Sorry for my bad English.

The volume 7 is over and for my surprise, it went better than I expected. Somehow I want to see the volume again when I had time, different from the last three volumes. The only thing I wish to watch again regarding the last volumes are the final battles between Raven and Cinder, and Yang and Blake against Adam, but it is only that.

I will tell more in Sons of Darkness.

To the fic!

Headmaster Office

-Just sign this and your transcription for the academy will be complete Ms. Argent. -Ozpin said handing to the girl a paper.

-Merci Beaucoup Monsieur Ozpin. -The girl thanked him and a calm, shooting voice.

-May I ask you something, if be no bother?

-Of course not, go ahead.

-You have a specific reason to choose my academy over Shade?

-An old friend of mine speaks highly of your academy, so I'm trusting in his words and apply here to see with my own eyes. -The girl answered handing the paperback to Ozpin. -If not be a problem, I wish to explore the academy grounds for future references.

-Of course. Just remember to be on your dorm before the curfew.

The girl bowed and made to leave just in time to Glynda appear from the elevator. She bowed to Glynda before entering the academy.

-Why can we have more students like her? -Glynda asked.

-Like this, things would not be so interesting, don't you think? -Ozpin asked, smirking.

-I rather a boring academy than those confusions. -Glynda sighed before went back to the matter in hand. -After your conversation with the general, he was very open about what Wolf said.

-And what he said?

-That Ryan is unique, but... is not the only one. -Finishing speaking, Glynda handed to Ozpin a folder with a strange name labeled on it.

-Project Santa?

Corridors

-Thank you for coming with me. -Pyrrha said to her partner.

-No problem. -Chocolat spoke next. -This is what friends for.

Currently, the girls were making their way to where the duo was now staying. After the events involving Koro, Pyrrha needed some help with something and so far, the only one she knew that could help her was Ryan.

It took some time to reach their destination, a small room at the end of the academy. She knocks the door and both girls wait a couple of seconds before the door opened and Ryan stepped out of the room.

-Hello. Do you girls want something?

-Can I ask for a favor? -Pyrrha asked.

-I will not fight you.

Pyrrha raises an eyebrow in confusion.

-Nora keeps coming after him insisting on a match. -Chocolat cleared her confusion.

-Oh! Don't worry, it is not about that. I'm here to ask for your help.

-If you want to power-up something, I let you know that the human rights already told me that I don't need to be a human battery if I don't want to.

-O-oh, okay. But it is not that either. -Pyrrha said getting a bit frustrated with the conversation. It seems that people come after Ryan always wanting something. She nearly lost the courage to ask him for a favor noticing that. -I want you to help me with my combat skills.

-What kind of help you would need?

-Stealth. -Chocolat answered for her partner.

-What?

Before the girls could explain further, they heard Jaune shouting in pain before they head Blake speak.

-Ryan, someone got hurt!

-Is Blake there with you and Jaune? -Pyrrha asked.

Before Ryan could answer, Ruby appeared on the door.

-Ryan, do you keep a medical kit somewhere? -The rose asked.

-Below my bed. -Ryan answered. He focuses back on his new guests, both girls with a look of confusion. -What?

It was still early in the morning, so the duo and their guests still not had breakfast. The whole group made their way to the cafeteria as Pyrrha began her explanation about why she was asking for Ryan's help regarding her combat skills.

-As you remember, a day ago when Ruby was kidnapped, we went after Koro to stop Yang from doing anything stupid, but I ended finding Koro and Ruby before anyone and since I was already there, I decide to engage him in battle. I was going fine in the beginning but then, Koro began to hide with smokes and dust. I could not lay a finger on him since I could not see him. It was how he defeated me yesterday. -After her explanation, Pyrrha felt a bit inadequate, and avoided eye contact, focusing on the floor. -My defeat makes me realize that I have no experience in dealing with stealth and silent attacks, which are Koro's main weapons along with his scarf and katana. -After admitting her weakness, she eyed Ryan again. -Yesterday I remember you telling to Jaune something about feel intentions, and I theorized that you may know how to deal with stealthy opponents. If I am right, I could use your help to learn how to deal with sneak opponents.

-And it seems that you are not the only one with that idea. -Chocolat said looking at Ruby and Blake.

-I feel the same way once the fight was over. -Ruby began. -I could do nothing once he was out of my sight. I need to learn how to deal with opponents like Koro if I meet foes with his fighting style in the future.

-And she asked for my help in doing it. -Blake said.

-And why not Weiss? -Jaune asked.

-I think you know why, Jaune. -Blake answered making him lower his head.

-There is not someone else who can help you with that? -Ryan asked.

-As far I know, everyone here, professors including, know only to fight straight on. -Pyrrha began. -We see in the combat classes our classmates fighting against each other like we normally do, face to face.

She did not doubt Ms. Goodwitch's competence in her teaching, but Pyrrha thought she would not help her with what she needed.

-It is not like I don't want to help but I never teach anyone anything before. -Ryan said.

-Didn't you help Jaune to fight against Koro? -Blake asked.

-Yeah, but it seems something of the moment. -Jaune stated. -I tried to do it again when you both appeared, resulting in... this. -Jaune said pointing to his bruise. -I don't know why but I can't sense the intentions of those around me.

-So you guys were practicing when we show up? -Chocolat asked.

-Jaune asked to hit me as he tried to feel my intentions. -Blake explained. -As you can see it, not worked.

-It is because Jaune was not feeling the right intention. -Ryan explained.

-Right intention? -Jaune asked getting the attention of everyone to Ryan.

-You were trying to feel the intention of someone who wanted to hurt you, something Blake had no intention of doing it.

-What do you mean? -Ruby asked.

-The intention that Jaune was feeling while fighting Koro, was of someone who wanted to hurt him, so it was easy for Jaune to feel his intentions since it was what he was planning to do. He tried to feel the same from Blake, and I already explained why it not worked.

-But I had no intentions at that time. -Blake stated.

-Yes and no. You had no intention of hurting him but had the intention to attack him. He should have to try to feel the later, the intention of an attack.

-But how do we can feel an intention? -Pyrrha asked.

-Our bodies can feel that. The chilling we felt while seeing something scary is a good example of that. If someone focuses enough, it may notices that he is not feeling only fear but the killing intention of whatever is scaring him. This also can be felt in different ways, like animosity, hate, rage, those kinds of feelings you felt from someone who doesn't like you but is watching you.

-Like the times you were trembling while Yang was glaring at you? -Ruby asked.

-P-pretty much, yes.

-For someone who never teaches something, you made a very good explanation about feeling the intentions. -Blake stated.

-I merely repeating what was told to me.

-Did someone teach you how to feel intentions? -Pyrrha asked.

-She is one of my brother's teammates from Shade. She is from one of those ninjitsu villages that lend some of their teenagers to huntsmen academies for reasons I don't know. One day my brother brought his team to my father's ranch and she taught me how to do that.

-And how did you learn it? -Ruby asked.

-My father...

-You said enough. -Jaune interrupted Ryan, knowing about his father already.

Reaching their destination, they wanted to sit down and grab something to eat but something caught the attention of Ruby. She saw Weiss sitting in one of the tables talking to a girl.

A pretty girl with black vests, similar to the uniforms of Beacon, and her hair was silver as Ruby's eyes. But what surprised the young reaper was the fact her partner was smiling.

-Who is she? -Ruby asked to no one, not noticing Ryan leaving the group.

-She must be new here. -Blake said. -I don't remember seeing her in the initiation.

-How exactly works the application for those who appear later in the year? -Jaune asked, curious.

-Weiss! -Ruby called her partner.

-Greetings. -Weiss spoke in very good humor. -I would like to introduce to you our newest classmates. -Weiss gestured to the silver-haired girl who stood and politely offered her hand.

-Fée Argent. -The girl introduced herself. -Allow me to say that I'm impressed for you to make to Beacon being so young. You must be very talented.

Ruby could not help but blush as she shook Fée's hand. Her smile was so sweet that Jaune found himself blushing as well.

-I-it is nice to meet you. -Ruby greeted back.

The introduction was fast and everyone sat down, waiting for Ryan to return.

-You are new here right? -Blake asked. -Why did you decide to come to Beacon after a couple of months?

-One of my acquaintances is applied here as a student, so I decide to follow his example and try to teachings of this academy.

-She speaks so elegantly. -Weiss complimented.

-And who is?

As if the cue, Ryan appeared.

-Hey guys. We missed the pancakes. It seems that Nora appeared here alreeeeeeeeee... -As if his mind began to reboot, Ryan stared at the silver-haired girl, who seemed surprised to see the gunslinger.

-Mon Dieu! Monsieur Forest! -Fée said surprised as she approached Ryan. -It is a pleasure to see you again!

-Do you know Ryan? -Weiss asked, confused.

-We share some history. Right, Monsieur Forest?

No answer.

-Ryan? -Jaune called his partner.

No answer.

-Ryan, are you alright? -Chocolat asked.

No answer.

Everyone was a bit confused except for Fée, who keeps her warm smile on her face.

After a couple of seconds, Ryan starts to tremble, his eye show fears and he finally gave a vocal answer.

-AAAAAHHHH! -He screamed, loud enough to get the attention of everyone in the cafeteria, who was even more confused when Ryan gave reverse somersault jumps until he passed through the doors of the cafeteria.

His friends who stood behind had no idea of what was that about, and why Ryan suddenly seemed scared.

-Strange. -Jaune began. -He normally does that when Ms. Goodwitch is mad at us.

Some of his friends sighed, some groaned and Weiss just pinched the bridge of her nose. None of them notices Fée still smiling.

The whole gang, Weiss included, went back to the duo's dorm, expecting him to be hiding somewhere there, being the only place he could hide without bothering the students.

He tried to hide from Blake and this caused some troubles.

Anyway, they found the two mattresses put together in a protective shell and of course inside it was Ryan.

-Ryan? -Jaune called. -Are you okay?

-It is Fée with you? -The one-eyed gunslinger asked.

-No, it only us. -Chocolat answered. -To make sure, his only eye peeked out of the mattresses before he left the softshell. -Now, how about you tell us what was that about?

-What was what?

-That screaming olimpic jumping you made it in the cafeteria. -Ruby answered.

-Oh. Fée, that is.

-Fée? -Weiss asked. -She mentioned that she meet you before. You tried to go out with her and made a fool of yourself? -Before anyone could reprimand Weiss for her question, he answered.

-FOR THE WHOLE EXISTENT HELL, NO! -Ryan shouted, scaring everyone in the room.

No one dared to say a word after that. Not even Jaune ever heard Ryan shout like that since they become partners, not even when he revealed his fake transcription. Seeing that no one dared to speak, the only one who decides to say the next word was the one who had an idea of what was going to happen, although she should have seen the shout coming.

-So, what's between you and Fée to make you run away like that? -Chocolat asked.

-Simple the fact she hates me with every piece of her physical and astral existence, and make her goal in life the make my life the most miserable possible.

-Fée? -Ruby incredulous asked. -But she seemed so nice. Even Weiss liked her.

-That's because Weiss is not me. -Ryan sits down on the ground as he explained. -Excluding my father, Fée was the pinnacle of my misery of my life since the time I began to study in the academy in Vacuo.

-And what you did to Fée for her hate you so much? -Ruby asked.

-Nothing from what I know.

-Are you saying that a random girl who just meet you decide to hate you? -Blake asked.

-Pretty much.

-It is so bad to the point of you to run away like that? -Pyrrha asked.

-Oh yes, it is. After my first day in the academy in Vacuo, she made a stampede block my path to the school and got me late.

-Did she cause a stampede just to get you late? -Ruby asked, finding hard to believe in it.

-And it is not the worst thing she ever did to me. There was one time she electrified a whole oasis and said that was me after diving on the water. A lot of people got electrified and I took the blame.

-Ouch. -Chocolat said, almost feeling his pain. -That must have been rough.

-And there is one time I woke up in a box and she sends me to Atlas in the middle of nowhere.

-I think I heard about something like that happening in the news. -Weiss began. -You are the boy who put a whole village in fire?

-Don't remind me. -Ryan said groaning. -Then have the time I was fighting some rabbits...

-Rabbits? -Everyone couldn't help but ask.

-Yeah, rabbits! Anyway, I was fighting the rabbits that invaded my father's ranch and she called PETA and got me under arrest for cruelty to animals.

-You were fighting rabbits. -Weiss began. -She probably just wanted to protect them from your clumsiness.

-She was the one who put the rabbits there! -Ryan shouts.

After an awkward pause, Chocolat asked.

-Do you ever ask what she has against you?

-My father.

-You... father? -Ruby asked.

-Yeah. -Jaune began. -You all may want to sit down. This will take a while to explain.

End of the chapter.

Yeah, I don't think there is a good reason for Fée's appearance in the story. I just wanted to add more trouble to Ryan's shoulders and see if I can make some funny things with that.

The idea come while I was playing Tekken and some of you may already noticed from where the inspiration from Fée came from, but I decide to make things worst for Ryan, just to try make some jokes.

Just wait for the next Another Day chapter for the girl's training and to see Fée again.

Note: Fée Argent is french for silver fairy.

I will put this on the wait for a while to focus on my other fics.

That's all folks, see you next time.
