Chapter 1: Back In Black

The world is in chaos, the world's strongest heroes, the Justice League are captured and currently in prison. Betrayed by one they thought their ally and friend, Hawkgril people, the Thanagarian had come to earth.

They promised to help humanity in their next stage of evolution, but it was a lie and now it seems they have other plans that have nothing to do with helping humanity. The hawk people now roam the skies and streets with the soldiers and tanks, enforcing a curfew on the people of earth.

The remaining heroes that tried to fight against the hawks are either captured or in hiding. The villains are currently in hiding, and the only people that can give hope to the world are chained up like criminals. The protectors are gone, but sometimes the world needs more than ordinary protectors and heroes. Sometimes it needs something more...lethal.

"Now are you ready to talk?" The man asked two Thanagarian soldiers, both of them had their wings removed forcefully and painfully. Both of them were beaten and bloody, with blood dripping down from their backs. They shivered on the stone cold concrete floor as they looked at their torture. The man was in the darkness and they were in the light.

"We…We..We…D-Don't-"

"Stop right there. I know you know since the third member of your group knew. I know where the League is, what I want to know is what you are really building. You have two choices here, friends. Tell me what I want to know or I get it the same way I got the other information from your friend." The two soldiers' skin turned pale when they heard that, he made them watch what he did to the third member of their group and it was horrifying.

"FYI, he didn't taste good. But my other half is looking to try again with you two." The man rose up from his seat and the men screamed for their lives as he came closer to them.

It seems that they didn't want to talk and he had already wasted enough time with this interrogation. Terrifying screams could soon be heard followed by a horrifying and animalistic roar. When the screams ended the man opened the door stepping out of the basement, arriving up the stairs he saw someone standing in front of him.

"Did you get it?" A female voice spoke to him and the man nodded his head as they walked to the room with various monitor screens. It had various news stations and all of them were reporting the same thing. The Justice League Captured.

"So are you really going to do it? You know that they are going to have questions and that means that you're going to have to face her." The woman recalled making the man roll his eyes, he already knew about what was going to happen and he had planned for it.

"I'll deal with that issue when I get there, but for now we need to save them." The man spoke as he turned to leave. The woman spoke one last time before getting into the seat in front of the control panel.

"You need my help or am I just here to watch?" She asked him and the man gave her a simple answer as he opened the door.

"Do what you want, but in all honesty we can handle this." Soon the man's body was covered in black substance. His whole body was covered from head to toe with a white spider symbol appearing on chest and back. Razor sharp fangs were in mouth, his body was the size of a hulking creature and a long tendril-like tongue was hanging from his mouth.

"It's time to save the Justice League."The man left jumping into the sky leaving the woman in the room. She grabbed an ear piece and put it in her, she soon began typing on the keyboard.

"God help us all."

A ship came into the hangar of the larger prison ship that held the League, once it landed the ramp came down and a group of soldiers exited it. They were having a conversation about their next assignment, they came to refuel their ship while they were on break. Unknown to them they had a passenger on it, one that zipped himself to the ceiling.

Looking around he saw the many soldiers around the ship, he was going to need to do this quickly and quietly. Crawling on the ceiling like a spider he found something that was very universal, an air vent. Changing his size and shrinking down from his hulkish build, the black substance changed into something akin to a black ops gear with the white spider still on the chest.

Meanwhile the Justice League was being held prisoner, a guard was walking by looking at each member of the league in a cell that was built to contain them. Superman in a red sun prison cell with his arm chained, Martian Manhunter in a heated cell, Batman was chained without his utility belt, Flash had his arms and legs strapped down preventing movement, Wonder Woman was tied to a pole thanks her lasso, and Green Lantern was just sitting in his cell. They took his power ring and without it he was powerless, but right now the man was dealing with a broken heart.

The woman that he loved, Shayera Hol, Hawkgirl had betrayed him and broken his heart. Choosing her betrothed, a man that she was promised to in her world. Now here he was sitting in a cell, but help was on the way. When the guard passed by Diana she glared at him with hate, she was not chained she would have that man's throat around her hand.

The male Thanagarian just smirked at her, but that smirk did not last as the man felt something grab him. He looked at shoulders and saw some kind of white substance and before he knew it he was pulled up. Diana's eyes widened when she saw this and they got even bigger when the man suddenly screamed for his life.

"AAAHHH!" The soldier screamed alerting the League, there was someone here with them and if they were not on their side then they would be helpless.

There was silence before the sound of the soldier crashing on the steel floor echoed throughout the cell hall. Diana and the others could see what attacked him, but whatever it was had hurt him very badly.

"Time to get you all out here." A voice spoke to them and soon a man landed on the ground, his feet touching the ground with a deadly silence that would make even Batman proud. There the League saw their supposed savior, it was a man dressed in all black with a white spider on his chest, he had white squares on the back of his hands, his lenses pure black with a white outline, and he carried two pistols at his side with a black utility belt.

"Hope you enjoyed the rest, cause it's time to move. It won't be long before they check on bird man here." The man spoke to them as he went to the console that controlled their cells. Inputting the right commands was easy since he knew how to read them and understand much thanks to his prisoners. With a final tap on the console all the cells doors were opened with their chains being unlocked.

All the members of the league walked out their cells while their mysterious savior went to free Diana from her bonds. Once done he handed her lasso, Diana took it from his hands and looked at him.

"You alright?" The man asked with a gentle and caring tone, Diana nodded her head. There was something familiar about this man, but she did not know what it was. For now she would have to bury it and focus on the invasion.

"Good, cause the war is not over yet and we need an amazon." The man told her as he walked out of her cell, he ignored the looks from the rest of the league and went to the wall where he placed a device on it. The device was a bomb that was going to blow a hole and create their escape.

"Uh…Who are you?" Flash asked the obvious question, but didn't get an answer as the bomb created their exit. The wind soon felt the League and the alarms sounded. The lights went red and wouldn't be long before the guards arrived.

"You have two choices, you can leave and save the world, and I'll tell you my identity later. Or we can stay and fight the army that's coming."

"Let's go." Batman told them he wouldn't admit but the stranger was right. They needed to get out of here and they were nowhere near ready for a fight. Superman grabbed Flash, while J'onzz grabbed Green Lantern, and Diana held onto Batman. All the heroes left the stranger without even asking him for a ride.

"Save them and they don't even say thank you." He spoke aloud. "I know right." The man in black jumped from the ship and sky dived down. As he began his descent the man closed his fist and fired webbing into the sky. Soon the webbing began to take shape as a parachute.

The heroes had landed on the ground and were soon joined by the stranger that saved them. "The streets are not safe and are very hot with our alien visitors. What do we do?"

"Quick in here." Batman ordered them just as a tank was passing by the alleyway. The heroes and the stranger were now inside an old thrift store that was filled with clothes. The stranger that saved them went to the windows and looked outside, he could see the soldiers patrolling the streets. They knew that the League is missing and give or take they might now know that they have help.

"You're a soldier." Batman accused the stranger, his detective mind went to work the moment he saw this man. The way he moved, it was military like. Whoever this man was he was trained and trained very well.

"Correct, I served and no the government didn't send me." Green Lantern got curious now and asked what division he was part of.

"What division did you serve in?"

"Delta Force." Hearing that made Green Lantern whistle in admiration and respect. In the army Delta Force are the baddest of the bad. Men and women that can pull the most impossible missions.

"Hoo-ah," Green Lantern proclaimed and it was quickly followed up by the soldier.

"Hoo-ah, marine. Also boy scout, stop trying to peek. You won't find anything." All eyes turned to Superman whose eyes were saucers, he was trying to use his X-ray vision to see under his mask, but something was blocking him and that thing was his costume.

"Your…Your costume, it's alive."

"What?" Flash asked with confusion now looking at the stranger again, he didn't see anything out of the ordinary outside of the badass costume.

"What do you mean?" Batman demanded to know as he glared at the stranger who now looked at members of the League.

"They're cells. Multiple cells surrounding his costume, whatever it is…it's alive."

"Superman speaks the truth, I cannot read his mind. Something is blocking me." Martian Manhunter spoke next as all the Leaguers were now guard making the man roll his eyes underneath his mask.

"That might be my partner doing that J'onzz and a little bit of me. I do have mental blocks. As for Batman I will gladly answer all of your questions when we win this war. So can we get a move on."

"And how are we going to do that?" Flash asked the man and he turned to look at all the clothes.

"They're looking for the Justice League, but not the people under the mask." The group widened their eyes at his ludicrous idea. The idea itself was not crazy, but the crazy part is thinking that they were revealing their identities to this random stranger.

"Ok, hold on. We thank you for saving us and all that, but I think you're kinda pushing it here. The secret identity is secret for a–"

"Wally West, Clark Kent, and Bruce Wayne." The store was silent, nothing was heard except for footsteps and rolling tanks outside. This man knew who they were, Wally, Clark are one thing, but Bruce is a different situation. Each member of the League that knew who he was knew how secretive he was about his identity. Only three really knew who was under the Batman's mask and that was J'onzz, Clark, and Diana.

"Can we get moving now?" The man asked them knowing that they didn't have much time.

"Who are you?" Batman's tone was dangerous and burned a hole into the man with his glare. The stranger only sighed and put his hand on his head in exhaustion, he should have seen this coming. It was obvious that this was going to happen, but he hoped that it would be after the war over, but oh well.

"Fine, if it gets us outta this store faster then by all means I will tell who I am, but questions come after the world is saved. Besides, it's only fair that you know I am." The man stated as everyone saw what Superman meant by the costume being alive. The mask on the man removed itself like some parasitic organism and revealed his face making all of their eyes widen.

"Steve!" Steve Trevor, the man who found paradise and brought it back home with him in the form of Wonder Woman. Diana's eyes were saucers, Steve was the last person that she expected to be under the mask. She has not seen him since…since their break up. Now it all makes sense, the familiar that she felt when he saved her, it was him. The first man she has ever loved.

"Hey angel, good to see you." Steve greeted with the same smile that she had been accustomed to seeing.

The rest of the League was still in shock for many reasons. One was because Steve knew their secrets and it seems he had some of his own. Steve Trevor was their liaison with the government, something that was agreed by the seven of them. Diana trusted him and Batman ran a thorough extensive background check, the check can back positive, but this was one of the rare times that Batman was wrong and surprised.

During those days Steve helped out the League, but something happened. An enemy of the League captured Steve and tortured him, nearly killing him. Diana moved heaven and earth to find him and eventually the League did and stopped the criminal. In the aftermath however Diana had ended her relationship with Steve, she couldn't bear the thought of her being the reason why Steve was killed and taken from his family. So she ended things, it wasn't long after that Steve went into a recovery process and was he was never heard from again until now.

"How–" Steve quickly Diana off and got right back to business.

"I will give you all the answers you want later, but right now we have a war to win. We need a base where we can re-group. There's no way to get the Watchtower on earth, the Fortress is too far and no doubt guarded from the outside, which only leaves the Batcave in Gotham." All eyes turned to Batman, that was his base and it was right to let them in.

"How far is Gotham?" Batman asked Trevor.

"Couple miles, but we won't make it in our costumes. So I suggest you all get changed." Trevor suggested once again as he tossed Flash a jacket. The jacket landed on his face which made him glare at Trevor.

"What about you? Doesn't seem like you're in a rush." Trevor smirked at Wally, he always set himself up for a comeback.

The League Clark meant by the costume being alive for Trevor's entire costume shifted into something else. The black substance morphed from body armor into actual black clothing. Now Steve was wearing black pants, with black boots, a black shirt, over his shirt was black long sleeve cardigan, and around his neck was a dog tag.

"You were saying." Flash was gobsmacked and looked at the manhunter only for him to shift into a human man. The speedster just mumbled show offs as he took pants to the face from Batman. While the League got dressed into civilian clothes Steve looked at his new clothes with a smile, very impressed from what he was looking at.

"Not bad," He heard him whisper, Superman didn't understand, but it seemed like Trevor was speaking to the…thing that was on him. Not only it seems like that this is not some one time thing, Steve knew substance. This was just one of many questions that the man of steel had for the soldier. His thoughts were cut short when Steve looked at him through the mirror.

After a short moment the League was dressed in their civilian clothes. "We need to split up, less likely to get caught that way. Clark go with J'onzz, Wally and John pair up, and I'll go with Bruce and Diana." All eyes turned to Batman, usually he was the one giving out strategic orders, so having Steve do it was a new experience for them all. Bruce just nodded his head, honestly he was going to do the same.

"Good, then we'll see each other at the Batcave. Also try not to get captured again, it was a pain to locate you guys." That brought a question that has been bugging Wally since Steve saved back on the ship.

"How did you find us?" Wally asked and then answered that he left him all the more confused.

"I ate a Thanagarians' brain." Steve opened the door and walked out the store leaving all occupants confused, horrified, and disturbed.

"I'm joking…mostly." Steve whispered the last part, but Superman caught it. He just added to the list of many questions. The League including Trevor all were outside, all of them looked at each other and split up. Clark, Wally, J'onzz, and John all went their separate ways leaving the soldier, bat, and amazon.

The trio walked the streets doing their best to avoid patrols, Steve took the front while Diana and Bruce were behind him. Bruce turned his head to Diana to see that she was glaring a hole at Steve, but her eyes were also on his clothing. Whatever it was it gave Steve tremendous abilities, coupled with his own skill it only makes sense since how he was able to break them out. Question is what it is.

"You didn't know." Diana shook her head, she was not in a talkative mood right now. She feels like her trust was betrayed by someone she trusts and she was going to get answers when all of this was done, and she won't need the lasso to get them.

"Did you have this…thing during our time together?" There was a shift in Steve clothing, one could account towards the wind, but both heroes knew that wasn't the case.

"No, I had this long before I met you. For clarifications when we were together…my partner and I were only together for missions only. We just now made our bond official and there is no reason for you to be mad at my ex. We went our separate ways." Steve was talking to the suit and it listened, it would not direct its rage at Diana…for now at least.

"Then when did you do to get it?" Bruce asked, making Steve sigh, they really wanted to do this now.

"Look like I said I will answer all–" Steve's words were cut short when a familiar sting crashed his mind. Danger was here.

"We got company ahead of us and behind us." Batman and Diana turned to see the Thanagarians and Steve saw them coming ahead. They were wedged in and trapped.

"We're trapped." Bruce said and Steve knew that it was true. There was no way out of their situation without starting a fight. Which only left one solution.

"I got an idea. Wait for my signal. AH!" Steve screamed as hunched over holding his stomach. Bruce and Diana didn't know what he was doing, but decided to play along.

"Somebody help, my friend is not feeling well. I think there is something wrong." Bruce called out to the Thanagarians. Diana tried to comfort him just as the soldier arrived.

"What is going on?" The soldier demanded to know as he walked to the hunched over Trevor.

"My…boyfriend. He was doing fine and then just ended up in pain. Please help him." Diana cried like damsel in distress, making the soldier move her out the way. He grabbed Steve's arm and pulled him up to look at his face.

"What's wrong with you human?"

"I…I feel…I feel…Hungry!" Steve's voice got deeper and monstrous, and before the soldier knew it he was being held up by the throat. Bruce and Diana soon widened their eyes as they saw Steve be covered by the black substance from head to toe, but this time it didn't turn into the black ops armor. No, this form was much different than the one they originally saw.

Now Steve was this hulking creature that stood seven feet tall with a massive frame, claws for nails, razor sharp fangs that dripped saliva, pure white jagged eyes, a large white spider on its chest and back, and long tendril-like tongue that licked the soldier's face.

"We told you, we're hungry."The voice didn't even sound like Steve, it honestly sounded like it belonged to a monster fitting the scene right now. The creature opened its mouth to take a bite out of the soldier only for someone to scream.

"AAAHHH!" A woman screamed seeing the creature, making it throw the soldier to the side like a child. The creature then turned to face the other soldiers that were gathering to comfort him and roared at them.

*RAAAAWR*More teeth were shown when the creature opened its mouth, it's teeth had teeth and the soldiers couldn't believe it. Those fangs looked like they ripped through their flesh like high powered laser through cheap metal.

"C-Call for backup. Call for fucking backup!" Steve launched himself at the soldiers and began to destroy them. Bruce took this as the signal and reminded Diana that they have to go.

"We need to move." Bruce grabbed her to help usher her own all while she looked at the scene Steve caused. This form, this thing, was destroying the Thanagarians. Sending them flying into cars and walls, even in the air Steve would grab them with tendrils coming from his body.

After slamming one into the ground, he held onto him and threw into a group of soldiers.'They're gone.'Steve heard the voice speak to him, his distraction worked and Bruce and Diana are out of here.

Now it was his turn to get out of danger. Leaping into the sky he landed on the side of a building. He began to climb up with tremendous speed until he reached the top. From there he leapt into the night sky, leaving the bodies of Hawkgirl's people in the streets.

Much Time Later

Wally and John had arrived in front of Wayne Mansion; they didn't know if the others were here or not, but they hoped so. Wally rang the doorbell, pressing his finger on the button. Within moments the door was answered by a butler, surprising Flash.

"Uh…Is Bruce Wayne here?"

"Master Bruce has been expecting you. Come in." Alfred opened the door wider to allow the two superheroes into the large mansion. As they walked through the mansion Flash and Lanter were soon led to the wall clock.

The butler soon opened by moving the hands to the time of Bruce Wayne's death. When the hands were on the correct time clock opened allowing for entrance into the Batcave.

"The others will be waiting for you at the end of steps."

"Thanks jeeves." Flash complimented as did Lantern by nodding his head. Both of them soon headed down the steps where they could hear voices.

"Things are not looking good Bruce. The heroes are either locked up or in hiding and the villains are well…cowardly hiding. I have the titans coordinating with other heroes on plans and right now we are awaiting your next move." Bruce nodded his head to Nightwings words.

Dick Grayson, the first robin and his first son. Things have not always been positive, especially in recent years, but he understood that he was growing up and needed to leave the nest. Now he leads a team called the Titans and protects Gotham sister city Bludhaven. Bruce will never be able to say it, but he is proud of the man that his son is becoming and he did miss talking to him.

"Robin and Batgirl."

"Here with me. They arrived in Bludhaven the moment news got out that you guys were captured. Speaking of which, how did you guys get out?"

"Our old liaison." Nightwing's eyes caught surprise when he heard that.

"Diana's ex. How did he manage that? I mean I know he's a good soldier, but an army of alien soldiers seems a bit above his pay grade."

"We're still trying to figure that out. For now we are working with him in trying to stop the invasion. Keep your titans on standby if things get loud." Nightwing nodded his head.
"Nightwing out." Bruce turned around when he saw his symbol appear on the screen. He saw Lantern and Flash walk up to join himself and the others, Flash eyes scanning the entire cave and being amazed by trophies that Batman had amassed through his years of crime fighting. Plus the car was totally awesome in his eyes.

"Nice pad." Clark just huffed and whispered that the fortress was better. Bruce however gave a rare smile knowing that he one upped the boy scout.

"I don't see our savior here." John mentioned looking at the group that he was supposed to be with.

"We had company on our way here. He distracted them while we escaped."

"So do we wait for him to come, does he even know how to get into this place?" Wally asked the group.

"If knows our identities then it's highly likely that he knows about the cave. For now we can't wait for him to join us. We have to stop the Thanagarians, starting with whatever their building."

"Before we do anything we have to know what it is." Clark said and the next voice that appeared shocked them all.

"I can help with that." All of them turned their heads to the direction of the voice and saw someone that they did not expect to see. There coming out of the darkness was none other than Hawkgirl, the one who betrayed them.

"Didn't expect to see me." Shayera could see that she was right based on their faces, but even Shayera was caught off guard when another guest arrived.

"No, we didn't."Shayera widened her eyes at the monstrous voice and turned around to see a pair of white eyes appear in the darkness and before she knew it she was tackled and on top of her was a large and vicious creature that Bruce and Diana knew as Steve Trevor.

"TRAITOR!"Steve roared as he showed his fangs, drool dripped down onto Shayera helmet making her revolt in disgust. She tried to muscle her way out, but this creature was too strong. Her hands were covered by some kind of black substance, whatever it was it was strong to even hold her.

"Trevor, enough!" Bruce roared, making Steve growl at her one final time before getting up and releasing her from her bond. Steve now stood tall with his mouth soon opening and his face being revealed to the Thanagarian. Shayera widens her eyes seeing that it was Steve Trevor.

"You only live because of them, if it was up to us you would be dead." Steve told and warned her at the same time. If she tries anything then he will be on her once again. Shayera watched as the creature that surrounded the man turned into clothes. She rose to her feet and looked around at her former comrades and friends. The look Wally gave her hurt the most because she always looked at him like a little brother, annoying and goofy little brother, but one nonetheless.

"What do you want?" Shayera heard Bruce question her and as she recovered from the shock of seeing Steve Trevor with powers she opened her hand out. What the League saw was some kind of alien thumb drive.

"Everything about the machine they're building is right there."

"You mean the giant space portal that is going to rip apart the earth and kill billions. That machine?" Shayera turned her head at the human with shocked eyes. How did he know that?

"What?!" Wally exclaimed, turning Trevor to more information.

"Before I rescued you guys I interrogated some Shayera's people. Got some information, that portal that they are building is part of it. Long story short if we don't stop them from activating it the earth's goes boom." Trevor told them, making all eyes glare at the female Thanagarnian.

"I didn't know about that till recently. Which is why I came here with this and this…" Shayera opened her other hand showing the green lantern ring that John Stewart lost. The ring flew to the man, making him grab it and as for the drive Batman took it from her hand.

"You know where the exit is." Batman told basically as all members of the League minus Lantern turn their back on her.

"Not going to leave?" Shayera asked him and John crossed his arms together.

"Last time I did that you suckered a punch with your mace." He reminded her, making her feel guilty of her action, but she hid it well.

"Then why are you still here?" She asked again and even Lantern did not know the answer to that question. Shayera took his silence as an answer and decided to leave the cave, what they had she had ruined and she will always have to live with that. Seeing Shayera leave the Lanter brought back memories for Steve, memories that he wished he could buried.

"I'm fine." Steve unknowingly spoke aloud, making the League stare at him.

"My partner can be a worry about me to much at times. Anyway, does Shayera have any information that could be useful." Batman searched the drive, it did have information and a weakness that will help in destroying it, but it will take something big and powerful.

"We're going to need to watch the tower."

"Easier said than done. The tower is locked down and we have no way to get to it." Flash reminded the group and Batman turned towards Trevor who was leaning on the super computer.

"I don't have a spaceship, but it will be easy to get one. There's plenty roaming the skies."

"Ok that settles transportation, but the moment we attack the Tower they are going to send an army after us." Superman pointed, which was followed by Trevor.

"Then we split up. Two assault teams. One attacks the WatchTower and the others go after central command. In the meantime we can use the other heroes and start a rebellion and send their ground forces into disarray." Batman didn't admit, but that was a good plan, but that leaves only him trying to survive the crashing of the WatchTower.

"I'll be on the team that will take the tower, once we gain control I will pilot the ship into the portal and destroy it before the birds can even activate it." Trevor looked at the Bat and saw he knew that he knew what his plan was.

"You knew the plan."

"I know your plan. I'm smarter than I look, Bruce. You would burn up on re-entry, I on the other hand will be just fine. My partner can take the heat." Steve once showed his mind and impressed the League, it's hard to think that this is the same man that was their liaison.

"Any questions–" No question was asked because the alarm went off in the cave, the computers turned red making all eyes turn to the monitor.
"We have company." Bruce told them, everyone's mind went to one person. Shayera.

"She led them here." Diana growled, she knew that they should have arrested her till this war was over.

"Whether she did or not doesn't matter right now. Suit up and get ready for a battle." Trevor said as his organism that he was wearing covered his body turning into the black ops soldier once again.

Alfred was dusting a vase before he stopped when heard a loud noise coming from outside. The butler was soon blown to the ground when the glass shattered, a ship was outside Wayne Manor and with the ramp dropping out came a dozen Thanagarnian soldiers.

Alfred saw the soldiers and did his duty in protecting his master's home, in truth it was only to stall. Stepping up the hawk soldiers was a waste of time to them as they simply shoved him to the side. Kragger followed the device and saw where it led him, coming to the wall clock. Opening it he saw the entrance blocked by a metal. Moving out of the way he silently ordered one of his soldiers to open. The soldier began to melt the metal, soon opening the entrance and unveiling the hidden stairwell.

With the entrance to the Batcave open the soldiers dove in. "Spread out," Kragger ordered them as they searched for the League. However the League would not be hard to find. Above on the ceiling was Trevor in his monstrous form, clinging to the walls like a spider, Trevor began to drop down using a thread of web. When he was behind Kragger, the soldier realized that something was behind and turned to see the monster.

"Peek a boo."The creature roared as it grabbed Kragger, his mouth covering it with the black substance. Soon taking him up in the air. The other soldiers realized that someone was here when they heard a loud crash. Going to the direction they found out the source of it. It was Kragger who had crashed into one of the many trophy cases that Batman had in the cave.

"What–" The soldier was soon blasted to the ground thanks to the substance, it was so strong that it trapped him. All the soldiers' eyes widened and they turned to see the hulking creature charging at them. Trevor grabbed one of them by their heads and slammed them into the ground. Then summoning his tendrils from his hands he grabbed the rest by their necks and slammed repeatedly into the ground. On the third slam he let them go and thus that ended the failed assault on the manor.

"You all can come out now."Trevor told as the League revealed themself from the darkness all of them in their costumes. Trevor figured that they would need time to change so he volunteered to deal with the intruders. Morphing back into his black ops form Trevor walked over to join the League.

"Element of surprise is gone. We need to move. Now." Trevor suggested and they all knew that he was right. The League soon made their way up the stairs and out the main entrance of the cave.

"Mind the glass sir," Alfred reminded his master as he cleaned the glass off the floor, clearly unfazed by the men and women in the various costumes. Seeing the ship outside the League all knew their assignments.

"We break off here. Trevor, Manhunter, Flash, and myself will take the ship."

"I'm flying." Trevor told them with no room for argument. He was the best pilot in the group beside Batman.

"Diana, Lantern, and Superman attack their command ship and lower the generator protecting the portal." The three nodded their heads and knew what to expect, large armies, and the leader of the Thanagarian army along with Shayera.

"I don't need to remind you that if we fail then the earth goes boom." The League looked at Trevor with a knowing look and even though they couldn't see it Trevor smiled.

"Good, now let's go save the world." Trevor leapt on the ship while Team two took to the skies. Alfred watched for a moment as the ship took off into the stars and the supers went to the command ship. The Justice League was back some help and now it was time for them to go on the offense.

To Be Continued

Author Note: So just for clarification Steve Trevor is Spider-Man from a different Universe where things went bad for him because of his decision. Those decisions are of the Spider-Man 2 video game. This will be explored and explained as the Story progress. But what happens when Spider-Man enters the DCU with the black suit. All this and more will be explored as we go through the JLU cartoon and even more stories that will be fun. Main pairing however is Diana/Steve Trevor aka Peter Parker/Venom. Venom is a female Symbiotic creature so Steve will refer to it as her most of a time.
