Author Note:
So, this is more of a complete rundown of this series.
Basically, I enjoyed reading rwby react fanfictions, especially to the multiverse. The problem with nearly all of them is that they either:
A.) Focus on Jaune WAY TOO MUCH. (Seriously, you have a whole cast right there. Where's the diversity? Jaune may be a nice everyman trope, but he's just one part of an entire cast of notable characters. Atleast use the RWBY & JNPR groups entirely instead of just Jaune. He can afford to be a side character, I promise you. No one will think different of you for using him that way, I promise.)
B.) Isn't an actual multiverse but just the RWBY cast in movie/show characters places. (Come on. That's not multiverse, that's just lazy. It's a neat idea, sure, but christen it as such, not as a multiverse.)
C.) Way too many 'reactors'. (We don't need the entire cast, thanks. Seriously, people who do that usually don't even utilize half of the people that even come into the 'reaction room'. They might as well not even be there.)
Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy 'react' fics like that, but it's way too saturated for my tastes. And, they all have their issues. Am I saying my 'reaction' series will blow all the rest out of the water? No. Will it be revolutionary? No.
It will, however, be different then the MAJORITY of reaction fics.
This fic will NOT:
A.) Be centered entirely on Jaune.
B.) Be based on movies/shows with character replacements (although maybe i'll include some. It just won't be the majority.)
C.) Have 30 different reactors. (The main group will absolutely be just RWBY & JNPR. Maybe I'll bring in a couple more characters, but for the most part it will remain a small group.)
D.) No 'host' character. (I actually don't mind the 'host' part of most reaction fics, except for self-insert gods that fixes all the problems of Remnant with a wave of their hand. Seriously, stop that.)
What this reaction fic WILL have will be:
A.) Reaction to an ACTUAL multiverse (Which will be composed of AU stereotypes, au themes, alternate scenarios, and sometimes the future/alternate futures.)
(Also fair warning. Due to stereotypes being what they are, I might reference AU's that look suspiciously similar to fanfictions you have read before. While I may be inspired by fanfictions, all similarities are entirely coincidental without express permission to reference that fanfiction. So, if I have like a swap au, for example, it's not a reference to your favorite swap fanfiction. It's just a popular au stereotype.)
B.) Jaune in the reaction room. (=
C.) plot…?
D.) A small cast.
E.) An interesting take on how it all goes down.
Lastly, I will be responding to questions that you comment down in every chapter. Also, if you have any recommendations for what the cast should react to, comment them and I'll take them into consideration.
