Attention artists
I really didn't want to wright up this quick little message but frankly I am sick and tired of being bothered by constant requests from random artists for me to use their services.
Firstly, I wish to say, I know money is tight all around and likely only going to get tighter with the dorito man back running the US into the ground and slaping everyone with tariffs and you have my sympathy if your having money issues. You have even more of my sympathy if your American its bad enough for the rest of us in the rest of the world. I cant imagine what you might be going through
But I am not a bank and my days are hiring randos who pester me are well and truly done.
Important notice I will not be hiring anyone new until after may of this year
You may inform me of your services but if you do, you must met the below criteria
I will only hire an artist who meet the fallowing conditions
1: you must have some kind profile or art page I can view. Weather it is on DA, artstation or some were else. I must be able view your previous work before I hire you. (this dose not extend to having said page on face book, twitter/x or tumbler. Any sight that requires me to make an account with that sight to view its contents will not be tolerated)
1.5 I will not become a member of your Patrion to merely view your work. If I elect to hire your. That is my payment.
1.8 if you are on da, artstaion or other such account were I can view your work. You must maintain that page for a period of 1 year after you contact me. Whether I hire you or not. Anyone who creates an amount purely to contact me and then delete it after I have hired you. Will be black listed and ignored
2: you must have a price sheet which includes examples of what costs what and what if any rules or exclusions you have. Such as weather or not your willing to do NSFW and what level that may extend, either your limit is mere nudity or fully blown sex and any other rules you have must be clearly stated
2.5 if you offer comics as part of your service's. the pricing for how many panels I get per page and what a page may cost must be clearly stated. (this incudes any price increase for extra characters, and NSFW)
3: if you are able to create 3d models (for 3ed printing) you must have an account on my mini facory, www .cgtrader. com or cult3d or some other sight were I can view your work. Including a link
3.5 if you offer 3d models, there must be a price sheet for these as well, the rules from 2/ 2.5 apply. Also the STL files must be readable in chitubox
4: you must be ok with half or part payments. Or a payment plan. For example if a project costs 500 usd, you must be ok with at least 100 doller usd bi-weekly payment. A monthly payment would be preferred but I understand that's asking a lot
5: if I am hiring you for the first time I expect work to be completed with in 2 to three mouths. If you are unable to complete the work I asked for in a manner that I am satisfied with I will black list you.
5.5 if we have worked together enough times to that I have a level of trust in you. I can extend time upwards to 6 months with an upper limit of 1 year. However I must hear something from you every month or so. Any lengthy delays, especially those with out contact. Will erode my trust
6: im ok with some interpretation of my instructions, espeaily if you have creative input that may improve a picture. But my instructions are the bed rock and if they are ingored especially repeatedly. I am with in my rights to block and blacklist you
6.5 I often use Microsoft paint or hero forge to create a model and sketch of a character. For goodness sake don't just trace either the later or the fromer. If im paying your to draw art for me, draw art. Use your common sense
