This is a complete rewrite of my Grand Theft Auto: Mayhem story which has so many inconsistencies which pissed me off so much. I decided to redo it from scratch to put more focus on the OC and the Yakuza's expansion into San Andreas and for it to make sense but will pretty much remain the same story. The year will be 2013 just like GTA 5 and will be an AU of the game. However, it will have the seriousness, grittiness and violence of Sons of Anarchy to balance out the GTA style humor. For reference this the GTA 5 version of Los Santos with elements from GTA: SA thrown in and San Fierro and Las Venturas will also be locations. As for the Sons of Anarchy Los Santos chapter President, Vice President, Sergeant-at-arms, Road Captain and Enforcer will be characters from other franchises that are popular. I also would like to point out that when Japanese characters are speaking with each other just imagine it in Japanese as the translations aren't even accurate on Google Translate. When they're speaking to non-Japanese characters then it'll be English story is rated M for people getting killed, gang violence, racist jokes and stereotypes, gore, torture and sex scenes and any characters or music from other franchises or artists that appear are the rightful properties of their owners.
Chapter 1: New Beginnings
*001 by Free Flow Flava plays in the background*
-Yakuza owned restaurant, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo Japan-
It was a bustling and busy night in the largest metropolis on the planet. It was about 8 P.M. at night and we see various citizens moving fast through the many crowds on Tokyo's streets, many of which were heading home after a long day at work for the weekend or the local school kids just hanging out relaxing with one another. We are then focused on the world-famous Shibuya crossing and once the green light was given the locals all began to cross the large street.
The view is then immediately switched to large restaurant and showcases a building that had a sign reading ''くろがねラウンジ." Translated to English the building was called ''Kurogane lounge'' and we are shown a room at the back of the establishment where two Japanese men clad in business suits were talking at a table in a well lit room with bonsai trees on the shelves. Around them were several more men wearing suits as well as shades and they were standing around the two men at the table as if they were their bodyguards or something.
''Ken Morimitsu? That young man will always be the most and feared enforcer we've ever had.'' said the older of the two men. This man was Takeshi Kurogane, the Oyabun (boss) of the Kurogane-gumi, the largest and most dominant of Japan's Yakuza organizations, ''He made such a powerful choice joining our ranks at just 18 years old, he was made for this life as it was with his father."
The mission Takeshi was speaking of occurred ten years ago when he assigned this Ken to assassinate the Oyabun of another Yakuza family, the Hanabishi-kai for control of Tokyo. The mission, however, took a turn for the worst when Ken ended up massacring every member of the Hanabishi-kai. It got worse when a few police officers responded, and Ken ended up killing one in the crossfire. He was eventually surrounded and was apprehended. The jury pushed for the death penalty but the judge at his trial was on the Kurogane's payroll and was spared both the death and life sentences thanks to his gang's strong connections to the country's justice system.
''I have to agree, but the Hanabishi-kai being wiped out earned him a reputation so frightening even our enemies all the way in Okinawa or even Hokkaido would try to take him out.'' said the other gangster.
Takeshi nodded in agreement.
''Exactly, I've been thinking of a way to keep Ken and the gang safe from other enemies when he is released in a month.''
''He's like what? 28 now? What will you do once he's released?'' asked the other member.
The Oyabun thought about his decision for a good minute before he snapped his fingers. Now he had a look of excitement and there was one thing he wanted the Kurogane family to do, being the biggest and most influential gang in Japan there were no other territories he would be interested in except elsewhere.
''I got it now; we've been talking about expanding our influence and turf into the United States right?''
''The United States? Yes, I remember we talked about it a lot since Ken went to prison, what part of it do you want to send him to and why?''
''It's real simple Haneda, firstly, let me answer the first part of your question. I will send him to the City of Saints in San Andreas, Los Santos. Secondly, as I've said Ken won't have to worry about other rivals trying to get him in America. I also know that he was so reliant on us before being locked up, so I want this to be his chance to start his own crew in America, basically a splinter group of the Kurogane-gumi.'' Takeshi answered.
Haneda raised his eyebrows at his boss's plan of sending Ken to Los Santos but...
''I've read on the eyefind that Los Santos and the San Andreas area alone is ridden with crime ranging from street gangs to other organized crime groups. The Mexican cartels, the Hong Kong Triads, outlaw motorcycle clubs as well as the Russian, Irish and Italian mafia call the state home Takeshi-san. I don't think it would be safe for Ken to start his own crew there with all these potential enemies.'' Haneda interjected.
Takeshi lightly chuckled at Haneda's worries and patted him on the shoulder.
''Ah Haneda, don't worry so much, you know that if Ken can take out an entire enemy gang I'm sure these groups won't be a problem for him. We're going to send him there to expand Yakuza influence since none of the other families have tried or wanted to. An area as large as San Andreas is perfect for us to start spreading outside of Asia. Besides, his younger brother did go through his initiation into the Kurogane-gumi.''
''Brother? Oh, that's right, Ken does have a sibling. Yes, I recall he went through the recent initiation.'' Haneda said incredulously.
Takeshi smiled inwardly, he tried to persuade Ken's younger brother, Keiichi from joining but the younger sibling was eager to join the ranks alongside his brother which was indeed an honorable and admirable trait that is respected.
Haneda wondered what Keiichi would do to contribute since Keiichi was more reserved than Ken and their opposite personalities would make for an interesting dynamic. Ken was always the more assertive and aggressive one.
''What I plan on doing is since Ken is coming out in one month I will have you, Keiichi and several dozen of our men to head into San Andreas to get things prepared for him. I will pick him up when released and brief him on the situation. More men will arrive steadily to help give you guys manpower as well and I will send weapons too.'' Takeshi said.
The younger Japanese mobster raised his eyebrows in shock.
''Takeshi-san, please forgive me but what do you mean you'll have me and Keiichi head into San Andreas? You mean we're going to join him in expanding Kurogane's influence? Like laying the groundwork and he runs it from there?'' Haneda asked in disbelief.
''Yes, you knew Ken and Keiichi's parents and I feel you would be the right choice in guiding them, especially Ken in running his own Yakuza operations in San Andreas. Better yet, I would like for you and Keiichi to pack your things and get on a flight to America. The moment you land in San Andreas you are no longer under my leadership. You and Ken will be autonomous and I trust you will do well in establishing a foothold for the Kurogane in San Andreas. You'll start in Los Santos first understood?''
Haneda was now in his mid 30s and served as Takeshi's adviser for years, but this felt like a new thing to him as he didn't know if he would be a good mentor to Ken. Understanding the responsibilities he will face together with the two brothers, mostly Ken it could prove to be a valuable learning experience for him despite his advisory role. The two men would discuss further before eventually Haneda took his leave to prepare for Ken's arrival in Los Santos.
Takeshi was left alone in the room and casually produces a cigarette. He lights it up and takes a few puffs of it.
''Ken Morimitsu, I have never met a young man with such dedication and drive. You are the reason the Kurogane-gumi is the strongest Yakuza organization in Japan and I am grateful for it. But times are different now and you are better off starting fresh in San Andreas. Haneda will be there to guide you, and Keiichi will do what he can to help you. Expand our influence and make us as powerful in San Andreas like you did here.''
-Los Santos International Airport, Los Santos, San Andreas, one month later-
A Japan Airlines plane was seen landing at LSX airfield before pulling up to a free jet bridge. Once it comes to a complete halt the view switches to the airport terminal and the passengers all exit the Japanese aircraft and many of whom were revealed to be Americans who had returned home from visitin Japan. Once the waves of people pouring out of the jet bridge ceased one man slowly emerged from the entryway and into the terminal.
He was a Japanese man standing at about 6'1'', had a muscular build and was wearing a black business suit complete with a tie and shades. He had medium length hair combed neatly to the right slightly and a blank look on his face as he looked around the airport and his luggage consisted of a duffel bag on his back and a suitcase. This man was none other than Ken Morimitsu himself in the flesh. After being released from prison he was picked up by his Oyabun and after a brief reunion with his boss and mentor he was told of the task Takeshi wanted him to do.
Of course, being the loyal enforcer he was he accepted his Oyabun's proposal of having him starting and becoming the head of his own crew and be the Oyabun of his own crew and spread the Kurogane's influence. He was given a brand new iFruit phone as well as a forged I.D. card and immigration papers that should come in handy and told to meet his brother Keiichi and Haneda who have been in Los Santos for the past month. He was also told by Takeshi that there will be several dozen of the Kurogane's soldiers with his brother and Haneda to have some form of presence in the city. He eventually makes his way to the entrance of the airport and sees a grayish Karin Sultan waiting and saw the familiar faces of Keiichi and Haneda who he has not seen in a decade. Evne though his brother was just 10 years old when he was arrested he immediately recognized Keiichi as he was his brother after all.
Keiichi looked very similar to him but with a more innocent appearance and he was wearing a black business suit as well. Haneda wore his usual attire which was a gray suit and his hair was combed neatly but he had a very rugged appearance and a scar on his cheek he got from a rival gang.
Keiichi and Ken locked eyes and Haneda felt the sibling love in the air and watched as Ken walked up to Keiichi and both men hugged each other.
''Welcome back nii-san.'' Keiichi said with pride.
The siblings separated the hug and Ken had to laugh at his brother. Keiichi was only 20 years old and when Ken found out he joined the Kurogane-gumi when Takeshi picked him up he was honestly surprised. He would've had two different reactions depending on the circumstances, he would've told Keiichi to not be like him and go do something with his life and get a real job or the more likely response was him guiding him through this lifestyle.
''Well, well little brother look at you, a shatei!" (little brother)
Keiichi nods. He understood the dangers of being a gangster and the complexities of the Yakuza lifestyle but Ken was always his role model growing up and he knew he had to follow in his brother's footsteps despite the obvious dangers being involved presented.
''I understand any anger you might feel Ken, but this felt like the only path for me and I want to be by your side to help you build something here.'' admitted Keiichi.
Ken's face softened slightly, he remembered when their parents were murdered by a rival Yakuza family when they were very young due to his family having ties to the Kurogane family. That and he was basically groomed for the lifestyle by his father and despite being a man with such an extensive criminal background he wanted Keiichi to avoid the life. However, he knew he couldn't force Keiichi to stray away from this so he had to accept that his brother would have been drawn in at some point.
''It's fine, you would have been involved at some point no matter if I tried to stop you. Maybe this is the only life we were meant to be in.'' Ken said, a hint of pride and sadness in his voice. Ken then looks at Haneda, a face he remembered from when he performed hits for the Kurogane family, ''It's good to see you again Haneda, it's been a while.''
Haneda and Ken exchange a firm handshake. Ken had respect for Haneda for being Takeshi's adviser and Haneda respected Ken for the amount of work he did for the Kurogane and knowing his mother and father.
''Welcome back Ken and welcome to Los Santos.'' Haneda said with an air of humor.
Ken chuckled, ''Well I'm glad to be here Haneda. So Takeshi-san is serious about expanding into San Andreas? I did a bit of reading on the plane and the area is huge.''
''Hai, we have already set up a spot for you in the Little Tokyo district.'' Haneda and Keiichi motion to the car.
''Come on nii-san, we'll take you there and discuss along the way.'' Keiichi said getting int the driver seat.
Keiichi starts the Karin Sultan and soon they began driving out of the airport and into Los Santos itself. The city's impressive skyline overhead and the massive 'Vinewood' sign on the massive hillside for all to see. They approach a stoplight in the La Puerte area and on their right side in the 4-way intersection the sounds of motorcycles filled the air. Ken, Keiichi and Haneda took notice of this and looked to see a column of Caucasian men riding chopper style motorcycles ranging from Zombie Bobbers, Zombie Choppers, Wolfsbanes and Western Daemons. When the light for the bikers turns green they revved their bikes, their engines roaring menacingly in tandem before riding away into the on-ramp and made their way into the turnpike.
The trio observed the men, and Ken was intrigued by the sight. He took notice of their attire and saw on the back of their leather kuttes it had a grim reaper holding a scythe with an M16 as the handle holding a crystal ball with the letter 'A' on it. On the kuttes it said 'Sons of Anarchy' on top, 'MC' on the right side of the back and 'Los Santos' at the bottom. Eventually the column of bikers rode away and soon their light turned green and they continued on their merry way but were being watched by the three Yakuza gangsters.
-Little Tokyo District-
After 15 minutes of driving the trio made their way to a building somewhere within Little Tokyo. Little Tokyo was a very small district compared to the others in the city and was one of the nicer places within Los Santos. Though that would be changing real soon as the Yakuza establishes influence in the area.
Driving up to the building Ken saw that it was nice and pleasant looking with a combination of modern and traditional Japanese aesthetics, but the sign was written in Japanese characters with the translation of the restaurant's name under it. Pulling up the employee's only parking lot Ken, Keiichi and Haneda got out the Karin Sultan and guided Ken to the front entrance. They slowly walked over to the front doors and Ken marveled at how lovely the front of the building looked. It was a modern building with a Japanese touch to it. The Rising Sun was the restaurant's name and was written in both English and Japanese characters. The Japanese flag's sun symbol behind the words Rising Sun made it beautiful and eye catching to look at. The icing on the cake was the big cherry blossom that was near the entrance adding a layer of beauty to the restaurant and Ken had to say, he really liked it.
Keiichi looked at his brother with a smile.
''So? What do you think Ken?'' asked the younger sibling.
Ken whistled in response.
''I'm impressed Keiichi, Haneda. Takeshi-san mentioned to me that he sent a couple dozen men with you to help set up shop and this is it? I like it as a restaurant would be the perfect start for future ventures.''
Haneda would be the next to step up and speak.
''Hai, we decided on a restaurant because well, why not?'' he said humorously.
Keiichi goes to open the door and motions for Ken to head in. Ken smiles and does so with Haneda following suit and the interior caught Ken off guard. For a second there he thought he was back in Japan because the physical aesthetics. He also took notice of the staff who were putting the final touches to the interior before opening night. Ken didn't even have to ask why there were so many staff as these were men Takeshi sent to help Keiichi and Haneda and to provide the base for Ken's manpower.
''This is really nice it feels like I'm back in Tokyo. If I was knocked unconscious and woke up here I would've thought I was back home.'' Ken joked earning a resounding laugh from Keiichi and Haneda.
''Of course! We thought it would be a good idea so the residents of this city can really get a taste and feel of the Land of the Rising Sun.'' Keiichi chimed in.
''We aim to have a true authentic Japanese experience not only in the cuisine, but the decor as well.'' Haneda added.
Ken took notice of how beautiful and intricate the artwork on the walls looked as well as the designs on the walls that had Amaterasu, the sun Goddess of Shinto. The floor, instead of the usual tables and chairs there were chabudai adding more to the authentic Japanese experience. Ken seriously loved the place already and knows it'll be a huge hit in Los Santos and would make them a lot of money. Keiichi and Haneda motion for Ken to follow him to the back of the establishment and as they walked pass the staff members they all gave Ken a bow of respect. He understood they knew who he was as he was one of the most intimidating and violent enforcers of the Kurogane-gumi. Ken didn't respond to his men, they already knew he acknowledged their show of respect. Eventually they made it into the back of the restaurant labeled 'Employees' only that was past the kitchen and was taken to a hallway that had several doors on both sides of it.
There was a door at the end of the hallway, Keiichi and Haneda continued walking toward the door prompting Ken to follow suit and when they reached it Keiichi and Haneda stepped to the side of the door and motion for Ken to open it.
''Go ahead, open it.'' Keiichi said.
Ken walks up to the door and grabs the knob and twists it. He opens the door and was greeted by a rather extravagant looking office that was as beautifully designed like the restaurant's interior. It had a map of San Andreas on the wall behind the chair and desk with katanas in their sheaths displayed proudly on the walls. The walls were painted to include Amaterasu, Mizuchi and a rather ominous image, the Shinigami. Ken chuckled at how nice his office was and was joined by Keiichi and Haneda a second later.
''We knew you'd like your office.'' Haneda chimed in.
''You sure know how to make me feel at home.'' Ken chuckled.
Ken walked over to his desk and looked at the brand-new computer monitor sitting on it and various pens and other essentials any desk in an office would have. This was the perfect place to be his crew's headquarters.
Ken sat on the chair and took a moment to get a feel for it and he wondered if this is how Takeshi-san felt at his desk in the Kurogane's headquarters in Shibuya.
Keiichi and Haneda didn't say anything and just watched Ken with amusement. What Takeshi-san mentioned to them before they came to San Andreas a month ago was that not only will the crew they build together be an indirect way of expanding the Kurogane-gumi's influence, but it was also Ken's own crew who will act autonomously from the Kurogane with Ken as the Oyabun.
''So nii-san, since we're our own crew separate and autonomous from Kurogane what it would be called?'' Keiichi asked curiously.
Ken placed a thumb on his finger and gave that stipulation a bit of thought. They'd still be connected to the Kurogane-gumi but will be acting autonomously. There was something that he actually had in mind and since he will be the Oyabun and Keiichi will be involved he thought of the perfect name.
''How does Morimitsu-kai sound?'' Ken said with a smirk.
Haneda smirked and let out a light chuckle while Keiichi went smiled and rolled his eyes.
''That makes sense nii-san, I mean you have two Morimitsu guys in the crew.'' Keiichi laughed.
''I agree, it makes the most sense and it shows its connection to you.'' Haneda added.
Ken relished in how nice the chair felt and after having his moment he then sported a serious look on his face as it was now time to get down to business.
''Okay you two let's get down to business. Takeshi-san told me you guys have been here a little over a month before I got released and that you two will not only build this restaurant to get us started. Given that I don't know anything about this state have you two done any research to criminal organizations here?''
Keiichi looked at Haneda and both nodded to each other before Keiichi took out a small notepad from his top's pocket and looked it over.
''Yes nii-san. Since we've been here for the past month we've taken the time to search on eyefind about crime here. I'll start in Los Santos since well, obviously we're starting in this city to spread the Kurogane's influence so here it goes. First and foremost, there are four major street gangs here scattered throughout Los Santos. First there is the Grove Street Families which is a black gang within the South Central and South Los Santos area of the city and are known for wearing green as their color. They are known for carjackings, vandalism and gang related homicide.'' Keiichi explained.
Ken raised an eyebrow at this as he was more familiar with other organized crime groups, specifically rival Yakuza factions than street gangs who were considered inferior to more organized groups in the criminal pecking order.
''That's interesting. What are the other gangs in Los Santos?''
''There's another black gang called the One-niners whose territory is split with that of the Grove Street gang and you can imagine this causes conflict. These two are rivals and the One-niners wear purple as their color. Another street gang that is found in the Vespucci beach area where the Little Saigon neighborhood would be the Cambodian Hit Squad and has been around since the early 1980s. They are known for home invasions and illegal street racing. They are known for using machetes and the first generation were war refugees.''
''Cambodians huh? I've heard and read about the Killing Fields, truly horrifying. '' Ken said.
Haneda nodded in agreement and chipped in his two cents.
''Yes Ken from our research on eyefind the Cambodian gang started to protect themselves from the fourth major gang in Los Santos which is the Los Santos Vagos, commonly referred to as East Side Vagos since they hail from East Los Santos. The Vagos picked on the Cambodians when they first came to America and are very racist to them and these guys are Mexicans.'' Haneda explained.
''Correct, the Vagos are sworn enemies of both the Grove Street Families and the Hit Squad. Grove Street and the Hit Squad are enemies with the One-niners too but that doesn't compare with the rivalry they both share with the Vagos.'' Keiichi concluded.
Ken took in the information and nodded his head. He expected organized crime to be his main contender but now with the information his brother and Haneda were providing it was also possible these four gangs could be potential allies or enemies.
''Very well, what about organized crime in Los Santos? Anything in San Fierro and the surrounding communities?''
Keiichi flipped over his notepad before continuing.
''Moving on to organized crime Los Santos has a few organizations. First there's the Galindo Cartel who control the city's drug trade and have territory in East Los Santos and that overlaps with neighborhoods the Vagos are in. Next is the Kruschevskeya Brotherhood which is the city's Russian mafia crew who own the night club in Vinewood and are believed to be involved in the gunrunning market. Next up is the Capone Crime Family which is the Italian mafia operating not just in Los Santos, but the entirety of San Andreas too with a major presence in Las Venturas. From what I gathered the Italians have a tight grip on the restaurant scene in the Tongva Valley region and the blue-collar worker scene. They are the strongest criminal organization in all of San Andreas so we must tread carefully and approach with caution. Last but not least the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club which have territory in the Hawick area where their base is called a clubhouse. They are smaller than the Galindo cartel and both the Russian and Italian mafia but they are known for being brawlers. The Sons own an auto repair shop and a tattoo parlor and are known for street fights, motorcycle theft as well as running protection and have been known to be muscle for hire. To reiterate they are smaller than the others but vicious when provoked.''
The image of seeing the Sons of Anarchy riding by them near the airport earlier came into Ken's head and for some reason he found the Sons intriguing. He already knew about Mexican drug cartels and the Italians and Russian mafias but he never heard of Motorcycle Clubs before.
''Those were the bikers we saw earlier. Tell me more about the Sons of Anarchy.'' Ken instructed.
''Alright, the Sons of Anarchy is what they call an outlaw motorcycle club and considered by the various law enforcement agencies in America as an organize crime group and have referred to them as the mafia on wheels. They have a long history of being involved in organized crime and aren't allied with any of the other factions. Biker gangs are known for strong loyalty and brotherhood among their members. They are similar as they have their versions of mafia families called chapters and the Los Santos chapter is referred to as SAMLOS by the LSPD.'' Keiichi explained before looking up, ''Are you thinking of reaching out to the Sons as potential allies?''
Ken nodded in response.
''Precisely, like you said they value loyalty and brotherhood which are two things I admire.''
Haneda didn't know why but he liked where Ken was going with this and smiled.
''I think I agree with Ken Keiichi. Our research in the past month suggests Sons of Anarchy are not aligned with any other group so maybe it would be best to reach out to them before anyone else can. First come, first serve as they say.'' Haneda chuckled.
Keiichi understood what Haneda meant and yeah, he had to agree.
''I see, so nii-san how do you plan on reaching out to them?''
Ken already had an answer to his brother's question since there is a new Japanese restaurant opening up in the Little Tokyo district and with opening night a few days away that was enough time to distribute flyers around the city.
''It would make sense for us to send our men around Los Santos to put flyers up all over Los Santos. Especially in the area the Son's clubhouse is it would get their attention indeed. If they come in during opening night we can have our staff bring them to the back for a 'Private Dining Experience'. I can then introduce myself and explain who I am, who the Kurogane and Morimitsu-kai is and propose an alliance with them. They have no allies and we don't since we just showed up, so it makes sense.'' Ken explained.
''Hai, considering they only work with other Sons chapters. Especially the Saint Denis, Vice City and Liberty City chapters it would be wise for them to have a Yakuza connection since that'll give them access to resources and other things they might not have.'' Keiichi said, ''Do you want me to move on to San Fierro and the neighboring areas?''
Ken nodded and motioned for Keiichi to go on.
''Very well. In San Fierro up north there are also criminal organizations. The Irish mob runs a sawmill in the outskirts of San Fierro and are believed to be supplied with weapons by the Irish Republican Army which is considered a terrorist organization.'' Keiichi said before he looked at Ken, ''Do you remember the Kurogane's ties to the 18K Triads from Hong Kong? They actually have operations in San Fierro and their territory is Chinatown who would've guessed. The Triads run various betting shops and they own an all you can eat buffet under the city's main bridge called the Gant Bridge.''
Ken raised his eyebrows at the notion of the 18K Triad with whom the Kurogane has ties to being in San Fierro.
''That's very interesting there's no doubt they are a big candidate for being allies so it shouldn't be hard to start a partnership. Also, the Irish mob are being supplied by a paramilitary organization means they pack serious firepower. We should approach them with caution.'' said the older sibling.
''Agree, moving on to Blaine County there's another motorcycle club based in the town of Sandy Shores called the Mayans MC who are sworn enemies of the Sons. They are known for being reckless and uncompromising and believed to have ties to the Galindo cartel. We should be cautious with these guys due to their reckless behavior.'' Keiichi explained.
''Hai, I don't like the sounds of that but we shall see what happens if we encounter them.'' Ken said.
''I'm with you on that. Los Santos PD believes the Mayans transport drugs like weed and cocaine into Los Santos in exchange for weapons by the Galindos. Nearby in rural Flint County, often referred to as 'Redneck' country has a group called the Ku Klux Klan or KKK for short. Now these guys are extreme as they are a solely white hate group who have murdered people throughout the years who aren't white. They are known for hate crimes, terrorist threats and lynchings. There's another biker gang there called the Angels of Death MC who are at war with the KKK and run meth through the entirety of Flint County.'' Keiichi concluded.
''Oh great, racist hooded rats. I would never ally with racists.'' Ken said rolling his eyes, ''Also, what the hell does redneck even mean?''
Keiichi shrugged, ''Beats me, but let's move on to Las Venturas up north. This city has a long history of mob connections and is full of casinos and other gambling establishments. Maybe we can start a casino there one day? There's also a few more groups there with a fourth biker gang called The Lost MC, two latino street gangs called Marabunte Grande 13 which is full of Salvadorean immigrants and the Asociacion Zetas, a group that originates from that small island in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico and came from its prison system. Then there's the Capone Crime Family I mentioned earlier who own a casino called Fettucine Fortunes on the Strip. They also own a butcher shop there too on the west side of Las Venturas.'' Keiichi said before looking up at Ken, ''That's all I got so far.''
Haneda then stepped up to speak his part.
''You mentioned you want to reach out to the Sons of Anarchy with flyers. That really does make sense and it is better than going to their territory since they could take it the wrong way.''
''We'll print out flyers and have the staff distribute them throughout the entire city like I mentioned earlier. Flyers will surely make their way into the hands of the Sons.'' Ken said.
Keiichi and Haneda agreed and after printing out hundreds and hundreds of flyers they handed it out to some of Ken's foot soldiers who weren't dressed as the restaurant staff and the Yakuza members got into their cars which consisted of a mix of Maibatsu Penumbras and Karin Sultans. Then they all headed out to advertise the new restaurant. What the general public would never know is that the Rising Sun was owned by the Morimitsu-kai and by extension, the Kurogane-gumi and would be the Yakuza in San Andreas's main base of operations at the moment.
-Unknown ranch, outskirts of Los Santos, a several days later-
On the outskirts of Los Santos there was a large ranch that was on the side of the road situated on a small hill that towered over the road. It had several buildings and the main one was a large house that looked like it could fit a few families. The public never had access to the land as it was considered private property. What the public thought was just a big Mexican family living on the ranch they would not see the group of armed gunmen walking around the property and standing guard at the doors. and entrances to the land.
In the main house sat a Mexican man with neatly combed hair and a mustache and beard sitting at a desk in his office drinking coffee and eating tacos. His name was Miguel Galindo, head of the Galindo cartel's Los Santos faction. Him and his men run the illegal drug trade in the city and their territory was in the Eastern portions of the city with their own restaurant, the 'Quesarido Bar & Grille' acting as the cartel's legitimate business and one of their cocaine stashes. Compared to the likes of the Kruschevskeya Brotherhood and the Capone Crime Family the Galindo had a strong grip on their territory.
While Miguel ate and drank his lunch there was a knock on the door.
''Come in.'' Miguel instructed with authority.
The door opened and in walked one of his enforcers.
''Miguel sir, I have something to show you.'' the cartel enforcer walked up to the desk where Miguel was sitting and handed the piece of paper. Miguel took it and saw that it was a flyer promoting a new restaurant in town called the Rising Sun.
Miguel could tell by the design from the photos of the restaurant it didn't appear to be Chinese or something the 18K Triads in San Fierro would own. It looked cleaner and the characters seemed different from the Cantonese he associated with the Triad.
''A new restaurant? This looks Japanese.'' Miguel said.
''Si, this is unexpected sir.'' the enforcer said in agreement, ''You said it looks Japanese? Doesn't Japan have their own version of the mafia? Do you think this restaurant is owned and connected to them?''
Miguel looked over the flyer for a few more seconds before setting it down. He looked to his enforcer and shook his head.
''This might be a problem because if this restaurant opens if could eat into our profits. However, considering this is Japanese themed we should see if it does indeed have connections with the Yakuza. It is strange since Los Santos never had any big Japanese restaurant and never had a Yakuza presence. We should observe first as tonight is the grand opening.''
Little did Miguel and the Galindo cartel know was that not only was the grand opening of a legit establishment, but it was also a tactic that Ken is using to draw the Sons of Anarchy MC in to propose an alliance between them and the Morimitsu-kai, an alliance that can create a sense of unbalance in the San Andreas criminal landscape.

Ken, Keiichi and Haneda were seen back at the Rising Sun to help the staff who were working endlessly to finish giving the restaurant its final touches. After doing so there was something Ken also wanted to inquire about weapons. They were out all day helping give out the flyers and now that they've run out it was time to go over one final thing, their weapons arsenal.
''You guys already informed me of potential allies and enemies so please tell me what we have for firepower?'' Ken asked curiously.
Keiichi looked at Haneda and both men smiled. They motioned for Ken to follow them down the hallway and went into one of the storage rooms that were further down the hallway away from the public eye. Keiichi takes a key and unlocks before turning to Ken.
''Head on inside and see for yourself.'' said the younger sibling.
Doing what he was told Ken walks in just as Haneda turns the light on and Ken saw a room full of crates and gun racks. There were various firearms in the crates ranging from HK USP pistols in .45 ACP, Beretta 92s, Desert Eagles and SIG Sauer series. On the weapon racks against the walls there were shotguns, mostly Benelli M4 semi-automatics. Adding to the rack were several dozen Uzis and HK MP5A3s which were some of the best submachine guns on the market. Finishing of the lineup on the racks were various rifles ranging from AK-47s, Howa Type 89 rifles, M16A4s and M4 Carbines. In some of the crates were suppressors for all the weapons giving them the option for quieter takedowns if needed.
''This is impressive, but I shouldn't be surprised Takeshi-san managed to smuggle this out of Japan. The man is connected and knows what he's doing.'' Ken whistled.
Ken then walked up to the weapons rack and noticed the M4s and M16s had AN/PSQ-23s lasers on them. Some had ACOG scopes, and a few had M68 Close Combat Optics attached. Ken picks up a Howa rifle with both the laser and optic on and grabbing a magazine from a nearby pelican case he loads the magazine and pulls the charging handle back loading a round into the chamber. He then aims it and looks through the optic for a second before turning to face Keiichi and Haneda with a blank expression.
A split second later, a smile slowly forms on his face.
