi) If someone wants to mess with you, they'll have to get through these!

Then the group looked at Mesa, as Minako stood awkwardly next to the couple.

(Makoto) Hey... the Lotus didn't give you a target. What'd you end up doing.

(Minako) Well... about that... the Lotus noticed the signals getting weird by the time the last pair left, so she just told me to stay, just in case.

(Setsuna) Huh. Okay... but how did we all get here... Mamoru's not even inside of a Warframe...

(Mamoru) A Warframe?

(Usagi) Oh! Yeah, let's see if you can summon yours. Try it like this, focus all of your energy into your core, condensing it to the highest degree you can.

Mamoru laughed

(Mamoru) I'm... I'm sorry, it's just, the situation is alarming, but you sound like one of those fitness programs.

Mamoru began focusing his energy to his core, where he found a strange feeling.

Then, Mamoru was enveloped in a bright Cyan light, and after it faded, where Mamoru stood, was Excalibur, now moving on Mamoru's accord.

(Mamoru) Huh...? I've... felt this before... But where...?

(Usagi) Oh really? I wonder where from...

Usagi said it in a mocking tone, as Garuda's head immediately spun towards Valkyr.

Everyone looked at Usagi, then to Makoto, then back to Mamoru.

(Mamoru) And I already have weapons?

Mamoru's hand went to his hip, where a pistol. One that seemed to fit the style of Orokin design.

On Mamoru's/ Excalibur's back, there was now a simple blade, skana, and his own, Burston.

(Mamoru) So... I guess I'm getting involved now, whether I'm ready or not.

Another set of steps was heard in the distance, the sound of clicking of boots on the stone pavement.

As the sound drew closer, a figure emerged. It was Usagi, in her work uniform, a set of bluish-grey shirt and pants, covered in old spills of oil, gasoline and various other tiny spills.

(V0iD Entity) Hellllo everyone! Good to see you all again. Glad to see that you still have the same resolve as the Tenno before you.

The Entity wearing Usagi's face laughed, using her face to express a mischievous grin.

(V0iD Entity) So let's play another game, shall we?

(Usagi) You can go straight to hell you little bastard!

(V0iD Entity) Hm... why? When you'll get to experience it firsthand?

The world around them began to twist and contort, swirling until the group found themselves in the dead sea of deep space, surrounded by colossal tendrils of pure white light, that stretched into thin hairs, stretching beyond any measurable distance.

(V0iD Entity) If you want to live, you will make sure the timelines stay on the correct path, or else, you'll get stuck in an never-ending loop, unable to leave until you correct the timeline.

The Entity floated before everyone, smiling.

(V0iD Entity) But don't worry, you won't be entirely clueless. I'll tell you what needs to happen in order for you to leave, and you'll have a partner each.

Suddenly, energy began crackling around them in enormous spires of energy, arcing void energy around them as portal into darkness opened up between each pair.

3: Makoto / Minako | Valkyr Prime / Mesa Prime

4: Haruka / Michiru | Nova Prime / Octavia Prime

Each pair fell through the portals, each sent into eternal darkness into different places.

As to where, terrifies the group, but they remain strong.

Author's note: Sorry everyone once again for the short episodes. Been tryin to write, but haven't been able to get the right ideas out when I want them. I'll be getting back to the longer episodes soon.
