When they got back Iruka resumed class.
The students turned their attention away from Naruto and focused on the lesson.
Kiba wasn't in the right state of mind to focus on the lesson. He was still shaken from the battle.
Akamaru was feeling the same as his master.

Naruto and Choji were eating snacks while Shikamaru was playing shogi with Shikaku.
After eating quite a bit Naruto decided to take a nap.

''Naruto when are you going to do your research on the first Hokage." Choji
"Oh I almost forgot about that." Naruto
"Iruka-Sensei would have given you a earful." Shikamaru said before moving a piece on the board
"What's this about research on the first Hokage." Shikaku
"It's his punishment for sleeping in class." Choji
"Naruto" Yoshino said with a scary expression
Naruto laughed nervously.
Naruto got hit on the head a couple of times.
"Uncle Shikaku can you tell me everything you know about the first Hokage." Naruto said while rubbing his head
"If you want to know about the first Hokage. You should ask lord third. He was the student of lord first." Shikaku
"So the old man was the student of the first Hokage. Damn that old man is ancient" Naruto
Yoshino scolded Naruto for calling Hiruzen old man.
Naruto told her it was fine considering the old man didn't have a problem with it.
"Naruto why did you close your eyes during the fight with Kiba" Shikamaru
"That was just to give Kiba a handicap." Naruto
Knowing that it was a lie Shikamaru didn't press him for answers.
After a while Naruto and Choji left.
Naruto went straight to Hiruzen's office.
"Oh Naruto-kun what brings you here." Naruto
"Old man I heard you were the student of the first Hokage. I was wondering if you could me about him." Naruto
"Why would he want to know about sensei" Hiruzen wondered
"May I ask why you want to know about Hashirama-Sensei" Hiruzen
"Iruka-Sensei told me I had to do some research on him. Tomorrow I have to report everything I learned about the first Hokage to him and the class." Naruto
"I see. Why don't you take a seat. This is gonna take a while." Hiruzen
Hiruzen told Naruto almost everything about Hashirama. He almost let it slip that they were distant relatives.
"Thanks for the help old man." Naruto
"No problem. I enjoyed our talk." Hiruzen smiled
Their conversation was great distraction from his paperwork.
Naruto got up to leave.
"Naruto if you have any other questions or if something is bothering. Don't be afraid to come see me." Hiruzen
"Sure old man." Naruto smiled
Later
Naruto was having dinner at the Nara's.
"So how did it go with Lord Third." Shikaku
"It went great. I will be able to give my report just fine" Naruto
"From on now make sure to pay attention in class or else." Yoshino said with a scary face
"Yes mam" Naruto
With Kiba
He was staring at the food his sister Hana had made.
Kiba's mother arrived back from a mission. She noticed Kiba looked dejected.
"What's wrong kiddo." Tsume
"Poor Kiba got ass handed to him by his classmate." Hana said mockingly
"Shut up." Kiba
"You are sulking just because you lost a fight. " Tsume
"It would be one thing if I lost to Sasuke but to lose against someone like Naruto." Kiba said as he clenched his fist
Tsume chuckled.
"You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. That kid's potential is higher than yours.'' Tsume
"That lazy guy has more potential than me" Kiba said skeptical
"His parents were quite powerful ninja.
If the kid had a good work ethic I could see him surpassing them." Tsume
"Well you heard mom. He's way outta your league. So don't think of fighting him again." Hana
"I will show you both. I will beat Naruto and prove you wrong." Kiba
"Is that so. Then you wouldn't mind me upping the difficulty of your training." Tsume said with with a scary smile
"Fuck" Kiba thought
Next day
OK Naruto the floors yours" Iruka
"Hashirama Senju. Hashirama was a leader, a father, a brother,a grandfather and a mentor." Naruto said sadly
"Is this a funeral or something." A random kid said
Shikamaru deadpan at this.
"Naruto!" Iruka
Naruto changed his tone.
"Hashirama Senju is one of the most powerful ninja to ever live. Known to be the legendary First Hokage of Konoha, Hashirama earned himself the title of God of Shinobi. He was tremendously powerful and an exceptionally rare ninja, being the only one capable of using Wood Release. Hashirama sought peace for the shinobi world, and to that end founded Konohagakure with his clan, his childhood friend and rival: Madara Uchiha and his clan.
When Sasuke heard he's clan name. He paid attention to Naruto.
Hashirama was an excitable man with a boisterous personality. He loved meeting new people, having friendly competitions, and gambling. Headstrong and often impulsive, it fell to others - such as his brother, Tobirama - to be more responsible or realistic about things that Hashirama had gotten carried away with.
Despite the first impression he may given, Hashirama was capable of being serious when it came to matters that were important to him. He spent years opposing the practice of sending children to war and dreamed of a shinobi system where a child could be around others their age, never needing to "grow up" prematurely on the battlefield. Sadly that isn't the case." Naruto
Iruka looked over his students. It pained him knowing that his students would be send out into the cruel ninja world.
Naruto continued. "Hashirama became very devoted to Konoha upon its foundation, as it was the realisation of his dream for peaceful childhoods. He wanted the rest of the village to cherish what Konoha represented just as much as he did, encouraging them to regard every villager as part of one large family that should always look out for each other. As Hokage, his job was to protect that family at all costs, even if that cost was his life. This philosophy, known as the "Will of Fire", would become a cornerstone of Konoha teachings for decades after his death." Naruto said before fake yawning
As Iruka saw Naruto yawn he thought that the boy was tired from the research he did.
"That's enough you can go to your seat" Iruka
"Ok Sensei." Naruto
When Naruto got to his desk. He layed his head on the table facing forward. Naruto wanted to take a nap but remembered he promised Yoshino he would pay attention in class.
With Onoki
Onoki had just finished reading the report of his spies.
"So he's finally showing glimpses of his potential." Onoki said referring to Naruto beating Kiba
"If that Uzumaki brat is allowed to live. He will be a threat to us. Not just Iwa but all the nations" Onoki
"Dad aren't you overthinking things. Based on the reports the kid doesn't have any interest in becoming a ninja."Kitsuchi
"The brat has no choice in the matter he will become a ninja whether he likes it or not. As Konoha's jinchuriki he won't be able to live a peaceful life." Ohnoki
"So before he can fulfill his potential ." Kitsutchi
"We"ll kill him" Ohnoki said sternly
