Lucas soon showered changed and got into bed beside her.
Wearing a grey t-shirt and blue sweatpants this time.
(I've been thinking and wondering about the idea of you. Saul and Shane. Joining me.)
(My suite has plenty of room. The boys are so young.)
(This would be such an adventure for them and for us.)
(What do you think.?) Lucas questioned.
(There is nothing I want more. Our sons would love it.)
(I wanted to ask. I just didn't want to intrude on you're world.) Brooke admitted.
(You. Our boys. This new baby. Are my whole life. My motivation and inspiration to have the best career I can.) Lucas proclaimed.
(I love you.) Brooke said.
(I love you too.) Lucas replied.
Lucas soon turned out the lights and wrapped her in his arms as they slept.
Days Later
After packing suitcases. Informing loved ones.
The growing family took off for the airport.
After flying for hours in first class.
The family had arrived in LA.
Once they were settled at the hotel. Lucas left to meet with Gene.
Gene almost running into him.
(I just came in to check in on the star of the show. Is there anything you need from me?) Gene asked.
A door opened and closed quietly.
Brooke suddenly appearing. Looking to Lucas.
(Ginger ale and a box of saltines Luke.) Brooke said. Rubbing her stomach.
(I'll go get that.) Lucas replied.
(Brooke. I'm surprised you're here. ) Gene replied.
(Yeah. Me and the boys. Lucas wanted us to come along.)
(It's a family trip our first one as a growing family of 5.) Brooke said. With a warm smile.
(Congrats to the growing family.) Gene replied.
Lucas took her hand and kissed her lightly.
(I won't be long.) Lucas assured her.
(We'll meet in the morning.) Gene replied. Making his way back to his suite.
He let out a frustrated sigh.
Brooke and the boys being here would be the focus now.
They would be a distraction. And Gene wouldn't have that.
It was simple they had to go.
