Sorry for my bad English.

Like I mentioned before, this chapter will take the focus away from the duo for now. I will also introduce another character but not as a enemy. She is someone I wanted to put in this story make a while now but I found difficult in how to do. This is the best I got so I hope you guys and girls like.

To the fic!

Vale

The girls from both teams were out for some adventure. They agreed that at least once a week they would go out for a girls-only night out. Each time they leave to do something, one of them would choose what would be the activity they would engage in.

Ruby once chose an ice cream parlor. Chocolat brought them to a karaoke bar. Nora dragged them to a pancake house, of course. Blake chose a library to the dismay of her partner. Weiss chose a tea shop to the dismay of HER partner. And finally, Pyrrha chose a museum for the SISTERS' dismay.

And now to their horror, it was Yang's turn to choose where they would go tonight.

So there was the group of girls, walking around in a part of Vale that the grandmothers would scold them for ever thinking about going there.

-Yang, where we are going exactly? -Chocolat asked. -You said we were going to a party.

-And we are. Yang replied. -It must be around here somewhere.

-Do you even know where to go? -Weiss asked, annoyed to find herself walking around in such a place.

-Of course, I do. I heard some classmates commenting about this party.

-Did you get the idea from eavesdropping our classmates? -Blake asked incredulously.

-Have faith in your partner, Blakey.

-Please, don't call me that.

-What exactly we are going to see at that party? -Ruby asked.

-A band will play their newest song there and after I did some research, I saw they are quite popular in the city. Believe me, it may be worth to see.

-If we ever find that party. -Nora commented, pouting.

-I wonder if the boys were having a better night than us. -Chocolat wondered.

While the girls left to enjoy what the city of Vale had to offer, Ren decided to spend time with the duo.

As mentioned before, it is not so dreamy for a guy to spend a lot of time surrounded by a group of girls. Nora tried to drag him with them again but Chocolat, ever grateful for his team leader, managed to convince her again to let him enjoy some time with the boys.

So there he was, sitting in front of a television while playing on a game console.

-Can I ask how you both got those? -Ren asked.

-No. -They answered at the same time.

Ren decides to leave like that. Then Ryan lost and passed the control to him. Since the dawn of electronic games, you lost, you passed the control.

After some unwanted walk, the girls finally reached the place after Blake heard the music beating inside what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse surrounded by trees.

-You don't expect us to go there, do you, Xiao Long? -Weiss asked.

Yang grinned and walked in, followed by her sister. The other follows right behind. Weiss groaned and walked inside too.

There they saw a lot of teenagers and college students around chatting, either standing or sitting somewhere, music was playing on boxes and some drinks were being served as well.

-Alright Ruby, what is the golden rule? -Yang asked.

-If a boy asks me to dance, kick him in the nuts! -Ruby answered.

-At least she is being a good older sister. -Chocolat commented.

Pyrrha never thought she would ever be in those types of places, much less Weiss. The heiress could even see some of her classmates around.

-Has the band played yet? -Yang asked to a guy.

-In five minutes. -He answered. -In the meantime, what about I get you something to drink?

Normally, Yang would have enjoyed the attention and the attempt to flirt with her. But she has been spending some quality time with an intellectual and politely refused the offer.

Yang led the girls to the front of the stage and waited for the show to start. While some guys still tried to flirt with Yang and Chocolat, both Pyrrha and Weiss were feeling off in a place like this. Blake and Nora just waited for the show to start and Ruby went to grab a drink.

-There is any alcohol in this? -She asked with narrowing eyes.

-Nope. -The guy, just a bit older than her, answered.

Ruby gave a sip and her eyes widened.

-Oh, lemonade. -She exclaimed, glad to not taste a drip of alcohol in the drink.

The lights dimmed and Ruby immediately went back to her friends as the show was about to start. The curtains opened to reveal a rock band with two guys and two girls. As the cheers came down, the girl with the microphone started to sing.

The first song was about the strike of the ninja. The next one was about legends never dying. The next song was If someone wanted to be a superhero. While most of the team cheered at the epic songs, Ruby noticed her partner, who was not covering her ears for the team leader's surprise, was eyeing the stage with a surprised expression.

The band finished their presentation and were about to leave when Weiss' voice stopped them.

-Unicorn! -She called.

One of the girls, the one holding the guitar, slowly turns to the heiress, showing nothing more than an empty expression. Her team and the girls from CNVL eyed her with curious eyes.

-Weiss, do you know her? -Ruby asked.

-You could say that. -Weiss answered and walked to the stage, followed by Ruby and her team and friends.

The boys were done with the game so were now playing a board game. Ryan took both dice and shook inside his hands. He throws it on the board only to spread dust.

-Okay, let's try to find something that Ryan will not pulverize, destroy, break, or reduce to a pile of garbage. -Jaune said, throwing the board into a pile of more discarded board games Ryan broke.

Thanks to the girl now named Unicorn, the girls were allowed backstage where Yang was being hit on by the male bandmates, but showing no interest in them that way as they began to hear what Weiss had to say.

-She... -Weiss gestured to the girl with black hair and violet eyes. -... is Trojan Unicorn.

-Trojan? -Chocolat asked. -The same as the Trojan Weapon Industry?

-The same. -Weiss answered and turned to Unicorn. -Which brings the question. Unicorn, what are you doing in a place like this? Why aren't you in Atlas?

-I got into an argument with my father. -Unicorn answered, her voice low and uninterested. -You know the type, for the good of the company no matter the price.

-Dare I ask what was that prize? -Blake asked, sounding angered.

-The little you know, the better. -Was all Unicorn said.

-Sooo... -Ruby began. -Your father owns dozens of weapon factories. Must be really cool, uh?

Unicorn blinked a few times before turning to Weiss.

-What is her problem?

-Please, don't ask. -Weiss answered, earning a pouty from Ruby.

-What about a more interesting issue? -Chocolat asked. -How did the heiress of Remnant's biggest weapon industry end up in Vale playing in a rock band?

-I always liked music since I was a little girl. -Unicorn began. -They were around Atlas during a business trip. They needed someone to play the guitar so I offered myself to do so.

-Your father knows you are here? -Weiss asked.

-Do yours know? -Unicorn asked.

Weiss was about to speak but then, she just remembered how her father was. He knows she is in Vale but would not give two cents where she is as long the company is still prospering.

-You two seem to get along well. -Pyrrha pointed out.

-Well, we both would occasionally engage in small talk during business meetings and parties. -Weiss told them. -You could say she was the only bearable person I could find.

-So, are you two like... best friends? -Ruby asked, poking her index fingers.

-Just acquitances. -Weiss answered, much to Ruby's relief. -Although her presence is more tolerable than those smooch talkers who try to woo me with stupid pickup lines.

-Achoo!

-Gesundheit. -Both Ryan and Ren spoke.

Ryan then threw a dart at the bullseye in the wall, making a hole in the said wall.

As Blake engaged in the conversation, Ruby noticed the design of Unicorn's guitar. It was silver, the lower part had a shape similar to Jaune's shield and she could see the upper part also being a blade. Right on top was a musical note that she theorized could be used as a handle.

-This is a sword and shield? -Ruby asked.

-Of course, you would bring Silver Horn with you. -Weiss stated.

-Silver Horn? -The girls asked.

Unicorn brought her guitar and pulled separated the upper from the lower part. As Ruby asked, it formed a sword and a shield. The material seemed resistant and well-tempered.

-I made this while still in Atlas. -Unicorn began as Ruby was leaping around her with sparkles in her eyes.

-I see some dust in the shield. -Pyrrha notices. -What is it for?

-The cords are the triggers. -Unicorn began. -Depending on what I play, I can unleash a small electric wave or even create a small barrier.

-It's beautiful... -Ruby said while drolling.

-Alright, that's enough, little sis. -Yang said, pulling Ruby away from the guitarist.

-You build that? -Nora asked.

-It is not normal those days? -Unicorn asked.

-Achoo!

-Gesundheit. -Both Ryan and Ren spoke.

-So, you can fight? -Yang asked.

-I can take care of myself. -Unicorn answered.

-Then why not try enrolling in Beacon?

-I'm not a fan of those rules and standards and all that.

-I'm afraid Unicorn was always the rebellious type. -Weiss answered.

-At least she's having fun and that is what matters, right? -Chocolat asked.

-I hardly see any value in traveling with a bunch of strangers just to play an instrument. -Weiss said.

-Actually, we settled here in Vale for a while. -Unicorn said.

-Which means there will be more shows? -Chocolat asked.

-We already have all scheduled for the year. -Unicorn answered.

-Which means they will drag me to those filth and dirty-covered places. -Weiss said bitterly before adding. -No offense.

-None take.

Then a man appears at the door to say five minutes to them continue.

-We will get back to our place. -Chocolat said.

-Rock'n roll, girl! -Nora exclaimed.

The male bandmates tried to get Yang to stay but she politely refused. Now she was into intellectual but shy guys. The show continued with the girls having lots of fun, enjoying the songs and partying.

It was Ruby's first grow-up party and she enjoyed it a lot. Weiss had to admit the lyrics of the songs were quite inspiring and even Blake kept her eyes away from the book she brought without the girls knowing. Chocolat was used to this kind of party and enjoyed a nice time with her friends, Pyrrha was hesitant at first but opened to the wild fun of the warehouse. Nora meanwhile was being carried around by the audience.

In resume, they had a great time.

-Do you think the boys are having fun as well? -Ruby asked her fellow team leader.

-I'm sure they found a way to pass the time. -Chocolat answered.

The boys were done with the games, now that Ryan had broken almost all of them. So they were now watching the TV. After a while, the duo got into an argument and were defending their side.

-Briefs. -Jaune said.

-Boxers. -Ryan said.

-Briefs!

-Boxers!

-BRIEFS! -Jaune shouts, ripping his pants.

-BOXERS! -Ryan shouts, ripping HIS pants.

Ren knew that there were never going to be a dull moment with those two.

End of the chapter.

Like I said before, the focus was away from the duo at least for once. I'll see if I can do more of those later.

Being honest, I just wanted to add Unicorn to this story but I still don't have something planned for her. Maybe in future chapters if I put my mind to work.

Next one will be Another Day. See you later folks.
