"I know, those guys are just after the Avengers' leverage." Tony Stark had already realized this; the incident in Germany was merely an excuse. There have been ongoing thoughts about how to gain control over the Avengers. After all, prior to this, while the Avengers were officially recognized, they had never obeyed anyone's orders. All plans and implementation strategies were devised internally by the Avengers. This obviously left those in power dissatisfied, even feeling as though the Avengers were slipping out of control. For those in power, an uncontrollable force was absolutely intolerable. What happened this time also provided them with a perfect opportunity to act on this issue.
"So what brings you here?" Hode lifted his teacup and took a sip, looking curiously at Tony Stark.
"Buddy, I'm here to vent and share my frustrations, but more importantly, I want to ask if you have any ideas." Tony Stark wore a look of helplessness. He understood that Hode was much smarter than the average person, which is why he specifically came to seek Hode's opinion. He might just find an unexpected surprise.
"Public opinion." Hode paused for a moment and explained, "The main conflict this time revolves around public pressure."
"If we can shift public perception of the Avengers, then everything will be much easier!" "You should know that currently, public opinion is not in your favor!" After all, this incident would not have drawn such tremendous attention without someone in power subtly guiding it.
"But... it's not that simple." Tony Stark frowned bitterly: "The wind direction is hard to change right now." In fact, he knew this; the real difficulty lay in finding a way to change it.
Hode leaned forward, gently tapping his fingers on the table: "Actually, the primary focus of public opinion is on Wanda." The misstep during the Crossbones explosion had caused long-brewing public outrage to erupt suddenly. If public outrage could be compared to a barrel of explosives, then public opinion would be the fuse that ignited it.
"You mean... we need to change Wanda's public image?" Tony raised an eyebrow. "But Wanda is emotionally unstable right now; it seems she didn't even return to the base last night. I'm quite worried she won't handle the pressure well."
Tony Stark fell into deep thought, expressing his inner worries.
Cough cough cough... Hode, who was drinking earl grey tea, suddenly choked and coughed upon hearing this.
He looked at Tony with a complex expression, thinking to himself: "That's definitely not true; I was playing cards with her all night last night."
"Are you alright?" Tony noticed his friend's surprise.
"I'm fine." Hode wiped away the water stains with a tissue and said, "If you can get the public to support Wanda again, this issue will be much easier to resolve!"
"Yes, but..."
"Wanda can't fully control her own abilities; I'm worried she might make mistakes during missions, and this incident has a huge impact on her!"
"Maybe she just needs some time and a bit of help."
Tony Stark had never seen Wanda looking so downcast. Even during this past period, whenever he saw Wanda, she always seemed gloomy and withdrawn. No amount of encouragement had made much difference.
Hode pondered this for a moment. Perhaps he could help Wanda. Although they had only met by chance and there had been some misunderstandings, he had somehow gained "shards of the Phoenix Force" and "divine magical talents" from her. Besides, Wanda had even more hidden treasures waiting to be uncovered.
Buzz~
At that moment, Tony Stark's watch emitted two flashes of blue light. He raised his hand to check it, his expression now tinged with sorrow.
"Hey, Hode, thanks for listening to my complaints!"
"Steve's been emotionally unstable lately; he even refuses to sit down and talk."
"I still have some matters to attend to, let's talk another day!"
With that, Tony sighed deeply, stood up, and prepared to leave. Although Hode hadn't provided any specific solutions, just talking had made Tony's mood much lighter. When someone is under immense pressure, they generally just need someone to listen to them, and Hode had always been his most loyal listener.
"Alright! You're always welcome to visit!" Hode also got up, seeing Tony off before returning to his room.
"System! Open the panel!"
After sitting in the chair, Hode concentrated, and the system's virtual panel appeared before his eyes.
【Divine Magical Talent】: Grants you uncanny insight into magic, and you no longer need to borrow magical power from dimensional deities!
This brief description was enough to exhilarate Hode.
"Wanda, you really are a little lucky star!" This was another divine reward!
