Chapter Two: Day 1 And Night 1

January 30th, 2012

Tyler stood before the restaurant, a smile on his face. Checking the time, he made his way into the pizzeria, knowing in a few short hours, he'd be taking the night shift.

It was 9:30. At 10, the restaurant would close, and he'd see his office. In order to stay up tonight, he slept a majority of the day. As he walked to the manager's office, he heard a woman say "This place still gives me the creeps. I hope they shut down...especially after what was revealed to the public."

Tyler raised an eyebrow. What was revealed? What was that supposed to mean? Shaking off the woman's words, he found the manager's office. He gave three polite knocks. Footsteps seemed to echo from inside. The door opened with a noticeable creak.

William stood there with a smile. "Ah, Tyler!" He greeted. "You made it! Ready for your first night as a night guard?"

"For sure Mr. Afton. I'm ready."

"Perfect! Follow me to the office." As they walked to the office, Tyler couldn't help but think of what the job would be like. Was it going to be boring? Eh, probably. Or so he thought...

11:55 AM

As Tyler took in his surroundings, he couldn't help but get an eerie feeling. The doorway was huge and there were two vents in the room. One on each side. He was told that there was a music box on one of the cameras he had to wind up. As he wound it up, he heard My Grandfather's Clock, playing from the camera.

He then saw a Freddy mask on the desk. Tilting his head, he decided to try it on. When he put it on, he could see the office and hear his own breath. He took it off and sighed. "Why would the office need a Freddy mask?" He asked no one. It didn't make sense. Maybe it-

Riiiiiing.

Tyler jumped out of his skin hearing the phone ring. Cursing himself, he was reminded that Mr. Afton mentioned he'd be getting a phone call from some employee. He picked it up. After a few seconds of hearing the voice and trying to communicate, he realized it was a recording.

As he listened, he felt himself become confused. The animatronics walked around at night? Totally ridiculous. As the voice went on, he learned that they'd try to stuff him inside a suit due to a glitch in the system.

He didn't buy it. It sounded like some silly prank. As the clock struck 3, he heard heavy clanking. Rolling his eyes, thinking it was an employee, he turned the camera to the Show Stage...and his blood turned to ice. Bonnie was gone!

"What the-" Tyler tried. Did someone break in and steal it!? "Damn it," Tyler muttered. He got up from his chair and left the office. Investigating the show stage area, he looked around. "Hello?" He called. "Whoever you are, please return the animatronic to the stage. It's illegal to rob a restaurant. Especially for expensive robots."

He turned to Chica staring soullessly. He was about to leave when-

"Hi!" Chica chirped causing Tyler to fall to the ground. "You must be a new friend!" Chica cheered. Tyler began to stutter. "Wait..." Chica paused tilting her head. Her eye flickered to darkness with a small LED light appearing visible. "Where's your suit? That is against the rules. Let's get you fitted up!"

Tyler then got up and did the one thing that he could. He ran back to the office cursing out loud the whole way there.

"This isn't happening," he said to himself freaking out. "This is not happening!" He wished William told him. He'd talk to him after work, but that's assuming he survives. As he ran into the office, he heard a heavy CLANG in the vent to his right. He hit the light and then gasped. Bonnie was staring in. He saw the mask and put it on. In that moment, Bonnie ran in. He looked deep into Tyler's eyes and tilted his head. "Where did he go!?" Bonnie shouted in frustration. He then stormed away.

"That was too close..." Tyler muttered to himself. He then saw a warning sign and turned to the camera. Clicking the light button, he gasped again seeing a strange being rising from a box in the prize corner. Seeing a message that said music box, he pressed the button and heard a winding sound. As soon as the winding stopped, the creature climbed back inside of the box. Tyler heard clanking and was going to put on his mask, until he heard his watch chime.

When Tyler looked at the time, he half expected one of the animatronics to sneak up on him, but they didn't. When he returned to the dining hall, he saw them back on stage. "Did I dream that?" Tyler asked himself hopeful. When he saw a chair lying on the floor, he knew that it wasn't.

Even when he made it home and went to rest, he knew something was going on. And he was going to find out what.
