Author-san here, hi. I apologize for putting this out late, I've hit a massive writers block and I've been smashing my head into a wall... I have school, my other stories, my incredibly tiny nearly extinct attenction span, my tiny ass memory... *Sighs heavily* I'm tired, anyway, I'm gonna put the Discord and Insta accounts you should be able to reach out to me with. OH! Warning, OOC Sakura, my Verizon of her, she is one of two daugthers Muzan had, she was taken and placed in the Haruno family, so she has demonic blood and she gets giddy over blood! Enough yapping from me! ENJOY THE DUMPSTER FIRE OF A CHAPTER I WROTE! ehhh... why are you here? This isn't your universe.

Douma: Well, I thought I could do your introductions for you.

WhatTheMeh: Sure, go ahead, just do it with Sasori.

Sasori: *Was eating 'till he was mentioned* Wait... what...?

Douma: Sure, I don't have problem with this.

Sasori: Why are you involving me Author-san?

WhatTheMeh: Because, Itachi is busy in this, well, every chapter. SO! You'll take his place. *sees Shigaraki* Ah, here's your third, peace. *Makes a peace sign and phases away*

Shigaraki: I'll introduce myself to you two in a minute, for now, enjoy this extremely rushed chapter. *Turns to Douma and Sasori* So, what do want to know?

Chapter Two: The Trial test.

Itachi was exhausted, life hasn't been treating him well recently. He's been dealing with Deidara and the constant challenges to prove his 'art'. After Pain had revived Madara, he's seen better days. Madara's constantly being an ass, and a pain in Itachi's ass. Well, Itachi couldn't blame Madara, after all the poor guy was whisked away from heaven and had fallen from a great height, the poor guy is disoriented and confused, Itachi figured he outta leave him to the sake.

Sasori has been arguing with Deidara about what art really is, and Itach's getting sick of having to hold either of them back for destroying each other. Sasori argues that art is eteral and forever as the spirit of the artist stays with the art, while Deidara says art is an explosion and lasts a little bit before going off in a boom!

Konan, an artist, often finds herself joining in, explaining that some art can be natural, doodles, splatters, and often in the paper itself. Yahiko, recently revived, often is the one to get Itachi to break up the fight. Pain or Nagato, now no longer all skeletal, often watches out of amusement. Hidan, personally, stays away from the two when they fight, it's all fun in games until he gets decapitated on accident. Kakuzu is the one who has to sew Hidan's head back onto his body, he didn't really like doing so, but he needed his partner to get the bounties.

Kisame, often sporting a humanist appearence, looks different. Kisame changes to has long, wavy hair that reaches to his shoulder blades, and his eyes are normal and a soft golden yellow in color. He doesn't have the gill markings and has a tan skin tone when in this form. He and Samahada often sit on the side, watching the fight while eating popcorn, and making bets over who would win the argument.

Itachi needed some rest, so he walked outside, feeling the cold air brush against his skin. It was a calming feeling and instantly soothed his racing mind. He found a seat under a tree, pressing his back against the tree, he slld down to the floor, feeling the cold dirt against his legs. He looked up towards the sky, his mind blank and fuzzy, he didn't hear the footsteps 'till the person who followed him sat next to him. Itachi turned to look at who sat next to him, his eye widening slightly as he took in the appearence of Minato.

Minato smiled lightly, his ears lightly twitching, his tails gently moved to pull Itachi closer, sensing his exaustion. Minato wrapped an arm around Itachi, lightly pulling his face towards his chest, his hand gently stroking Itachi's hair, a soothing and lulling lullaby to his mind. Minato spoke gently, "It's alright Itachi. You can fall asleep, I'll watch over you."

Itachi's eyes slowly fluttered shut as the soothing motion of Minato's hand against his head slowly lulled his mind down to slumber. Itachi's arms unconsciously wrapped around Minato as he seeked the comfort of his parent, his breathing growing steady. His mind was slowly pulled into a fitfull slumber as his dream brought him back into the past... the last thing he heard was the sound of a lullaby, being gently hummed by Minato...

Sasuke grumbled. He didn't really like his new team, Sakura was still a banshee but she toned down to a degree. Naruto was... amazing, and that surprised Sasuke himself, since he doesn't hold anyone to a higher degree then himself, it probably the ears and tails doing it.

Sasuke did enjoy the bonding moment he had with Naruto at Ichriraku's, atleast up until he was forced to spill his ramen. He wouldn't say it aloud, but he secretly loved the fact that Naruto dealt with Ino and Sakura that day.

Currently he sat with Naruto and Sakura, waiting for Kakashi to show up and explain the drill. This morning, he and Naruto enjoyed a nice breakfast together while joking around, it was one of his happier moments. It was also clear that Sakura didn't eat, as every now and then her stomach would growl.

Sasuke could only sit and wait as Kakashi wasted his precious time, time that he could be using to make himself stronger. Sasuke perked up slightly when he heard Naruto yawn, he turned to look towards the team before speaking, "I'm gonna take a nap while we wait for Kakashi. Wake me up when he arrives." With that Naruto moved to the shade of a tree and curled up into a ball, his nine tails acting like a blanket. Sasuke and Sakura's heart melted immensly when they saw this, it was so adorable, Sasuke's eyes moved over Naruto's figure, trying to ingrave this moment into his memory.

Several hours passed, 'till Kakashi finally showed up and eight o'clock. Sakura was quick to shoot up and point at Kakashi, her voice angry, "Kakashi-sensei, why are you late! We've been waiting for hours!" Kakashi eye smiled and responded calmly, "A black cat crossed paths with me and I had to take the long way around." "I also had to avoid Guy and his "youthful" contests." Kakashi thought, his head turned towards Naruto, and he nearly gave into his cuteness aggression.

In Naruto's dream, he sat in a peaceful area surrounded by clouds, and by his side were a few peoplem one of which was a humanistic version of the Kyuubi, he has tan skin, orange hair that just barely reached his shoulders, an orange sleeve-less top with black pants that has chains around the waist, and high boots with similar chains. Sharp ears were perched on top his head with nine livid, but relaxed, tails behind him.

The other next to him, were chakra imprints of Itachi, Menma, Minato, and Kushina, which he stabilized their figures with his own chakra, and Dark Naruto, who was a mix of Madara and Hashirama cells, and his own hatred. Personally Naruto enjoyed being with these being around him.

Those people were some of the only ones of understood him and didn't blame him for the deaths of those who had perished when the Kyuubi attacked, well they couldn't, they were his family. The Kyuubi gently reached over and nudged Naruto, taking him out of his trance. "Kit, someone's trying to wake you up." Naruto nodded and stood up, glad he managed to change the background to this peaceful place rather than keeping it as the sewer.

Naruto turned to the Kyuubi and Dark Naruto, "Alright, I better wake up and see what they want, see you Kurama, see ya Yuta Naru." Naruto then turned to the chakra imprints of his family, "Goodbye, mom and dad. I'll see you later Menma." Naruto turned towards Itachi, "I miss you, so I hope to see you some day, Itachi-nii-san." Naruto said as he left his inner space.

After a minute, Naruto woke up and was greeted by the sight of his team. His hand rubbed the waryness out of the eyes and he stood up to receive the instructions of their test. Kakashi explained the test, "You have until noon to get these bells." He said holding out two bells.

Sakura looked at the bells before looking back up to Kakashi, "But there are only two bells, and there are three of us." Kakashi nodded, "Whoever doesn't manage to get a bell will be tied to a post while the other two eat their lunch." The three genin realised why Kakashi suggested they don't eat, "It didn't help I didn't eat dinner just to be skinny and impress Sasuke" Sakura thought.

Kakashi set the time and called "Begin," and the three genin jumped away towards the trees.

Menma slowly began to stir awake, but before long, a migraine came rippling through her head, making her groan. As she sat up, her hands cradled her aching head. After a moment, she rubbed her eyes and opened them, they quickly darted around. "Oh, you've finally woken up. That's good, how are you feeling?" Menma quickly actived her fully matured sharigan before it evolved into her Mangekyo Sharingan, at the center, a hexagram-like shape emerged, interwoven with layered, petal-like structures that radiat outward in a symmetrical fashion. The presence of circular nodes within the design adds an element of complexity, reminiscent to the tomoe found in traditional Sharigan eyes. The geometric precision and sharp, angular details exude an aura of mystery and overwhelming power. It was a mesmerizing, almost hypnotic pattern, as she stared at the person who was speaking.

The person who spoke has long black hair that hung loosely around her waist. She has large dark brown eyes that complemented her appearance. She also has pale skin and a slender frame. She wore a pink, sleeveless kimono, with pale red edges and decorated with small plum-colored swirls, that went to her ankles. Around her waist was a simple white obi belt tued in a bow, and she wore a pair of light brown sandals with dark straps. She also wore a dark-colored choker arounder her neck.

Menma relaxed at bit, a sigh of relief escaping her lips. "It's just you Haku. Did Zabuza allow you to come to me?" Menma questioned, she knew the nukenin wouldn't have liked it if Haku randomly disappeared. Haku lightly laughed and responded "It's alright, Master Zabuza-sama is fine with it. How are you doing Menma?" Menma lightly chuckled and reached out to ruffle Haku's hair, "I've been better, but definitlly better."

Haku lightly pouted as Menma ruffled her hair, which just made Menma laugh, "Alright, let's go." Haku nodded and helped Menma up and they hobbled, since Menma's legs are weak after the whole ordeal of being hit with that medical needle, away.

However the roots growing through the floor and ceiling went unnoticed as they walked away.

Kabuto whimpered, he had been plagued with nightmares for weeks. Right now, he lay in bed wearing a loose purple shirt and black shorts that reach to his knees. Tatuya was in a seperate futon, but her eyes lingered on his figure, she was worrying about her brother, as he was unable to get a wink of sleep for the past few months, she wanted to help him, immensly, but she didn't know what to do...

All she could do was watch as he continued to whimper. Unable to take it anymore, she climbed over to her brothers futon, and crawled into his arms, hoping her presence would offer some comfort.(NOT A SHIP! THEY ARE LIKE SIBLINGS!)

To her surprise, Kabuto slowly calmed down and pulled her close, he was trembling and on the verge of tears. She wrapped her arms around Kabuto, hoping to soothe him more. As she held him, her eyes slowly fluttered shut and the last thing she heard was "thank you... anego-chan..." and then she fell asleep...

Minato walked back inside the Akatsuki cave cradling Itachi like he did all those years ago... Minato shook those thoughts away and began to focus on his surroundings. Walking inside, Madara was busy with the sake, while Hashirama was attempting to get him to stop. Fugaku was busy having his daily mental breakdown. Minato ignored it all and went to Itachi's room and set him in bed before pulling the blanket over his slumbering figure.

Minato looked over Itachi's peaceful face before leaving to go talk to Nagato about the Edo Tensei.

However, he failed to see the masked persona watch him leaving...
