Sorry for my bad English.

Two fictions that emphasis well what I think about OCs in stories are two of My Hero Academia which make crossovers with Spider-man, and to Avengers.

The one with the crossover with The Avengers show that the presence of Peter actually change the story of MHA a little. And the one with only Spider-Man shows Peter dealing with his enemies while the anime's plot still is pretty much the same.

I'm telling this because is pretty much what I'm doing with this and my OC story. Ryan's presence changed the plot for Jaune while keeping the original story without any change for team RWBY. While the story with my OCs, I show their lives behind the plot, not showing team RWBY's story since everyone already know the plot and all.

This is all I wanted to explain for now, to the fic!

Fée gave a sip of her tea as she pondered about the events of the week prior.

Jaune Arc declared that he was going to stand against her crusade against Ryan Forest, something she just brushed off, a mere inconvenience. Not even Forest's older siblings were able to do something against her actions, so she doubt the young blonde knight could pose any threat to her or her intellect.

She admitted that Ryan had her bested in combat skills, so that's why she uses her mind against her foe. She just needed the necessary tools to use.

A smile appeared on her lips while looking at the window, the school resident bully pulling the tail of a catgirl.

A plan already was in motion.

Vale

It was past the work hour, yet the duo found themselves in Vale from extra work for professor Goodwitch.

Instead of living on the campus, she lived in a humble apartment near the shore. It was located on the third floor, and they soon approached her residence.

-Do you have an idea of what Ms. Goodwitch wants from us this late? -Jaune asked as they reached the door of her apartment.

-No idea. -Ryan answered and knocked on the door. -Probably want us to clean a messy room.

-She does seem the type who would put her chores aside for her work.

They stopped their talking hearing the knob turning. The woman herself opens the door, wearing a tight, one-piece long sleeve black dress that ends just above her knees, with a v neck exposing her collarbone, brown boots like the ones Chocolat wear, and a black cotton chocker. Her hair was free from her usual bun, with her blonde locks barely covering her left eye.

The first word that come to the duo's mind was 'hot'.

She filled the black dress in all the right ways, a true hourglass figure to any men to droll for. Any woman who would want a figure like that should throw away any form of workout given to them by their instructors and nutritionists and do whatever exercise routine a huntress does.

-Don't just stand there, come in. -Her voice cut their line of thought, entering and waiting for the duo to follow her.

-Looking good, Ms. Goodwitch. -Jaune commented as he and Ryan enters her apartment. -Going on a date?

-No. -Was all Glynda said as Ryan closed the door but not locked. -Follow me. -Was all she said and guided them through her humble abode.

She clearly was not in the mood for a friendly talk, and Jaune wonders if it has something to do with his comment on Noir Forest about Ryan probably do a better job than her in teaching. One day after their confrontation with the Lycanthrope, Goodwitch has been a bit harsher on the work she gives to the duo.

-Now, to show you all the weak spots in a Grimm's body, Mr. Forest, wearing an Ursa suit, shall be the class' target while you all attack him with your weapons.

Said weapons were baseball bats.

-Can I ask them not to hit me below the waist? -Ryan asked.

-Grimms don't talk, Mr. Forest. -Goodwitch commented.

-Die monster! -Nora roared...

-Ouch! -... and hits him.

It was followed by much more strikes, Cardin especially having fun with the class.

-Now, where do I put those keys? -Goodwitch asked herself as she looks around her persona for the keys of her office.

Jaune was standing behind her, holding a pile of documents that was way too heavy for him to carry.

-Did the doors not open with the scrolls? -Jaune asked.

-My lock is broken. -Goodwitch answered.

-Can you just ask the janitor to open for you?

-Yes. -Goodwitch answered... and keep looking for the keys as Jaune's legs felt like they were going to snap.

-Remind me again why are we bathing on the sinks of the bathrooms? -Jaune asked.

-Ms. Goodwitch said the showers in the lockerrooms are in maintenance. -Ryan answered.

-But all of them?

-It what was she told me. -Ryan stated and then, decide to comment about how Jaune was bathing. -Jaune, you don't need to stand inside the sink to take a sink bath.

As Ryan commented, the blonde boy was standing in one of the sinks, wearing spats as he brushed his back.

The place was pretty big but enough for just one person to live it.

In the living room, any normal furniture anyone would find in a civilian home, a white leather sofa, and in front of it, a low glass coffee table in the center, placed over a red rug. In front of the coffee table was a shelf where a flat-screen television was placed on. Behind the sofa was the kitchen and on the left of the fridge they could see a small corridor leading to one door and on its left, another door, probably the bedroom.

It even has a balcony separated by a glass sliding door.

They did not have time to look at her furniture when Glynda made the duo follow her to the bedroom.

Her room was also quite ordinary, a simple bed on the corner, a desk with a laptop, a double door cabinet, a cradle, a grey rug on the floo-a cradle?

That was something the duo did not expect to see on Goodwitch's apartment. Yet, they were even more surprised seeing inside the cradle the adorable blue-haired baby looking at them with eyes full of curiosity.

-Uh? -The baby spoke.

Before they could ask, Goodwitch spoke.

-I had already arranged with the baby's parents that I would take care of their child tonight, but this afternoon an unexpected appointment came up. It's something I can't cancel so I need you both to take care of the baby.

...

...

...

-Naah. -The baby broke the silence.

Babysit.

They were going to babysit.

From all the things the duo had done in the academy, this one confirmed their suspicions that the staff are just using them to do whatever they wanted to.

-Did you really just call us on the night to take care of a baby? -Jaune asked, sounding offended.

Of course, he was dealing with Goodwitch.

-Let me answer your question with another question, Mr. Arc. -Goodwitch stated while pushing her glasses. -Do you know something about the sink found broke in one of the school's bathrooms?

Jaune went silent for three seconds before giving his answer.

-Let me answer your question with another question. -Jaune stated, then put his hands together and look at the baby. -What time does this little girl sleep?

-It is a boy. -Glynda coldly stated and then sighed. -Of course, you both are not my first option but as I said, this appointment came out of nowhere and I did not have time to look for a more experienced babysitter to look after her.

-I didn't take you to be a babysitter type. -Ryan commented.

-There's something wrong with that? -Goodwitch asked, sounding angry.

-Nope! -The gunslinger answered almost immediately.

-Can't you just cancel this appointment? -Jaune asked.

-It is not something I can cancel. An old friend from my time at the academy wishes to spend her night along with me and some other friends. The last time I refused, I had to go anyways to stop her from turning Vale upside down. So I need to be there to make sure she will not throw any building over her head after a couple of drinks.

-One side rivalry? -Ryan asked while taking the baby in his arms.

-Y-yes. -Glynda answered sounding surprised. -How did you know?

-I know the type. -Ryan answered bitterly, and not because the baby was pulling his hair.

Then the blonde woman remembers how Russell would always jump in an opportunity to spar against Ryan.

Once in the living room with the duo, she decides to explain to them what to do.

-Anyways, let me explain how you both shall take care of Azul. -Goodwitch began while pushing her glasses. -Babies who already crawl are natural explorers, so keep an eye on him all the time, always keep the safe bars locked when entering and leaving a room. While he plays with his toys, you both must watch him! Babies use their sense of taste to discover new things which means he may put one of his toys in his mouth, so watch him so he may not choke. If he chokes hold his face down along your thigh with his head lower than his bottom, hit them firmly on his back between the shoulder blades up to five times. If back blows do not dislodge the blockage, turn him over so he's facing upwards, place two fingers in the middle of his chest just below the nipplesm, push sharply downwards up to five times, if the blockage does not dislodge one of you call the emergency while the other continues with cycles of back blows and chest thrusts until the blockage dislodges, help arrives or the baby becomes unresponsive. He's old enough to drink regular milk, so don't worry about breastfeeding. To heat the milk, explicitly use the stove, in absolutely no hypothesis use the microwave. The ideal temperature for the milk is at or just below body temperature. Do not use a thermometer to check if it is cold or hot, use your wrists to test, and after warming the bottle, and swirl the baby bottle around to ensure the consistent temperature of the milk. His favorite cartoon is saved in my television memory, it's about three builder piglets, their parents explicitly told him to let him watch only two episodes otherwise he'd stay up late. His favorite storybook is the Winged Knight, read it for him before putting him to sleep, anything else will keep him awake. Any question?

-Who are you and what do you do to Glynda Goodwitch? -They both asked in their heads. -No! -And they both answered with their mouths.

-Excellent. So, I will take my leave. -Goodwitch said while turning around and walking towards the exit. -Oh, one more thing. -She then turns back, slowly walking towards the duo, then she leaned closer and began with a cold voice. -If anything happens to Azul during my absence, I promise you both a world of pain and misery far beyond your imagination. I. Am. Clear?

-Yes ma'am! Absolutely ma'am! -They answered.

-Good. -Goodwitch then turns away once again and walks towards the exit. She opens the door and leaves, but before she closes, she looks back at the duo. -Oh, and one more thing. If I'm not back after midnight... call the cops.

They could only blink at her warning as she finally closes the door, leaving the duo standing but not because of her last warning.

-She smells nice. -Jaune spoke.

-She sure does. -Ryan spoke next.

They stood without moving on the front door, looking at the door while the smell of her perfume was still fresh in their minds. Then their hands moved on their own and slapped each other in the face. It's a good thing that Ryan was holding Azul because Jaune was sent flying to the closet.

Milk

While Azul keeps pulling Ryan's hair, Jaune watches the pan filled with water, waiting for the milk to heat up.

-How much more does it needs to heat? -Ryan asked, wanting to get the baby to stop pulling his hair.

-I think it is already good. -Jaune said as he turn off the fire. Turning to his partner, he notices Ryan standing a good distance from the stove because of his fear of fire. -Now let's see if it is too much for-Ouch! -He yelps pouring some of the milk in his wrist and burning himself.

Feeling it was too hot for Azul to drink, he puts it below the tap and pour water on the bottle to cool down, all while Azul keeps pulling Ryan's hair.

TV Time

-I think we are lost. -Said the youngest piglet.

-What do we do now? -Asked the second youngest.

-We must stay where we are. -Answered the older piglet. -Staying in one place while we are lost is the best way for someone to find us. If we wander around with no direction to follow, we will just get even more lost.

-So, it is teaching what to do while camping. -Jaune stated sitting by Azul's side.

The two of them were sitting on the sofa while the baby was sitting in a blanket on the floor. The blue-haired baby had his focus on the television every minute

-Cartoons those days are far different from my childhood. -Ryan commented. -I remember having some more...

-Violence? -Jaune asked.

-I was going to say rivalries but that too.

-Oh no. Our little brother did not follow my advice and went to explore on his own! Now he's lost!

Playtime

Azul chuckled adorably while crawling after a small car with a smiling face. The car toy did not stop running even for a minute, making the boy spend some of his energy chasings after it.

-It sure is taking a while to run out of the battery. -Jaune commented. -Do you think it was a good idea for you to energize the toy?

-Look, I needed to make him stop pulling my hair and it was the only thing I could find that put him away from me.

-He just likes you.

-No, he likes my hair, and I don't even know why.

It was when the gunslinger notices something pulling his pants, and he turns his head down to see Azul trying to stand, with no success, so he could reach Ryan's hair.

Ryan just shook his head, saying no to him. Azul insisted and Ryan keep shaking his head. It was when the boy's eyes start to water and he began to whine that Ryan groaned and picked him up.

Jaune could only try to hold his chuckle at his partner's misfortune.

Bed Time

-I defeated the evil wizard, said the Winged Knight to his people. -Jaune said, narrating the book in his hands. -We are free to fly once again. The winged people cheered and began to fly around the Winged Knight, happy the skies are theirs once again. End.

Closing the book, he cooed seeing the blue-haired baby inside the cradle, eyes closed with his thumb in his mouth. Carefully, he gets up from the chair and calls his partner whispering.

-Ryan, she-I mean he's sleeping. Let's go... -Except that Ryan was also sleeping on the chair of the desk. -Really?

Knowing that Ryan would jump out of the chair while shouting something if he wakes up, because it happened before, Jaune took the chair, thanking the gods it has wheels, and pulled his friend out of Goodwitch's room.

Once he closed the door, Azul moved a little after hearing someone shout 'Danger' twice. Luckily it was not enough to wake him up.

It was already late at night, five minutes to midnight, so Goowitch did not find it odd seeing the duo sleeping on her couch. However, she found it strange that Forest had his mouth covered.

Coughing, they both wake up, whatever Ryan spoke being muffed. When the duo notices the blonde woman, they were surprised at her current state. Her makeup was smudged, her dress had some tears, a cast on her left arm, her glasses were cracked and she looked like she had a bruised leg.

-What happened to you? -Jaune could not help but ask.

-It seems she was attacked on the salad buffet. -Ryan answered.

-How did you know? -Goodwitch asked.

-You have a tomato on your hair. -Ryan pointed out and she immediately reaches for the tomato to remove it from her hair.

-My current state aside, how it was with Azul?

-Oh, he behaved like an angel. -Jaune answered sounding like a proud mother. -He didn't give us any trouble.

-Speak for yourself. -Ryan whispered.

-Well, I'm glad to hear there was no trouble, and don't worry. -Glynda began. -It will not be something that I will ask to you both do again. Tonight was an appointment that came by surprise.

-Well, we are glad to help. -Jaune said and Ryan nodded, still bothered about his hair.

Half of his hair doesn't grow so he doesn't like to have the side with grows being pulled.

As they made their way towards the door, Goodwitch notices something.

-Any particular reason why the chair of my desk is in front of the door of my room?

-Nope! -They both answered at the same time.

They step out of the apartment and turn to the blonde teacher.

-Have a good night. -Jaune said.

-Don't tell me what to do. -Glynda stated and closed the door.

-She doesn't like us. -Ryan stated.

-She sure doesn't. -Jaune commented next before leaving.

Back inside the apartment, Goodwitch looks inside the cradle, Azul was in deep sleep and was surprised to see not a single scratch on the little boy. She knew it was not a good thing to think, but a little part of her wished something happen so she could have an excuse to twist one of the boys' limps so one of them could not fight in the next fight of the Challenge.

She quickly brushed the idea aside, glad that nothing happened to Azul while the duo was taking care of him. Seeing the little boy was in deep sleep, she decided to take a long shower before also going to sleep.

Beacon Academy

-His name is Cardin Winchester. -Fée began showing the picture of the bully to the three individuals. -He's been tormenting the faunus students of the academy for a while now. One of my friends, a girl with rabbit ears refused my aid in the matter, so I want to take it without her acknowledgment.

One of them look at the picture and smiled towards the silver-haired girl, before crushing the picture in his hands.

-Not to worry Ms. Argent. -One of them spoke.

-Once we are done dealing with this ruffian... -Spoke the second one.

-He will never be able to work as a hunstmen again. -Spoke the third one.

Fée only smiled, unknown to the three that the bully was not her actual target.

End of the chapter.

A bit longer than I expected but I did not wanted to split in two parts. I just did this because of some stories where Goodwitch is described as a good babysitter, then come to my mind whatever would happen if the duo took care of a baby. At first was supposed to end in trouble but then, I remember abut Ryan being a older brother and probably could have been strange if he no have some experience in taking care of babies, experience he would share with Jaune.

Also, next chapter may not have much of Jaune and will be one of those chapters where I take inspiration from other medias.

That's all foks! See you next time.
