Walking into the muggle stores I glance around before taking off to find something good enough to appease Minnie 'you are a moron, Minnie is a vindictive short tempered hot head' Hermione chimes in with all her know it all attitude.
Grunting I grab some Ginger cookies before moving to grab her favorite tea 'catnip toys' Morgana adds.
Sighing I spin going to pet supplies and grab multiple mice filled with catnip I plan to transfigure.
Moving to check out I quickly pay then head out clutching my items close while glancing around, like I'm waiting for Minnie to suddenly appear to remind me what happens when she's jealous.
"How bad will it be" I mutter to myself.
'You left her and took a succubus, we'll be lucky if she doesn't transfigure us into something that gets thrown around by her cat form for fun' Hermione snarks.
"Better then what she did back in school when I upset her" I mutter.
'True, now she kicks us out of the room and convinces the castle to not help us with anywhere to sleep after removing everything we could use' she adds.
Taking a breath I look at my bag biting my lip "I should bring more right? More may convince her to forgive me" I ask softly.
'Quit stalling and go face our wife' Morgana snaps, I freeze up shocked hearing Hermione laughing.
"Maybe you two should start handling her like this" I mutter frowning at the fact they've done stuff to upset her and left me to face punishment for it.
Taking another deep breath I hurry to find a place to Apparate Back to Hogwarts, landing in the Dumbledore's office I look around not seeing anyone before hearing a throat clear.
Screaming I blush seeing a chair explode before seeing an average height man wearing pale red robes that could pass as pink looking panicked from the ground "I did not mean to startle you" he says sounding nervous with a higher pitched voice that sounds slightly feminine.
"I'm so sorry, I thought I was alone" I say quickly before offering my hand to help him up.
"You look nervous" he says smiling slightly.
"I upset my wife because I did something stupid" I mutter.
He hums looking at the bag in my hand that thankfully escaped any damage raising his brow "attempted to buy her forgiveness?" He asks.
Nodding I blush "something like that, again I'm sorry I hope I didn't hurt you" I finally say.
Hearing him laugh I blush more "you must be Professor Black correct?" He asks.
Nodding I smooth my outfit "Yes, Aquila Black and you are?"
"Henry Smith" he offers.
"It's nice to meet you" I answer placing his name as the guy Dumbledore's been seeing, moving to Dumbledore's desk I get the toys out to work on while ignoring the ones that slide off.
Working on the ones closest I stop moving seeing one held out to me that looks like me, reaching out I raise my brow looking at Henry "perhaps she would like this and would help you appease her" he offers.
Smiling slightly I see him tap it with a finger "I'm an idiot" the doll says mimicking me.
Laughing I look at him after packing everything up "thank you" I say before heading for the door.
Stepping out I quickly check it finding nothing worrying about it before continuing on while tapping it on my hand "you're right" the doll says.
Reaching the door I slowly open it and peek around to look around only to jump back seeing a spell hit the wall where my head was "Aquila Black, you get in here right now" Minnie orders.
"Minnie, I'm sorry and I love you" I call from the door not going in.
"Get in here" she repeats.
Swallowing I step in seeing her pace the kitchen area before glaring at me "care to explain why you left me with Alouette and took a woman that was trying to seduce you" she snaps.
"I dropped her off at the Zabini house then went to check on Myrtle" I answer.
Seeing her eyes narrow before stalking closer I hold out the bag and toy that talks, seeing her stop moving and looking at it, I bite my lip till she grabs the doll "you can't buy your way out of trouble with catnip" she growls.
I nod seeing she's fighting her Animagus instincts over the catnip as I offer more, finally she gives in and changes going after the toys I toss out, but the doll gets the worst treatment of being kicked and slapped with lots of biting.
A few days later
Seeing Minnie take the post I perks up seeing the Ministry mark on one, she glares at me slipping it in her pocket and I sigh slumping in my seat "are you still in trouble for the succubus?" Myrtle whispers.
Nodding I glance at her before Minnie stalks by grabbing my arm, scrambling up to follow her she motions for my Apprentices to follow.
Reaching our room I sit seeing Minnie point to a chair "do not move" she hisses.
Sighing I see Argus and Daciana looking unsure of what to do "just sit till Minnie lets me go" I mutter.
They both sit down glancing at each other then me "Master?" Argus ask nervously.
"Yes?"
"I don't... Nevermind" he mutters frowning.
"For death's sake" Daciana mutters "why is Professor Black bossing you around?"
Looking at them both I frown shaking my head "I guess this is a good time to explain somethings about relationships" I mutter.
Seeing them both frown I sigh "a healthy relationship both people give and take, just because you're the Head of House doesn't mean you should be in control, Minnie and I both give and take I have times where I'm impulsive and do something stupid, when I do Minnie reminds me that I'm a dumb ass at times, the best way to keep your home happy is keep your wife happy, learn when to bow to her".
Argus nods tapping his fingers on his leg nervously "are you in trouble?" He asks.
Laughing I nod "Yes I did something that upset her and now have to face the results of my choices" I answer.
Minnie comes back in sitting down by me pushing me back in my seat "Argus, we have something important for you" she says sitting the letter in front of him.
I hold my breath watching him pick it up looking it over "these are adoption papers" he says softly.
"We started the process while you were in the squib school, it got slowed down several times mostly because our age, then again when I took you on as my Apprentice they were worried about us being to close in age then worried I would go easy on you and let you slide by with minimal studying" I answer.
"They interviewed our friends and family to see if we would be easier on you compared to Daciana, they learned quickly we expect our children to actually do their work, they seemed to forget that we raised Aquila's sister and cousins after just finishing school" Minnie adds.
"If you want to be our son all you have to do is sign there, it won't change anything about your education and if you choose not to want us nothing has to change" I say.
He looks at the papers wide eyed "you were trying to adopt me as a Squib?" He asks softly.
"Yes, it's been a long fight to prove we were serious about it and wanted you"
Seeing him wipe his face sniffling Daciana puts an arm around him hugging him, after a moment he pulls back looking at us "you really want to adopt me?" He asks.
"Yes Argus"
He nods taking a pin from Minnie and pricks his finger before marking the spot for him, smiling Minnie and I quickly mark our spots "do you have a name preference?" I ask lifting the quill to put his new name.
"Argus Black?" He asks.
Nodding I write it down before Minnie takes it to send it back "alright, now Argus you still represent Aquila as her Apprentice and now house of Black, people will look to you as a leader make sure you continue to hold yourself to Aquila's standards" Minnie says coming back smiling.
"I will" he says sounding nervous.
"You finished your wand?" I ask seeing the new wand on his arm.
"Yes ma'am we both did" he answers proudly.
Holding my hand out he hands it over and I smile looking at the Cherry wood wand "it has some knots on it" I say stroking the bumps on the bottom.
"Master Ollivander says they could have been removed but I like them it's not perfect" he says tugging his shirt.
Nodding I smile handing it back before looking at Daciana seeing hers is imperfect as well "they're more realistic because nothing and no one is perfect" I say handing it back to her.
"Off with you three" Minnie says before kissing me on her way out.
Smiling I stand up "alright you two, Squib school today are you both ready?"
They nod and I turn walking out knowing they're following me as expected.
