Ten years ago, that's when my life changed. We didn't see any other option and I was the one who had to do it, as regrettable as it was. I had to kill those closest to me... we had to do it in order to protect the world from suffering, but now I'm the only one left and I'm suffering from their loss. I was mocked by the very thing I had to kill my friends and family for as if my work had been for nothing.

Histoire, the Oracle of Planeptune, was there to help me run the now unified Planeptune. She helped me to confront the populace on their missing Goddesses using the cover story that they had been killed in the final battle with the threat plaguing the land and that they wished for me to rule in their place until a new CPU for their nation appeared. While there was some truth to this statement, it wasn't entirely true and it pained me whenever it was brought up because I, of all people, should know it isn't true. The Oracles of the former nations stayed stationed at their Basilicoms and tried to run their nations from there while working with me to try rebuilding all the nations the best we could from the damage ten years ago.

The Makers, those who helped the Goddesses to produce games and even helped in events from time to time, set aside any past differences or disagreements and formed the Maker's Union at my request, an organization that was meant to be a way to stimulate the economy and attempt to restore it to how it once was but it caused development of games to slow and even caused issues in their development as many Makers weren't sure how to make games that were being requested of them and caused more complaints than I had expected. The Maker's Union now is mostly an unstable group of leaders as all but a small handful of the Makers returned to making their own games the way they had before the Union had been created.

The Citizen's Party had been created as a reform party in Leanbox 3 years after the CPU of Leanbox vanished. Their primary demand was the total transfer of power from the Leanbox Basilicom to the people of Leanbox. We had settled on a compromise in which local power was in the hands of the people who had set up an election system to govern local areas, however power over the nation as a whole was still in the hands of the Basilicom. The Citizen's Party had originally seemed like an extremist group to Histoire due to how vocal they were, however the compromise was somewhat easy to settle on and they became much less vocal after the compromise happened, however a few members still wanted more power for the people but they did not act on it. The party's leader was a calm and collected woman named Rei Ryghts, however she quickly becomes nervous at some things. Ms Ryghts was the primary one I spoke to in negotiating the compromise, she's a reasonable woman who was able to accept a middle ground for Leanbox however she did turn into a nervous wreck after the conference was over.

In the ten years that have passed since that fateful day, Gamindustri has become nearly unrecognizable to what it once was. I had said I would work with the Oracles until a new CPU was created by the people to rule their nation, however no new CPU or Candidates had been created and no Shift Period, as Histoire called the time in which a new leader or CPU is brought into power in a nation, has occurred. It's possible that the people of Gamindustri feared what could happen to a new CPU who doesn't know what they are doing and are afraid of what would happen if a human was put in power. What is the future of Gamindustri... and what is this evil presence I feel?
