Softly my eyes shut and I felt the weight of the wind as the scents came together for me. It was truly her. Kaname's one love and the only person who truly mattered to him. When I opened my eyes, I looked down and saw that my hands were lightly shaking. Curling my hands into fists, I let out a breath before stepping back from the window. "Now is not the time to worry and fret about these new beings. I need to pack."
Walking away from the window and over to my dresser, I started the slow process of pulling my clothes and belongings out of drawers and out of the closet before organizing it all into my suitcases so that my staff would have an easier time in the end. Keeping a set of clothes out for when I could change out of the uniform and into something far more my style for the trip home or on another adventure. I was truly immersed in my little chore until I heard a knock at my door. I stopped and sighed softly. "Come in…Kaname," I said before turning toward the opening door. He stood there in casual like clothing and his favourite, or at least I believed it was his favourite, trench coat. He entered and shut the door behind himself, then took a glance around the room.
"I see you've started packing to leave. Then my next words should be welcomed to you." He started. "I don't need to tell you already that Yuki is awake, but I do need to insist that you leave Cross Academy as soon as you can, Suki or stay put in this dorm until it's over. Those are the only options I will give you."
I looked right up at him, "Kaname, with all due respect and disrespect, no. I intend to see my vision out to the bitter end. Which means that I will not stay put like a child and I will not leave the academy. I may be the weaker of the purebloods, but I am a pureblood nonetheless."
"Suki. You are one of us, but protection is what I'm worried about for you." He claimed, but I could see through it, that wasn't the reason he was pushing me out just like that. He saw me as another possible target in this coming fight and to see my family name die from that was a concern of his as well. Especially since I was one of his only true allies.
"Kaname." I stepped forward to him. "I will be safe if I stay. I am not weak right now. I can survive this just as you will and just as she will. After the fighting is over, I will meet her and we will walk away from this alive. Understand?" I stood my ground and made sure he understood that as well.
He looked me over once more and with the most exasperated sigh I think I'd ever heard from this man, he looked me right in my eyes as he said, "Sora…" Oh, there it was again, my old nickname. "For once would you ever just listen to my advice about your well-being?" He asked.
"You have no room to speak about my well-being, Kaname. My future husband only has that right and last I checked, you were spoken for." I remarked back to him. I was a tad more on the sassier side as I got my 'outside of school' personality back, unfortunate for him. He would not win this time.
Running a hand through his hair, he sighed yet again, but this time he seemed to back down. Understanding that in the end it would be my way or else. "Sora…You win. But please do try not to get in the way of the fated fight. Or else."
"Wouldn't dream of messing with fate, Kaname. I will see you when it's over." I waved him out, knowing I would be able to keep that promise. He easily left and went on his way, as I finished packing and started to prepare for this fight ahead. For I would see it to the end with my own eyes over someone else's.
