Seeing their shock I take a breath "this boy eventually went to Hogwarts and had to fight in a war, my past life I was his friend and fought beside him, he didn't have the heart to hurt others even when they tried to kill him I started killing the more dangerous ones while running with him, eventually he wins this war but the damage to many is so great everyone struggles to move on, I planned to leave the magical community completely but two women stopped me and used forgotten magic to send me back with a mission, stop the dark Wizard and help who I could, I'm unsure how it will change who I was but I remember everything from then I have changed enough that Petunia will be able to join her sister in a peaceful school without a war".
"This can't be real" Mr. Evans mutters.
"Kreacher please bring my pensive" I call making them jump.
Once he pops in I start pulling my memories putting them in "I can show you what they're future would have been, I have kept my promise to these women and to the boy, I've changed history enough to change the future, now I'm focusing on certain people to change what I can and help them, Petunia and Lily won't drift apart as long as I can help it".
A few minutes later
Sitting at the table I see Rose smile slightly "I have a grandson" she says softly looking at her husband.
"He looked so handsome, he grows up to be good man like you" she adds making him smile.
Releasing my breath at them coming around I avoid Minnie glaring at me "how does this reincarnation work?" Mrs. Evans asks.
"No one really knows, we just know it happens because some people like Aquila can remember certain past lives, for her she has two that are extremely active in her mind, they communicate with her and give advice they even help her in fights, because of magic hers are able to take control if needed, the scars on her face happened because she used forgotten mind magic only practiced by a group called Veela, she merged her past lives during a fight with her brother the scars show she messed with magic she didn't understand, but because it was done as a last resort for protection magic didn't attack her only marked her permanently" Minnie answers.
"You both keep saying that like magic is alive" Mr. Evans comments frowning.
"It is, it's a living part of us just look at Petunia her magic responds to her emotions, magic is a friend and protector trying to keep it contained has killed people, luckily that's very rare now because we can safely teach the children without fear" I answer leaving the last part off.
"How?" He asks confused.
"Well would you allow someone to hold you hostage or try to escape?" I ask looking at him.
"I'd try to escape" he says sounding confused before a look of understanding sets in his face.
"Magic is a gift, a living part that stays with us and helps us as long as we respect it, if not it will lash out and try to escape because it's a living being inside us" Minnie says smiling.
"Ceros no" Daciana says holding her hand back as she tries to shove a bite in her mouth.
Minnie clears her throat catching her attention and she quickly sits down smiling at her with a look of innocence "behave Ceros or you will not being going to see Aunt Olympe".
"I showed you these memories for a reason Mr. and Mrs. Evans, I can only do so much for people I need your help to make sure they never grow to resent each other, I know siblings fight that's unavoidable but try to help them build a strong bond once they come to school we can help them but I need a solid foundation for anything to hold them together" I say pulling their attention to me.
They nod agreeing easily even while not fully understanding everything "and please for everyone's sake keep her away from Veron Dudley, if he gets his big ass fingers around her it won't be good".
"Master?" Argus says once I finish talking.
"Yes?" I ask.
"May we help them clean up?" He asks.
Blinking a couple times I nod "if Mrs. Evans agrees you may help but be careful" I answer.
She nods unsurely before they both take off using magic to make the dishes float and clean themselves before being put up, chuckling I shake my head seeing her shock once they finish "thank you" she says smiling.
"Before Aquila muggles couldn't see or know about magic even with muggle born parents, she's made it legal as long as they're safe since you two figured it out and haven't panicked you're being trusted to see the magical community, my father was the first known muggle to be accepted during a time when we by law had to give up our wands to be with muggles" Minnie says smiling.
"What if someone can't?" Mr. Evans asks.
"We have a protection plan, we erase the memory of magic and at times have had to take the child for protection, others have abandoned their children and we have to hunt them down and remove the memory for safety" I answer shaking my head frowning.
"I prefer not to but we have to be careful we don't need another witch trials we came close in America, a friend of mines Aunt protected a boy who's adopted mother was abusive and she learned about magic, that was that was around the time we had a huge Wizarding War running along with a muggle war, it was also the first time Muggles and Wizards worked together" I add tilting my head frowning.
"We were born around that time for the muggle war, I can vaguely remember my family's relieve at the end but still being worried, oh that reminds me" I say turning to look at them.
"The headmaster at the school is who stopped the Wizarding war his name is Dumbledore, a great man who is highly respected he has been helping me with challenging the old laws and bringing us into the modern world without abandoning our traditions" I say.
Hearing the vacuum start Minnie jumps digging her nails into my shoulder while clinging on my back "Ceros turn that off" I order watching her.
She huffs turning it off "Minnie" I say touching her hand "is she okay?" Rose asks looking concerned.
"Yes, it's a side effect of being an Animagus, it means she can turn into an animal we both can, she's a cat while it's a highly respected talent it tends to make us have animal traits" I answer while pulling her off and hugging her.
"One of our friends has gotten one of those to run off magic and finds it funny to use it around me" she mutters glancing around nervously.
"So she's scared of a vacuum?" Mr. Evans asks.
"Pretty much" I answer nodding while grabbing up Ceros "thank you for dinner it's been lovely talking to you both, but I should get my brats home and Minnie away so she can calm down".
