Chapter 1 School Letter

The year was 1982 and home in a place called Mega City, two teenage brothers were eagerly awaiting for the mailman to deliver a very special letter. Their names were Connor and Jack Shepherd and they both had superpowers. Connor was the older brother and possessed the power concussive sonic blasts. Jack was the younger brother and had incredible super speed. The two brothers had discovered their powers at a young age and with help from their parents, who didn't have superpowers, but had connections to the government they were able to hon their powers and apply to the super secret superhero school Sky High.
Sky High trained people with powers to become the greatest superheroes of the future and protect the Earth. Both Connor and Jack looked forward to going to Sky High and proving their skills.
Soon the mailman arrived and pushed the mail through the slot. In a blur of speed Jack grabbed the mail and found an envelope addressed to him and Connor. Jack opened it up and read it.
"Congratulations Connor and Jack Shepherd. After reviewing reports on your progress and skills, the board of Sky High has agreed to let you attend classes. A bus will arrive to pick you up next week and take you to our establishment. We look forward to seeing you and helping you to becoming the heroes of tomorrow."
Both brothers read the letter again and then they just looked at each other in excitement.
"We did it little brother!" Cheered Connor as he grabbed Jack and hugged.
"We're going to be the best heroes the world has ever seen!" Cheered Jack.
The two of them were real excited as they wonder what Sky High and the future held for them.
