(AN: I don't know if anyone's read it or not, but uh… Auto Hunting with my Clones is one of my favorite Web Comics… just saying. Anyhow.)

(AN2: Thank you The Ultimate Deity, for the review, and I'm glad I didn't lose you while gone! DarthGhengis thank you for your review as well! I really appreciate it as SeerKing's Naruto Gamer is one of my favorite stories, and one of the reasons I started this one. Flying Raijin, thank you for the feedback, and I hope you continue to stick around! Now then! Let's get into it!)

[Premium Gift Package Opened!]

Naruto kicked his dangling legs, ice cream in hand as he sat atop the Fourth's head. He let out a yawn as the system beeped and blinked while loading the content of this long awaited reward. The sun set as a backdrop for the moment. Hopefully, it would make the perfect end to the day.

"Maybe it's something good, like a better haircut and some dye."

Rolling his eyes at the Fox's comment, Naruto waited, and waited, and…

"Damn…" The fox mirrored his words.

[We thank you for playing The Game, and hope you enjoy this reward!]

[+1 Elixir Pill, +1 A+ Rank (Elemental) Jutsu Scroll, +5 Skill Points, +1 (Next Stage) Chakra Control Scroll, +1 Great Seal Chest Piece, +1 Biju Pill, +1 B+ Taijutsu Scroll. +1000 EXP, +50,000 Ryo.]

"What's the Biju Pill?" The fox asked. But Naruto was already looking at the other items.

Elixir Pill: Heals the Player to full, no matter the enemy, and restores all Chakra. (Note: Elixir Pill has now been added to the Store tab for 150k Ryo.)

The (Elemental) Jutsu scroll he received was interesting, but he stashed it for later. Apparently he could choose any element, and the Scroll would only pull from that pool.

Moving on, he used the Chakra Control Scroll, and it became a Water Walking Technique scroll. Two notifications popped up.

[Water Walking Technique Scroll Obtained.]

[Would you like to spend 3 Skill points to instantly become Lvl 2?]

[Y/N]

And then.

[Water Walking Technique Scroll Obtained.]

[Urgent Quest Unlocked!]

[Sub Mission: From the Trees to the Water]

[Description: Get to Level 10 with the Water Walking Technique without purchasing it through the system.]

[Rewards: +20 Relationship with Kakashi Hatake, +100 EXP, +1 Attribute Point.]

He stored the scroll away for now. Kakashi had been impressed with him and completed the quest nearly two months ago. But he didn't really need the extra Relationship Points with the Jonin. And the other rewards sucked. Plus, if he got the technique now, it would be way faster leveling his Chakra control, which currently barely rested at Medium, and was level 31. It barely moved with a clone, doing nothing but running up and down a tree for 24 hours.

Great Seal Chest Piece (1/5): The Great Seal Armor Set was crafted nearly a decade ago for use by Shinobi, that needed the extra carrying capacity, while also giving a significant boost to both offensive and defensive capabilities. Each piece has at least one seal attached.

Headgear: ?

Chest: Three Seals: 1 Large Storage Seal, 2 Large Defensive Seals.

Armguards: ?

Pants: ?

Boots: ?

He had received a tutorial for armor seals some time ago, back when he had purchased his current gear. But the basics were: each armor piece could have 0 or more seals attached, that were either storage based or defensive. Storage seals were for, well, storage. Meanwhile, defensive seals could be any number of technique or ability. And according to the chest's seals, he had some pretty good ones.

Clone Mastery Seal: Grants a -25% Reduction in Chakra Cost for all Clone based skills.

And.

Shadow Step Seal: Allows the user to blend in with the shadows. Grants 10% Stealth bonus when embraced by darkness.

The second seal wasn't the greatest, but hoooooo boy, that Clone Seal. With the amount he could spam, it would be be—

[Urgent Quest Unlocked!]

"Eh?"

[Priority Quest: Find the Source of the Smoke.]

Naruto snapped his head down upon reading the words, eyes washing over the village. An itch at the back of his mind slowly conjured images of the last fire he had been in. The boy shuddered and quickly glanced back at the notification once he spotted several pillars of the black fumes erupting from the forest below. All over the village, he could see the villagers running around as buildings burned.

[Description: Dozens of fires have been spotted around the village. As ANBU and other Shinobi do their best to put out the homes and businesses of the Village, their attention has been drawn away from the forests in side the wall. Try to stop the spread of flames using any means possible.]

"What?" Naruto trailed off. He didn't even bother looking at the rewards. Instead, he tried to figure out whether the village was under attack or not.

"There's a time limit."

"Yeah…" Naruto noticed as well that several fires were clustered. "Definitely man made."

Eight clones popped into existence beside him and Naruto began barking orders. "There's nine of us, so let's go. Three groups." Six leaped over the side of the cliff, one group heading left, another heading to the middle. Naruto, meanwhile, stared at something on the right side of the forest. Someone moving fast, but… after a moment, more flames would start. "You two focus on the fires. I'm heading after whoever that is."

"You sure, boss?"

Another clone spoke up, worry clear in its voice. "We could back you up?"

Shaking his head, "The fires are more important. I've got backup of my own, anyway." Naruto held up a hand to stop their response. "Let's go."

An update for the quest appeared, and Naruto leaped over the edge, his clones hot on his heels.

The flames were hot, and Naruto couldn't help but let the memories of the theater wash over his mind. The air burned his lungs as he threw out jutsu after jutsu while chasing down this mysterious figure through the haze of smoke. He couldn't stop though, he had to do something. It was getting bad, though, judging from his current poisoned status.

"Boy, you shouldn't really be down here."

"I'll be fine." He coughed into his shoulder. What was worse, was that the shops had barely had time to refill, so no matter what happened, his ace in the hole, Flooding Wave, only had one scroll left to use.

"I don't think it's worse that you're short a scroll." The fox said. "You could die if you're not careful."

"The village is at stake."

"The adults can handle it."

"Everyone has a part to play," Silence greeted him back as the fox slipped away. That was fine though, he could con—

"—The fires?" Naruto froze in his steps as quiet voices wafted through the trees in front of him.

"It got the job done, didn't it?" Was that… Mizuki-sensei?

Naruto crouched low and peaked through a nearby bush, and sure enough, his sensei stood in front of a masked that almost looked like an ANBU, but something seemed off…

"At least it'll buy time for the escape. Is that the scroll?"

Naruto noted a large, almost massive, scroll on Mizuki's back. "Of course, I started the fires nearby. That senile old man sent half of his guards out. That fool is too trusting."

"Hand it over."

Mizuki stepped back instead. "Not unless I get my assurances."

Scoffing, the masked man shrugged, "Of course. You'll be welcomed in with open arms. The Sound will make you a Jonin in our ranks."

The Sound? Naruto's eyes narrowed as Mizuki slowly pulled the scroll from his back, and looked toward a sound nearby. "Someone there?" A tree fell from that direction, and the silver-haired man laughed. "All this has made me a bit paranoid it seems."

Meanwhile, the other man had already put his hand on top of the scroll. His other hand, however, sneaked into a pouch on his back, and slowly a kunai was pulled out.

"Oi!" Naruto jumped from his position. "Sensei! What are you doing!?" He shouted.

"The fox brat?" his sensei whipped around in shock.

The kunai in the other man's hand disappeared, and he lifted the scroll over his shoulder instead. "This works out."

"Damn it." Naruto groaned on the inside. This was going to be a pain.

Alpha Team One did their best to put out as many fires as possible, but with their limit 180 CP, spamming jutsu was a little hard.

"Boss!" One of the clones saluted to another who had donned a white handkerchief around his neck.

"Report!"

"All fires in the left quadrant have been put out! Sir!"

Alpha One nodded at his look alike, "Good job, soldier. How's your chakra?"

While they had 1/10th of their creators chakra, they thankfully had 1/5th of his Chakra Regeneration.

"1/3rd sir!"

"Help your brother on the Right side."

"Sir yes, sir!"

The clone ran off as the Team Leader starred down the dwindling fires before him. It would seem something else was afoot, however. He turned, staring blankly ahead as a masked figure appeared from the shadows.

"Well, well, well." The person said. "You're the Kyubi brat, aren't you?"

Shifting his weight to the left. One hand gripping his side tightly. A slight wheeze to his voice. A large gash carving into their mask. And… was that someone draped over his shoulder? "You're heavily injured. Speak now. Who are you?"

"Oh? I heard you were a brat that never took anything seriously. But that voice of yours… You almost sound respectable. Almost."

"I am Alpha One. Answer the questions. Or I shall place you under arrest as a Genin of Konoha."

"Hohoho…" The masked figure stepped forward, dropping the person over their shoulder revealing… purple hair? "What's a lone child going to do against someone like me? Huh? I just took out half an ANBU team. What're you gonna do?"

"Alone?" Alpha crossed his arms and looked at him like he was an idiot. "Who says I'm alone?"

The person leaped forward and to the left as ten massive water shuriken flew through the air, tearing the ground asunder, but one just managed to nick the back of the figure's leg, leaving him crying out in not pain, but anger.

"You bastards!" the figure spun, but instead of back up, two more clones sat in the trees above him, serious looks on their faces. "Clones?"

"You changing our title, boss?"

"Yeah, we need to kick this guy's ass."

"What the hell are you talking about!" the person watched as the blondes pulled out kunai, an almost manic look spreading across their face. Judging from their voice cracking from anger, Alpha could pick out one thing.

"Listen now, enemy of Konoha. I am Alpha One, The West Wind. For your crimes today, I herby place you under arrest. Resist if you choose to."

"Alpha One! West Wind? What the hell are you talking about, Jinchuriki?" Definitely a woman. It seemed their mask had some sort of vocal seal to change what they sounded like. Judging from the crack in the mask, it was slowly losing its use.

As the man spun around, the other two members of his team dashed forward, throwing wind coated kunai and moving to get the other ANBU to safety.

A large weapon was pulled from the figures back, knocking the thrown weapons from the sky, but Alpha was ready, hands flashing through signs, "Wind Style: Spiraling Force!" While slow, the woman had enough speed to flip around, slamming the mysterious weapon into the ground, blocking a majority of the attack. It was just a distraction, however.

"Fire Style: Fire Flies!" The flames flew quick, over a hundred small balls that slammed into the stream of wind, causing an inferno.

"Gaah! You bastards!" The woman leaped into the air, away from the flames, narrowly escaping being burned to a crisp. Still, it was not without punishment.

21 Fire Damage

Their burning cloak was thrown off, revealing their now burned leg, but also the gash on their right side that was poorly bandaged. "I'm going to kill you slowly, kid. I'm going to TEAR YOUR THROAT OUT!" She dashed forward, swinging her uncovered massive sword, fury burning in her eyes.

"Troublesome." Alpha stole Shikamaru's favorite line. He wondered if Beta Two would hear the noise and come help. Bah, he wouldn't need his younger brother. He'd deal with this worm fast.

"Deal with the Jinchuriki. If you can bring him back alive, I'm sure Orochimaru would celebrate your arrival. More so than delivering the Scroll of Sealing. Dead would also work, however."

That was the last thing the man said before disappearing into the darkness, and now, Naruto was huffing, tired from his brief spar with his sensei. The man was certainly troublesome, and while Naruto had been spewing water trying to put out the fires, the man was at the top of his game.

"Come now, fox brat, if you come quietly, I'll only take an arm and a leg. Keep fighting, and you might not even get to keep your life."

Naruto gritted his team. "I'm not the fox, you bastard. It's just sealed in me!"

"Sounds like something a fox would say!" That thrice damned giant shuriken flew through the air, whipping past him as he dove to the right.

"Would you at please stop throwing that thing!" Naruto shouted. He needed to figure out how to get rid of it.

"Naruto-san." A voice called out behind him, and instinctively, he lashed out, throwing a lightning coated kunai. The new arrival merely palmed the weapon, ignoring the spark, staring at him through the slitted eyes of—

"Boar!" Neko's old partner. What was he doing out here?

"Genin Uzumaki. Report."

"Don't listen to him, ANBU-san. I caught him setting fires in the forest!" Mizuki shouted.

"I don't know what's going on," Naruto admitted truthfully. "Mizuki was talking to a masked man, and gave him a scroll. He called it… called it… Oh, the Scroll of Sealing! Something about an Orochimaru guy, too."

"Orochimaru?" the ANBU turned to Mizuki, "What say you, Chunin Mizuki? And what's this about the Scroll?"

"I—"

"We don't have time!" Naruto interrupted. "Whatever that scroll is, that masked man is getting away with it!"

"A break in was reported at the Hokage's tower." Boar muttered.

"I don't know what the brat is talking about! This is just one of his pranks gone wrong! He's a menace!"

"Boar-San, please. If you can go after that man, you might be able to recover it!"

"Boar!" A new figured appeared. "We have new orders!"

"Damn it!" Mizuki cursed.

"Beetle, there's been an update."

"Does it have to do with the Scroll of Sealing?"

"How—Yes sir! Team Ro was sent after a strange group once it was discovered missing. They were taken out nearby! We're to locate the attackers and the scroll, as well."

"Mizuki seems—"

"He went that way!" Naruto pointed in the direction the masked man disappeared to. "He melted into the shadows, but I know he went that way!"

"Beetle."

"My bugs are picking up a third chakra signature in this area."

"But the kid—"

"I'll handle Mizuki!" Naruto claimed. "Seriously. I don't know why that scroll is important, but if they took out a team for it, and these fires are involved, it must be important. I'm sure I can hold off Mizuki-teme and his shuriken until someone else arrives."

Silence, apart from the sounds of the flames that grew closer. Honestly, it was deafening to Naruto, and it took all he had not to back down. But—

Boar pulled out some kind of cylinder and pointed it into the air. A flare shot out and screeched into the night sky. "Back up should arrive. Be safe, Genin Uzumaki."

"He's a child."

"He's strong."

And the two were gone.

Naruto grinned, though, as he turned back to Mizuki. "Just you and me again, sensei." The fire was closing in now, the perfect time to use his ace in the hole.

"You really think you can stop me? Me?" The man laughed. "I'm a Chunin! I should be a Jonin, really. And you? You're nothing more than a failure, who lucked into becoming a Genin. The lowest of the low. You're nothing, demon. I was almost worried about those ANBU, but you were so stupid. So, so, stupid. And now? You'll die for it." He threw his shuriken, and Naruto dived again, but this time, Mizuki's hands flashed through signs. "Earth Style:—"

Naruto threw several shurikens at the man, who barley dodge, but held the final hand sign. He was the only one though, as Naruto threw his ace into the air, unsealing a large amount of water high above them. "Water Style:—"

"—Quicksand Trap!"

"—Flooding Wave!"

The ground began to sink underneath, but his water crashed down, just as the flames began to reach them.

Hit!

9 Wind Damage!

"Tch." Alpha sneered at the woman, whose mask by now had been shattered by a Stunning Elbow. Still, they were barely doing any damage to their target. That was the issue with fighting other humans, it seemed. While Charka Constructs had much lower defense, humans saturating their body with chakra gave them a much higher defense, even though their health pools were lower.

Each member of his team was low on chakra at this point, but the worst part was their poor taijutsu and skill with the Kunai. When this was over and done with, he was going to let their Creator know to work on that. For now, however, "Why are you in Konoha?"

Her sword swiped over his head as he ducked back. His team moved in for an opening. "To bring you leaf huggers to ruin. Why else!?" She slammed her weapon into the ground, blocking off one of the clones and swinging a weakened kick at another.

"Lightning Style: Electric Scissors!" He barely scratched her back, then she turned with a sneer, but instead of lashing out at him, she slammed a foot into her weapon… with her metal boots? The clone on the other side of her sword grabbed his ears suddenly at the sudden clang, and simply popped. The memories appeared in his own mind. The death was like his body had simply shaken apart.

Then there was heat.

He and the other clone ducked as the flames flickered high above. So Fire and some kind of invisible jutsu. Wind maybe? Or could it have been some other ability?

"You and your clones, kid. I'm going to torture you now, for sure. I swear to Kami, I'm going to rip your fucking limbs off, so, so slowly."

He threw a kunai, point blank, with a smoke bomb attached.

"Flying Kick!" His last remaining team member flew in from the side with a satisfying crunch.

Hit!

6 Damage

Crippled!

"You brats!"

The hairs on Alpha's neck stood on end, and he quickly pumped chakra into his legs and leaped back, as suddenly flames erupted around her, burning away the other clone.

"So you must be the original, then." From the flames, the woman walked out, embers dancing around her. She was still bleeding heavily from the side, her right leg was burned heavily, and the fingers on her left hand were bent at awkward angles.

"That's a negative, ma'am." Alpha muttered.

"Bullshit." She forced her broken fingers into position and made out four barely recognizable hand signs. Grabbing her weapon with her working hand, flames quickly enveloped her blade. "I'm going to kill you now, brat. I don't care how much Orochimaru would pay me. I'm gonna do things to your body Unspeakable things. No one will ever be able to—"

"—Descending Sphere!" A trio of voices called out from the treeline, and suddenly the woman was being slammed into the ground via three water bombs.

Hit!

23 Damage.

Finally! His Observe worked and he could see the woman's total exp. And… Alpha was happy the woman had some sort of fight beforehand.

HP: 1411/540

"Hey, hey, hey!" from the trees came the voice of his rescuer. "Beta Two is ready to Rock. And. Roll!"

"You're late." Alpha called out while shaking his head.

"Aww, did you miss little old me?" Beta stepped into the clearing, his own team shadowing his every move. "Don't worry, big bro. The Cavalry is here."

"More!" the now soaked woman roared. "Where do you insects keep coming from?!"

"What's the sitch, bro?" the clone tugged on his own mask, a blue one that covered his mouth and nose, blocking the smoke.

"Kenjutsu user, favors Fire Style, has shown aspects of an unknown technique, similar to wind. I'm calling it Sound style."

"So you brats figured it out." The woman tried to speak, but the other clones interrupted her.

"So both your team is down, right?"

"Hn."

"Any recommendations?"

"We could use a new Taijutsu style."

"The scroll the boss got?"

"Possibly. I'm low on ammo. Our Creator didn't restock too well after the dungeon."

"You heard big bro, boys. If you pop, keep that taijutsu style on your mind, and for the time being…"

"Let's Rock!"

"Water Style:—"

Naruto dragged himself from the quicksand/mud creation he had made, quickly found Mizuki-teme's Shuriken, and grabbed the weapon. "Aha!" He shouted in glee and proceeded to chuck the weapon as hard as he could, as far away as he could. "Take that!"

"You… damned… brat."

Naruto threw a quick observe on the man.

HP: 107/241

Damn it.

"I'm gonna kick your butt, Mizuki-teme." He taunted.

"I'm… going to kill you. You damned… You DEMON!"

"There you go with calling me a demon again."

"Because you are. It's what the Village hates you, brat."

Naruto rolled his eyes at the man, though it was at least a good distraction. Gave him time to get his chakra back. He was just hoping whatever his clones were doing right now would wrap up quick. Though with how they were dying…

"It's because of the Kyubi! That's why!"

His back was killing him as well. Man. He wondered if he let the man kick him in the right spot… Taijutsu? Where had that thought come from? Also, why did he feel like he had just been—the Clones!

"You just seriously forgot your clones were fighting in the span of four seconds?"

"Not now!" Naruto had forgotten about that scroll when he had seen the fire. But in all honesty. Taijutsu wasn't his strongest aspect anyhow, so what would be the point?

"That's right! Everyone you've ever cared about lied to you! Iruka, the Hokage, even those damn ramen chefs!"

Hopefully, he'd get something good. Though with the last one being simply a piece of the Uchiha clan jutsu, this would probably be—

[Congratulations! You have received the Intermediate version of the Gentle Fist! However, due to your current skill and not having the prerequisite abilities, you have also been granted the Beginner's version. Due to your skill in other Taijutsu styles and your Taijutsu Conditioning, some exp has been granted to you. When you have mastered the beginner's style, the intermediate will be automatically unlocked.

Beginner's Gentle Fist (Lvl 3 19%): The Gentle Fist is a fast hitting Taijutsu style that mainly utilizes the user's Fingers and Palms to immobilize their enemies while injecting their chakra into the targeted points.. By targeting joints and organs, the user can easily stop an enemy in their tracks. The creator of this style is the Hyuga Clan, who can utilize this style to target their opponents' Chakra Network, cutting off the user's ability to mold chakra. Costs 10 CP a strike.

"Whoa."

"What?"

Naruto looked up to see Mizuki staring at him. "Huh? Oh sorry, did you say something? I was… doing something more important."

"You're the nine-tailed fox reincarnated, and you have no reaction?"

"I mean… He's just sealed inside of me. He's a bit grumpy at times but—"

"Brat." The fox interrupted.

"You speak to it? You really are the demon. That's probably just your subconscious, demon!"

"I think you need help, sensei."

"What?"

"Seriously, I mean all this screaming about demons, and killing kids… Have you tried seeing a Yamanaka?"

"You—!" The man almost seemed to choke on his fury. "I'm going to—"

"But you're forgetting something, Mizuki!" He interrupted.

The man blinked, staring at him in confusion. "What?" And then he was stabbed in the back.

"I've always got something up my sleeve!" Thank you, Water Clones.

Two more grew from the now soaked ground thanks to his previous water jutsu.

"I hope you're ready, my dear sensei. Cause the Naruto Clones are here to kick. Your. Butt." Naruto relished the fear in the man's eyes. It was nothing personal. But… okay, maybe it was. This probably explained why his tests were always harder than the others. Definitely personal then.

That was fine. Naruto had some anger to take out on the bastard. He didn't like fire much anymore.

Alpha leaped into the air after Beta kicked the back of the woman's leg. As she fell to one knee, he curled his fingers and reared back, then slammed his palm straight into the side of her face, forcing chakra through with a quick burst.

Her Jaw shattered.

Alpha didn't like the feeling of the taijutsu, but it seemed Beta took to it like, well, water. The blue masked clone fell into a copied stance of Neji and that one girl in their creator's class, then quickly jabbed two fingers into her chest.

"Gah!" She pushed herself to her feet, gripping her falling sword, and swung. "I'll—"

"Yeah, yeah, lady!" Beta taunted her. "You keep saying that!"

Low on chakra, Alpha settled for slamming his fist into her wounded stomach, and leaped back. "Focus, Beta."

Ignoring him, the other clone continued taunting the woman as the other two team members took pot shots while circling around.

She was getting low, thankfully, but something didn't feel right to Alpha. He was missing something, or was he forgetting it?

She moved, fast as lightning suddenly, and slammed her sword straight through one of the other clones, but then she pulled something from the hilt. It almost looked like—

"Get back!" Alpha shouted. He had forgotten her sound based attacks. She had only used the one, but in her hand now was some sort of flute or similar. His hands flew up to cup his ears. "You ears! Cover your—" Even covering his ears, he could hear the shrill whistle. Thankfully, Beta had made it in time, but his final team member slapped his hands over his head and collapsed before popping.

"Damned… brats." Her voice was slurred, and Alpha could tell the woman couldn't even close her mouth properly.

"You hit pretty hard, lady." Beta couldn't help but interject.

"Beta…" Alpha warned.

"Yeah, yeah, bro. Alright. Let's kick this lady's ass. She's only got 42 HP left."

"HP?" the woman snarled. "What, do you think this is some kind of game? This is real life, you brats! And you're about to die!"

She leaped forward, stabbing at the blue clone with her flute, and Alpha noted the sharp edge.

"Missed me!" She stabbed at him again, and again, but when she moved the weapon to her mouth, Alpha struck, sweeping at her injured leg, knocking her off balance.

She snarled and fell onto her good arm, pushing off of the ground and trying to kick Beta, barely missing by a hair.

"Almost got me that time!"

Alpha made to grab her, but she spun out of the way, "Beta! Chakra!"

"42!"

"23!"

"Shut up!"

The two clones moved in sync, Alpha jumping with a kick while Beta struck at her midsection with his new Gentle Fist attacks. Two connect, and the other side of the woman's jaw shattered from Alpha's kick. She fell backward, jumbled words spewing from her lips.

"Don't let up!"

"I should be saying that to you old ma—" Her flute jabbed straight through his eye socket, and for a moment the clones froze.

"Beta!" And then he popped. Alpha threw a punch at her now opened arm, not letting his brother's death be in vain. The woman moved out of his way, stumbling back.

"One… left…" he could barely make out the words.

HP: 31/540

"I'll bring you down," Alpha swore.

He couldn't understand her reply. But suddenly, she threw her weapon. Alpha dove, barely dodging the close attack, but one hand was already flashing through hand signs as flames began to glow at her lips.

"Damn it!" Alpha shouted. He tried to get up, out of the way, but—

"Flying Kick!" Two blurs slammed into the woman's back, driving her deep into the ground.

Hit!

21 Damage!

Spine Crippled! Paralyzed… Permanent Status.

"Back up has arrived!"

"Took a while to find you, boss!" Alpha sighed in relief as the clones stuck poses over the now crippled woman.

"We got lost while putting out all the fires!"

"Finished up quick, though! Quest complete!"

The two who had originally stayed with Naruto were fresh and ready to fight! Though, as Alpha looked down at the woman, there would be no more fighting, at least not here anyhow.

"…" The woman tried to speak, but only a garbled mess spewed out.

Her health ticked down. Slowly. 1 at a time. She was dying. A minute at a time.

"Everything alright, boss?"

"Stand back, you two." Alpha rose to his feet and walked over to the woman. The easiest thing to do now would be to put her out of her misery.

"Boss?"

He raised his palm, gathering the chakra needed for the gentle fist. "Bitch." He cursed.

[Enemy Defeated!]

Naruto ignored the notification for now as he ducked under Mizuki's wild swings. He countered with a Gentle Fist strike, slamming a palm into Mizuki's arm with a crunch. "Those clones of yours are smarter than you, that's for sure." Naruto ignored the fox's words and ducked under another attack. The man was simply falling apart. Not a single move was logical. Of course, when you were getting pummeled by multiple versions of someone you hated, you'd probably be going crazy as well.

"Surrender, sensei!"

A guttural roar left the man's throat, and he charged at Naruto.

So he lashed out, jamming his fingertips into his assailant's shoulder with a burst of charka. Naruto winced as the man screamed in pain as something popped under his fingertips. "Surrender!"

"You damned demon!"

Naruto felt the rest of his shadow clones, bar one, finally dispel themselves, and he couldn't help but turn his face to the night sky and let out a sigh.

"Sensei… Nah, you don't deserve that title anymore. Tell me, Mizuki. How many times did I fail a test or get sent out of the class because of you, huh? Or the Taijutsu tests. Did you go against me with the same strength as you did the others?"

"Damn you… demon. Damn you to hell."

The sound of someone walking through the burned ground behind him caused Naruto to turn, a kunai in hand, only to see a familiar face. "Neko?" Hadn't his other clones rescued her?

"Genin Uzumaki?" The woman looked around the area. "Report."

She was favoring her side, but overall, didn't look nearly as bad as the other purple haired ANBU. "All fire's extinguished, and two enemy shinobi defeated, ma'am." He struck a salute and grinned brightly at the woman, no matter how tired and worn he felt.

"Two?"

"Mizuki-sensei had some kind of deal with another group. He gave them something called The Scroll of Sealing, and was tasked with killing me, or bringing me back to someone called Orochimaru." Wait, wasn't Orochimaru someone important?

"Orochimaru!" judging by the whispers of the other ANBU, it seemed the man was someone of interest.

"Where did they go?"

"Boar-san and Beetle both gave chase while I held off Mizuki!" Naruto's arm was getting tired from the salute. "Meanwhile, another figure was found by my clones, trying to make off with another ANBU member. We… We thought it was you."

"It must have been Badger. She's still unaccounted for." Someone whispered into Neko's ear.

"She's alright," Naruto quickly interjected and formed a hand sign. Immediately, the rest of the ANBU were on guard, but a lone clone popped into being.

"Yo, boss?" Naruto glanced at the almost lazy seeming clone, but dismissed his thoughts of the weird attitude.

"Show the ANBU where the other battle happened."

"Beta is on the case!" He grabbed one of the ANBU and tried dragging him away. "Alpha is still guarding the bodies, so they should just be…"

As the voices trailed off, Naruto couldn't help but wonder. "Maybe I should spend more time with my clones. I think they're going crazy."

"Just like their original."

"Toad, follow after. Keep an eye out for any more opponents. I will take Dog and Crow with me to search for Boar and Beetle. Tiger, take Naruto to Lord Third."

"Hai!"

"Cat," another stepped forward, Tiger, and asked, "Should I request back up?"

"No need. The fires are more important. Let them work on that."

As Naruto was taken by the ANBU, he couldn't help but let out a yawn. This day was just too exciting. He needed some sleep.

(AN: Yo, yo! I hope you liked the way the Mizuki situation played out this time! But, to point out the obvious in the room, yes, some of Naruto's clones have slightly different personalities! I've kind of hinted at it before, but the main clones will be the 'Leader' clones, the ones who will be able to change the titles of their respective groups and the like. So far we have the Wind Titled Clone, Alpha the first clone created, and then there's Beta, the Water Clone. With Alpha, while he is more serious compared to the OG Naruto, he is still at his core, Naruto's Clone, which is why he gave himself such a self-important title as the West Wind. Beta is like water, always gently flowing and more at ease with everything around him. Just don't get him angry. But yeah, at their core, they are still Naruto. They won't really be important, however, the names are mostly to just separate the clones and Naruto during different fights. Hope you all enjoyed, and don't forget to fuel me with Reviews!)
