Plans+Vampire 4 - (Rosario+Vampire Capu2, OC!I)

My... Balls... are... FREEZING!

A three days ago...

It was a normal day at the Alchemy Club. Life was going well for yours truly.

It's been a week since I spanked a brat and got spared from any direct involvement with the rest of the silly antics happening to the group. I was free to expand my arsenal with a few more runes and retrieve those broken ones from the spanking session with Kokoa.

It took me a while to get somewhere in a place to be ready to face another surprise solo attack, but what I expected to be the case for what would see me face Tsukune and Co. actually turned to be a mistaken expectation. Especially when I got a visit from my reliable senpai of a club leader that went to check my latest work and nodded in delight at the fine results.

"Once again, a fine work, Shinpei-kun. Still, may I take some time from you for a talk?"

I shrugged, having been in the process of finishing my work on the dagger for today. I was a week or so off for the first of two steps to be over so... yeah, I was excited.

"Sure thing, how can I help you?"

"Shinpei-kun, do you remember that some of us members tend to be given the chance to visit some of the unique place for us yokai from time to time?"

I slowly nodded at this as I remembered this particularly little detail being mentioned when I was reading the rulebook of the club. It was quite uncommon, but some members would be sent to visit some places that would be renowned for their special ingredients and ingots.

It was something that intrigued me as it could easily mean a 'good reason' to not be at school and still get good grades for that assignment. However, I felt concerned as I realized that the way this was being introduced sounded like some sort of setup for bad news.

"Well, we just received permission by the headmaster to send a member of our club to the Land of the Yuki-Onna."

"...I suppose that Ginro is getting sent and not me. You know, the Yeti guy that is quite familiar with a place like that."

"Silly Shinpei-kun, you know Ginro's family was banished from that land after one of those civil wars a few decades ago," The man chuckled. "Now, I get it. It's a big experience and-"

"It's about the Newspaper Club, isn't it?" I asked, trying my hardest to fit less in the 'meta-knowledge faction' and working with what others had as a mindset over that crazy group. "You really want me to be the sacrificial lamb?"

"Of course not!" The senpai sounded honest about it, but then he admitted to another truth. "We were sending Mari-chan, but she has a thing against... the cold weather. To the point that we may not have enough money or legal credibility to keep her out of jail if she blast a place such as the Land of the Yuki-Onna."

Ah yes, a Megumin expy proved to be my indirect Judas in this situation.

"So, that's all I get? A good luck?"

"Just find five for each of the ingredients listed in this paper and you will be fine. Trust me, Shinpei-kun."

Now.

I was not fine. Not at all.

It took a lot to dodge most interactions as I got inside the bus, luckily for me Tsukune was busy trying to avoid getting wrecked by the main three girls going for his D, and the only one that spoke to me was Toujou Ruby.

I really kept things to a bare minimum with the known masochist, especially since the first reaction Kokoa had as she knew it was me from the scent alone was to have her hands cover her skirted butt from any 'surprise attack'.

She hadn't spoken on what had happened, but her reaction got a few silly questions from the rest of the group, and no response from the redhead. I was relieved of that, but, even with the little preparation I had to the first 'serious' arc of the story, I felt myself unsure on how to tackle this.

Common sense dictated I followed a rather 'canonical' path and avoid any interjection. But... I also felt displeased by one thing- a particular scene that truly did Mizore dirty for the second time in this fucking series.

While it wasn't shown that she was assaulted by Alucard's clone, the implication one of the chapters left with some dark panels indicated that it may have been the case. And that was... Well, I don't like Mizore as a person, but I wasn't exactly happy with that sort of shit.

And maybe I was feeling a bit confident about my current preparation.

I didn't need to face battles to get her out of the bad spot she was going to be put through, but I may end up causing a huge mess if I triggered Alucard's rapey clone. The whole bus trip was just that: considering the implications of a more 'active' effort to prevent a potential rape scene or not and...

My... Balls... are... FREEZING!

I am not sure if it was because Tsukune had some lingering vamp blood in his body keeping him nice and warm, but even though it was summer, the chilling weather was threatening my health despite the layers of warm clothes I had on.

It was frustrating how bullshit yokai could just shrug off that sort of shit and I couldn't.

As soon as we were there, however, I was given another surprise as Tsurara had planned to 'not have anyone outdoors for today' since there was going to be bad weather. Well shit, I was stuck in my little room to wait for the next day.

The meals were quite quicks for yours truly and I managed to avoid any confrontations as I went to sleep. The question of helping Mizore or not kept on nagging at me, but as I thought I could find peace in my rest, I was woken up by an... explosion.

Oh right, there's an attempt from Mizore to confess to Tsukune through the power of booba.

One of the dumbest ways to introduce a serious escalation, but I couldn't blame the plot-making considering how 'silly' things were and how suddenly the dark and gritty plotline got rushed in at this point. I pulled myself out of bed, ignored the wild herd of girls bolting after a certain stalker, and I checked the nearest bathroom to wash my face.

'Do I fuck the plot in a way that is convenient for me in the long run, or do I hope sitting ducks doesn't make me more of a scum deserving of some random death?'

Sighing and patting my cheeks, I knew there was a true certain way to deal with this and... I waited for the 'grand clash' between the girls unfolded, sending poor Tsukune into unconsciousness and have poor Mizore carried away by some 'unusual' women to the mighty ice castle in the distance.

I followed closely after the small entourage, waiting for them to enter the castle and then, after looking around, I snuck from one of the open windows. I was seen by a lot of Yuki-Onnas on my way in, but those that did notice me were people that hardly gave a crap about the leadership since... stuff is chill in the Land of the Yuki-Onna. I think.

I mean, that would explain why no one checked Tsurara and the girls for any gun when the Flower Ceremony happened, but at the same time I blamed some random anime/manga shit that created this convenient mindset for me to exploit.

Still, the plan remained the same as I prepared a path that led out of this place and back to Tsurara's place and, once I got that wrapped up...

It was high time to bust a certain stalkerish Yuki-Onna before she gets touched in the no-no square.

Next time sees a rather unusual POV that involves some legit talking, some blackmailing and a degree of advicing in regard to love, friendship and playing Solid Snake.
