Jinchuriki Guild Master Chapter 1

Forest outside of Magnolia

A portal had opened up in the middle of the forest, scattering all the animals that were startled by the action. The portal grew bigger and bigger until it stopped opening up, and with it stopping opening up, a long figure walked out of it, showing it to be a person. He looked to be 6'3 in height. He had spiky blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, and a round face, but what made him really stand out were the six whisker marks on his cheeks, making him look more feral. He was wearing a white, black, and red shirt with a swirl symbol on the back, black pants, and some combat boots. To finish off the look, he wore a black short sleeved cloak that went to his knees and had red flames on the bottom, but he had an insignia on it, one of which was his moniker, "Elemental Chain Master," with his mastery of the affinities and chains that he can produce. On his arm, you can see a tattoo of sorts that is red with a black outline. This person was Naruto Uzumaki, and he was here to visit a place he hadn't been to in three years.

The reason that he hadn't been there in three years is because he isn't from this dimension. This dimension is called Earthland, and his own was called the Elemental Nations. He left Earthland to go back and finish the war that was going on in his home to stop a madman from capturing his fellow Jinchuriki and to stop their plans. He was able to save four Jinchuriki from being captured, and this caused the major and minor villages to realize the danger that the Akatsuki were capable of, as they had the ability to capture any of the Jinchuriki with their members, and they weren't a big organization either. They were able to defeat them all and stop their plans from coming to fruition. He had spent the last year making sure that the peace that they had worked for was holding and that everyone was doing well for themselves. Secretly though, he was planning his return to Earthland as only two people knew of this other dimension with them being his teacher Jiraiya of the Sannin and his teammate, who was also the Hokage Tsunade Senju. They had tried to convince him to stay, but he told them that he wanted to go see his friends and stay with them like he had promised he would. He was a member of something called a guild, and the name of the guild was called Fairy Tail. After explaining everything to them, they accepted his answer, knowing it would be pointless to convince him to stay, but he did say he'd visit when he could, which got a bone crushing hug from Tsunade and a pat on the shoulder from Jiraiya.

Now that he's back, he could rejoin Fairy Tail and catch up with everyone. What he doesn't know is that things had changed—and not for the better.

"Everything looks the same here. I'm glad to be back and see how everyone has been doing all of this time." He said to himself.

"I remember this guild. They were a lively bunch that's for sure especially that loud mouth pink haired kid. To think you used to be loud like him at one point until Itachi took care of that problem." Kurama chuckled.

He groaned at that jab. "I know okay Kurama. I'm glad that Itachi-sensei was able to take care of that problem after literally beating it out of me. That was not a fun time, I can tell you that." He shivered, remembering the training session with his old sensei.

"You should get going as I'm sure you're wanting to see everyone again, right? I'm curious to see what's changed as well." The biju said before he cut the link and went back to sleep, or at least that's what the blonde thought he was going to do.

"I'll head to town since I should be close to Magnolia from here, so it shouldn't take me long to get there." He said to himself as he started his trek towards town.

It didn't take him long to get there, and when he did get there and looked when he got to the guild, he saw something was wrong, but didn't know what it was and got a bad feeling in his stomach. He decided to go ask around about what was happening, with them sighing in sadness and telling him where Fairy Tail was. He thanked them and went off, but not before some people saw his cloak and recognized the name that they hadn't heard about in years, making them smile in hope that things would change for their guild knowing that Elemental Chain Master was back now.

Naruto was able to locate where the guild was, and he was upset with what he saw as it didn't look like much compared to what it was before, but now he was wondering what had happened and how did this happen? Again, that same bad feeling came back, but it was worse this time. He shook it off so he could get some answers from his friends. He smiled at the thought of seeing them again, so he continued towards the building until he got to the doors. He sighed to himself as he opened it and walked in.

Fairy Tail Guild Hall

It had been a devastating two years for Fairy Tail since their strongest members disappeared when Tenrou Island disappeared after they were attacked by Acnologia. Macao had become the fourth guild master, but things hadn't been easy for him to handle. They had lost members because of the lack of missions that had started declining, but they had also started to build up debt and needed funds, so they asked for help from a nearby guild, which did help them but charged them much more since they couldn't go against them with their best members gone. All they could do was pay them back.

"Any new missions coming in today?" Macao's best friend Wakaba asked.

Macao shook his head negatively. "No. We've lost a lot of clients that had gotten used to having Erza, Natsu, Gray, and the others, so they won't be coming back. We have some A-class missions though, but for how long I wonder, to be honest." He sighed sadly.

"We'll figure something out. Let's make due with what we have though, but you're right. We've also been losing members due to the lack of missions and funds coming to the guild. Hope someone comes up with some ideas to get us back on our feet." Wakaba said to his friend who nodded at him when they heard the doors open when they saw someone walk in.

To finish off the look, he wore a black short sleeved cloak that went to his knees and had red flames on the bottom, but he had an insignia on it, one of which was his moniker from "Elemental Chain Master"; they couldn't see the back, but he looked familiar.

Now

"So this is Fairy Tail now, huh? It's been awhile since I was last here." He said when he saw Macao, who looked a few years older, he could recognize that white coat and blue hair anywhere, along with his friend Wakaba with his brown hair, but his hairstyle was what he couldn't forget. "Hey Macao, Wakaba. It's been a few years, hasn't it?" He grinned at the older men, who looked at him with confusion.

"I'm sorry, but do we know you?"

"You clearly know us, but we don't recognize you. Can you tell us who you are, kid?" Macao looked curiously at the newcomer.

"Sure." That was all he said as chains erupted from his palms, getting surprised looks from the two as they recognized the chains from a kid they knew years ago. "Naruto Uzumaki is back!" He shouted, grinning at the two.

They didn't say anything and just stared at him for a minute before they jumped at him and wrapped him in one armed hugs, grinning back with tears falling down their cheeks.

"Naruto! When did you get back? It's good to see you again, kid." Macao said to him as he let go and got a good look at him. He didn't look like a kid anymore, that's for sure, but a man with how he looks now.

"I got back maybe an hour ago, actually using the same seal I used the first time that sent me here. I'm planning on staying here for the long haul." He smiled at the guild master.

"That's great to hear. I'm sure you have some questions regarding the guild and such, seeing the state it looked. We should go to my office." Macao said getting a confused look from Naruto since last he knew Makarov was the guild master.

"Did Master Makarov retire and appoint you the next guild master? That's great! Congratulations! I bet he's excited to be able to relax now! I wonder where are the others are though? Are they out on missions? You know Mira-chan, Natsu, Gray, Erza-chan, and Cana-chan? I saw Jet and Droy, but not Levy, which surprises me since I thought they were a team?" He asked not realizing the truth about why they're not there making them sad about what was about to happen to the blonde.

Office

"Now that we're here, what is it you wanted to tell me? Does it involve my old team and friends? Did something happen?" Naruto asked nervously.

He sighed, knowing how hard this would be for the blonde. "Yes, it does. You remember the S-class trials that we hold every year?" Naruto nodded at the question. "Well they went to Tenrou Island for the trials, and during them, they were attacked by a dark guild but were able to fend them off. Not long after that happened, Acnologia showed up, and…. He destroyed the island." He told him.

"W-what?" He asked, not believing what he was hearing.

"I'm sorry, Naruto." He said this while frowning.

Naruto couldn't believe what he was hearing, they were all gone? That's not possible. They can't be gone. Natsu, Gray, Happy, Cana-chan, Erza-chan, Mira-chan, Elfman, Lisanna-imouto, Levy-chan, and Jiji. Why must he continue to lose people he cares about? Was life going to be this cruel to him—he already lost so many people in the war, and now his family is gone too? No, no, no, no. Memories went through his mind of his time with Fairy Tail and with each person.

"NOOOO!" He cried out in despair, falling to his knees and shedding tears. He couldn't believe that they were all gone. He cried for a few minutes, not able to hold back the tears. After getting things under control, he was able to stop his crying.

"I'm sorry Naruto. I know how much they all meant to you and we've been trying to carry on without them, but it hasn't been easy since they were our strongest mages. It's only been two years, but things have been getting worse for us." Macao said solemnly.

"I want to help. This guild needs me and I want to help my family get back on their feet. I've been a member ever since I met you all. How bad is everything?" Naruto asked determinedly.

"We're in debt and the guild we got "help" from has been getting worse along with us having been losing members due to the lack of missions we stopped getting as there weren't enough for everyone to get and we ended up losing our guild in the process that's gone up for sale.

"I want to help. I owe it to this guild that took me in and gave me friends and a family. It's my turn to return the favor to this place. We'll get our old guild back and get out of this debt. I have the money actually to get us started since I had someone who I trust with my life use his creation of all things to change all of my money from my home village's currency to jewels that I took with me when I left to come here. How much do we need?" Naruto asked seriously.

"We're right now 10 million jewels in debt and haven't been able to pay back much right now. How much do you have?" Macao asked curiously, but also almost in disbelief along with Wakaba.

"I have 100 million jewels right now." He smirked.

The two adults looked at the blonde before looking at each other before they started laughing in joy at what they heard. It was a miracle that he had come back when we needed help and it was from a friend who would do anything for his family and friends.

"We can finally be done with the Twilight Ogre's. They were becoming a problem with constantly pestering us and trying to intimidate us, but we can get back on our feet now with this and even get back our old guild building. What do you think Macao?" Wakaba spoke for the first time with a smirk on his face.

"This is great. We can start moving forward from here out and can get back to our real home. This is amazing work kid." Macao was grinning excitedly with small tears running down his cheeks in happiness.

"I also want to start taking missions too. I've gotten a lot stronger since I've been gone and work on getting the guild's reputation back to where it was as well. Think I can take missions as well?" The blonde Jinchuriki asked them.

"Of course you can. We have a few A-class missions that no one can do since it's too much for them." The guild master told him who nodded at this.

"That's fine. I can start tomorrow as right now, we should get things settled with Twilight Ogre and I know exactly how to handle them." He smirked at the older guys who smirked back at them.

"Let's go do that and get our old guild back too." Macao said as they got up and walked out of the office.

"Things are finally looking up now, eh? I'm sorry things have gotten this bad, Master Makarov. I may not be able to have done much, but now we have a chance with Naruto back and we won't let you down again.' Macao promised himself thinking about Makarov.

They walked out to the guildhall where several members were talking to each other when they saw Macao, Wakaba, and Naruto who many didn't recognize since he was 14 when they last saw him.

"Alright everyone! We have a returning member after a few years of being gone. I know many of you may not recognize him, but he's back and staying for good this time! I'd like to reintroduce Naruto Uzumaki, or as he was called back then, the Elemental Chain Master!" Macao called out as they gasped and smiled, remembering the blonde now along with how strong he was when he was 14, for Christ's sake.

The group cheered for the blonde's return, but there were some who didn't know the blonde who were wondering who he was since they hadn't seen him before, but recognized the moniker. After the cheering settled down, Macao went on to explain what he and Naruto had talked about getting cheers from them again so that things would start looking up again.

"We'll get started tomorrow, along with Naruto here wanting to take missions as well. We'll get our guild building back and become what we once were!" Macao promised as Naruto smirked, seeing the fire lit up in their eyes.

'This is what they needed to get their spirit back. They needed some hope, and now they have it. I will make you all proud, my friends. I'm sorry I couldn't help you then, but I won't fail again with helping the guild.' Naruto promised himself in determination.

Three years later

It's been three years since Naruto came back, and things have been improving for him and Fairy Tail. They were able to clear up the debt, but Naruto didn't pay them off; he scared them off when they demanded that they pay them back, which Naruto answered by kicking all of their asses, showing how truly weak that guild truly was and that they didn't deserve to be a guild if they would bully others to get what they wanted. They were even able to get their guild building back after paying everything off, making Macao and the others really happy. During the first year, Naruto took on all of the high ranking missions and even became a S-class mage after his battle against Jura, who's one of the wizard saints.

In the second year, Naruto decided to write a book about his time in the Elemental Nations to give him something to do aside from taking missions. It took a few months to publish the first book, but it was a huge success and had become a popular book too. It was full of adventure, hardship, and the will to never give up. Another thing that happened was he started training some of the mages, like Max, Alzack, Bisca, and Macao, occasionally when he wasn't super busy with his duties as guild master. He pushed them to the limits, but they complained that he was a slave driver making them cry anime tears as they didn't expect him to be like that. The last thing that happened was Naruto was able to bring their ranks up from near the bottom to seventh in rankings of the strongest guild surprising many, but when they heard how Naruto had done a lot for them and heard how strong he was they weren't too surprised.

The third year he posted his second book out of his series again. It came out with the same results as his first book, making him happy that so many people were enjoying his books. After working so hard Macao talked to Naruto about taking it easy for once and to have fun. He realized how right he was and so he followed his words and tried going on some dates. He had gained some admirers, some from his guild and others that weren't.

He had gone on a few dates with them, but only one person caught his attention and her name was Laki Olietta. She was a slim young woman of average height with straight, pale lavender hair set in a bowl cut-like style, with her fringe covering the left part of her forehead, and the right side exposed. She could use wood-make magic that was similar to Hashirama's wood style, but not to the same level of strength like he could.

She was a kind woman who had been a good friend to him. They dated for a few months, but it ended when they didn't feel the spark going anywhere despite them both trying to make it work. They became great friends though and would still hang out, but that's all it was. Another thing that happened was he had become a wizard saint for the magic council after hearing about his strength. They wanted to see it for themselves and they weren't disappointed in the slightest. He took the 8th seat and had helped them out with many missions since then and had gained many of their respects.

Now we find a 20 year old Naruto in the guild hall just talking to some of his friends namely Alzack, Bisca, Laki, and a woman named Kinana who had become the waitress for the guild.

"This is something I never expected to happen." Naruto said, confused.

"What is it?" Alazack asked his teacher/friend.

"I was requested by a former dark mage. Apparently she's a fan of mine and wants to meet me. From what it says in the letter here, her name is Sorano aka Angel." The blonde said when he noticed Laki, Alzack, and Bisca stiffen at the name. "I take it, you know who this person is?" He asked.

"We've never met her personally, but we've heard about her from Lucy and the others. She was a member of a dark guild called Oracion Seis who were trying to find Nirvana. She was a dangerous opponent as she was cruel and didn't care for her allies much. From what Lucy told us she was Celestial Spirit holder" Bisca told him frowning at her wanting to meet with her friend.

"I don't think it would be a good idea to meet with Naruto-kun." Laki said worried about her ex.

"I won't lie, I am curious about what she could want and why she decided to reach out to me now? I appreciate the concern guys, but I'll be fine. It's not like she can hurt me when she doesn't have any Celestial Spirits with her." The blonde reassured his friends.

"Alright man if you say so, but don't let your guard down around her." Alzack said. Naruto nodded at the words knowing how right he is.

"I'll see you guys later and let you know how it goes." He got up and waved out to them as he left the guild wondering what she would want him for, but would need to wait to see her to find out.

Era Prison

Naruto had made it to the prison to visit Sorano, someone he'd never met before, but apparently had heard of had wondered who she was and why she wants to meet with him. After meeting with the guard assigned he took him over to where she was and now he just arrived to see her in person. In one word to describe her was beautiful.

Sorano is a young woman of relatively small stature with pale skin, brown eyes and short silvery hair, with bangs covering her forehead. She wore a simple white jumpsuit since she wasn't allowed to wear anything else.

"You have a visitor here to see you." The guard stated getting her attention. When she saw who her visitor was she went wide-eyed seeing him was something that she didn't think would happen.

"Naruto-sama. I-It's an honor to meet you." She stuttered out with a bow to him making him raise his eyebrow in curiosity.

"Please no need to refer to me in such a way. I'd rather you refer to me as san or kun instead. I've never been one for formality all that much. You seem to know me well, but I don't know you. May I know your name miss?" He asked politely.

"Yes of course. I'm Sorana Aguria and of course I know you. You're a very talented and strong mage having mastered three elements and chain magic to a degree. I've admired you for years ever since I heard about you." Sorano said in happiness.

"I'm sure there are others who are just as accomplished or have done greater things than me. I'm not that great." He told her.

She shook her head. "It's not often when you meet someone who has mastered more than one type of usually takes years to do that. You have such strength that people would be jealous of, but I've been wondering why join a guild when you could start your own or why Fairy Tail?" She asked, wanting to know.

"I appreciate the compliment, but there are others who could best me as I will always have room to improve myself. And to answer your questions, they're my family and I'd do anything to protect them. I was late on protecting my friends who are gone now, but I will make sure that I don't lose anyone else like that again. I'd do anything for my family as I know they'd do the same for me without question. My strength comes from wanting to protect them, to make sure that they're safe." He answered honestly.

"They give you strength? That doesn't make sense. I don't understand as it doesn't make sense to me. They're your family huh? I fought against them at one point." She told him.

"They do. They give me a reason to become strong as I want to see them happy and smile. A friend of mine once told me that a person can become strong when they have something precious to protect. That precious thing is my family and friends. Fairy Tail is my reason to become strong." He explained as she digested everything she was told.

"I..I have a lot to think about. I always believed power was everything, but I was wrong since I was defeated by your guild five years ago." She said unsure.

"Five more minutes!" The guard called out.

"Looks like we don't have much time to talk. You don't seem like a bad person. You seem to be more misguided and I want to help you." He said.

"Will you come visit me again?" She asked, wanting to see the blonde again.

"Sure. I'll visit when I have the chance, but with me taking missions most of my time doesn't leave much time for anything else, but I'll see what I can do." He told her which made her smile and nodded in gratitude as Naruto left.

Fairy Tail Guild

Naruto arrived at the guild and he was amazed to see it progressing to where things had started looking up since his return to the guild. They were basically in a shack compared to the building they're using now. Naruto had been told about how they had rebuilt it when Phantom Lord attacked them destroying the guild in the process, but he's fine with how everything turned out. They had gained new members who they were happy to receive since they could afford new members and get their help to make bonds with everyone. They hadn't seen so many mission requests appear in three years and they were happy with how things were looking up.

Naruto had become someone everyone looked up to with how he single handedly brought their guild from being nearly disbanded to where they were flourishing again and were getting close to back to their former glory. He was happy seeing everyone getting along and even seeing some starting brawls like back in the day with Naruto starting some of them to never let the Fairy Tail way die out even if the main group who started them were gone. It was to keep their memory alive. He was cut out of his thoughts when someone called out to him.

"Hey Naruto! I need you to meet me in my office. I have something I want to discuss with you." Macao called out who nodded at the guild master wondering what he wants to talk to him about.

Macao's Office

"So what is it you wanted to tell me?" He asked, getting to the point.

"Well, after some thinking it's time I stepped down as guild master for this place. I haven't been able to do as much in the last three years. It's only been because of you that all of this was possible. You helped bring us back from our despair. You gave us hope and did much more for this place." Macao said, surprising the blond shinobi.

"Are you sure Macao? You were a great guild master. You were just given a bad hand is all, but know that no one thinks badly of you and that you did the best you could. If you're about this, who do you have in mind?" Naruto asked.

"That's why I called you up here. I would like you to become Fairy Tai's Fifth Guild Master." He told him.

"Me?!" He shouted pointing at himself in question.

"Yes you. You're more than qualified to be this guild's master. You took all of our problems and with your help were able to get back on our care about his guild and it's members as your family. It's what makes your qualified to be the next guild master. Wakaba already approved after consulting him about it, so all that's left is for you to accept the position.

Naruto begins thinking about it knowing how he did help them a lot, but he did it since they're family and didn't think much of it. In a way he's achieving his dream of becoming the leader of his home instead of the village it's the guild he's come to see as his second home and now permanent home.

Plus he had some ideas on how to manage dealing with mission requests easier for him and everyone else.

"I accept the position and I won't let you down." Naruto said, smiling at the older man who smiled back.

"Good to hear. I know you won't. Let's go tell everyone the good news." He said as they got up and left the office.

Guild Hall (Outside of Office)

The two got to the railings where they could see everyone mingling and enjoying themselves, making them smile at the happy and relaxing atmosphere in the guild.

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE! I HAVE SOME NEWS TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE!" Macao shouted, getting the guild members' attention as they quieted down so they could hear what he had to say. "Alright as of this moment I'm going to be stepping down as guild master." he announced, getting murmurs from everyone else not expecting this answer from him making him chuckle. "As of now I have appointed Naruto Uzumaki as the Fifth Guild Master of Fairy Tail!" He announced getting wide eyed looks from everyone except for a few who had expected this, but not so soon. Not long after the murmurs died down cheering started and got louder and louder as more people joined in the excitement of the news. "Now with that being said, let's celebrate for our new guild master!" He shouted getting cheers again from them as a party went underway for the rest of the day well into the night.

It was the start of a new chapter for Naruto Uzumaki as the new guild master for Fairy Tail and he couldn't be more happy for his new position and can only wonder how things will progress from here now. Little did he know that something big would be happening in a couple years from this point that would change things for him and his family in Fairy Tail.

Two Years Later

Two years since Naruto became the guild master and he couldn't be more proud of his home and how things had gone for him. He had decided to make getting missions easier for the mages by separating them into their rank difficulties starting at D-rank missions all the way to S-ranked ones which only he did those since he didn't have any other S-class mages except for himself which he kept in his office, but that was fine as he could handle them and still deal with the duties as guild master by having reinforced clones stay behind to deal with it.

The guild had grown again with more people joining along with some things being added with mages that didn't want to take many missions, but wanted to perform for the guild were paid for their services in that regard. It had become quite the lively guild with brawls getting bigger with people getting into them until Naruto would stop them from getting too out of hand. He wouldn't trade it for anything in the world since none of the fights held any negative emotions towards each other.

He kept visiting Sorano and he came to understand her and enjoy her company when they'd talk. He learned a lot about her with her life, finding out she had a sister whom she didn't know where she was until he had found her as she was going towards a guild he detested that was known as Sabertooth. After meeting her and finding out she wanted to join a guild, he invited her to Fairy Tail where she could be happier knowing that she'd be treated not so great in Sabertooth. When Naruto told Sorano of this, she cried tears of joy knowing that her sister would be looked after by her friend.

As they met up, she had started to grow feelings for the blonde master the more they talked. She learned a lot about him too by telling her of his life without telling her where he was actually from since only a handful of people would know the actual truth.

He had grown to care about her too and had helped her understand what he told her two years prior when they first met up. She was disgusted with how she used to act and wanted to repent for her sins and he knew that she would be able to with time.

And lastly he gained new monikers along with his old one that was named the Red Flash or the Golden King when he'd go KCM one .and the Hiraishin that he had completely mastered in the two years. He also had moved up in the wizard saints to rank #4 with the guild being #5 now as a whole. Now we find Naruto working on some paperwork in his office. A few hours ago, he had talked to Jura about a surge of energy out in the ocean and decided to send a few people out to search for the source and he hadn't heard back from them yet meaning they were still out searching making him worried since it was hours ago.

He continued working when he heard someone open his door and when it opened a little blur ran in and jumped at Naruto making him catch her lest all of his work is scattered everywhere.

"Naruto-nii-san!" The person said happily, causing him to smile.

"Hey Asuka, how are you today?" He asked, smiling at the 6 six year old child.

She grinned at him. "I'm great nii-san. I was wondering if you've heard from tou-san and kaa-san yet since they've been for a long time." She said with worry in her voice.

"I'm sure they're fine Asuka. They're strong mages and can take care of themselves. They also have my special kunai with them in case of an emergency, so I'm trusting that they're safe and that they're still searching. I'm sure something will come up soon." He assured the girl who didn't look completely convinced.

"How about I summon Kurama out for you to play with? I'm sure he wouldn't mind playing with you." He suggested getting a grunt from the fox in his mind.

"Foxy! I want to see Kurama! Please nii-san!" She pleaded using the most feared attack ever.

The dreaded "Puppy Dog Eyes"

"Alright. I'll summon him for you since you're my little imouto." He said with a grin making her grin back.

He went through some hand signs before slamming his hand on the ground. "Summoning Jutsu!" He shouted as smoke appeared blocking their view. When the smoke cleared it showed a smaller version of Kurama who was grinning at Asuka happy to see the girl.

"Thanks for bringing me out kit. I was itching to get out for a bit, so we'll be off and don't worry I'll look after her." Kurama reassured his friend.

"Thanks buddy. Now run along you two, so I can finish this work, I'll be done shortly." He said as they nodded with Asuka riding on the fox walking out of the office.

"Sigh. Damn it, why haven't I heard from them yet. If I don't hear from them in the next few minutes, I'm calling them as I'm getting worried about them." He rubbed his temples before going back to work.

He was about to finish his last work for the day when he heard the doors swing open and heard a familiar voice catching him by surprise as he thought he'd never hear that voice ever again.

"We're back!" The person said with a shit eating grin with a familiar blue cat next to him

"Aye!" the cat said.

"Natsu! Happy!" Macao's son Romeo shouted eyes watering at seeing his idol again after seven years.

"Yep. It's us. Wow. Look at you Romeo you've gotten tall that's for sure." Natsu grinned at the kid.

It wasn't just them who showed up, but everyone from the Tenrou Island had shown up with everyone not expecting them to be here. It was a joyous reunion. Makarov was chatting with Macao, finding out that he took over as guild master when he disappeared.

"You know you've done a good job running this place in my stead. I can see that more people have joined the guild since our absence and I couldn't be more proud of you Macao." Makarov stated.

"Maybe so, but it wasn't even me that did all of this. We had actually originally lost this place for three years until we were saved by someone who not only cleared the debt we had, but even got the building back for us." The former master told Makarov.

This surprised him as he hadn't learned this from the others who found them. "Really? Well where's this person at so I can thank him for it?" Makarov asked, catching the attention of the Tenrou group.

"He should be in his office, you see. Two years ago I made him the guild master after everything he had done and not only that, but he became a wizard saint two years ago too." Macao said.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted.

"How old is he if he's a Wizard Saint already and what seat if I may ask?" The old man asked.

"He's 22 and 5th seat master. The same seat you held before your disappearance." He told the 3rd master.

"YOU'RE KIDDING ME! WHO IS THIS KID AND WHERE'D YOU FIND HIM?!" Makarov shouted.

"What's so special about the 5th seat master? I get it's crazy he's a wizard saint at his age, but what's so special about it?" Mira tilted her head to the side in confusion.

"There are 10 wizard saints and ten ranks ranging from 1-10. The first four seats are considered Gods of Ishgar where they aren't considered human with their power.

If he's in the fifth seat that means he's the strongest that's considered human." Makarov explained getting shocked looks from everyone. Natsu however looks excited having someone so strong in their guild.

"I WANT TO FIGHT HIM!" Natsu shouted in excitement with his fists lighting up in flames.

"Are you crazy flame brain you'd get your ass kicked by him." Gray told him with Natsu getting tick mark formed on his forehead.

"What did you call me ice freak?!" He shouted at his rival, getting in his face.

"Shut up fire head!" Gray countered butting their heads together.

"Both of you shut up!" A redhead shouted, hitting them both in the head, sending them crashing in the ground.

"Well this is interesting. I can tell that some things never change, do they Erza-chan?" Naruto said from the railings having witnessed the entire ordeal.

"Who are you?! I don't know who you are." Erza said sternly.

"Oh I'm the guild master of this place and have been for two years and for who I am that's something you'll need to figure out. We DO know each other. It's just been some time after all." He said cryptically confusing them.

"You're the guild master? You don't look much older than us. You also don't look that strong, but then again if you're a wizard saint then you must be. But how exactly do we know each other?" The redhead asked confused yet annoyed also.

"Well that's because I'm not much older than you as Macao said. I'm 22 years old and became guild master when I was 20. And how I know you I was here for you it would've been 9 years ago, but for me it was 7 only." He answered by giving them hints, confusing them again.

"Can you just tell us who you are? If it's been that long then we should know you right? Why not just tell us who you are?" Mira asked politely.

"I could, but I'm having fun doing it this way." He simply said when he saw Natsu get up and charge at him, igniting his fist.

"FIGHT ME!" He shouted, throwing his fist into his face, but Naruto dodged it, but he spun around, grabbed his wrist, twisted it behind his back pushing it upwards making him wince from the slight pain. This surprised the Tenrou group not seeing him move as fast as he did.

"Now now Natsu-chan. That wasn't very nice. I was in the middle of talking to someone, so shame on you." He scolded like a child making him growl in annoyance.

"Let me go bastard!" He growled at Naruto making him smirk at the threat.

"I apologize for his rude behavior, but could you let him go please" Lisanna spoke up, concerned for her friend.

"Eh sure, but don't attack me like that in the guild hall please, if you want to fight me we can take it outside in the training ground I set up for these things." He told them.

"Fine. We can do this outside." The pink haired dragon slayer said.

Naruto let him go as they followed him outside, becoming more curious about the guild master not sure what to make of him. They couldn't figure out why he was acting so familiar with them since they couldn't recognize him, but he did look familiar, but couldn't place it where they'd seen him.

Training Ground

They walked outside and the Tenrou group were surprised by the size of it. It easily dwarfed anything they've seen before. It was a large area that could have multiple people using it at the same time. There were targets and dummies for use to practice on to finish it off.

"Now here we can do our little match if you want too Natsu, that is we have all of this space to use, so that won't be a problem." He teased making the dragon slayer growl at him in annoyance.

"Not a chance of missing this chance at kicking your ass." He responded immediately, making Naruto smirk at his friend's brash behavior that seemed to never have changed.

"Master Makarov, could you ref the match for us?" He asked the former guild master who nodded at the blonde.

"Sure." He said as the two combatants were across from each other staring down each other. "Alright I want a clean match, no maiming am I understood?!" He called out to them.

"Yes!" They called out.

"Begin!" He called out, starting the match.

Naruto and Natsu stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare-down. Naruto had heard of Natsu's incredible magic, and he was eager to test his skills against the Fire Dragon Slayer. Natsu grinned and cracked his knuckles, ready to face the legendary elemental chain master.

Naruto suddenly leaped forward, his hand forming a series of seals as he conjured a strong stream of water from a nearby river. Natsu's eyes widened as he noticed the water coming straight at him, but he kept his composure.

Instead, he took a deep breath in and shot out a strong fireball that slammed into Naruto's water. The clash of elements was fierce, with steam rising from the point of impact as the two attacks canceled each other out.

The Tenrou group and the rest of Fairy Tail looked on in awe. The wizards had all gathered to watch the fight, curious to see how the two powerful fighters would fare against each other.

"Did anyone else see that? I could barely see his hands move, but they looked familiar." Gray said, getting everyone's attention.

"You sure Gray?" Erza asked.

"I'm positive. I just can't remember where though." He said, trying to remember.

"Maybe it's someone you met on one of your missions?" Lucy asked as that made sense.

"Maybe. For now let's keep watching. Maybe I'll remember as the fight goes on." He said, turning back to the fight.

Naruto, on the other hand, recovered quickly, channeling his chakra to create a powerful wind that buffeted Natsu, causing him to stumble backwards. Naruto jumped forward, unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks, his movements a blur as he struck at Natsu with incredible speed. Natsu retaliated with punches of his own, his fire-enhanced fists slamming into Naruto's body with incredible force.

"Wow, those guys are incredible!" exclaimed Levy, her eyes wide with amazement.

"Yeah they are. I'm seeing what you're meaning though Gray. I recognize the hand seals too." Mira said, putting her hand on her chin in a thinking position.

"You recognize it too Mira-nee? I admit it's something familiar, but like Gray I can't remember either." Lisanna state,d now having the same thoughts as the others.

The two fighters continued to trade blows, each attempting to gain an advantage.

Naruto stepped back, his eyes flashing as he called forth another jutsu. Flames erupted from his hands this time, the intense heat making the air around him shimmer. Natsu grinned, recognizing the power of Fire Release ninjutsu, but he didn't back down. Instead, he charged forward, his own flames becoming more intense as he channeled his Dragon Slayer magic.

Fire and flames broke out as the two fighters collided once more. The Dragon Slayer was unfazed as Naruto's flames tore at Natsu's skin. He let loose a huge wave of fire with a roar, and Naruto was knocked backward by the force of the attack.

Gray added, his own eyes glistening with excitement when his eyes went wide all of a sudden.. "I think I know who it is, but that's not possible. He looks older than us now, which shouldn't be possible." Gray said, making them look at him.

"Who is it than Gray?" Erza asked getting annoyed at not knowing.

"I'm sure we'll know soon if he uses that move than we'll know who it is instantly." He said grinning making everyone more annoyed.

The ninja wasn't quite done. He conjured a powerful wind gust with a surge of chakra that knocked Natsu off his feet and sent him hurtling backwards.

A low whistle was given by Macao, who had been observing from the sidelines. He shook his head incredulously and said, "Those guys are something else, but the guild master is holding back considerably."

Not even breathing hard, Naruto stepped back, his eyes flickering as he assessed his opponent. Although Natsu was a tough opponent, the ninja had a lot more to give. He rushed forward once more with a fierce determination, his fists glistening with chakra as he unleashed a devastating attack.

As he directly countered Naruto's attack, Natsu grinned and let flames shoot from his own hands. Once more, the two combatants traded blows, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. As their fists smashed into one another, sparks flew as the intensity of their attacks reached a fever pitch.

Wendy said, her eyes shining with admiration, "I've never seen two fighters with such incredible strength, but the master seems to not be tired at all." She commented

At last, the two fighters stumbled backwards. After exchanging brief glances, they grinned as they realized how formidable their foe was.

"What do you say we go for one last move Natsu! I'm surprised you haven't figured out who I am yet since you should've seen some of these moves before." He said confusing the dragon slayer.

"I should? I admit you look somewhat familiar and those attacks you used also seemed like something I've seen before, but I can't remember where." He said in confusion.

"This one will then. One final clash to end this spar. What do you say?" Naruto asked excited to see the look on everyone's face.

"Sure! I'm all fired up!" He said as his fist lit on fire again ready for their last clash.

What Naruto did next surprised everyone and made them go wide-eyed was a ball started swirling above his hand until it was complete.

"That. That's.." Erza didn't say anything else as she was at a loss of words at what she was seeing.

"Hehe. The bastard is back after all. I had a feeling it was him, but with that move it's him 100%." Gray chuckled.

"It's hard to believe that he's back after all this time. I missed having him around the guild." Erza commented with a wide smile of her own.

"I can't believe it. He's gotten a lot stronger since then and it's been years since we last saw him." Mira commented with a wide smile at who it was.

"Umm who is it guys? You all seem to know who it is. Can someone tell me what's going on?!" Lucy asked out loud, annoyed at being left out.

"Lucy, that is a technique called the.." Levy was cut off when they charged at each other.

"Man I can't believe I didn't realize it was you! Let's finish this, so we can celebrate your return!" Natsu shouted in happiness.

"It's about time you figured it out! Jeez, as slow as always my friend, but you're right. Let's finish this! Bring it!" Naruto shouted as they charged each other with their attacks.

"Rasengan!/Fire Dragon's iron Fist!" They each shouted out their attacks as they collided causing an explosion.

"Everyone waited holding their breath waiting for the dust to settle, but when it did Natsu was on the ground aching in pain with Naruto standing helping Natsu up.

"That was amazing!" Erza cried out, her voice echoing throughout the clearing running to them.

Naruto and Natsu grinned at each other as the wizards surrounded the two fighters, acknowledging the admiration that the Fairy Tail members were displaying for them.

"It's been a long time Naruto! I can't believe you actually came back. It's been years since we last saw you." Natsu said with his arm over Naruto's as he held him up.

"Of course I'd come back. This place was like home to me. Remember I did promise I would be back and I don't break my promises." Naruto said when they were surrounded by many people including his best friends Gray, Mira, Erza, Cana, Levy, Lisanna, Happy, and some he didn't know.

"I missed you Naruto! I'm glad you're back and look forward to hearing all about your time in the Elemental Nations and if any new seals you have been working on." Levy said wanting to hear about his adventures.

"I'll make sure to do that Levy. I missed you too you know, there aren't many who are as into the art as me and you, so it's nice being able to talk about it, but I also want to hear about you too ya know." Naruto said when he heard someone shouting at him.

"Naruto Uzumaki! You've got a lot of nerve coming back after years of being gone! You better explain what took you so long." Erza scolded him, making him pale a little, but everyone else was snickering getting a glare from him.

"Umm well that's a long story. How about I explain back inside or tonight after we do you guy's welcome back party?" After all, it has been years since you disappeared and that deserves a celebration!" He shouted getting a nod from Erza and cheers from the others as Lisanna took Natsu from him as he received hugs from Mira, Erza, Levy, Cana, a pat on the back from Elfman, and Gray pulling him into a brotherly hug.

It's good to see you guys again. You have no idea how much I missed all of you and when I heard about your disappearance, it wasn't easy for me.

"Oh Naruto-kun you've grown up. You're older than us now! I'm not sure how I feel about that." Mira pouting making her look extremely cuter.

"Of course, you didn't expect not to grow up, did you, but what happened to the goth look you had going on before? I mean I love the look now, but it's so different?" He asked her, but frowned when he saw her smiling sadly knowing how it would be different for him seeing her as she is now.

"That's a long story as well and I'll tell you tonight after the party." Mira said, getting a nod from him.

Makarov walked up to the group as he grew his size using his Titan Magic and hugged his surrogate grandson, happy to see him again.

"It's good to have you back Naruto and I've heard all about what you did for this guild when we disappeared and I couldn't be anymore proud of you. I can see that you've made a great guild master so far and will be a great one in the future." He said, getting a smile from Naruto.

"Thanks jiji. I really appreciate it. Let's head inside, so we can get this celebration started. We have a lot to catch up on after all these years and I won't be missing out on that." He told them as they headed back inside for the guild party that lasted all day and well into the night.

And that's the end of Chapter one of Jinchuriki Guild Master! What did you guys think? I hope it turned out well as I had thought about doing this one for quite awhile.
