The world outside was tumultuous, with heavy black clouds gathering in the sky, crackling with lightning and booming thunder, creating an imposing spectacle. The Eternal Night Palace acted like a lightning rod, summoning the lightning from the dark clouds above. Dense bolts of lightning were drawn in, violently cascading onto the palace, penetrating its thick walls and scattering across the runes inscribed there.

Inside the Eternal Night Palace, countless runes flickered with a crimson glow. As the lightning concentrated, the light intensified until it formed a complex red formation above the altar. The formation operated with the precision of a sophisticated factory, each rune working in harmony to eventually coalesce into a single drop of bright red blood.

Ye Hai observed everything unfold before him, holding a camera to record the event for future study. At that moment, the blood drop was pulled by gravity, falling from the magical formation and landing precisely on Blade's forehead. As if it were a living entity, it slithered into his head.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, Blade let out a beast-like roar, clutching his head tightly, writhing on the ground in agony. He shouted, "Get out! Get out of my head...!"

Ye Hai was taken aback and quickly asked, "Blade, what's happening?"

"Something has entered my head!" Blade cried out. "It keeps talking to me, saying it's been resurrected, saying it's been resurrected..."

"Resurrected? What the hell, is a soul invading your mind?" Ye Hai replied with surprise.

At this time, the lightning ceased, and the crimson glow along with the magical formation disappeared, leaving only the sound of Blade's anguished cries echoing through the Eternal Night Palace.

"What kind of monster are you? I'll beat you out!"

Ye Hai snorted coldly, leaping into the air and swiftly descending onto the central altar.

"Haha! I have finally been resurrected! I have finally been resurrected!"

Out of nowhere, Blade surged to his feet and shouted towards the sky, his voice reverberating throughout the Eternal Night Palace, causing many statues to shatter into pieces.

Frost and the others felt a chill run down their spines and fled the Eternal Night Palace in fear. It was apparent from Blade's earlier screams that the Vampire Ancestor had resurrected—a being way beyond their capabilities to deal with.

Ye Hai, however, remained unfazed and curiously regarded Blade, asking, "Hey, are you the Blood God? Are you taking over his soul?"

The Blood God's eyes gleamed with crimson light as he scrutinized Ye Hai. The glow in his eyes intensified as he licked his lips, saying, "What a powerful body! Such rich blood energy! I am very pleased with a sacrifice like you!"

With a swoosh, the Blood God vanished, instantaneously appearing behind Ye Hai. His head leaned forward, opening his mouth to bite into Ye Hai's neck.

"Bang!"

Ye Hai swung his right hand back, crashing it into the Blood God, sending him flying dozens of meters away to crash into a solid wall, embedding his body deep into it.

Yet the Blood God was unharmed. He laughed, "What powerful strength! But that's all it is. You're just a Tier-3 warrior. Even in a weakened state, I can easily deal with you."

He shook his body and broke free from the wall, transforming into a series of afterimages that flew around Ye Hai, moving in and out of reach. Although Ye Hai possessed great strength, he could not land a hit on him.

"This Blood God is incredibly fast. It seems my Tier-3 mind domain agility isn't enough. I need to activate Tier-4 mind domain," Ye Hai thought to himself. "System, activate Tier-4 mind domain!"

"Yes, host activating Tier-4 mind domain. Consuming 1,000 scientific points. This state will last for 24 hours!"

"Gagagaga! Kid, you can't touch me! Your stamina will deplete quickly, while mine is endless! In the end, you will become my food! Delicious food, which I haven't had in many years."

The Blood God cackled with glee, but suddenly noticed Ye Hai standing still. His eyes lit up with delight as he rushed forward in a gust, instantly appearing behind Ye Hai and throwing a punch at his head.

At that moment, with the Tier-4 mind domain activated, Ye Hai's senses were heightened several times over. It was as if he had eyes in the back of his head. He swiftly reached back with his right hand and caught the incoming punch.

"This... how is this possible? Why have you suddenly become so much stronger?"

The Blood God was utterly shocked and attempted to pull back, but Ye Hai had a firm grip on him. No matter how hard he struggled, it was futile, so he kicked out in desperation.

Ye Hai merely shook his arm, and the immense force transferred to the Blood God, creating a series of cracking sounds as his bones shattered inch by inch. The Blood God crumpled like a soft-bodied creature to the ground, his eyes wide in disbelief.

"What kind of monster are you? You're not human!" the Blood God stammered in fear.

Ye Hai furrowed his brow and asked, "What are you? Are you a spirit?"

The Blood God grinned, "I am the Blood God; I am a deity..."

"Utter nonsense!"

Ye Hai kicked him square in the face, smashing it to a pulp.

But soon, this watermelon-like head reformed, looking perfectly intact, as if it had never been harmed.

"What a horrific ability to recover!"

Ye Hai marveled, realizing this grotesque regenerative capability was comparable to his own.

"Hehe, now you see how formidable I am, right?" The Blood God smirked. "You can't kill me; I am a god. How can a human possibly kill a god?"

"Stop pretending to be a god!"

Ye Hai relentlessly smashed the Blood God's head again and again. Though the Blood God revived each time, the intervals between his revivals grew longer and longer, and he began to look fatigued, parched, and increasingly desperate, his eyes revealing an intense thirst for blood.

Ye Hai deciphered the situation and remarked, "Your ability is strong, but it still hasn't transcended the boundaries of a vampire. Your energy source is still blood, and your internal reserves are dwindling. I bet you're eager to suck blood to regain your strength?"

The Blood God ignored him and began muttering an odd incantation. As he quickly completed his chant, the statues of the Eternal Night Palace began to come to life.
