Reaper of Rome chapter 10- last clash in camp and back to Japan
This chapter will start with a clash I forgot to use last chapters then cover the events of episodes 110- 116
It will cover one last test Lupa has for Ichigo and a first test she has for another as well then, his return to Japan to learn the secret of Aizen's forces as well as make a new friend.
This is where the m rating will start to hit for mentions of sexual content.
The first lemon scene wont be for a little while
Ichigo pov
I knew I would have to return to Japan very soon but that was depending on Lupa and what he had for me to do. From what I could tell from her I think she knew of a plan that needed to happen. But just told me one final test would decide if she would take me back or I would have to return to Japan via airplane. I really didn't want to do the airplane method, so her test was important to me. It was the day of the test and my mother delivered me silver Katana that was nearly exactly like my bankai blade and was made of her sacred metal.
Percy pov
I was only sure I was at the wolf house and had to train my hardest to be able to meet Anabeth again. in said training Lupa said "I have to someone to test you and that curse of Achilles on. Come to the courtyard right at moonrise and you will be tested." It was then I got to rest and prepare for a battle. I finally saw a boy that looked about my age but had strawberry blond hair and a skull face mask that hid his true face. When I saw him while I was still covered in shadow the wolf goddess had me put on a bronze horse faced mask and said, "I don't need you to know each other's faces yet." We then clashed with the blond boy's attacks seeming to hurt on a soul level. it was after a few attacks that hit my skin but didn't seem to damage it but still seemed to hurt that Lupa told us to stop and said we both passed then said she would talk to us separately. It was then I seemed to be put to sleep and had to wonder when I would see Annabeth again.
Ichigo pov
I left Tsugumi instructions on how to care for the rabbit, a device to speak to the residents of the city and made sure she should care for the house properly as I made sure she would hang out with Jolyne and Suletta in her free time. It was then Lupa took me back to Japan and wished me luck in the next battle. But as soon as I left Lupa I felt eyes on me, I couldn't be sure if these eyes were friend or foe, but I knew I would see them soon. I also knew that night I felt something strange as well.
The first thing at school I noticed was Keigo coming to greet me, and I had to stop him. I mostly dealt with my friends and family in peace. One thing I noticed was Tatsuki's spirit powers had likely increased due to being able to see my soul reaper badge. It wasn't long after she saw it, the badge had a strange reaction. It was then I had leave to battle a hollow. But the creature wasn't that strong. It was in getting back, I noticed a strange looking transfer student and that night I ended up meeting the soul reaper that took over for Rukia. But while I dealt with him, I met the transfer student and learned he had a zanpakuto.
But it wasn't long after our clash that he noticed something and then revealed he also had a hollow mask and said, "you are a vizard like I am, and the rest of my group is. You don't belong with the regular soul reapers or with that strange wolf."
Kon pov
It was that night, I went out in Ichigo's body and hoped to run into Rukia but what I did see was something worse the Grand fisher was back and somehow it looked different. I ran from the hollow through the city, and it kept thinking I was Ichigo. I ran until I met three other people that were clearly mod souls. The group clearly noticed the grand fisher looked different than a regular hollow. But it soon caught up to us. but my new friends used their powers to confuse the hollow. But as they did it looked more and more human. As it looked more human the hollow overpowered them with ease. It wasn't long until the hollow caught me and broke the bones in Ichigo's body.
When all hope seemed lost the charm Ichigo's dad gave him glowed and Isshin appeared in full soul reaper grab. He then prepared to battle the hollow and in said battle the hollow took off its mask and changed forms to reveal it was something called an Arrancar. But Isshin seems to know about it and how to fight the beast even if I had a giant zanpakuto. Grand fisher revealed zanpakuto size had to do with spirit energy but as I remembered Ichigo, I knew that couldn't be true do to the size of his released blade. But Isshin revealed what I expected and that higher level soul reapers blades should be as large as skyscrapers, but they have to be much more condensed. It was then the man told us mod souls "don't yet Ichigo know this, or I will have Kisuke prevent you."
It was then Kisuke came out and revealed to the three new mod souls and I about the Arrancar and Vizards and how each group had used the powers of the other. He told us about how the grand fisher likely met Aizen and gained soul reaper powers. He also told us about how the Vizard gained hollow powers. I wasn't sure how to deal with this info but Urahara told me "if Ichigo hears a word of this I will erase your memories of Rukia."
Ichigo pov
It was as I talked with the strange boy, I felt two power powerful hollows and knew I had to leave to deal with them. But as I flew to them both hollows vanished before I could do such and I wondered if that weird soul reaper or Orihime and Chad took either of them out.
The next day at school I had to think about the spirit power released and why Shinji was coming for me now. I guessed he had a way to help me. I knew I had a hollow mask but only lost control of it once. It was the next morning and Shinji still in class gave me a chipper greeting and smile. It made me figure out my classmates were equally as unhinged as the demigod ones.
It was before class, I tried to confront Shinji to see if he knew anything about the two strange spirit powers that vanished last night. He started to talk to me about being Orihime's boyfriend, but I said, "I am already dating somebody but won't tell you who." When I talked to the boy, he knew about the other people around me with spirit power and that my inner hollow would likely emerge and go crazy soon. but he promised to help me get this power under control.
It was then I left the class to think about things, I also wondered if Orihime and Chad would try and learn about the group trying to recruit me. but I wanted to know how they knew about my hollow power. I also knew I couldn't find them under the day without my mother's help. I also wondered what Uryu was doing to regain the powers he lost, I knew he had to burn out his powers to defeat Mayuri but not much else besides he wanted them back to be useful. It was after school, and I was so lost in thought that my dad even caught me off guard. He also mentioned romance and only replied, "I have a girlfriend and hope to introduce you to her soon. but after that I went to study and gather my thoughts. I knew I needed to practice Japanese as much as a could to make up for emersion in Latin and English.
Kon pov
It was after our encounter Urahara made us promise to not let Ichigo know about his father yet. But the next time I saw Ichigo he seemed to have no energy. It was like something took it all out of him. it was when one of the other mod souls tried to talk to him, that I pulled her out of the room to let Ichigo rest.
Ichigo pov
I knew Shinji was telling the truth since I would hear the hollow's distorted version of my voice as it was trying to take me over. I knew I had to fight it but in Japan it was so much harder to do so. It was a little later my sister came in to tell me she knew I was a soul reaper, but I was sure she didn't know about the fact I was a demigod or that I had a second mother.
It wasn't long after she came in that I felt a burst of power and tried to play off the fact that I was a soul reaper, but she revealed her powers were starting to bloom as well. but then we felt a huge surge of spirit power and I knew I needed to fight. It was as I got closer, I saw the souls drawn out of the normal humans in the area. I arrived on the scene to find both Chad and Orihime badly beaten by two men in white robes one with dark skin and the other with pale white. I didn't take me long to learn these men were working for Aizen and likely had to be hollows.
It was when I went bankai to battle the two that they seemed to know who I was. but in bankai form I was able to stop the attacks of the larger man. It was when I removed the large man's arm, he pulled out his zanpakuto but at the same time, my inner hollow left me unable to defend and Orihime hurt trying to defend me. it seemed like I was doomed to die there until Urahara and Yoruichi came to defend me, and the dark-skinned woman pounded the large hollow into submission. But he got up and fired a cero that, but Urahara managed to deflect the attack.
But our true savior was the pale hollow and him pulling out of the battle. then leaving us behind to recover. It was obvious that the pair only came to observe and not battle us. it was after that Kisuke gave me some ambrosia candy and I knew I would be ready for battle in a few days' time, but I wasn't sure if the hollow would try to take me over again. I had to wait in bed to recover and contemplate asking Shinji for help.
When the next day of school came, Orihime was surprised at the fact I was in better shape than she was, but our other classmates were shocked to see how hurt she was. After another day we were shocked to find new students in our school, and I knew they were soul reapers that I mostly met in battle.
Renji said, "we have orders from above to join your school and wait to see in the Arrancars make their next move." I didn't know who the Arrancars was, but Rukia told me that's who beat me up the other day and I wanted to go over and hug her soon. but I knew that would have to wait until we had some alone time.
Rukia pov
I knew Ichigo was in a funk after the last battle, but I haven't had enough practice with the silence Kido and didn't know if the method Rangiku taught me may leave a mess behind. but I knew a swift kick to the face with a chance to see my panties may help raise his spirits. Then taking him hollow hunting would help as well. So, as Renji guarded his body, I took his soul hunting. After we found the hollow, I noticed something was distracting Ichigo, but I couldn't put my finger on the problem, but a little gentle probing did help my boyfriend manage to kill the hollow. Then I dragged him back to class and he seemed a little better. I think he was still worrying about something, but his spirits were a little higher overall.
After school, I had to defend myself from Kon, it wasn't long after that I formally told my family Rukia, and I were dating. I tried to test the silent Kido my fellow soul reapers interrupted us and explained the situation about Arrancar and how they at times would happen naturally, but Aizen was making it happen more and more. After that the group was going to need places to stay and we couldn't keep them in the clinic. But before that the captain among us explained Menos and how they were divided by power and how much a sense of self they had and that Aizen likely had a few of the strongest class of hollow under his control.
After talking to Ichigo, I wondered if the arrancars truly got along. It was after that, the soul reapers tried to figure out Kon as Ichigo wanted them to leave. I had to fight to tell not tell the others Ichigo and I were dating while Rangiku tried to seduce my lover. But we at least got the others to leave and find their own places to stay, at worst they could find hotels. But when I told. Ichigo's family we were dating, and they accepted me with no issue. It was a few hours later i brought up my silence Kido and we tested it by making out in his room. both of us thought about sex and I had to bring up condoms and that we would need some due to the fact soul reapers that have achieved shikai could get pregnant and with that came more questions about my shikai than soul reaper reproduction.
but as he tried to get me to reveal my shikai, we felt a few large spirit powers start to emerge and Ichigo told me "There are six in the group with a man with half jawbone hollow mask seemingly in charge of the group." I then asked Ichigo "how did you know all that information?" he replied, "I can view everything under the moon." I replied good to know you can keep me updated on the other fight going on and I can show you my shikai.

the next chapter will start the battles against the first wave of arrancar and how good and bad it goes for our heroes.
