The wind howled outside Arendelle's castle, but within its walls, all was warm and cozy. It was a night unlike any other, though the storm brewing outside was nothing compared to the one that was about to unfold within.

Queen Elsa, known for her composed demeanor and unparalleled control, was now facing an entirely new challenge—one that no amount of magic could prepare her for…

She was about to give birth to her and Kristoff's first child.

She paced the grand bedroom that had been transformed into a birthing chamber, the tension in her belly growing more intense with each passing moment. She had handled the responsibility of being queen with grace and had faced unimaginable dangers with courage, but now, with her body trembling under the waves of labor, she felt vulnerable in a way she had never known.

Kristoff was by Elsa's side every step of the way, his brow furrowed with concern as he watched her breathe through the contractions. His large, calloused hand rested gently on her back, offering what comfort he could. Though Elsa had faced danger before, the sight of her in pain made his heart ache and shatter into a million pieces.

"You're doing amazing, snowflake," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.

"I'm here with you. You're almost there."

Elsa's breath came in sharp gasps as another contraction rolled through her body, and she squeezed Kristoff's hand with all the strength she had. The pain was unlike anything she had ever felt before, but she refused to let it consume her. She was the Snow Queen, after all—she could handle this.

"I-I can do this," she whispered to herself, though the words were more for her own reassurance than anyone else's.

Kristoff leaned down, brushing his lips against Elsa's temple.

"Of course you can. You're one of the strongest people I know," he said, his voice full of unwavering belief in her.

The royal healer, Eira, an older woman with kind eyes and gentle hands, moved closer, offering words of guidance.

"Breathe, Your Majesty. Focus on the rhythm of your breathing. You've already come so far. You're doing amazing, just breathe."

Elsa nodded, closing her eyes and trying to focus on the steady in-and-out pattern of her breathing. She could feel the pressure building again, the tightening in her belly signaling that the time was drawing near. Her magic pulsed faintly beneath her skin, but she had it under control. She wouldn't allow her fear or pain to unleash her powers. This was one moment where she needed to rely entirely on her strength as a woman, not as the Snow Queen.

Kristoff squeezed Elsa's hand again as another contraction hit, his heart racing in sync with her labored breathing. He wished there was more he could do, but all he could offer was his presence, his love, and his support. He had never seen Elsa like this—so raw, so vulnerable—and he realized right there and then that he was truly in love with her, more than ever before, if that was even possible.

"I love you, Elsa," he whispered softly, his voice thick with emotion.

"You're going to bring our daughter into the world, and she's going to be just as amazing as you."

Elsa managed a small, tired smile between the waves of pain. The thought of their daughter, the little life she had carried within her for the past nine months, gave her strength. She had waited so long to meet her baby, to hold her in her arms. And now, that moment was almost here.

"It's time, Your Majesty. You're ready to push."

The healer's voice broke through Elsa's thoughts.

This is it.

Her heart pounded in her chest. This was it. She was going to meet her daughter, her baby girl. She gripped Kristoff's hand even tighter and nodded at Eira. She had faced so many challenges in her life, but this—bringing new life into the world—felt like the most important thing she had ever done.

"O-Okay," she breathed, her voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions and sensations crashing through her.

Kristoff knelt beside Elsa, his eyes locked on hers, his hand never leaving hers. He could feel her strength and determination, and he marveled at her resolve.

As the next contraction hit, Elsa bore down heavily, using every ounce of her strength to push through the pain.

"Mngh!"

"You're doing so well, snowflake!" Kristoff encouraged, his voice barely audible over the storm of emotions in the room.

"I'm so proud of you."

"Mngh!" Elsa grunted again, pushing with all of her might.

With this push, the baby emerged even more.

Eira nodded, her calm presence reassuring them both.

"That's it, Your Majesty. One more push."

Elsa gritted her teeth as another contraction ran through her, and her body trembled as she pushed again, harder this time.

"Mngh!"

Every muscle in her body felt like it was on fire, but she didn't let it stop her. She was almost there.

Almost.

"Mngh! Kristoff!" she screamed.

Kristoff gripped Elsa's hand tighter.

"It's okay, Els. I'm right here," he soothed, planting soft kisses on her neck.

"Push."

Elsa couldn't even say anything. Instinct pricked at her fingers and she felt a strange calmness in her aching body as if the final contraction was being held at bay, giving her the go ahead. She took Kristoff's hand in her own and led it down between her legs. Her exhausting smile blossomed, feeling the soft, wet hair of her unborn baby's head.

"O-Oh my God, Elsa," Kristoff whispered in awe.

"She's so tiny."

Elsa's lip quivered, tears building in her eyes. She didn't have the will to be scared anymore, too tired, too aching, not caring about anything but the perfect creature that hung suspended between her legs. She was numb with happiness, hardly caring about the contraction starting to prick at her body. That first contact with her baby bled her heart. The baby she'd grown, carried, and nurtured in her body was finally there within her reach.

And with one more push, it'd be hers forever.

She pulled Kristoff's hand away, letting a savage cry leave her as every ounce of her energy forced her body to push with the next contraction. Her mind was sharp and focused, her body screaming with pain.

"Very good, Your Majesty!" Eira encouraged.

"She's almost out. One more push!"

A newfound courage filled Elsa's soul and she tapped into strength she didn't even know she had left.

"Mngh!"

She threw everything she had into the push.

"Almost there! Keep pushing, Your Majesty!"

Elsa bore down harder than before, gripping Kristoff's hand tighter.

"A-Ah! Mngh!"

And with a slip that was almost comical, she felt something slide out of her. A gasp fled her lips.

"What…what just happened?" she choked out.

Kristoff smiled and held Elsa tighter than ever.

"You just had a baby, Els..." he whispered.

And after what felt like an eternity, the most beautiful sound in the world filled the room—the first cries of their newborn daughter.

"You did it, Your Majesty! You did it! She's here! Your little princess is here!"

Elsa collapsed back against the pillows, her body exhausted, but her heart full of relief and joy. She had done it. Their baby was here. Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched the midwife gently clean the baby before placing a small bundle in her arms.

"There she is, Your Majesty. Six pounds, ten ounces. She's a tiny one, but perfectly healthy. Congratulations," Eira whispered softly.

"She's absolutely perfect..."

The moment Elsa held her daughter for the first time, it felt as if the entire world had shifted.

The newborn's cries softened, her tiny body warm and wriggling against her mother's chest. She was perfect. The true definition of an angel sent from above. Her skin was soft and her eyes—they were the same brilliant blue as Elsa's.

Kristoff knelt beside the bed, his eyes wide with awe as he looked at the tiny, perfect bundle in Elsa's arms. His heart swelled with love and pride as he watched his daughter blink up at him.

"O-Oh my God…" he choked out, his voice thick with emotion.

"She…she's beautiful."

Elsa smiled through her tears, her heart so full it felt like it might burst.

"She is," she agreed, her voice barely more than a breath.

She looked up at Kristoff, her eyes shimmering with love and pride.

"We did it."

Kristoff leaned down, pressing a kiss to Elsa's forehead, before gently kissing the top of their newborn daughter's head.

"No, you did it," he whispered, his voice full of awe.

"You were amazing, Elsa. That was all you."

"Thank you…" Elsa cried.

"Thank you for making me a mother."

Kristoff's resolve dropped right there and then, tears of joy streaming down his cheek.

"No, Elsa. Thank you for making me a father."

Elsa's heart swelled at Kristoff's words, but she couldn't take her eyes off their daughter. The baby was so small, so delicate, yet radiated a quiet strength that reminded her of herself.

"Welcome to the world, my little snowflake," she whispered softly, her voice trembling with emotion.

"I'm your mama. It's so nice to finally meet you."

The baby let out a tiny coo in response, and her heart melted at the sound. She had never known a love like this before—a love so deep and all-encompassing that made everything else in the world fade away. This tiny human, this beautiful little girl, was hers.

Theirs.

Kristoff smiled down at the newborn, his eyes filled with wonder.

"Have we decided on a name?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Elsa nodded, her eyes never leaving their daughter's face.

"A'Laylianna Kehlani Reign..." she whispered, the name falling from her lips with a sense of reverence.

Kristoff repeated the name softly, savoring the sound.

"A'Laylianna Kehlani Reign, huh?" he echoed, his heart swelling with pride and love.

"It's perfect, Elsa. I love it."

Elsa looked up at Kristoff, her eyes shining.

"It means 'beautiful gift from God'," she explained softly.

"And she truly is. She'll be strong, just like us."

Kristoff's throat tightened with emotion as he looked at his newborn daughter, her tiny hand curled around Elsa's finger.

"She's already strong," he said, his voice thick with pride.

"She's got you as a mother."

Elsa's heart swelled at Kristoff's words, and she leaned her head against his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his love and support.

Together, they watched as their daughter's eyes fluttered shut, her tiny body relaxing in her mother's arms.

"She's absolutely perfect, Kristoff," Elsa whispered, her voice full of awe and wonder.

"I can't believe we made this."

Kristoff nodded, his heart so full it felt like it might burst.

"She is," he agreed softly.

"She's everything and more."

For a long while, they sat in silence, basking in the overwhelming joy of the moment.

The storm outside had subsided, the wind no longer howling against the castle walls.

All that remained was the quiet sound of their daughter's soft breathing and the steady rhythm of their hearts beating in unison.

Elsa looked down at A'Laylianna, her heart overflowing with love.

My little snowflake. My little princess. My baby girl. My everything and more…

She had faced so many challenges in her life, but none of them compared to this—to the incredible journey of becoming a mother. As she held her daughter close, she knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together. She, Kristoff, and A'Laylianna.

"I love you," she whispered softly, her words meant for both Kristoff and their daughter.

Kristoff smiled, brushing his lips to Elsa's passionately.

"I love you too," he replied, his voice full of warmth.

"Both of you. I'll love the both of you for as long as there is breath in my body. Because you two are everything and more."

As the night drew on, Elsa and Kristoff sat together, watching over their newborn daughter as she slept peacefully in her mother's arms. The world outside had changed forever, but in this moment, everything was perfect. They were a true family now, bound together by love, strength, and the unbreakable bond they shared.

And in that quiet, precious moment, Elsa knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together—as a family.

After all…

They always did.
