Frost quickly exclaimed, "You misunderstand! I'm not causing trouble for your girlfriend's family; it was definitely my subordinates acting on their own!"

"What's done is done," Ye Hai smiled and replied. "I just heard you talk about the Blood God. What's that all about?"

Frost stuttered and hesitated to speak. Ye Hai unceremoniously stabbed a silver nail into his shoulder, causing it to hiss and sizzle like it was exposed to sulfuric acid, rapidly rotting screamed in agony and begged, "Just kill me, please…"

Blade, observing from the side, couldn't help but twitch at the corners of his mouth, though he secretly felt quite pleased. He admired Ye Hai's decisive and ruthless methods against vampires.

Ye Hai pulled the silver nail out and said with a smirk, "You can choose not to talk, but then you'll immediately turn into a pile of ashes. However, if you decide to speak, I might consider letting you become that Blood God thing."

Frost naturally didn't believe him. He chuckled, "Even if I told you, it wouldn't matter. The Blood God is the ancestor of us vampires from ancient times. The Blood God is immortal and possesses abilities far greater than ordinary vampires. Most importantly, they can live in sunlight just like regular humans but are much stronger. If I could become the Blood God, I could rule this world and become a god, with ordinary humans as our food..."

"That's quite a childish thought," Ye Hai scoffed, interrupting. "You think your vampire clan stands a chance at ruling the Earth? Do you have any idea how many powerful humans there are in this world? You can't even beat me, yet you dream of ruling all of humanity? What a joke..."

Frost protested, "I'm just a regular vampire at the moment! If I could become the Blood God, you'd definitely be my food!"

"So the Blood God is really strong, huh?" Ye Hai's interest was piqued as he glanced at the computer next to that blubbery figure of Pearl. "You must have your vampire Bible saved on the computer, right?"

"Yes, it's all in there," Pearl timidly replied.

"Good, then step aside, fat pig!" Ye Hai said, grabbing Pearl's thick leg and giving her a gentle shove backward, causing her to scream as she flew through the air.

AsFrost and Blade looked on in confusion, Ye Hai settled down at the computer, examining the vampire script on the screen. Meanwhile, a system notification rang out.

"Beep! Task issued: Decipher the secret of the Blood God in the vampire Bible. Task duration: twenty days. Task completion reward: 5,000 Science Points."

5,000 points? Not bad.

Ye Hai focused intently on reading the vampire Bible. The script had no pronunciation, only vague guesswork based on calculations from the supercomputer.

"Why is there no pronunciation?" Ye Hai askedFrost, "Can you guys not read it?"

"We don't understand,"Frost said with a strange expression, pointing to Pearl behind him. "Only Pearl knows part of the pronunciation."

"Fat pig, come here!" Ye Hai beckoned to the rotund Pearl.

With a pained expression, Pearl said, "I'm too heavy to walk on my own!"

"Blade, lend a hand," Ye Hai instructed.

"Alright," Blade said impassively as he marched over, grabbed one of Pearl's thick legs, and dragged her over like trash, tossing her onto the bed.

"I can only read part of it," Pearl said timidly.

"Good. Just teach me how to recognize these bizarre characters, and I'll let you go! Don't try any tricks, or you'll die a horrible death, fat pig!" Ye Hai threatened.

"I won't, I won't," Pearl stammered, her face drained of color; she was easily frightened. "I… I can teach you, but… but the vampire script is really, really difficult. If you can't learn it… you can't kill me…"

Ye Hai smiled calmly, "There's nothing in this world I can't learn. You can start now!"

His confidence madeFrost and Blade internally scoff, waiting to see Ye Hai's failure; if he couldn't learn it, wouldn't it be appropriate to tease him?

They had both tried learning the vampire script before but found it too obscure and lacking a complete system, leaving them utterly perplexed. Only this fat pig Pearl, despite her shortcomings, had an extraordinary talent for these complex characters.

"Okay."

Pearl began to explain the script to Ye Hai. The language was indeed strange and difficult, with tricky pronunciations that most people would struggle with. Yet, Ye Hai only needed to look at it once and listen once to remember it perfectly and pronounce it flawlessly. In less than an hour, Ye Hai had absorbed all of Pearl's knowledge and even surpassed her proficiency.

"* (a segment of vampire script)"

Ye Hai spoke fluently in the vampire language, leaving Pearl dumbfounded as she exclaimed, "My goodness, you can actually speak complete sentences now!"

"That isn't difficult for me," Ye Hai shrugged, saying, "Alright, I've learned what you taught me. You don't need to lie here anymore."

With another toss, Pearl screamed and was flung back.

"Your computer's specifications are too poor; I have a more advanced one."

Ye Hai connected to Osborn's central computer and copied the vampire Bible onto it. He didn't intend to waste his brainpower deciphering it; that would take too much time and energy. SinceFrost could use the computer to crack it, so could he, and he would do it faster and more comprehensively.

Ye Hai glanced atFrost and said, "Blade, find a place to keep this guy locked up for now; he might still be useful."

"Alright, no problem," Blade replied, still expressionless.

"That's good."

Ye Hai left the vampire's lair and returned home.
