Reaper of Rome chapter 31 – when holy grail wars collide
This holy grail war will happen during house of hades
and will cover my own take on fate strange fake
Unlike the original strange fake this story will take place in Nashville over Nevada
But I will get into more as the chapter goes on
This chapter is placed right around the same time as the last chapter of sword dragon
Ichigo pov
Day 0
After we met with the servant Sherlock Holmes, I called Reyna and she told me "There's a former camp Jupiter resident working at Carton, just make sure you have your camp shirts on when you check in and he will help you as needed. After that, we slept using the bathrooms to clean ourselves up as much as possible and then slept until eleven. After that we did everything to set up for the summoning and it was ready exactly ten minutes before. We used a room with a large blood stain on it and I worked as the others kept the ghosts away. it was a few minutes after a servant came out of the summoning circle as mist came out and as the mist cleared, I noticed it was a woman with cat ears, a cat tail, long green hair and a sword and a bow on her back. she said "servant Saber, Atalanta at your service. I can't say why I was summoned to a saber class instead of archer but if I had to guess it's due to the archer servant already summoned. Also do you know why this area feels like Greece." I told my servant, "Gaia is likely involved. We know two of her children are somewhere in this city and one of the other masters could be working with her." my servant said, "I know who she is but not why she is awake." I replied, "Hecate told me she's a beast of humanity and there's a team trying to defeat her."
After that, we used the next few hours to sleep and were woken up at four am by our contact. He arrived with a car and said "it would be ideal if you kids didn't wreck it and who's your new friend? Is she some kind of cosplay model?" I told the man about my servant and that she's the famous Greek hero Atalanta. Then she and I would have to fight six other mages with their own servants. After that he told us where the hotel was and said it had GPS.
Our next task was to get into the hotel and get real showers. It was in the middle of my shower, It was in the middle of my shower I got a note from Sherlock saying "this war will be a series of one on one matches each day until only one master and servant survive. Your first battle will be at Bridgestone arena at ten pm, don't be late. After that the next match is at the Metro Skate Park at eleven pm, you are allowed to come and see it. With that we visited the local mall to get one fresh clothing and kill some time. Then we rested again to prepare for our battle. we soon headed to the hockey stadium to learn the ice was active and my first opponent was a man named Kodac with his servant Ivan the Terrible, but instead looking like a human. The servant was an elephant-like creature with the master riding on top. We soon clashed but my servant was able to use arrows to the monster servant while she dodged and took no damage. After her shot, I used my rifle to hit the master in the shoulder. But in turn he used ice magic to make it easier for his servant. But after more dodges, the servant used his noble phantasm to create and fuse with a mammoth. But with the help of my three friends, and my servant, we were able to take out Ivan's eye then the cat girl dealt a lethal blow. After that the master fell and was impaled by his own ice spike.
After that, we headed to the next venue to learn it was Morgan le fey as caster against Asvatthaman archer. With the masters clearly not liking each other, caster's master openly admitted to killing a hooker to empower his servant. The clashes with caster clearly overpower the raging archer. Her master looked like a twisted man with almost elflike ears and the master of archer looked and talked very flamboyantly. It was soon into the fight both masters exchanged attacks with the master of archer who we learned was named Pepe using curses and the other seeming to turn his body beast like. It didn't take long for sheer bestial power and magical power to win out win out but the master of caster Beryl didn't leave scot-free and he followed my team to the location of the final match,
Said match was at the speedway and was Xiang Yu berserker who was a mechanized centaur against Tezcatlipoca assassin who looked like an eighties rock star. The two soon clashed but the assassin was clearly stronger than the mechanized monster as the master of assassin revealed his servant was a god using the form of a Kurt Cobain. The god servant was ripping pieces off the mechanized monster with each clash and with each the master who looked like a young Chinese woman in glasses started to shred her façade. Then soon she revealed she was a vampiric creature. But the blond, tan master of assassin seemed to be able to counter her perfectly and soon created a giant skeleton to crush the servant and kill the master. With that our day ended and Sherlock said he would send words about the next matches tomorrow and told us find places to sleep until then.
After that we returned to the hotel and slept and when we woke up in the morning, when we woke up in the morning, find out when the next matches would be, and both were at centennial park back-to-back in front of the replica Parthenon with my match against caster and her master and the lancer versus assassin. Jolyne was about to ask a question only for the man to go on what seemed like a long rant about beards and why he didn't have one. He then said to our group, "for this battle your best weapons will be your power over the mist Ichigo and Narciso to use his charm speak. The secret to this match is time, you have to use the mist and charm to buy enough time for the curses on Beryl to kill him and absolutely don't let your stands touch time. I two last pieces of information, Gaia and the one that started this holy grail war are brewing something with the other side of the war and try to avoid staying out of the statue of Athena's gaze. She holds a grudge against the romans still and will until the original statue is returned to the Greek demigod camp.
After that it was time for the match, and it started with my servant trying to dodge magical attacks while my partner and I were using a mix of Charm Speak and The Mist to slow the master. But it wasn't long before the match that Beryl figured out the statue was empowering him out of sheer spit to me. but I was able to use my last anti skin walker bullet to deal a lethal blow while my main teammate and I rendered the witch of Britan weak enough for my servant to remove her head and deal a fatal blow.
After that came the battle between the last two master's and in said battle, I learned this group was meant to go on a mission soon with the blond man Kirschtaria Wodime meant to be the leader. The match started out with lancer and her master dominating but, then said man said "I am the son of Athena, and my mother will empower me to fight like this is the age when the Greek gods ruled all. But as he tried tap into the power of the gods, it didn't work, and I said "don't you know the war between the demigod camps is making it, so the gods are having trouble sharing their power. under this case only the most neutral gods are able to do anything let alone share their blessings." That made him gasp as the master of lancer and his servant lost concentration and soon the match turned with assassin and his master winning the fight. We soon knew the final match would be tomorrow.
But as it did Merlin teleported into the park to say, "Count you can reveal true self now, this war is about to expand." Then earth and space warped as Sherlock changed into a man in a green cloak that said "I am sorry the final match won't be tomorrow. We have five more masters and servants in this war now. I will have to contact them for more matches you can go find places to rest, I will get to you all with more matches tomorrow."
After that, we went back to the hotel to find a blond British boy in our room and after a little talking and feeling bad for him. He revealed his name was Flat, and then he told us about the other war and that his servant saved him as he was transported. We agreed to let him stay at our party as long he was useful. It wasn't long until he started to Gawk over us and the fact, we were campers and soldiers in a roman demigod camp. he wasn't even aware that the age of gods never ended and all our stories of the battles we had on the way had distracted him until we got tired and went to sleep.
It was the next day that we received a letter saying, "I must accept these next competitors due to magical binds placed. But I will tell each of the original masters the true meaning of this war. it is to choose servant to ascend to grand servant status and stop Gaia. But none of these other servants have the qualities to face her properly in their current classes so I any master that defeats one of them will receive extra command spells."
Then he listed the matches Saber Atalanta vs nameless assassin, at Hale stadium at nine pm, Saber Richard vs assassin Tez at First bank stadium and finally Caster Dumas vs Archer Gil at first horizon stadium with Lancer Enkidu and his master getting the bye.
After that Flat borrowed my phone to call his girlfriend to tell her she was sent to Nashville and we learned she would meet us in a few hours in the mall. There we found Merlin, and he said to Flat "I need you to make sure she lives for at least after twenty years but when asked why he vanished." After that we sat around and waited for this girlfriend to arrive and met a girl with gray hair that looked very tomboyish but dressed very girly. She asked us what was happening, and we explained it to the best our ability to do so. The girl's name was Gray El-Melloi, and she would watch this war and report the results to her master. As we started to worry about that her lover told us this master is a good person that competed in the four holy grail war.
After that it came to our match and the master of this servant wasn't happy that the arena for our battle was stacked against his victory but seemed to have no choice but to do so. But with my recently mastered power of the mist and my servant's skill the match posed no problem, but the moderator servant clearly didn't want this servant to win and said servant clearly wasn't matched up to mine.
After that we went to the next arena to see this other Saber face the god in mortal form we only knew as Tez. Both fought hard but in time Saber's master couldn't last long and both master and servant were overpowered. I even I could tell this moderate servant cheated by doing something to the master. I wasn't happy with how it ended but knew it had to end this way.
The next match was between two of the masters from the other grail war and the Caster who was the writer Dumas had risen human mages to the state of heroes but even with such master and servant and their false heroes couldn't stand the overwhelming power that was Gilgamesh.
But as the fight ended the giants I knew as Hippolytos and Enceladus revealed themselves, but the one only known as count said "masters and servant here I need you to stop these interlopers, they can only be killed by both a demigod and a god. Then he pointed at my servant and said, "reveal your duality Atalanta Takemikazuchi." Then Atalanta held her head and said, "so I was summoned merged with a Japanese god to solve this problem." It was then the servants teamed up on the giants to completely destroy them with one saying, "Gaia won't let you get away with this." Then after that a woman with a red jacket and a wipe showed up and said to the cloaked servant, "count of monte Cristo, I am your biggest fan and one time supporter. But why were you summoned here?" he replied, "each of these masters has a target of revenge and the issue of a beast must be corrected." After that we said to us the final battle will be at Nissan stadium tomorrow night and it will be a free for all between all four remaining master and servant pairs."
After that we returned to the hotel and slept, then after a few hours' rest Flat wanted to explore Nashville. We ended up meeting a man that had to be the Count of Monte Cristo in a weird coat and swimsuit mix and he told me "Enkidu's master is a wolf modified to summon a servant. If you flex your authority, you should be able to use the master's authority over the servant to gain a second servant under your control."
A few hours later the battle came into a football stadium. I started to try to control the wolf but had never used said power it was hard to use a distance. The only solace I had was that neither Gilgamesh's nor Enkidu's could really fight as mages. But the sheer power the two ancient servants held was even pushing Tez into a hole. But soon Enkidu was distracted enough that I could use the mist to get close enough to the wolf to take control. I soon gave her the order, "use two command seals and order Enkidu to focus on Gil and Tez alone." That turned the servant much like a machine that went after the two other servants. But then I remembered the story of Gilgamesh and remembered he was never able to defeat Gilgamesh on his own.
the two fought hard and the other master used the chaos to deal killing blows on the other masters. But both servants have enough magic still in them to fight to the death. With that came the last battle between the last two masters. I knew I didn't have enough to use the mist on this man and my friends weren't allowed to get involved. But I could keep the man away using my gun and sword. In time my servant tapped into her power to create a massive sword to cut the assassin and his construction in two. After that, I managed to get a fatal shot at the master.
With that the count came out asked "you have won so you get a wish a gift." I said to the servant "I would like to get my soul reaper powers back." the servant said, "neither I nor the grail have the ability to give them back right away, but I can give you something to help." in front of me appeared a white katana and he said "give this to your lover and tell her to pass this on to Urahara, he should be able to do something." I don't know exactly how but there's a chance this could at least temporarily return your power. as for your gift, I am proving you with the treasure I collected and offering my services until you can get proper revenge." I then asked, "who do I want revenge on?" then Nemesis came out and said, "neither I nor the count know who you need to get revenge on, but there's a target you need to get revenge on."
After that he said, "put on my hat and you should be able to use my power without needing the grail." After that a power came over Atalanta and then she said "I am free of the grail and your command seals. But I need to help the seven heroes stop the beast that is Gaia. We have to wait until she fully emerges and then I will know what to do." After that, I got a call from Reyna that said "the doors of death are shut, but the seven heroes still have to stop the giants from pulling out the roots of the gods and I have to bring the Athena statue back to camp half blood. I will need your help as soon as we reach Stateside. Wait at the Athena statue in Nashville and hopefully she will guide you to the original.

Next chapter will have ichigo help renya back with the athena to camp half blood and then battle the goddess turned beast
But first issei and Shirou will have to prepare for their rating games as the world falls apart around them
