Oops, did I miss a day or two? I'm really sorry about that, guys. Putting deadlines on myself was seriously a bad idea, and cut my motivation to write in half. That being said, I ain't no bitch. Mondays are still for updates! And I think you guys will like this update!

Enjoy!

Drake felt like his back was on fire.

After hiding himself in the basement of the nearest shop, he'd huddled down over his pet cat and hoped for the best. He could feel the searing hot flames licking around them from the blast, but that wasn't going to make him move. He was fine, he had to be.

After what felt like forever, his eyesight slowly returned to him.

Looking around in a daze, Drake found he was still in the basement, but said basement was crumbling and about to collapse in on itself. Looking over, he saw the young woman and her father on the floor nearby, both looking dazed and confused.

"Are you two okay?" He asked weakly, ignoring the cats scratches on his chest. She was safest in his jacket.

"I-I think so," The woman replied, getting on her hands and knees. "What about you, Dad?" The father slowly stumbled up as well, forehead bleeding.

"I'm fine," he replied as he hid the injury from his concerned daughter. He looked over at Drake, confused and scared. "What just happened, Drake?"

"I was I could tell you," he replied as he tested the strength of the stairs. They seemed able to hold up a humans weight still. "All I know is that we need to get moving."

"Where will we go?" The woman asked. Drake had to pause as she asked this. Where the hell were they going to go? He didn't know the state of the city currently, but what he did know is that regrouping and evacuating was their best strategy right now.

"You two know what Jellal's airship looks like?" He asked as he began to climb the stairs. Both nodded at him weakly, and he managed to give them an encouraging smile. They needed it in a time like this. "Then make your way too him. If he's smart, he avoided the blast and should be looking for survivors. Help anyone you can on the way, we need to evacuate the city."

"What about you?" The father asked. Drake steeled himself and he reached for the doorknob out of the basement, which felt rickety and barely held up.

"I need to find my friends and family," he replied. And with that, he opened the door.

Straight into a nightmare.

The door fell off of it's hinges and right into the dirt of the shops collapsed roof. The sky above was darkened by the smoke from the blast, and all around him lay destroyed and collapsing buildings. Magnolia had been wiped clean off of the map, with only a single attack.

His home, his safe haven. Gone like the wind.

Gritting his teeth, Drake broke into a sprint towards the guild hall, ignoring the searing pain in his chest as he looked around at the destroyed landmarks. Shops he'd gone too, the Kardia Cathedral, SouthGate Park with the Sola tree in the center, all torn away by the blast. His anger nearly overrode his common sense, but he knew he couldn't go looking for someone to punch right now. It wasn't his priority.

Right now, he needed to make sure everyone was okay.

All Luna felt was pain.

After whatever had just happened, she wasn't even sure where she was anymore. Focus, she had to focus. What was going on, where was she?

Right, right. She was in Magnolia. She'd been with her parents.

Despite being nearly unable to move, Luna's eyes widened as she remembered what had happened. After showing her parents Natsu and Lucy that something was wrong, they'd both torn away from the house towards the guild hall to warn the others. Luna had tried to keep up, but she hadn't been able too as she didn't know the way on her own anymore. Perhaps in their panic her parents forgot that.

And the blast had sent her flying away once it hit.

Rolling over onto her back, Luna looked around at her surroundings. Despite being the winter, the city of was now clearly burning down. What was left of it, anyway. From what she could tell, barely anything was still standing.

Get up, you need to get up. This is really bad.

Finally finding the strength to stand, Luna winced as her left arm seared in pain. Looking over, she frowned at the nasty bruise forming right on her elbow. It might've been fractured during her flight after the blast, maybe even broken. This was bad. She'd never felt so much pain before, she felt like collapsing.

But doing that was a death sentence.

Forcing herself to her feet, Luna stumbled down the destroyed street, silence marred only by the distant screams of pain and loss. She didn't know what those people were screaming about, but she could imagine it wasn't very good.

Coming to a stop at an intersection, the nearby collapsed building caught Luna's eyes. Sticking out from some of the rubble was a human arm, clearing attached to someone under the rubble. Despite not being able to help herself, Luna stumbled over and began to dig at the rubble quietly with her right arm, doing her best to help whoever was stuck underneath.

"Hey..." She called out weakly, voice weak from the dry mouth she was experiencing. "Hey! Are you okay?! I'm trying to dig you out, but...?!" In her attempt to garner a response from the person stuck, she tugged on their arm in an attempt to free them.

All that came out was the arm, dismembered from it's owner.

Luna yelped in disgust as she fell backwards, tossing the body part away from herself in terror. No, this had to be a bad dream. This wasn't happening. That arm had belonged to a living person mere moments ago, but where was the owner now? Would they miss this limb? Luna curled into a ball and did her best to calm down, feeling panic and anxiety setting in. What the hell had happened? Who had done this, and why?

Was this connected to her disappearance and memory loss?

The more she tried to figure things out, the less she understood.

"Well well, it would seem Master was right." Hearing a woman's voice, Luna lifted her head and looked down the street towards the source of the voice. Coming towards her was a woman dressed in a beautiful white dress, a stark contrast to the area around them. Even though she was dressed for a formal outing the woman rushed to Luna with urgency, a smile on her face. Her beautiful brown hair was braided in a ponytail, and her eyes were a deep brown as well. Luna felt a sense of warmth coming off of her, even from a distance.

"W-Who're you?" Luna asked weakly as the woman reached her. The woman smiled sadly.

"I was told you wouldn't remember me," she said. "My name is Demeter, I'm an old friend of yours."

"Demeter?" Luna asked. "Are you a member of Fairy Tail?" Demeter shook her head.

"No, I belong to another guild your associated with," she replied. "When he heard you were alive, we rushed over as soon as he could. Just in time to see the blast." It was around then Demeter seemed to take notice of Luna's wounds, and she frowned. "You're very hurt." Just hearing this was enough to remind Luna about her arm, and she winced at it.

"Yeah, but I need to find the others," she said. "This is really bad, I need to make sure they're okay."

"Please do not worry yourself with such things," Demeter replied as she outstretched her hand. "My friends and I will do the searching. You need immediate medical attention. Come, we must tend to your wounds. They are quite serious." Luna knew that Demeter was right, and the aura this woman gave off did indeed make her feel safe. Perhaps she was right, she couldn't save anyone in this state.

"O-Okay," she replied. Reaching out with her right arm, Luna was about to grab Demeter's hand and accept her help.

Do not take that woman's hand!

Luna recoiled as though she had been shot, staring at Demeter in fear. The woman looked confused at her reaction, but that was only a fraction of how confused Luna felt. Who had just spoken to her? Who had come here? Looking around, she saw nobody else nearby. Where had that voice come from?

"What is the matter?" Demeter asked, sounding confused. Luna looked back at the woman, but her warm aura was slowly turning cold and dangerous.

"N-Nothing," Luna replied weakly. "I-I just thought I heard someone scream." Demeter just raised an eyebrow, but kept her hand outstretched for her. Luna made to take it again, but again she felt something fighting back.

Nashi! Can you hear me?! I've grown so weak over the past year, but I pray you can hear my voice! Please listen! This woman is the enemy! You may not remember but I do! She was present at the Council of the Twelve!

The voice was barely audible over the chaos in Luna's mind, but she could hear it still. It had called her Nashi.

You must remember! You have to run from her, she is the enemy! Run, please! I cannot protect you the way we are right now!

Slowly but surely, Luna retracted her hand and remained where she was, staring at Demeter in fear. Even still, the once warm aura grew colder and colder.

"Are you okay?" Demeter asked. Luna managed to swallow hard and nod, forcing a smile out.

"Yeah, I-I think I want to go and find my friends actually." She said. "I-I think that'd be b-best, so..." Slowly but surely she turned away from Demeter, and began to stiffly walk away from the woman. Once she was at the crossroads in front of her, Luna could contain her fright no longer, and tore into an injured sprint away from the woman down the street. She didn't dare look behind her, but she knew damn well she was being pursued. Doing her best to get over the rubble blocking her path at every turn, Luna started to feel as though she was actually putting some good distance in between herself and Demeter.

And then she tripped, face planting onto the ground. Groaning but not done yet, Luna attempted to stand, but discovered her foot was snagged on something. Looking down, her eyes widened.

Amidst the darkened burnt rubble of Magnolia, a bright green vine had sprouted from the earth and ensnared her foot tightly. She pulled desperately at it to free herself, but it only served to tighten it's grip on her.

"And here I was hoping they hadn't gotten to you." Luna's heart dropped into her stomach as she looked up. Demeter was approaching her slowly, looking miffed. "Guess you were told more than we thought. Damn."

W-Who are you really?" Luna managed weakly, still trying to free herself. "Why're you here?" Demeter only smiled at this.

"For you of course," she said. "Why Nashi dear, you must know this isn't really your home." Luna made a face at this, eyes widening.

W-What?" She asked. Demeter chuckled at this as she released the vine from around Luna's foot with the snap of a finger.

"These people here," she said. "They are your enemy."

"H-Huh?"

"Yes. This Fairy Tail put you in that coma, took your memory. Why else could a Memory Mage not help you? He purposefully isn't helping. They are lying to you."

"...B-But the mark..."

"The one they burned onto your skin whilst you were out cold?" Demeter asked. "More lies. They are trying to take you from us. And we can't have that happen." Luna was so confused now that she didn't know what to think. Perhaps she was right. After all, how come that Mest fellow hadn't been able to help? He was an expert after all. Could she have been deceived?

She lies!

Luna's eyes widened as the voice spoke again, this time breaking through her muddled emotions clearly.

This guild is your home! They are the enemy! Do not fall for her tricks! She is your enemy!

"...You lie," Luna said shakily, glaring at a surprised Demeter. "These people are my family! I've seen the photo albums! The memories they have of me are real! I won't be deceived so easily!" Demeter watched her quietly for a moment, before she clicked her teeth irritably. At this, the vine once again ensnared Luna, this time tightly and it's thorns digging into her ankle.

"Here I was hoping I'd be able to trick you," Demeter said. "Oh well. Ares!" At this call, a man came out from the alleyway next to the two women. He was wearing steel armour covered in red markings Luna didn't recognise. On his left arm was a steel shield emblazoned with what looked like boar, and a sword was sheathed at his side. His gruff face was line with scars and wounds, all of which looked painful. His mouth, however, was twisted into a grin.

"Hello love," he said to Luna. "Been a while." Before Luna could speak, he turned to Demeter. "She being difficult?" Demeter nodded.

"Yes," she replied. "It seems her heads already been filled with enough to tell our lies are lies. It seems we must fulfil our mission with force." Ares only shrugged at this, looking indifferent.

"Welcome to the advanced recon job," he said. "It's always difficult." With this, Ares drew his sword and pointed it at Luna, making her feel like puking. "Come along with us dearie, it'll make our job so much easier." Luna did not want to do that in the slightest, but she was trapped. The vine was keeping her in place, and now she had a sword pointed at her face. What was she going to do?

Burn the vine and flee!

Once again the voice spoke, and Luna's instincts took over in that moment. For the first time she could remember, Luna grabbed the vine, and watched as flames sprouted forth from her palm. The vine gave way to the heat and was burned away, allowing Luna to stumble to her feet and run.

She didn't make it far before A wall of vines blocked her path, making her escape even more unlikely. Before she could break free from this with flames, she felt Ares grab her from behind and restrain her, laughing as she resisted.

"She's a fighter!" He exclaimed, sounding gleeful. "They always struggle the longest!" Luna felt him hit her on the back of the head, and her vision began to blur. "No worries though, she'll be out before lo-!"

"LET HER GO!" In her now delirious state, Luna heard a male voice shout this out. Before anyone could say anything else, the sound of steel resounded off of rock could be heard, and Luna was released. Collapsing to the ground, Luna could only listen as what sounded like an earthquake surrounded her, and all went quiet. Then, a pair of hands gingerly lifted her up.

"Are you okay?" Her saviour asked. Luna took a moment, but soon she recognised him. She'd seen him in the guild the other day! He was an ally!

"Y-You..." She started, trying to remember the name of the tan man who had saved her. "Y-You're were...At the guild."

"I was, I'm an ally. I'm here now, don't worry. We need to get you out of here, can you stand?" Slowly, Luna stood with his assistance, and then was able to stand on her own. Now that she could get a better look at her saviour, she definitely remembered him. The buff, tan figure, the brown hair, the brown eyes. He was definitely the man from the guild.

"I-I'm so sorry, what was your name again?"

Before he could answer her, an angry roar sounded from nearby. Turning, Luna saw what exactly had happened. The earth itself had sprouted from the earth and created a wall between them and the enemy, one stretching high into the sky. After a few seconds, the wall shuddered as someone slammed into it from the other side.

"We don't have time for pleasantries!" The man said. "Jellal is picking up survivors at the western edge of the city! Run and find him!"

"Huh?" Luna asked. "What about you?! I can't leave you!"

"Yes, you can!" The man responded. "Drake told us everything! These guys are after you! I need to hold them off so they don't get you, do you understand?!"

"B-But-"

"No buts!" With this, the man pushed her in the opposite direction of the wall. "I'll be fine, just go! I don't need your help!" Luna stared at her saviour in shock, in awe at the courage he was showing. They must have been close friends if he was willing to do this for her.

"But-"

"Go!" He shouted. Swallowing hard, Luna nodded and turned, running away from him as she was told. She didn't know him, but he was willing to fight off two enemies at once for her. What had she been to him in a different lifetime?

They must have been close, there was no other reason...

After telling Luna to run, her saviour turned back to the wall he'd created and waited. He didn't know what exactly waited for him on the other side, but he knew it wasn't good.

"Hey!" Eyes widening, the man turned to see Nashi, or whoever she was, standing there watching him.

"What're you doing?!" He demanded, another smash making cracks appear in the wall he'd made. "Go!"

"I-I just..." She started weakly, unable to find words. "Thank you so much! I don't remember you or your name, but-"

"That's not important, just go!" He shouted, gathering rocks around his arms as he prepared to fight. "Your safety is more important than fucking memories!"

"Please don't die for me!" Eyes widening once more, the man turned back to see Luna's eyes tearing up. "I want you to live, so I can thank you properly for saving me! And I want to get to you remember you, so please! Please don't die for me!"

And with this, the pink haired girl ran off, leaving her saviour shocked at her words. Before he could do anything more, his wall was burst through. Turning slowly to look, he watched as the man and woman stepped through the hole, glaring at him.

"A valiant hero, huh?" The man asked. "Out of the way kid."

"We don't want you," The woman said.

"I want you to live!"

Would she have said those words if she remembered my name?

Managing a laugh, Luna's saviour raised his fists, still encased in stone.

"Sucks for you," he said. "You want her? You'll have to kill me first." The man frowned and drew his sword once more, raising it towards him.

"That can be arranged. Will you step out of the way, boy?"

"Please don't die for me!"

Taking a deep breath, Rocky of the Fairy Tail guild put on a brave smile.

"Not a fucking chance."

And of all fucking people, Rocky saves the day! I'm so excited to finally tell this boys story in full! I hope you guys enjoyed, leave a review! Let's try and get five!
