A/N: As this is one of the more terrible seasons, I'll try and make my Ranger someone who'll be really important and helpful to the team.
I'm sorry for the delay, but my laptop had got a virus after my last update, and since it's close to Christmas, I might not get it back until afterwards. So I've burrowed a friend's, which is different from mine and harder to control, so I might not be able to update again for a while.

Genetic enhanced skill: Teleportation; can teleport up to ten feet away. (Can only do it unmorphed)

Note: Like Gwen - my Lost Galaxy Ranger - her family will not be appearing in this, only they will be mentioned.
Intro:
A spinner spins around and then stops, showing the Overdrive symbol. The Rangers all receive their gene resequencing, and then they walk along a beach. All but Will - along with Spencer - turn around in the Command Center. Mack twirls his morpher, then he and Will do a fighting pose.
Go Rangers Go...
Dax uses his Drive Vortex to hover above the ground.

Power Rangers, Operation Oh-verdrive!
A airplane flew through the sky, as a map showed its flight path from California to Kuala Lumpur, while onboard was a young man with brown hair called Mackenzie 'Mack' Hartford.
"I flew to Kuala Lumpur in a private passenger jet, reclining seats, great food, and a very cute flight attendant. My return flight wasn't so cozy."
Mack was asleep on a yellow seaplane, wearing a green shirt and brown hat, which was similar to Indiana Jones' with his hands tied together, before he woke up and raised his hat up. He looked around, seeing the plane was small and the door was open, before he turned to the window, as the pilot turned to him.
"Velkome onboart air Baron von Gerstein, mein young friend." he said, with a German accent. "I'm afrait I hafe some fery bat nevs: zere vill be no in-flight mofie."
Mack stared at him as he moved away from the cockpit, holding an idol in one hand.
"I hafe your prekious relik, ant zee fuel in zis plane is about to go kaput. Oh, ant perhaps some efen vorse nevs: zee pilot, me, is leafink." he said, moving to the door. "Auf Wiedersehen."
He jumped out of the seaplane and yelled as Mack tried to grab him, before he laughed. Mack turned and saw the systems were going haywire, telling him the Baron was right, before he turned to his hands, unable to get them free. He threw his hat off by bending his head, which fell onto his forearms, as a laser cutter got into his mouth, which he activated, cutting the rope free from his hands. He took the laser cutter out of his mouth as he shook the rope off his hands, then he tried to get up, when the plane started to go down.
"Ah!" he yelped, falling over, hitting his head against the ceiling.
He managed to sit down in the seat, as the controls beeped, before he looked around, seeing no sign of a parachute or anything to help him bail out.
"No parachute? Last time I fly economy." he said.
He grabbed the ceiling and looked at the door, before he jumped out of the seaplane and dived down like a skydiver. He shot towards the Baron, before he landed on the Baron's back and wrapped his arms around him.
"I think this belongs to me." he said, trying to grab the idol.
"Not for long. I'll pikk it up again on zee grount floor." the Baron smirked, before he pulled the cord of his parachute. "Auf Wiedersehen."
Mack fell off him as the parachute opened.
"Whoa! This is not good!" Mack yelled.
He hit the grass outside a white mansion in the city of San Angeles, now wearing a brown shirt and jeans, holding a book, as he'd dreamt the whole thing while lying on a hammock.
"Uh!" he gasped.
He turned around, before he pulled himself up, as an older man called Spencer, who wore a butler suit came towards him, carrying a tray with a glass of lemonade. He passed by a statue of a man holding a basket, before he stopped by Mack, who sat up, then picked up the book, which the Baron's face on the cover.
"The Baron's Betrayal?" Spencer read, with a British accent. "A classic no doubt up there with Dickins himself no doubt. Uh, lemonade?"
"You lowered the hammock again, didn't ya?" Mack inquired, getting up.
"Well, I thought it best, sir. It's your third fall this month." Spencer said, as Mack took and drank the lemonade. "Reading adventure books seems to aa dangerous endeavor for you."
Mack gulped on the lemonade and spat it out.
"You'd prefer it sweetened, sir?" Spencer assumed.
"I would." Mack said weakly, putting the glass on the tray. "Spencer, any word from dad? Why can't I ever go with him on any of his arachnological adventures?"
"Well, perhaps when you've mastered the hammock, sir?" Spencer assumed, pointing at it.
"Very funny." Mack scoffed, putting his hands in his pockets. "You know, I'd give anything to be with him on his adventure right now. Digging through ruins, searching for the Crown of the Gods: the Corona Aurora."
"Ah, yes, the Corona Aurora? Your father spent the better part of ten years and twice the net worth of New Mexico, looking for something that quite frankly doesn't exist." Spencer said skeptically.
At the same time, Mack's father Andrew was in a dark carven, wearing a hat like in Mack's dream, and a grey shirt. He stood on a pillar, staring at something up ahead, while three more pillars were behind him.
"The Corona Aurora? I found it." he breathed.
The crown was resting on a rock covered in golden dust, which looked like a normal crown, only with six holes in the front area, which rose up all around. He reached for it carefully, before he grabbed it and turned around, before he blew on it and wiped the dust off with his right forearm.
"With this, I will bring riches and happiness to the world." he said happily.
Thunder suddenly went off, making him look up.
"Ah!" he gasped.
He looked around as lighting went off all around him, making him wobble on the pillar.
"Ah! AH!" he yelped. "Whoa!"
A shockwave beam shot from the Earth and began shooting through the galaxy, before it went through an icy looking planet, releasing a white monster called Flurious, who had ice along his shoulders and head, and had a moustache. He wore a black skirted robe with bits of ice colored white on, with iced spikes on his shoulders and foreheads and head, and black gloves shoulder pads, with an icy chest. He held a staff, with had spiked ice on one end, and a ice patch on the other, while the ice on his head, resembled the Zeo Megazord's.
"The Corona Aurora has been found!" he said, looking up.
He laughed evilly as he raised his arms up.
(Elsewhere)
Another beam went through another planet, this one a lava planet with rings around it, which went over the lava and causing a monster called Moltor to rise up from it. He had yellow eyes and had a crowned shaped head, which resembled the Dino Megazord's, with two swords on his back, white teeth along his chest and shoulders, red boots, and white robes on his legs, while his hands and face had reptile scales on.
"At last, I'm free!" he declared.
(Earth)
Mr. Hartford turned around as he wobbled on the pillar.
"WHOA!" he yelled.
He jumped onto the next one, then the next one as the others fell apart, then he jumped towards a ledge.
"AH!" he yelled, grabbing the edge of it.
He pulled himself up as the craven shook, then he groaned and rested against a wall, when he turned and saw a light form into the spirt of a figure known as the Sentinel Knight. He was mostly golden, with green eyes and a circle on his chest, with black gloves, face area - as it was faceless - and a cloak and robes around the legs.
"You have found the Corona Aurora, and with that, you have awoken great evil." he explained. "Listen closely? This is what you must do. There is not much time."
Six months later, in Hollywood, California, a Asian man wearing a blonde wig, jeans and green jacket called Dax Lo, was running away along a ledge of a building, from three men in black suits. He turned once near a support beam, before he grabbed hold of it and slid down it with his hands, then he jumped away once at the bottom, then he rolled forward past the beam. He got up as one of the men - who was bald - came at him, before he jumped over a wall and landed on a path beneath him, before he turned and rolled towards it, as the other two men came at him from either side - one flipping forward, while the other turned and flipped backwards.
The bald man jumped after Dax, holding his arms out and his legs bent, before he landed on his feet and turned. Dax ducked as the second man grabbed a metal pole and swung around on it to kick him, before the bald man came at him. He jumped slightly onto a box on a wall, then turned to pounce on Dax, who dodged past the third man and ran off. Dax jumped and kicked his feet against a wall to get past the second - who got in front of him - then soon he jumped down a large flight of steps outside, landing behind a shopping cart.
"Yah!" he yelled.
The second man side flipped down after him, while the third did the same over a retaining wall with plants in. Dax soon jumped off a wall at the top of more steps while spinning around, as both men chased after him, one side flipping down the steps. He soon kicked his foot against a wall and dived past all three men, who stood on the wall, before they turned and jumped after him. He landed on the ground and rolled over, followed by the third man, then he soon jumped down towards a ramp for wheelchairs, before he grabbed and jumped over the railing bar.
"Yah!" he yelled, spinning around.
The bald man jumped over the railing - his body like before - before he turned and ran after Dax, as the other two men jumped over the railing ahead of him. They both turned to chase Dax, before all three men bumped into each other and fell down.
Dax soon ran towards a woman dressed in a black dress, before he grabbed her by the waist and spun around with her, then he put her down as they both looked at each other, then Dax leaned to kiss her.
Behind them, a bunch of people were sitting in chairs with film equipment, as it was part of a film set, and Dax was a stuntman.
"And cut!" the Director said through a bullhorn. "First team in."
Dax moved away as a white man wearing the same clothes as him moved in and took his place, as other people approached the actors and began to do their hair and clothes.
"Just a little more..." a man said, as a woman wrapped a coat around the actress.
"Yeah, over here, that's it." another said.
Dax move away from them all and took off his jacket and wig.
"And clear!" the Director said.
Everyone moved away from the two actors.
"I'm happy." a woman said.
Dax turned around as the cameramen prepared themselves.
"And action!" the Director said.
The two actors kissed each other.
"Cut." the Director said.
The two actors pulled apart, as the crew clapped, expect Dax who scratched his head, before an African man shoved past him, as people talked.
"I could've kissed her." Dax sighed. "I know how to kiss. He didn't know how to run."
He turned around to the chairs, which had 'Writer', 'Director', 'Producer' and 'Stunts', the last of which was his and only tiny. One it was a small golden device that looked like a glasses case, which had silver down the middle, and a symbol of a compress with a red and black line in diagonally, like needles. He picked it up and looked it up, before it popped open, and a hologram of Mr. Hartford showed up on it.
"I'm quite a fan of yours, Dax." Mr. Hartford said, making Dax smile. "I'm Andrew Hartford."
In Italy, a race was going on at the Italian Grand Prix, with race cars moving along the track. The lead car, which was yellow and had the number '2' on the side, was being driven by a woman called Veronica 'Ronny' Robinson, who crossed the finish line as the checkered flag waved, before she pulled it over.
"And Ronny Robinson has won her seventh race in a row...!" a man announced.
Ronny got out of her car as her crew came towards it, before she took her helmet off and waved her hair out.
"...and the Grand Championship!"
"Whoo!" several people whooped.
A man handed Ronny a large trophy, which she held up proudly.
"Whoo! Yeah!" people cheered.
"All right!" a man whooped.
Ronny looked at the trophy, and saw a device inside which looked like the same device Dax had found.
"Good one, Ronny." a woman said.
As people began snapping pictures of her, Ronny took the device out of the trophy, then walked off and handed the trophy to one of her crew. She undid the top of her suit, before the device opened up, and a hologram of Mr. Hartford showed up.
"Congratulations, Ronny." he said, making her smile. "I knew you'd win, you always do. I'm Andrew Hartford."
Ronny looked puzzled slightly as she kept looking at him.
In Brazil, a African man called Will Aston lowered himself down on a piece of cable inside a large building, wearing a black suit which covered his body. He stopped near a brown vault, which had laser alarms all over the floor, before he slid a key card down a slot. He held up a device and pressed a button on it, which cracked the safe, then he turned the large silver handle, unlocking it, but when he pulled it open, all he saw was a device like the one Dax and Ronny found.
"Huh?" he gasped.
He took his mask off, showing he had short dreadlock hair, while he looked confused.
"What's this? I thought I was recovering the stolen Korhym Diamonds for the museum?" he questioned, picking up the device.
He opened the device, as a hologram of Mr. Hartford appeared on it.
"Nice job, Will." he said. "I hired you to break into my own vault in order to test your skills. You passed with flying colors."
Will looked around, a bit shocked by the news.
In Poland, a black-haired woman called Jasmine 'Jazz' Perkins was helping a man over, before she put him down against a crate, while all around, other people were helping other injured people, as they're been an Earthquake recently.
"Dobrze, proszę pana, proszę się nie ruszać?" Jazz asked, taking a bandage out, as she had a first-aid kit on her.
She began to wrap it around the man's right leg, who sighed.
"No i to powinno wystarczyć." she said, getting up.
"Dziękuję, panienko." the man said.
Jazz smiled and got up, when a young boy ran towards the man and hugged him.
"Wszystko w porządku, synu." he muttered.
Jazz turned and walked over to a blonde man who wore the same outfit as her.
"I'm glad you speak their language, Jazz." he said.
"Thanks." Jazz said, speaking with a Kiwi accent. "I feel sorry for all these people who lost their homes in that Earthquake."
"We all do." the man said. "But that's what we do as Aid Volunteers."
Jazz smiled as she walked over to a large SUV, where her backpack was, then reached in and pulled out a device like the others.
"Huh?" she muttered.
She put her backpack down and opened the device, and a hologram of Mr. Hartford appeared on it.
"Impressive language skills, Jasmine." he said. "For someone who speaks many languages on Earth, very impressive indeed."
"I prefer 'Jazz'." Jazz said, annoyed.
"Sorry about that. I'm Andrew Hartford." Mr. Hartford said.
In London, England, a drill-shaped laser attached to a the end of a small crane, was blasting around a room in the 'Wicker-bridge University of Technology', scaring people off all over.
"Get out of the way!" a woman screamed.
The laser swerved around and kept blasting away, as an old male Professor typed on a computer, trying to shut it off.
"Look out!" a man said, as another ducked and ran past the laser.
A Hispanic looking young woman called Rose Ortiz, who had short hair, came walking out of room while listening to music through earphones, and began to approach the table the Professor was at. She chewed on some gum and ducked as the laser fired at her, making it hit a shelf, but she kept on walking, then once at the table, shoved the Professor aside with her body. She began typing on the computer as the laser kept firing, then just after it turned and fired, it stopped.
"Whoa!" some people gasped.
Rose and the Professor turned to each other, as others looked at them both.
"Professor, next time you wanna mess with my robot, please don't?" Rose asked.
She picked up her bag, which was beneath the table, when a device that looked just like the others the other people found, fell out and hit the floor. She looked at it as people all around her talked, before she picked it up.
"She did a cypress." a man said.
Rose looked at the device, before it popped open, and Mr. Hartford's hologram appeared.
"Hello, Rose." he said. "I've read your papers on advanced on robotic science. Very impressive."
Rose smiled.
The next day, all five people were inside the Hartford Mansion, standing in the main room, which included a pool table, a fish tank, a mummy in an open tomb against a wall, a old driver's suit against another, a foosball table, and pictures and maps all along the walls. Dax knocked some balls along the pool table, as Will walked past the mummy, while Ronny moved and looked at the fish tank, which had a ship in, while Jazz stared at a large map of the world, which had climbing posts on.
"Anyone have a clue why we're here?" Rose asked, walking away from an office behind her, holding a bag.
Dax shrugged.
"Don't know. Got an invitation, so I showed up." Ronny said, as Jazz approached the others.
"This Hartford guys must be some whacky gazillion." Will said, walking past the pool table. "He had me break into his own bank in Brazil."
The others all turned to him.
"Break-in?" Jazz questioned, folding her arms. "What do you mean?"
Before Will could answer, Mack came into the room with one of his books.
"Hey, guys. What's going on here?" he asked curiously, closing his book.
"Join the party. We got a message from that Hartford guy, just like you." Ronny explained, turning to the others, then back to him.
"Message? What message?" Mack inquired, confused.
Everyone turned as they heard footsteps, seeing Mr. Hartford and Spencer approaching them.
"Welcome, everyone." Mr. Hartford said.
"What's going on, dad?" Mack asked, grinning.
Mr. Hartford made his way over, leaving the five visitors puzzled.
"I'm having an important meeting, Mack." he explained, as he gently pushed Mack towards the door. "Can we talk later?"
"But, dad, what are... Who are these people?" Mack asked, before Mr. Hartford closed the door on him.
Ronny and Jazz both looked puzzled, before Mr. Hartford turned to everyone.
"I'm Andrew Hartford. I'm glad you all decided to accept my invitation." he said thankfully. "Before we get started, can I interest anyone in some lemonade? Spencer?"
"Oh, thank you, sir, but I'm quite fine." Spencer said.
"For them, Spencer." Mr. Hartford corrected.
"Oh..." Spencer said, before he turned and walked off.
"I am sure you all have many questions." Mr. Hartford assumed, walking past the five people. "And I promise you, I will answer every one."
The people all turned to him, as he turned around to them.
"But first, I need your help. Because without you, without your talents, without your intelligence, our world, our universe, is going to be destroyed." he explained.
His voice echoed into several air-vent shafts in the walls.
(Elsewhere)
Mack was listening in on the other side of one, before he turned to Spencer, who was behind him, before he turned back.
(Office)
Mr. Hartford stood behind his desk as the five stood near the steps, all staring at a recording on a TV screen on their right/his left. (Jazz was between Dax and Rose)
A meteor hit a road in a city, before Moltor and a bunch of red creatures called Lava Lizards showed up, which all had heads that resembled the Dragonzord's, with points on their shoulders, scales all over their bodies, and carried scimitar swords.
"Lava Lizards, attack!" Moltor commanded, before they charged forward.
The five people kept watching.
A gust of ice showed up in another part of the city, before Flurious and a bunch of creatures called Chillers showed up. They were all grey, with a head resembling the Warrior Wheel's, alongside their chest and shoulder armor, while their eyes resembled a kind of doorknob, and had a candle in their mouths, while some carried Kama/pick-axes, the rest clubs resembling torch brackets.
"AH!" Flurious roared, before they marched through the city.
Mr. Hartford turned the TV off, showing it was disguised as a portrait of a map, before turning to the people, Will leaning against a pillar and crossing his legs over.
"That was three days ago." he explained. "Evil has arrived on Earth."
"And all this, supposedly because you found some crown?" Ronny inquired.
"Not just a crown." Mr. Hartford began, walking around his desk. "The Corona Aurora; which according to legend has power not just over this planet, but the universe. Millennia ago, in a galaxy on the other side of the universe, there were two brothers; Moltor and..."
"Moltor and Flurious..." Rose said.
(The story)
Both brothers wore black robes, staring the crown, which was in the middle of a lake, and had six jewels on where the holes were, one blue, pink, red, purple, yellow and black.
"...who tried to steal the Corona Aurora..."
They both ran along stepping stones on the water, before they reached the crown.
"...but the crown was so powerful..."
Lighting came out of the crown, hitting them both.
"...it cursed them."
They both transformed into their monstrous appearances.
"Changed their appearance and sent them off to distance planets..."
They both went shooting up towards the sky, before they ended up on the planets they'd escaped from.
(Reality)
"...imprisoning them in their own elements." Rose finished.
She looked around, seeing everyone looking at her.
"What?" she said. "I took a year of Ancient Universal Legends at Harvard. Anyway, it's just a myth."
"There's more." Mr. Hartford assured.
(Flashback)
The Sentinel Knight ran towards the lake, before he stopped and looked at the crown.
"In order to stop anyone from getting the power again..."
He ran over towards it and soon held it up.
"...the guardian took the six jewels from the crown..."
He picked the jewels out of the crown, one by one.
"...and scattered them on a distant, uninhabited planet."
He looked up at the sky and threw the jewels up into the sky.
"That planet, those many..."
Earth began to move through time, creating more oceans.
"...millennia ago, was Earth."
(Flashback ends)
"Now this... This would make a great movie." Dax said.
"Huh?" Jazz muttered, turning to him.
"I know this guy, who knows the sister of a cousin of Spielberg's limo driver's aunt." Dax said, before putting his hands together. "Bet I could play you."
Mr. Hartford turned and bent down near a vent shaft.
"Spencer!" he called.
(Other side)
His voice echoed, making Mack cover his ears.
"Coming, sir." Spencer said.
(The office)
Mr. Hartford got up and turned to the people.
"I accidently released Moltor and Flurious from their imprisonment, and now, thanks to me, they and who knows how many other power-crazed beasts are here or soon will be, looking for the crown." he explained.
He turned and walked around his desk to the back left corner of his office, as Spencer came towards them all, with a tray full of glasses of lemonade. He pulled back a portrait of a planet with two rings around shaped like an X, showing a safe.
"Gee, it's getting late..." Ronny said.
Mr. Hartford put his thumb on a device on the safe, as Rose, Jazz and Dax all took a glass of lemonade.
"..and I'm sure there's an engine overhaul waiting for me. I'm gonna leave."
She turned around to leave as Mr. Hartford turned to them all, holding the crown, the safe and portrait closed.
"Wait?" he begged.
Ronny stopped and turned back around, as he held up the crown.
"Everything I told you is true. I need your help." he explained. "We need to protect this from falling into the wrong hands."
"You're rich. Buy an army?" Rose suggested, scoffing.
"An army can't stop them, but you can." Mr. Hartford explained.
"Us? Why us?" Jazz asked, skeptically, pointing at herself.
"The five of you have the physical and mental qualities needed, and I have the technology and the money to fight this evil." Mr. Hartford explained. "I can turn you into Power Rangers."
Will lowered his head, looking annoyed, while Jazz held her mouth open in shock.
"Power Rangers?" Dax said enthusiastically, turning to the others. "Yes!"
Rose shook her head, flinching slightly.
"Personally, I don't work well with teammates. No offence, guys." Will assured, turning to the others, then back to Mr. Hartford. "Good luck with um... Well, just good luck."
He and Ronny both turned and walked off.
"Bye." Rose said, waving.
Dax and Jazz - who held Rose's glass too - both put their glasses on Spencer's tray, before they and Rose turned and followed the others.
"Yeah, thanks." Dax said.
"Thanks." Jazz said.
"Spencer, do something?" Mr. Hartford begged, quietly.
"I will show them out, sir." Spencer said.
"No, no, stop them?" Mr. Hartford begged.
"Sir, even you cannot make people do what they do not want to do." Spencer said.
The five people made it past the pool table, when lighting suddenly hit them.
"AH!" they yelped, as smoke came up in front of them.
Will backed away as they all gasped, before the Sentinel Knight's image appeared before them.
"He spoke the truth. The fate of your planet, your universe, rests in your hands. I am too weak to go after it myself." he explained, as Will and Rose turned to each other. "Without your help, there will be no more."
The five people all looked amongst each other, all now thinking hard.
Meanwhile, Flurious and several of his Chillers had entered an ice cave in the North Pole, before they walked up some steps.
"Ah, yes." he said, looking around. "This will do nicely."
"Ah." came a yawning voice.
Flurious turned and saw a yeti wearing overall pants coming out of a room, before he slid down a slide and into the main room. He laughed before reaching the bottom, then sat up and looked at several Chillers.
"Ah, company?" he said, getting up. "I'm Norg, hi."
He turned round to Flurious.
"Are you a new friend?" he asked.
Flurious looked at him, then roared and shot ice from his staff, which hit him and knocked him down.
"Whoa!" he yelled.
He slid backwards along the ice, before he hit a wall and laughed.
"That was fun." he said.
He clapped his hands and banged his legs together.
At the same time, inside a volcano, Moltor was sitting on a throne, before he turned to a pool of water on his right.
"Ah. What have we here?" he wondered, getting up.
He looked at the pool, which showed the Hartford Mansion.
"Excellent." he grinned.
He turned as he heard a noise, before three of his Lava Lizards showed up out of a wall near some steps.
"Gather 'round, my lizards? An informant's tip has paid off." he said. "Now go and bring me back my crown!"
The three Lava Lizards all held up their arms, before they turned and ran up the steps.
Back at the Hartford Mansion, Mr. Hartford, Spencer and the five people were all in an underground room, the five chosen people standing together in between a machine made of two poles, with three slide poles, and colored square lights behind them, from the left to right, pink, blue, red, purple, yellow and black. (Jazz was between Dax and Ronny) Also in the room was a set of steps, an elevator, a few computers on the other side, six suitcase like objects with wheel handles on top, which the compress symbol on a panel above them, and a large globe in the center of the room, which had glass bits to represent the continents.
The five people all wore black outfits, composing of a shirt, pants, boots, and a jacket which had compress symbol on the chest - the boys on the right, the girls on their left. The jackets also had colored markings on them, from lines going up the chest to their collars, along a Velcro area the symbol was on, with lines also on their shoulders and hips, Rose's being pink, Dax's blue, Jazz's purple, Ronny's yellow, and Will's black - which was darker than the rest of the suit.
Colored waves came out of the machine they stood at, which went into their bodies, making them look at themselves.
"Team, thank you for accepting my offer." Mr. Hartford said, who stood on the other side of the globe. "The uniforms look good on you. Now as we speak, your body's physical and mental capabilities have been enhanced by a DNA re-sequencer, a Hartford Industries design."
The five chosen people all looked at themselves.
"As your body adapts, you will soon be able to do things and know things, that only moments ago you thought impossible." Mr. Hartford explained.
"Are we gonna turn into a weird fly or something?" Dax asked nervously.
"Not a chance. This is totally harmless." Mr. Hartford assured. "But you are now stronger and smarter, than when you first arrived."
The machine turned off, then Dax touched his jacket as they looked around.
"Welcome to your new base." Mr. Hartford said.
He stopped on one side of the globe, while the people stopped on the other.
"One thing you should know about me is that I would never ask you to do anything, that I wouldn't do myself." Mr. Hartford assured.
"I didn't see you getting your genes scrambled?" Ronny noted.
"I'm about to join you right now." Mr. Hartford assured. "I will be the sixth team member, the Red Power Ranger."
He walked over to the machine, before he stood in it and turned around.
"Spencer?" he said.
"Sir." Spencer said.
He turned and walked off, when the elevator door opened up, showing Mack inside, who looked at his father.
"Dad?" he said, entering the room.
Everyone turned to him.
"Mack? You need to go home." Mr. Hartford said.
"I am home. Technically several hundred feet below my home." Mack said, stopping by the globe. "What is this place?"
"I'll explain it all to you later." Mr. Hartford assured.
A little later, Mr. Hartford - who had his arms folded - and Mack were up in the living room, standing by the pool table, Mack having just found everything.
"I knew something was going on. Ever since you got back from your last trip, you've been working 24-7, I never see you anymore..." Mack began.
"I know, I know." Mr. Hartford sighed. "I..."
"You messed up big time. I understand." Mack said, as his father turned to him. "And now you're doing something about it, and I wanna help. I wanna be a Power Ranger too."
"No." Mr. Hartford said.
Meanwhile, the five people were all outside, with Dax getting onto the stand the statue was on.
"You guys feel re-sequenced yet?" he asked, scratching his chest. "I just feel kinda itchy. Maybe I've gotten re-sequenced with a flea or something."
"Maybe you've seen too many movies?" Ronny joked.
"Or been in them, Mr. Fall Guy." Jazz sniggered.
"Hey!" Dax said, offended.
"Wait?" Will said, as he stopped and held his arm out. "Did you guys hear that?"
The others all came towards him, all confused as he closed his eyes.
"It's so loud." he said, before opening his eyes. "...and my eyesight."
His eyesight suddenly zoomed away through the grounds, before they stopped near some brushes near the lake, seeing some Lava Lizards behind it.
"It's telescopular." Will said, before he led them off. "It's coming from over there."
They all walked through a gateway in the grounds, before they stopped.
"Telescopular? That's not a word." Rose said.
"Maybe not, but that's what it is." Will assured, before pointing forward. "Like right now, I see something moving in those bushes."
The Lava Lizards all came jumping out of the bushes, shocking the five people.
"Ah!" Dax gasped.
The Lava Lizards all roared and charged at them all, making them all duck and/or run past them.
"Ah!" the girls yelped.
"Ah!" Dax gasped, ducking past one's sword.
Dax dodged and did a sideways handspring past one as it tried to slash him, then he did a backwards one and a back flip past a few more. He turned slightly before one kicked him in the side from behind, knocking him forward.
"AH!" he yelped.
He rolled forward and got up, then tried to kick another's chest, but it grabbed his foot and lifted it up, sending him flying away.
"AHHH!" he yelled, spinning around in mid-air, before he hit the grass on his back.
Ronny was locked in a grapple with one, before it threw her away.
"Ah!" she moaned, hitting the ground on her back near three more.
Two jumped up and landed on either side of her as she got up, before they grabbed her up by the arms and threw her away.
"AH!" she yelled, back flipping away.
She hit a white fence post and knocked it down.
Jazz ducked and ran past one as it tried to slash her, before she spun around and whacked another's sword with her right forearm. She turned and dodged as a third tried to stab her, before the first got behind her and kicked her in the back.
"Ah!" she yelped.
She fell against the second and third, who caught her, before they both threw her away, making her back flip through the air.
"AHHH!" she yelled, before hitting the ground on her chest.
Rose knocked ones sword with her forearm, knocking it back slightly, then she kicked another's sword, before it ducked and tripped her up, making her flip forwards onto her back.
"AH!" she screamed.
Two of them grabbed her by the arms and held her up.
"AH!" she yelled, before a third dived and kicked her. "AH!"
She fell down onto her side.
Will got onto a bench near a tree, then jumped and side flipped over a branch as one tried to slash him, before he landed on his feet on the other side. He did a sideways handspring to his right as another tried to slash him, before he kicked a third's sword down, as he landed on his behind, then he rolled over slightly and kicked the first in the chest. He got up and kicked ones sword away, before he backed away towards a tree, then he dodged as another tried to slash him, then dodged as the first tried to, before he blocked the second's sword with his left forearm, then blocked the second's with his right, before kicking a third's chest, before the second threw him away.
"AHH!" he yelled, twirling around, before he hit the ground on his back.
Dax went flying away, followed by Will, Jazz, Rose and Ronny.
"AHH!" they screamed, before hitting the ground.
They all rolled onto their chests, before they looked up at the Lava Lizards.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm not gonna sit here and be lizard food." Ronny said.
She pulled herself up and glared at the Lava Lizards, before she began to dash forward like a blur.
"Hi-yah!" she yelled, knocking three up.
She dashed back and jumped up, kicking another two away, then dived past a third and knocked it away, then came up behind a fourth and hit its back with her hand, knocking it away. The others all got up in shock, all but Dax clutching an arm, as she looked at herself in amazement.
"Ronny, how'd you do that?" Dax asked. "You were a blur!"
"I don't know, but I'm guessing my genes just re-squenced." Ronny guessed, before a Lava Lizard appeared behind Dax. "Look out, Dax!"
Dax turned around, as the others ran off, then he turned and jumped as the Lava Lizard crouched and tried to slash him, jumping up so high, before he dived down.
"Whoa!" he yelled.
He landed in a three-point stance, then he jumped and dived forward, kicking his legs out, before he kicked three in the chest, one at a time, knocking them down. He landed on his feet and backed away, breathing with shock and excitement.
"Nice. My legs are like springs." he said.
He turned to Jazz, when a Lava Lizard came up behind her.
"Jazz, behind you!" Dax yelled, pointing at her.
"Huh?" Jazz muttered, turning around.
The Lava Lizard tried to slash her with its sword, as she braced herself, when she vanished, making it miss, then she reappeared a few feet away.
"Wha?" she muttered, lowering her arms. "Whoa! I can teleport!"
She turned as one came at her, before she teleported away, getting behind it, before she kicked its back.
Will ducked and rolled past one as it tried to slash her, while Rose jumped and spun around, kicking another's sword, before she stared at it with her fists up.
"You know, this might be fun after all." she said, before looking at herself. "What's my power?"
She held up her fists as two Lava Lizards came at her.
"What's my power?" she said, as she turned invisible. "Cool. I'm invisible."
She jumped and kicked both Lava Lizards in the chest, back flipping away as they fell down, before she turned visible again and landed on her feet and looked at herself.
Spencer came out of the mansion with a tray of food, before he saw the battle.
Dax did a backwards handspring away from a Lava Lizard, while Ronny punched another slightly, while Rose did a forward handspring past a third, as Will dodged a fourth's sword, and Jazz kicked a fifth's chest.
"Oh, dear..." Spencer gulped, before he turned and ran off towards the door.
Back inside, Mack was still arguing with his dad, who had his back to him.
"Dad, you don't understand. I know I can help, just give me a chance?" Mack asked.
"Mack, it's not gonna happen." Mr. Hartford argued, turning around.
The door near them opened up, and Spencer came in, getting their attention.
"Sir." he said.
"Spencer, we're talking." Mr. Hartford said.
"Sir?" Spencer pleaded, approaching them.
"Spencer!" Mr. Hartford sighed.
"Sir, big lizards are attacking your house guests, sir." Spencer explained.
"Lava Lizards!" Mr. Hartford gasped.
Spencer's eyes widened.
"Spencer, you get the team. I'll get the crown." Mr. Hartford said.
He turned to Mack as Spencer turned and walked off.
"Mack, you stay inside where it's safe." he instructed.
He walked off past Mack, who turned around to him, then back to the door, wanting to help.
In the ice cave, Flurious got up from a throne made of ice that had been made for him, staring at an image projector in front of him.
"Moltor is alive and looking for the crown." he said, as the projector saw the battle.
Dax kicked a Lava Lizard's chest, while Ronny spun around and kicked another's sword, as Rose ran off to avoid a third, and Jazz blocked a fourth's sword with her left forearm.
"Oh, yes, and he didn't tell me!" he growled. "So much for brotherly love? Chillers, go!"
He pointed at the door as his Chillers all moved towards it.
Back at the mansion, Spencer walked past the statue outside, when Mack came running up towards him, now wearing a grey hooded jacket. He turned to Mack, then grabbed his jacket as he tried to run past him.
"Your father told you to stay in the house where it's safe." he said.
"I'm tried of be safe!" Mack said stubbornly, pointing at the fight. "I'm helping!"
Will turned around, as Rose kicked a Lava Lizard away, while Dax turned away and ran away from a third.
"You'll do nothing of the kind." Spencer argued, as Ronny pushed a fourth away, while Jazz ducked and ran past a fifth. "Rangers!"
They all ran over to Spencer and Mack, before they stopped and turned around, Rose clutching her left elbow. (Jazz was on Rose's left)
"We need to leave right away." Spencer explained, turning right. "You three, you'll need to ride by yourselves. You'll find the vehicles in the garage."
Dax, Will and Ronny all turned and ran off, as Spencer turned to Jazz and Rose.
"Rose, Jazz, you two come with me." he instructed.
"Right." Jazz said, as Rose nodded.
"I'm going to the garag-" Mack began, as he tried to run off.
"You're coming with me too." Spencer said, dragging him back.
He turned around and dragged Mack off, as Rose and Jazz followed.
Once in the vehicles, everyone began to drive off through a shallow river in a field, splashing water everywhere as they did. Dax took the lead on a quad, with Will and Ronny behind him on dirt-bikes, while everyone else - including Mr. Hartford - was in a large truck with seven seats, which had the compress symbol on the doors, with black dots all around, and yellow beams at the top like a jeep. Spencer drove it, while Mr. Hartford sat beside him, with Mack and Rose behind them respectfully, while Jazz sat in a seat behind them both, which was in the middle.
"You guys were awesome. You were really giving it to them back there." Mack remarked.
"I'm not exactly sure who was giving one to whom, but thanks." Rose said.
"Yeah. We were doing our best back there." Jazz said.
"Mr. Hartford, apologies again for doubting your story." Rose said.
"No worries, Rose." Mr. Hartford said.
"There may be, sir." Spencer gasped. "I think we're in trouble."
Dax turned and skidded his quad to a halt, followed by Will and Ronny, then Spencer pulled the truck over. Dax looked up and saw a swarm of Chillers approaching them, before he, Will and Ronny took off their helmets and gloves.
"The lizards are behind us?" Will said, as they got off their vehicles. "So who are these guys?"
He pointed at the Chillers as Rose and Jazz got out of the truck, while the others gathered around it, as Mack got up.
"I don't think they're the welcoming committee." Dax guessed.
"If the lizards belong to Moltor, I'd say these guys belong to Flurious." Jazz guessed.
"We're going to the big time." Mr. Hartford said. "Guys..."
He opened up a case, showing six identical devices on, which had a golden wheel at the bottom with the compress symbol on, a large screen in the middle with an image of the globe on, surrounded by red lines at the edge, silver bits in the corners, a silver circle on top, and a small light scanner on the left side.
"...these are your Overdrive Trackers." he explained, handing one out.
Mack turned to him, as Rose took it, then Jazz and Ronny took one each.
"These will what will morph you into Power Rangers." Mr. Hartford explained, as he handed one to Dax. "Overdrive Accelerate is the activation code."
He handed one to Will, before he held the last one up.
"Let's do it." he said.
The five people all turned and ran off, as Mr. Hartford got up and opened the door.
"Dad, I wanna help?" Mack said.
"Mack, I..." Mr. Hartford began.
The five people kept on running, before they stopped in a field together. (Jazz was between Will and Rose)
"I don't know about you guys, but we can't wait for Hartford." Will said. "Let's Ranger up!"
The others nodded, before they held up their trackers out, before the screen part rotated out 180 degrees, showing a bunch of buttons like a phone, before they pressed a black one at the top, which had a green flash on it. There was also two white buttons on either side, with with red on, the other black, red buttons numbered 1 to 12, as well as a one with a picture on and the word 'Go' at the bottom.
"Overdrive Accelerate!" they shouted, pulling them back to their left shoulders, before they ran the wheel along their arms.

The screen split into five, Will in the top left, Rose in the top right, Ronny in the bottom left, Dax in the bottom right, Jazz in the middle. They all ran the wheel of their trackers down their arms, before they held them to their right, before the wheels stopped. They turned them and fired a beam at them, bringing up a projection of their suits and weapons, before they spun around and morphed up, with their chest symbols popping up. Their shoulder armor appeared on them, before their helmets did, then they did their fight poses. Will held his left hand up, then lowered it and clutched his fist, while holding his right fist down, while Rose held both her hands like choppers, before holding her right sideways and her left up near her helmet. Ronny banged both her forearms together, before holding her fists up, while Dax held his hands together, then held his left fist out, and his right hand upwards on his right, with his back two fingers bent, while Jazz put her hands close together, then pulled them back, holding her right up diagonally, and her left fist by her hip.

They all stood in their poses as they stared at the Chillers.
Their Ranger suits all matched their colors of the stripes on their uniforms, which had a large white bit running down their chests, half their legs and arms, with the compress symbol on their chests, silver pads on the shoulders, as well as around the ends of the gloves and boots. They also belt which had red and white blaster on called a Drive Defender on their right hips, while their helmets were different, apart from a black line running along the back, a silver mouthpiece with lines on, and a headlight on top of the visor.
Ronny's visor had a curved shape in the middle at the bottom, forming two points, one on either side of the mouthpiece, which had four lines across, while she had a light with four lines over her headlights, which had four square markings in it. The bottom of Will's visor went down like a the bottom half of a hexagon, the lines on his visor got longer as they went upwards, while it had a rectangle pattern above his headlights, which had five square markings in it. Jazz's visor was a long normal rectangle, while the pattern on top was more outward from Will's, her mouthpiece lines were like Ronny's, only a bit longer, and her headlights had six markings in it, all square. Rose's visor was the biggest, like a round circle, while the lines on her mouthpiece were like Ronny's and Jazz's, only shorter, while her headlights went curved over the top end, and her headlights had five square markings in it. Dax's visor had a pointed arrow end, with arrow shaped wing lines on the mouthpiece, with an upside down triangle over the visor, which a matching patten on top of the helmet, and his headlights had three circle markings in, the middle one being smaller.
"Yeah." Will said, as they stood at ease, folding his arms.
"All right." Ronny said, looking at herself.
"Cool." Rose said, doing the same.
"Amazing." Jazz said, as she and Dax did the same.
The Chillers all stared at them.
"Let's do it!" Rose said, holding her right fist up.
"Yah!" the others yelled.
Ronny held her fists up, her left by her helmet, while Dax held his right forearm up over his chest, with his back fingers pressed against his palm, while Jazz held her right fist up near her helmet, then they all charged forward to fight.
"Mack, I have to join my team." Mr. Hartford said, turning from them to Mack. "The answer's 'No'. Do you hear me?"
"I'll keep an eye on him, sir." Spencer promised.
Mr. Hartford nodded, before he turned and got out of the truck, when two Lava Lizards came out of the bushes nearby and grabbed him by the arms.
"DAD!" Mack cried, leaning against the railing.
"Oh, dear." Spencer gulped.
Mr. Hartford struggled against the Lava Lizards.
"Let me go?!" he demanded, dropping his tracker.
Mack looked down at it as they led his father away, before he looked determined and jumped from the truck.
"Oh!" Spencer gasped.
Mack picked up the tracker and held it up, which spun around in mid-air, before he caught it and opened it up, pressing the button.
"Overdrive Accelerate!" he shouted, doing the movement.
A beam came around him, morphing into a Red Ranger suit like Dax's and Will's as he held his arms out, only the helmet's visor was like a curved oval, the lines on the mouthpieces were like Dax's, only shorter as they didn't reach the ends, his headlights had five markings on, two square, three circle, while the patten on top was like Will's, only it got smaller as it reached the headlights.
He held up his right arm up and his left fist by his chest, before holding his right arm out and his fist by his helmet.
Mr. Hartford turned around as the Lava Lizards kept hold of him, before he gasped as Mack charged forward.
"Yah!" he yelled.
Dax held a Chiller by the arm before he turned around, as Ronny ducked ducked to avoid another's club, then blocked it with her forearm.
"Look!" he said.
Rose dodged as one ran past her, while Jazz ducked to avoid another's Kama, while Will turned and grabbed a third's forearm.
"It's Mack!" Rose said, pointing at him.
"Drive Lance!" Mack shouted, as his headlights lit up.
His weapon came out in front of him, which resembled a staff, with the end being shaped like a trident, as it had a long blade at the end, and two claspers on either side. He grabbed it and swung it around, before held it out behind him, holding his left hand like a fist.
Two Chillers shot blasts from their mouths at Mack, who jumped up as they hit the ground, creating an explosion behind him.
"HA!" he yelled.
He dived down and slashed two Chillers with the end of his lance, before he jumped and spun around, diving past a Lava Lizard, before he landed and slashed three more Chillers down. A fourth dived towards him and fired a blast from its mouth, but he put the pole end of his staff against the ground, then jumped up and kicked the Chiller's chest, as an explosion went off nearby.
"Yah!" he yelled.
The Chiller went flying away and hit a cliff face, before it shattered to pieces.
Will's headlights lit up as he held his right hand to his left.
"Drive Slammer!" he shouted.
His weapon appeared in his hand, which resembled a sledgehammer, the end of which resembled tire wheels, while the pole end had a car's axel. He spun it around and held it up, before he tossed it like a boomerang at a bunch of Chillers. It hit two in front of him, then moved around and hit another five on a cliff with trees around, before it shot back towards him.
"It's slammer time!" he shouted, jumping up.
He grabbed his slammer, as an explosion went off behind him, then he spread his legs out, before he dived down and slammed, creating a puff of smoke, which knocked several Chillers and Lava Lizards away.
Dax held up his weapon as it glowed, which resembled a large gauntlet, with a turbine at the end.
"Drive Vortex!" he shouted.
He aimed it at the ground, as the turbine powered up, which boosted him up into the air, before he shot towards six Chillers. He raised his vortex up, blowing wind at them as he dived past them, knocking them down, then he somersaulted forward and landed in the quarry. He turned and kicked a Chiller's Kama, then kicked another's leg, knocking it onto its chest, then he jumped and spun around, kicking the first away, which hit the ground on his back. He then jumped up and flipped sideways as an explosion went off behind him, before he fired his vortex, hitting and knocking several Lava Lizards and Chillers down, before he landed on his feet.
Ronny jumped up with her weapons, which were two large claws resembling bulldozer shovel scoops, as an explosion went off behind her.
"Drive Claws!" she shouted.
She dived down and landed on her feet, before she ducked as a Lava Lizard ran past and tried to slash her, before she slashed a Chiller's chest with her right claw, then she spun around and hit another's with her left one. She turned and hit two Lava Lizards with them both, before she shoved them away, sending them flying, before they hit the ground. She soon stood by a cliff face and banged it with her right claw, causing large rocks to fall around her.
"Can you ice cubes dig this?" she joked, as she whacked several away with her claws.
One by one, the rocks hit a Chiller each, shattering them to pieces.
Rose did a side flip to her left with her weapon, which was a white water gun, with a silver point, while dodging a Chiller's blast, then did another to avoid another's blast, which made sparks come up from the ground. She rolled over ones back as it bent down, then spun around and kicked another's club, before she dived away to avoid a third's blast. She rolled over along the ground, then got up and turned, before two Lava Lizards fired lasers from their mouths, but she back flipped away as they created an explosion near her.
"Drive Geyser!" she shouted, before she aimed and fired it. "Hyah!"
The water blast hit the ground behind the Lava Lizards, knocking them both up via an explosion.
Jazz spun around with her weapon, which resembled a short-handle, double-bladed axe, slashing two Lava Lizards with it as she did, knocking them away.
"Drive Axe!" she shouted.
She turned and slashed a Chiller down the chest with it, knocking it away, then she spun around and tackled another as it came at her, before she jumped away. She rolled along the ground, then turned and threw her axe away, which hit and sliced three Chillers to pieces, before it shot back towards her, and she caught it.
Mack's headlights lit up, before an image of the compress showed up behind him on a dial.
"Revline time!" he shouted, holding his lance sideways.
A image of a large red dump truck appeared behind him, as he dashed forward and slashed two Lava Lizards with his lance, before he skidded to a halt, as they blew up.
A little later, he slashed another down the chest with it, as Rose hit a Chiller with her geyser, while Ronny slashed another with both her claws as she ducked down. Behind him, Will hit two with his slammer, while Dax held up his vortex, and Jazz slashed one with her axe, before all the foot soldiers blew up.
A little later, Mr. Hartford was thrown away by Moltor.
"AH!" he yelled, flipping forward.
He hit the ground on his chest, before Moltor came over and pulled him up by the arm.
"Give me the crown!" he demanded.
A blast suddenly hit his chest, sending him flying away.
"AHH!" he moaned, hitting the ground.
Mr. Hartford turned and saw the Rangers running towards him.
"Dad!" Mack gasped, holding his blaster.
"Mr. Hartford!" Dax said.
Mack got in front of his dad, as the others gathered around him, before they turned to Moltor. (Jazz was between Ronny and Mr. Hartford)
"Back off!" Mack warned, holding his blaster up.
Three Lava Lizards approached Moltor, one holding the crown, before he took it.
"Finally, the crown is mine!" he declared, holding it up.
The Rangers and Mr. Hartford turned right, seeing Spencer coming over, who clutched his arm.
"I'm sorry, sir. They overpowered me." he explained.
"The choice is yours, Rangers." Moltor said. "Go after me and the crown, or..."
He turned left and shot a bolt of lighting from his forehead, which hit a nearby hill, starting a flow of lava, which moved towards the nearby city.
"NO!" Mack cried.
"...or save the city below." Moltor said. "You wanna be heroes, be heroes!"
He turned around and vanished with his Lava Lizards.
(The city)
"AH!" people screamed.
A street full of them all turned and ran off as the lava moved towards them.
(The valley)
"Dad, what do we do?" Mack asked, turning to him.
The others did the same, as Mr. Hartford kept staring at the lava, not knowing what to do yet.

A/N: The idea for Jazz's background is due to the fact that as the Rangers travel around the world, I thought having a language expert might come in handy and make it better.
I had considered making Jazz white at first, but then after looking at their suits - which are mostly white down the middle - I decided against that. As such, in order to use purple, the Crane Driver's shade will be lighter than normal. I will however use white for her secondary Zord.
Emily Barclay is a British-born New Zealand actress, who's mostly worked on British, Australian and New Zealand productions, so if you don't know her, sorry. That's why I've let her use her Kiwi accent. Some of her roles however include other Disney era Power Ranger actors.
