Nighttime
It was a peaceful night in Tarabiscoville, everyone is in their bed sleeping peacefully, but when it's nighttime, trouble comes, but this story is about a certain girl, one that has a fondness for owls, this story is about a girl named Owlette.
In the sky, Owlette is patrolling for any trouble that is gonna happen as she was thinking of how strong the others have gotten while she hasn't gotten as strong as them, her thoughts were then interrupted when she saw something happening at the museum and used owl eyes to get a better look to see it was Night Ninja running out of the museum with four of his Ninjalinos slowing following their leader while holding a big book that was almost as big as one of the Ninjalinos, Owlette landed on the ground on the sidewalk across from the entrance of the museum and sneaked over to one of the side of the entrance to hear what Night Ninja is saying.
"Come on! We have to get out of here before the PJ Pests get here." (one of the Ninjalinos spoke to him about the book being really heavy.) "oh come on, it can't be that heavy" (walks over and places his hands under the book, he lifts it with all his might and struggles with his Ninjalinos to see they were right.) "nevermind! This book is really heavy!" (he and his Ninjalinos dropped the book on the ground, but had his foot under the book and screamed in pain until the Ninjalinos lifted the book up a bit for him to pull his foot out and hold it in pain as the Ninjalinos dropped the book back down.) "Ow! Ow! Ow! The cover is made of metal! How can a book be so heavy and have a metal cover!?" Night Ninja asked in pain
When Owlette saw the book was now out of their grasp, she was about to run towards them only to run into something and fell to the ground as the thing she ran into turned visible revealing to be the Gekko Mobile with Gekko and Ice Cub jumping out of it to confront Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos, Owlette walked out from the side of the Gekko Mobile regaining her balance, she saw Gekko and Ice Cub have started tossing their shields and snowballs at Night Ninja and the Ninjalinos as they were throwing their sticky splats trying to get the two stuck.
"Hang on, guys! I'm..." (didn't get the chance to join when she got hit by a sticky splat getting her stuck on the Gekko Mobile.) "hey!" Owlette shouted
Owlette then tried to get the sticky splat off, but saw it was too sticky, just then, she saw Night Ninja and the Ninjalinos flee as Gekko and Ice Cub high five each other, this gave Owlette the chance to call out to Gekko and Ice Cub to help her, but they were too busy congratulating each other and talking about what Night Ninja was trying to steal.
"Guess this book was too heavy for Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos to steal." Ice Cub said
"May as well put it back in the museum, don't want any of the other villains to steal it." (uses his Super Gekko Muscles to lift the book into his hands as he struggled with it a bit.) "Wow, it's really heavy, even for my Super Gekko Muscles. How is that even possible?" Gekko asked
"Not sure, maybe it's from an unknown species, Newton might be able to help us with figuring out what it is." Ice Cub said
Owlette saw they were heading back into the museum to return the book, realizing they didn't hear her and became sad from not being with them. Unknown to her, a wingless moth was watching from the roof of the museum as it knew something.
Daytime
It was the middle of the day as Connor, Amaya, Greg, Newton and Ivan were in the main hallway seeing the book Night Ninja tried to steal last night as they were confused about it.
"I have to say, this book is quite the mystery, but I don't know what it's about, we can't look at it cause it's meant to be seen, not read" Newton said
"It's that special?" Ivan asked
"Hard to say" Connor said
"From the looks of it, maybe it's an ancient book from an unknown civilization" Newton said
"Well if…" Amaya didn't get to say (gets interrupted by Greg.)
"If it's from something like that, we have to keep the nighttime villains from stealing it, even if it's really heavy" Greg said
"That's what…" Amaya didn't get to say
"We'll have to split into teams to make sure the nighttime villains don't try and get in" Ivan said
"Guys…" Amaya didn't get to say
"Looks like we have a mission, PJ Masks we're on our way…" Connor started (holds out his fist for Greg, Ivan and Newton to hold theirs against his without knowing they weren't letting Amaya join.)
"Into the night to save the day!" Connor, Greg, Newton and Ivan said
Amaya's face saddened from seeing them do the hero chant without her, she then looked at the book wondering what it could be.
Nighttime
Catboy, Owlette, Gekko, Newton Star and Ice Cub have gotten to the main hallway where the mysterious book is displayed to see none of the villains have tried to steal it yet, Owlette was about to tell the others of her idea only for Catboy to step forward.
"Alright team, let's split up and find any nighttime villain that is planning to steal the book, Newton, you'll look in the library, Ice Cub, you'll check out the moon exhibit, Gekko, you got the dinosaur exhibit, I'll look in the egyptian exhibit, let's go!" Catboy said (about to head to the Egyptian exhibit as the others went to the exhibits their to look in until Owlette grabs him by the wrist, stopping him.)
"Catboy, can we talk?" Owlette asked
"Oh, Owlette, didn't see you there, when did you get here?" Catboy asked
"I was with you the whole time! Even in the daytime when we saw the book on display!" Owlette shouted (points to the book trying to tell him she was with him and the others, but he didn't listen.)
"I love to play games, but we have a mission right now, why don't you stay in here and protect the book in case one of the villains get through the exhibits we're looking in" Catboy said
Owlette tried to stop Catboy, but failed to as she saw him head to the egyptian exhibit, she then walked over to the book in a gloomy look from the others not noticing her until her look changed from seeing a small glow and looked up to see it was coming from the book as it showed an owl on it that is the same as the one on her chest making her shocked from what she saw, but the moment was interrupted when she heard the front doors of the museum click and ran behind a pillar to hide from who is breaking into the museum, but when she heard the doors open, she peeked around the pillar only to see three masked adults walking in making her confused as she moved around the pillar to stay out of their sight, she saw they were walking towards the book and wondered why adults were coming into the museum instead of the usual nighttime villains she and the others face, she then started to hear the adults talking.
"Alright boys, this is the book we're looking for." the red masked adult said
"Oh man, a simple book for a bunch of money, how stupid can our buyer be?" the blue asked
"You idiot, the buyer said the book was so heavy, it took the strongest men to carry it here, it lasted a week, and the cover is fully made of metal." the red masked adult said
"Didn't it glow while we were outside though?" the green masked adult asked
"I've been wondering that myself." the blue masked adult said
"If it did glow, it must be more ancient than we thought, that's why the buyer wants it, us bandits got ourselves a primo buyer!" (lets out a maniacal laugh as the other two bandits smile about the pay they're gonna get, but stops when they hear Owlette gasp with fright and look to see where it came from without knowing Owlette is still behind the pillar.) "What was that?" the Red Bandit asked
"I'll check it out." the Blue Bandit said (starts looking around.)
"Maybe the building is starting to settle." the Green Bandit said
"Why would a building gasp!?" the Red Bandit asked in anger
"I live in a strange neighborhood" the Green Bandit said
Just as Owlette peeked out from behind the pillar a bit, she saw the Blue Bandit pull out a dagger which caused her to flop back behind the pillar and quietly used her Super Owl Wings to fly above their eyesight as the Blue Bandit came over and looked behind the pillar, Owlette kept quiet as the Blue Bandit was below her, she was gonna slowly fly away, but stopped when she noticed a drop of sweat was going down her face until it fell off of her chin and landed on the Blue Bandit's gloved hand which caused the Blue Bandit to look at it in confusion only to look up in surprise from seeing Owlette above and began to laugh from seeing her, but Owlette just got made and used Super Owl Wind to blow the Blue Bandit into the wall behind him, but that just made him mad as he threw his dagger at Owlette who just flew out of the way for it bounce off the pillar and land on the floor for the Blue Bandit to pick it up and hold it towards Owlette who became scared from it.
"Once Blue gets back from…" (sees Owlette fly by fast, surprising him and the Green Bandit.) "what the!?" the Red Bandit asked in fright
"Was that a kid?" the Green Bandit asked
"You two get the book! I'll handle the little owl!" the Blue Bandit shouted (chases after Owlette.)
The Red and Green Bandits began to lift the book with all their might as the Blue Bandit was chasing Owlette as she was shooting her owl feathers at the bandit trying to slow him down, but it didn't work, Owlette kept flying away until she almost flew into a pillar and came up with an idea, she waited for the Blue Bandit to get real close and flew out of the way for the bandit to slam head first into the pillar knocking him out, the other two bandits dropped the book from seeing what happened as they looked to the podium where the book was to see Owlette standing on top of it.
"You two wanna give it a go?" Owlette asked
"Why you!" the Red Bandit shouted (lunges at Owlette only to miss when she flew out of the way and landed on the ground behind the podium.)
"I'm not letting you get away" (puts his hands behind his back and pulls out a pair of swords.) "I won't go easy on you." the Green Bandit said
"Uh oh." Owlette said
The Green Bandit began swinging his swords around trying to slash them at Owlette, but she dodge each attack as she noticed she was getting close to the unconscious Blue Bandit on the ground, once the Green Bandit charged forward, Owlette stepped to the side and held her foot out to trip the Green Bandit causing him to fall onto the Blue Bandit and dropping his swords. Owlette then walked over to the book as it began to glow showing the same owl on it and wondered what it could be, but her thoughts were interrupted when the doors slammed open two police officer to run into the building guns at the ready as the chief walked in to see the problem, but when he looked between Owlette and the two bandits on the ground, he saw she was a hero and saluted Owlette which made her confused until the chief walked over to explain.
"I know this is confusing, but I know a hero when I see one, and you kid, your the legendary kind" the Police Chief said
"Legendary? These guys were my first adult villains, those three were…" Owlette didn't finish
"Correction, there are only two." a Police Officer said
"I knew I forgot one of them." Owlette said
"That you did" (stands up from behind the podium and holds out a gun, pointing it at Owlette.) "I suggest you all stay where you are." the Red Bandit said
"Don't think you'll get away with this, we've been after you bandits for years and the Owlarion Princess came and stopped two of you without any trouble." the Police Chief said (places his hand on Owlette's shoulder as she was shocked from what she heard.)
"Really? Then it seems once the boys wake up, we'll be getting extra for bringing the kid to the buyer, he requested us to bring the book to him, and now…" the Red Bandit didn't finish
The Red Bandit didn't finish what he was saying when something hit him on the head from behind, after the bandit fell to the ground unconscious, the one that knocked him out revealed to be a moth on the podium, older than the other ones but has no wings. Owlette was surprised to see something so small be so tough as she saw the moth jump down from the podium and walks out of the museum from the front doors, Owlette tried to follow the moth, but when she got outside, she saw the moth was nowhere in sight as she wondered how tough the moth is, her thoughts were then interrupted again when she heard the chief and officers slowly walking over as they struggled to carry the book until they stopped near her and set the book down on one of its edges.
"Did well kid, stopped the Color Bandits and saw an Elder Moth after the last 900 years." the Police Chief said
"900 years?" Owlette asked
"Yeah, there were many legends in Tarabiscoville, but it's been so long since they were last seen, and now their back, that must mean the great disaster is coming back." the Police Chief said
"GREAT DISASTER!?" (yells in panic causing the officers to drop the book, accidentally dropping it on the chief's foot making him hold it in pain trying to hold back his scream.) "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to…" Owlette didn't finish (but when she picked up the book, she was shocked to see she was able to hold it without any help.)
"Looks like your the one to stop the great disaster, every thousand years, the great disaster comes and the Owlarions rise to fight it, and every thousand years, the great disaster is always defeated, and now it's getting close to that moment again" the Police Chief said
"But how am I gonna…" Owlette didn't finish (sees the book glowing again as she wonders about it.)
"The book, it's glowing" another Police Officer said
"That because she's the one it's looking for" the Police Chief said
Owlette looked at the book with shock and confusion wondering why she's the one to stop it, but was about to return the book to where it is until the chief placed a hand on her shoulder to reassure her.
"It's best if you take the book with you" the Police Chief said
"But what am I gonna tell the others if they find out?" Owlette asked
"Don't worry kid, when they come to the museum in the day, I'll let everyone know about it, go home and get some rest, you'll need your strength for when you come across the trials of the guardians of the Owlarions." the Police Chief said
Owlette looked back at the book as she was curious about what is in it. After breathing deeply a bit, she held the book in her arms tight and flew off into the night sky back home. On the roof of the museum, Catboy had heard everything at the entrance and was shocked about it.
"Owlarion?" Catboy asked
