Chapter 1

"Neeks, wake up."

I turn around and see Will Solace shaking my arm. I groan. "What do you want?"

"Chiron asked us to meet with him. Come out once you get ready. And I'll be waiting outside to make sure you don't use Underworld magic." Will looks at me sternly.

"Fine." I get up as Will leaves Cabin 13. I groan and stand, stretching like a cat. I go to the bathroom that is connected to my sleeping area. I mean, it's only mine because I have no siblings, Hazel and Bianca excluded.

I almost start crying at the thought of Bianca, but I don't. I don't spend long getting ready, I only need to make myself look presentable.

As I head to leave and meet up with Will to talk with Chiron, I grab my aviator jacket. The jacket was a gift from Bianca, and that means I always have it with me. Same with my sword, but I always have it on me in ring form, when I'm not using it.

As I go outside Will notices me and joins me. As we walk toward the Big House, I ask Will a question that has been bugging me.

"What does Chiron want?"

Will shrugged. Helpful much, I thought as Will continued. "I don't really know, but it must be important.

By this point in our conversation, we were already at the Big House. Will knocks, because he is a gentleman.

"Come in," Chiron calls to us.

We walk in and I'm immediately on edge. There is a man I have never seen before sitting with Chiron. His clothing is strange and he is extremely old. Like, he would be dead if he was a mortal being…

That's when it hits me. This man is a wizard. That was the only explanation. The ghosts of wizards had caused dad a lot of paperwork. So much paperwork he decided to actually ask for my help with them.

"Boys," Chiron starts, "this is Albus Dumbledore. He is a son of Hecate and is the headmaster of Ho-"

More proof this man was a wizard. I cut Chiron off. "Let me guess. He's the headmaster of Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?"

"How did you know that young man?" The guy, Albus, asked.

I huff. "Your world has given my father so much work that he asked me to help him. He said that usually he wouldn't tell me about wizards, but you guys are so much trouble. I'm surprised he didn't have to get anyone else to help." I mumble the last sentence to myself.

Albus' eyes widen, "A son of Hades?" Then he seemed contemplative, and finally nodded his head. "I didn't think your father had any children, but your skills would be helpful."

"I mean," I start saying, deciding to mess with this man, "father hasn't had any kids since the 20s."

Albus looks like he is about to ask about that, but Will beats him to it. "What do you mean by 'Witchcraft and Wizardry?'"

I start explaining, "From what my dad told me Hecate blessed some of her followers. She gave her followers, or pet group, as my father likes to call them, their own world. It is known as the Wizarding World. The wizards don't know that the gods are real though. Nowadays, wizards are only descendants of those blessed by Hecate and Hecate's children."

Will seemed to understand. "And I was probably chosen to go because I'm a healer. Why are we going to Hecate's 'pet world'."

"Well," Albus started, "there is a boy named Harry Potter who was meant to kill Voldemort-"

A growl escapes my throat at the name. He had made the most paperwork of all. "I would love to kill that man."

Albus continues, "We would like for you to protect him from Voldemort. Harry has faced the man twice in the last two years. Plus, Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban. He likely holds grudges."

I laugh. Everyone in the room looks at me. "I'm sorry, but you accuse Sirius Black of holding grudges? Laughable. Sirius Black is in no way a threat to this 'Harry Potter' character."

Albus quirks an eyebrow, "How do you know that?"

"Let's just say," I cautiously begin, "being a son of Hades has its perks."

Albus continues on after that cryptic remark, "Well, my mother wants you to protect Harry Potter, as he is part of the prophecy to vanquish Voldemort. And I personally want you to help protect him as the dangers of the Wizarding World are great, and I made the mistake of sending him to live with muggles. He does not know anything about the Wizarding World apart from what we teach at Hogwarts, which is not sufficient. But, you do not need to go."

I nod, "I'll go. I don't have plans for after summer, so why not." I shrug with the final words.

"I'll go as well," Will announced. "I can heal people if they get hurt."

Albus nods. "My mother said that if the two Chiron picked accepted she would come one week before Hogwarts starts and bless you with knowledge of the Wizarding World. She also asked me to give you these," Albus holds his hand out. There are two letters. I reach out and take one, Will mirroring my actions.

An hour later, I'm laying on my bed. Hecate will come a little over a week after camp ends. So, instead of waiting for Hecate to come, Albus told us that he would give us a place to stay in the Wizarding World. That way we can just leave when camp ends.

The next week passes relatively normally. But, with the end of the week comes the end of summer. Everyone in The Seven that are at camp half-blood, plus all of the Apollo cabin, came to wish us farewell. Albus comes to 'apparate' us, whatever that means.

"Put your hands on my arm." Once we complied, Albus did something with his wand.

Then we were gone. Apparition felt like my molecules were being torn apart and put back together. It hurt and I hated it.

"Welcome to the Leaky Cauldron!" Albus announced.
