Universal Collisions: Secret Crisis

Chapter 15: Extraction

"What did you do?"

"I aimed for the head!"

Many years ago

Asgard was a people, not a place, though Odin had picked a place for the people of Asgard to live, it didn't seem fair to the people of Midgard to occupy their territory. In the coming years, Earth would be a haven for many, planetary governments became so destabilised by what the mortals had come to call 'the blip' that they required refuge, hence why 'New Asgard' became a place for many people beyond the surviving Asgardians.

No place in the galaxy was as destabilised however as the Shiar. An intergalactic empire that had given Thanos pause before, the Empress had been one of many who had been faded out of existence, leaving the empire to be ruled by her mad younger brother. A great Civil War had consumed the Shiar Empire, and one thing that could distract Thor from his grief was war. With Stormbreaker in hand, he split the imperial fleet in half, landing on the world of Korbin.

"ENOUGH!" Thor yelled.

He brought his hammer down on a Shiar hover tank, and then he lit up the skies with electricity. The lightning spread upwards towards the atmosphere, hitting the Shiar invasion ships.

"WHO DARES INTERFERE WITH SHIAR'S CONQUEST!" the Shiar princess and general demanded.

She was a dark haired woman in purple battle gear that included bladed wings, fitting as Thor had heard she was known as Warbird.

"He dares to challenge us princess," the green skinned alien sitting at the ship's helm said.

Warbird looked at the flickering camera view of Thor. He was garbed in a simple grey shirt with a red cloak around his shoulders.

"The Imperial guard, prepare to…"

"Ma'am, something is entering the system, a strong energy…"

"YOU DARE INTERRUPT ME!" Warbird yelled, glaring at the insect like crew member.

"Forgive me princess it's just, an energy source has come into the system and, and…" the crew member's eyes were wide, overcome by shock and concern.

"Spit it out crewmen," Warbird said.

"It didn't use the jump point ma'am, it was just raw speed," the crewman said.

"Impossible, on screen now," Warbird commanded.

"We can't track it," despite the crewman's protests, he did as he was told.

It was small, the size of a person, and it moved so fast that the Shiar in their insect like ships shielded their eyes. All they saw was a bright silver light, surfing around their ships. Thor looked up at the sky and saw the light dashing around Korbon. He launched himself into the sky with Stormbreaker, trying to catch up with the flying object. The son of Odin could just make out the silhouette of a person flying across Korbon's sea, leaving tidal waves in its wake. Then like everyone else on Korbon he heard a voice echo in his mind.

"Members of the Shiar Empire, your claim to Korbon is now null and void, leave the system immediately or you will be eliminated. People of Korbon, begin evacuation of your world, for it has been claimed by my master!"

Two months later

When they had been given the task of tracking Thor, the crew of the Anelle II knew they were undertaking a task that would ultimately go nowhere. Those individuals who the Skrulls could replace would be human, easily mimicked and easily taken. But there was a reason Thor Odinson was known as the strongest of the Avengers, why he was feared across more than just the nine realms Asgard watched over. The captain of the Anelle II though looked at the remains of Korbon in horror. If any unfortunate soul on Korbon remained on the planet then they were reduced to dust. Slowly, the planet began to break apart; its greenery and oceans withered and dried up respectively until nothing left on the planet was alive. The Shiar had long fled and left only the ruins of ships that couldn't make it away in time.

"He did not love Korbon, he did not watch over Korbon," the captain's second mate, a devotee of Veranke's said.

"I doubt even He would have been able to save Korbon, such power," the captain muttered, looking at the devastation. "Only a Celestial could accomplish such destruction, and they have dedicated themselves to creation!"

"Captain Kl'rt," one of the young crew members perked up, looking towards the captain.

"What is it Xavin?" the captain asked.

"One life signature detected, Asgardian, but nothing would survive this," Xavin said.

Kl'rt narrowed his eyes as the image appeared on the main screen. Like the rest of his crew he was astonished by the sight of Thor floating in space. The man was missing an arm, Stormbreaker was floating away from him and part of his hair had burned. Kl'rt though was a warrior, he admired the stubborn strength of the Asgardian. Even though Thor had been defeated, a concern in itself, he clung to life and perhaps the promise that one day he would meet the terrible force that destroyed Korbon again.

"Prepare a space suit, and contact the empress, tell her we will have taken another one of the founding Avengers," Kl'rt said.

Present Time

Steve Rogers believed in God, even when he met Thor his faith in the god his parent's taught him to pray to every Sunday did not fade. That faith only grew to encompass Thor, not as a god, but as a team mate and friend and someone Steve recognised as a soldier. Tony had seen what war could do to soldiers, but he was never a soldier himself, he had never fought on the frontlines of a war before he put on the armour. Though Steve would always remember Tony, the two of them didn't have the understanding that Steve had with Thor. He looked upon an imprisoned soldier and saw not just the torture of what the Skrulls were doing to him, but the torture of being unable to fight. For though there was a galaxy of difference between the mortal and Asgardian, both were called to war and were eager to answer that call.

"Thor, that's freaking Thor," the Lang girl stuttered, overcome by the shock of Thor's presence.

"Calm down, what are they doing to him?" Steve asked, hoping the girl had engineering knowledge like her father.

Cassie took a deep breath, looking over Thor's chamber and the machine's whirling around him.

"A faraday cage, it's a giant faraday cage to capture electricity," she said.

"Can we shut it down?" Steve asked.

"I think so but," Cassie's voice drifted as she looked over Cap's shoulder.

She was the first to see the Skrull guards come through.

"LOOK OUT!" she screamed.

Cap turned, firing his blaster, hitting one of the guards in the chest. The second fired back and Steve dived to the side. Cassie ran along the ground at ant size, jumped forward, grew and kneed the Skrull in the face. Suddenly a shockwave slammed into Cassie's gut, throwing her against the wall. A Skrull bounded into the room with two other guards at his side. The Skrull though had metallic gauntlets on his arms, had bark covering his shoulders and Stark armour on his chest and boots.

"Surrender or don't, the latter would be preferable," the super Skrull grinned.

Strange looked over their chances, the team captured, at the mercy of the Skrulls. Portable stasis units had been put in to hold Stephen and his allies. Rhodey, Harvey and Riri were bound too, away from their armour. Criti Noll stood, still wearing the Ant-man suit but with his Skrull features on display.

"Soon we will have the first of the marks, and finally the Skrulls will be the ones shaping reality, not humans," Criti sneered.

Ignoring the Skrull commander, Strange looked to the armed guards, whose numbers were going down as they went to investigate some sort of incident. It still left numerous enhanced Skrulls. He counted a Skrull with Drax's bulk but the tattoo of the immortal iron fist on his chest, as well as a mock version of the cloak of levitation. The real cloak was being held in a telekinetic field by a red haired Skrull woman, who also had a devil like tail and some kind of ruby visor over her eyes. She was flanked either side by a Skrull with vampire like fangs, a pair of swords and a trench coat, and a Skrull with three pronged blades sticking out of his wrists, and photonic energy like Danvers.

The Skrull who impersonated Cap ran up to Criti, whispering something into his ear. Both stood to attention and turned to their soldiers.

"Everyone, the queen is ready," Criti said.

Each of the Skrulls bowed as a star shaped portal opened.

"Impossible," Chavez whispered.

A party emerged from the portal, guards in heavy armour, carrying lance like weapons. These royal guards gave way to two more super Skrulls, one with steel skin, glowing red eyes and a devil's tail and another carrying a staff of one, with Asgardian runes on her chest. They were the ones protecting Veranke, now dressed in a lavish crown and jewellery, diamond shaped earrings, status rings on her fingers and a red and black robe with a cloak linked to her bracelets.

"All hail Queen Veranke," Criti said.

"That portal was the same as America's," Harvey pointed out.

"Which should be impossible," Chavez said.

She looked to Strange, who nodded his head. He closed his eyes, letting his spirit exit his body and floating around the room, taking the time that the kid, his kid would buy him.

"I don't dream, there are no other versions of me," Chavez said.

"Unless your power isn't unique to your counter parts," Rhodey suggested.

"There are many who have your powers child," Veranke said, walking away from her entourage, bidding her servants to rise as she drew closer to Chavez. "But you are incorrect in assuming you are the only version of yourself."

"I told you lady, I don't dream," Chavez said defiantly.

"First rule of the Multiverse child, you don't know anything!" Veranke smirked and Chavez sneered.

"Dreams, they aren't windows to see our other lives," Riri said.

Veranke clicked her fingers, taking on Tony's form, sliding over to Riri.

"Correcto to my replacement as Iron…well we won't worry about missing parts," she said, changing to the Defender Strange. "That was the popular theory he had, but it is so much deeper than you can imagine," she suddenly changed into Chavez, but older and wearing denim shorts with a kite shield shaped American flag on her shirt. "There are other versions of you, but they all share a unique trait of not being able to see their other lives. Why should they need to when they can see into other Earths?" Veranke asked before she again changed, this time turning into a man in a blue suit.

The suit had black gloves and a white circle on the breast with the number '4' on it. America looked at the man Veranke had turned into, the black gloves and boots and the white side burns in the man's hair made her think of the Illuminati's Reed Richard's. This Reed though had a different costume and face, as well as being clean shaven.

"The smartest human on our Earth theorised that what we saw in dreams was a type of 'warning system' like the feeling prey gets when predators are nearby. The possibilities that exist within the Multiverse influence our minds, what we see in dreams are our fears of what the world can be take shape, it's a type of warning to our subconscious minds that have an extremely small link to the fifth dimension," Veranke spoke like a college lecturer, using a British accent in the Reed she mimicked.

"Tony, he told me once he dreamed about his suit coming alive," Rhodey said.

"A subconscious fear of his inventions going wild, whilst years later Maximoff would bring out another of his nightmares, the fate of the Avengers should he not do more. In the end his earlier nightmares and the possibility of his inventions becoming a danger were what came true," Veranke explained.

She turned into her natural form, turning to America again.

"Our empire, our people were scattered; even our home world had been consumed by the great destroyer. But salvation came in the form of Guardians," as Veranke spoke she changed again.

Star Lord, but he wore blue and yellow armour, and then Drax wearing a purple cowl, gold bands and a cloak, Gamora in white and red battle armour, a bug like man with mantis legs, then a man in a gold helmet with a red star burst pattern on it.

"They offered to save us, to help us find a new home, and amongst these Guardians was a woman who could create Multiversal portals," Veranke smiled as she turned into another older version of America.

But this America had white star tattoos on her wrists and wore a full white and blue bodysuit with a white and blue jacket.

"Space and time were nothing to her; she was capable of sending our people to the far off future so that we wouldn't displace anyone. Such power was wasted," Veranke sneered.

"Of course, bad guy gets offered help but only sees how she can take advantage," Riri said.

"Girl the power of the star child goes far beyond simply teleporting to other realities, by transcending time I would have been able to save not just my people but…"

"Create the perfect version of the universe, yeah, every bad guy thinks they can do it," Rhodey said. "There is a little problem though; the fact that by travelling back in time you might undo your own need to go back in time in the first…"

"It doesn't work like that," Criti said, groaning.

"How does time travel work then?" Chavez asked.

"Your attempt to buy time is an admirable ploy child, but ultimately a pointless one," Veranke said.

She smirked as astral forms of her court mage and the Skrull in the false levitation cloak came out of their bodies. Stephen gasped as he was kicked in the chest, sent tumbling through the walls of the ship. He passed the room Steve and Cassie were in, the former dodging a shockwave fired by a super Skrull. Cassie woke up, growing to a semi-giant size and knocking the guards back. She swung her fist at the super Skrull, only for him to create several tendrils of bark, wrapping around her arm so tightly that she felt it pop out of place. The girl screamed and Steve fired his blaster, hitting the super Skrull in the back. Green blood spread across the floor, the Skrull turned in fury and roared:

"I AM NOT GROOT!" he yelled mockingly, extending his tongue and turning it into a vine that wrapped around Steve's throat.

He gagged for air, lifted over the Skrull's head whilst Cassie was pulled closer. She let out a yell underneath her helmet, shrinking and flying at the vine like tongue. Cassie didn't hold back, hitting the appendage like a bullet. Hank had always told her to hold back, that potentially, they were lethal at even their small sizes. They retained their strength and mass, yet their speed enhanced to a degree that they could burst through flesh. That's why punches had to be held back and precisely timed, why they typically used throws or submissions holds combined with the increase of momentum when they grew back. So Cassie grew at the exact moment she punched the Skrull's tongue, tearing through it. She was half her regular size when she landed, immediately shrinking again when the Skrull's aimed at her. Steve though was freed and fired his blaster as he landed, hitting the guards and their enhanced commander.

"Stature whatever you can do to free Thor, or anyone here, do it," Steve commanded.

The super Skrull made a shield from bark, snarling at Steve as he approached him. Steve rolled across the room, dodging the bruiser's crushing blows. Stephen felt his astral self get pulled back into his body, coughing blood to the shock of his allies.

"A good try, but no one is coming to save any of you," Queen Veranke declared.

Earth 616

Nick kept one hand on his gun, a similar and sensible habit Mack had undertaken. The director hadn't taken his hands off of his shotgun axe since the helicopter had taken off. One thing Fury would have criticised about Coulson's replacement though, was that the man had his back to the pilot's. Still, Nick felt it was smart of the man to still be suspicious of him and Talos.

"Okay, there's only so much awkwardness I can take, you're telling me the reason Danvers didn't respond to your distress signal back in the battle of New York days is because she had been incapacitated back then, and had only succeeded in mimicking her powers when Thanos did his little…" Talos drifted slightly to snap his fingers.

"That's my working theory," Fury said.

"Daisy, when did she get replaced, when Coulson died? When we went back in time?" Mack muttered.

"You ask me it's entirely possible that you might very well be a Skrull and not know it, hell I could be a Skrull and not know it," Fury said.

"How did you lose your eye then?" Mack asked.

"Joseph Fury," Nick said with a bitter smile.

"Fury as in…"

"My brother, at least on his birth certificate," Nick said.

"Impossible, you don't have a brother," Mack said.

"You make everything about your life known on the files?" Nick asked and Mack rubbed his head bashfully. "Joseph and I worked for S.H.I.E.L.D, I still had my eye coming out of the encounter with the Kree."

"I can vouch for that its true, Nick didn't really make a huge impact until the...what did they call themselves?" Talos asked.

"The Zodiac," Nick said.

"Oh now I remember, dressed up like animals, had this interest in a type of key," Talos said.

"We can spare the details, the big twist is that Joseph was providing intelligence to Zodiac, I thought he was pulling a triple agent move because naturally I trusted my brother, this," Nick tapped his eye as he spoke. "Is the proof that you can't trust anyone."

"You don't trust the Avengers?" Mack asked.

They felt the helicopter begin to descend; Nick looked out of the window and huffed. T'Challa was waiting for them with Vision, who was keeping away from Wanda, who was in turn being watched by Wong, with Clint seeming to be the only one willing to go near her. She-Hulk had put a towel over the shirtless Banner, sitting on the floor with the Pym's also there. Nick was drawn to the Wonder Woman, and the Martian Manhunter and he let out a chuckle.

"Trusting isn't the same as hoping," he said.

"Too many things are going on, another incident at Westview, the business with Wanda and that man who could control metal," T'Challa remarked.

"You are saying that there was no way to avoid these crises?" Vision asked.

"I'm saying it might all be one crisis," the Black Panther said.

Wanda was hugging her arms, not just because of the rush of air from the landing helicopter. She could feel Wong still watching her, knowing she deserved the suspicion.

"Hey Wanda," Clint snapped his fingers, grimacing when she looked up in shock. "Sorry, poor thing to do, listen, I know you're low about everything that's happened. You've done some awful things, but some of those things are on us too, I should have checked in…"

"Clint no," Wanda said as Hawkeye raised his hands.

"I was so relieved to get back what I had lost, all of us were, we mourned for Vision, Tony and Nat and didn't even consider what the whole thing had done to you, I should have…"

"We are not family Clint," Wanda said, a trickle of her old accent coming out.

Clint widened his eyes in shock.

"Nat, she wanted to think of this as a family, but we all proved it wasn't a family when the accords happened. Pietro was my family, Vision could have been, and when I lost them I grew so desperate that I tried to make a family at the expense of everyone else. None of the Avengers came, none came to check on me, none came to Spider-man's defence when he was accused of murdering Mysterio, none came to Wakanda's aid when Atlantis hit them…" Wanda explained.

"I think it was called Talakan or something," Clint pointed out.

"It's a city under the sea, its Atlantis," Wanda said.

"No disagreeing with you there, on either of the counts, we've not done a good job of living by Natasha's expectations. Nate's getting curious about whom he got his middle name from, and talking about the ones we love can help," Clint explained.

"Don't try to save me Clint, I'm doomed," Wanda shook her head with tears in her eyes.

The gathered super humans looked to the clearing ahead of them as a blue portal appeared. Fury exited the helicopter as a green skinned alien walked out. He wore a blue suit with a red X on the chest. But as soon as the man saw the League's Martian, a red glow spread across his body. J'onn turned into his human body of Hank Henshaw, even changing his costume into his simplified vest. Behind him Alex and Kelly stepped out, both in their costumes.

"We heard there was a problem," J'onn said.

"Infiltrators, able to fool our telepathy but not Diana's lasso," his league counterpart said.

"The lasso of Hestia compels whoever touches it to tell the truth," Diana said.

"I can think of a court argument against it, justice through coercion," She-Hulk quipped.

"But considering we're all under suspicion, how about we join hands for a little confession," Fury suggested.

"I agree, with the others across the Multiverse we need to settle this trust issue before we try to help," Wong said.

"Flash disappeared along with Aeon, for all we know they could be in the same place our teams are," Diana said.

"We'll find them, if not they're obviously going to be doing what they can to help themselves, in the mean time people from Earth 838 came to retrieve Wanda, obviously we cannot give her up," Black Panther explained.

"Why not, I mean no offence to Wanda here but she did kill people on their Earth," Talos said.

"She also committed crimes here and she's still an Avenger," Clint said, shielding Wanda slightly.

"They intended to take Wanda, without a trial of any kind?" She-Hulk asked.

"We don't have time to fight about who did what, I've got a team mate missing," Mack said.

"Along with my daughter, plus Scott," Hank said.

"Then let us first settle who we can trust," J'onn said.

The eyes of both Martian Manhunters glowed as Diana unravelled her lasso, stretching it first into the hands of the Martians, who passed the line of lasso around the group. Eventually all of the heroes were joined by the glowing golden lasso. The glow intensified with each person affected by the lasso and the Martian Telepathy.

"I feel guilty, so many people would have been spared if I had stopped hiding sooner, I didn't care about the world until I saw Superman fight for it," the J'onn who was once Calvin Swanwick confessed.

"I too was only inspired by the actions of a member of the house of El," the J'onn who once claimed to be Hank Heywood smiled fondly as he remembered Supergirl, and Alex Danvers.

"In 1984 I was reunited with the man I loved, I let my love for him blind me to the fact that another man was forced to be a host for his spirit by my own wish," Diana said, shedding a tear as she remembered the last time she saw Steve Trevor's face.

"I never believed in Scott Lang, I still struggle to accept him as Ant-man, part of me wants to put on that suit again," Hank Pym said.

"When I was in the Quantum realm, I considered cheating on Hank," Janet lowered her head in shame.

"Laura thinks I belong here, but I wanted more than anything to get away from this craziness," Clint said.

"I was afraid of Daisy…Skye, I've always been afraid of enhanced individuals," Mack said, shaking his head in pain as he momentarily fought the lasso.

"I brought Coulson back to life and never told any of you," Fury said, Clint and Bruce narrowed their eyes at him for his confession.

"I'm ashamed of myself, I was so scared of my life changing when I became She-Hulk that I tried to make my experiences as a woman sound worse than what Bruce's father put him through," Jennifer explained.

She let go of the lasso and put her hand to her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Bruce," she said.

"Eric Killmonger is still alive," T'Challa said.

Each of the heroes looked at the king in shock.

"He wanted to die, but I saved him, because the living aren't done with him yet," the king of Wakanda hissed.

"I'm a Skrull as you see, my hands aren't clean, I've killed dozens, including our Emperor's own daughter, it was the last order I ever followed as a loyal soldier of the Skrull Empire, because our emperor feared that his grandchild was both a Skrull and Kree hybrid, what he didn't know was that the Princess Anelle had already given birth when I killed her," Talos explained.

He too let go of the lasso and rubbed the bridge of his nose with a mournful sigh.

"My sister revealed her true identity, and I resented her for it, because all I could think about was the giant target she had painted on my daughter," Alex fought back tears of her own amongst her frustration.

"I'm jealous, jealous of Maggy Sawyer, the first woman my wife loved," Kelly said.

Vision looked at the part of the lasso he held, tilting his head curiously.

"This has no affect on me," he said, dropping the lasso with a somewhat disappointed expression.

"Wanda killed so many sorcerers when she attacked Kamar Taj, including the woman I love, I will never forgive her for it," Wong said.

Wanda looked down at the lasso, a red aura surrounded her as the golden lasso briefly took on a red hue. She grit her teeth together and shook her head in remorse with tears in her eyes.

"I knew what I was doing, manipulating the people of Westview, altering reality, forcing people to play the parts I deemed, and I didn't care, because I had everything that I wanted, my Vision, children, everything I ever wanted and felt I deserved and I wasn't sorry, that's why I looked at the book and believed everything it put into my head because I wanted those children, I wanted them and I didn't realise or care how monstrous I had become until I saw them afraid of me," Wanda held the lasso tightly, crying hysterically.

Clint put his arms around her, pulling the lasso out of her grip.

"I only became an Avenger, only spared Natasha, because once long ago Fury believed me, a carny turned criminal deserved a second chance, Natasha and I both still believe we can be more than our worst mistakes, its why I spared Nat, why I spared that Echo chick, its why we saw that you and your brother could be Avengers, avenging also applies to putting things right," Clint explained.

"So let's figure out a way to get our people back, so we can start putting things right," Fury said.

"Our people are all heroes Fury, each of them has stood without Avengers alone against threats, we can believe in them too," T'Challa said.

Quantum Realm

Stephen yelled in pain as he was brought to his knees. The other trapped Avengers looked towards America, who was levitated off of the floor by Veranke. Her mystics surrounded her, each creating eldritch runes with energy streams from their hands. America grit her teeth together, glaring at the Skrull queen, who smiled back.

"Do not worry child, it is a moment of pain and then bliss, your power will serve a greater purpose, he loves you!" the empress said.

"I don't swing that way," America said.

"Really kid?"

"Hey if I'm about to die I'm at least going out with one more quip," America tried to shrug, but her arms were pulled up.

She was suspended in the air, forced to hold a cross position.

"Stop!" Stephen called out.

"Leave her alone," Riri said.

"Begin the ritual," Veranke said.

"We invoke the sacred names, Dormammu, Mephisto, great serpent of Asgard, Knull, Cthulhu, Onyx, Darkon, entropy is truth, everything dies, all falls into ruin, all is reborn through crisis, marked is the destiny which belongs to doom!"

Steve struggled against the Super Skrull's vines, looking to Cassie, who was dodging blaster fire in her shrunken form. A shockwave knocked her against the wall and she raised her hands as one of the Skrull's moved his foot down towards her. America gasped as a blue light came from one of the priests surrounding her. Her brow furrowed when a yellow light hit her side. It was followed by a red light, which struck her back. America began gritting her teeth together as a purple light hit her chest and began to release sparks. Then came a green light, which made America scream. As she screamed she changed, growing older, her life passing her by, then younger, to the age her powers first appeared. She was being fast forwarded and rewound again and again, experiencing the agony of time.

"STOP IT!" Stephen screamed.

Veranke raised her hand, an orange light glowing in her palm as she aimed it at America. She was about to attack, when the ships suddenly shook. Lights on the ceiling flickered, systems began to shut down.

"What is that?" she demanded.

"Multiple systems are suddenly shutting down, fabricators, cell doors," one of the guards gasped.

A blast suddenly flew into the Super Skrull holding Steve, knocking both against the wall. Steve got off of the floor, looking to the cell doors. Carol Danvers had her fist raised; she was in a black and red costume with a scarf on it, just as dazed as the other prisoners. Luke Cage stumbled out of his cell, his hoodie half ripped from when the Skrulls had taken him. Daisy Johnson looked at Steve amazed, but cautious too as she raised her hands. The ship shook as someone else stepped out of their cell, breaking off the muzzle and cuffs that had been used to bind him.

"Blonsky," Steve looked at the Abomination in shock.

He looked exactly as he did when he attacked Harlem, earning a glare from Luke Cage. A young blonde haired woman walked out of her cell, she was wearing a yellow suit with black gloves and lines across her chest and arms. Then a low growl came from another cell door, from a man in a white vest with wild brown hair. Cassie suddenly grew, throwing the Skrull guards across the room.

"It's okay, it's okay, wait, Superman, have you put on more muscle?" she asked.

"Darlin, I don't know you," the man said, raising his fists.

Suddenly three pronged claws burst out of the man's knuckles, whilst he snarled like an animal. A sentiment Blonsky shared.

"You people took me from my prison cell just when I had recovered enough to escape, now I'll…"

"DAD!" Cassie screamed.

She slid back her helmet and ran to the two people who limped out of their cells. Scott Lang, the real Scott Lang was being supported by Hope Van Dyne, both abandoned caution and flung their arms around Cassie.

"Steve," the super soldier was drawn to another cell.

He cautiously approached the woman who also walked towards him. Sharon Carter took a few steps back, narrowing her eyes at Steve.

"How do we know it's you?" she asked.

Steve looked at her, and then widened his eyes as he saw Valkyrie and a dark haired woman standing with her.

"Valkyrie," Steve said.

"Have we met?" Valkyrie asked.

"New Asgard, we fought Thanos together when he attacked Avenger's compound," Steve said.

"New Asgard, my people still don't…Odin's beard, the ship, we were attacked by Thanos and then we fled in escape pods and…"

"They took you, the Skrulls took you then, which means that everyone on New Asgard…oh god," Steve whispered.

Earth 616

Yelena looked over her pistols, she then did the same for her shock sticks. Ghost checked over the mechanism of her new mask, a faceless white helmet that contrasted the black of her costume and hood.

"New look I see," Alexei said as he came into the room.

"Val says there's some kind of incident over in New Asgard, they're gathering armed forces," Ava said.

They were about to leave the room when 'Luke Cage' entered. He grinned as his skin turned green and the chains around his wrists glowed with fire.

"Oh Cyka!" Yelena seethed.

As explosions rocked the former Avengers Tower, New York faced its own attack. Danny Rand and Coleen Wing had to jump over cars to dodge flaming projectiles. The Super Skrull they fought had the Hulk's bulk and glowed with fire. But they weren't alone in the fight; a man in a white and black suit joined them, hitting the Skrull with Escrima sticks. The tiger amulet around the man's neck glowed as he and Iron Fist rushed the Skrull. In Hell's Kitchen, Jessica Jones looked down the street in horror, seeing a man she thought was dead. 'Kilgrave's' skin turned purple as he grinned, but then it turned green and his ears narrowed. The purple glow in the Skrull's eyes though remained as many in the block fell under his influence.

"Kill her," he commanded.

On a rooftop a few blocks away, Daredevil stopped his patrol, dressed in his red and black suit. He heard a heartbeat that seemed familiar at first.

"Elektra?" he whispered.

But then he heard the bones and skin change, 'Elektra' ran electrical currents through her Sai's and she suddenly jumped towards Daredevil.

Quantum Realm

"Odin had sent me away from Asgard, it is truly gone?" Lady Sif asked Valkyrie.

"I'm afraid so, we managed to evacuate before Thanos killed half of the evacuees," Valkyrie said.

"But the rest of them aren't here, which means this place was only holding the people the Skrulls considered a threat," Steve said.

"One of my enemies had been poisoned in police custody, I was staying by her side when two officers jumped me, I wasn't taking them seriously and they surprised me," Luke explained.

"You're not the only one bub, I'd just kicked some annoying masked creep out of my garage when those aliens showed up."

"So Power Man, Sif and the real Valkyrie, Agent 13, Quake…"

"You know me?" Daisy asked Cassie.

"There are forums, half of the people online say S.H.I.E.L.D. shut down and the other half know that they still carried on even after Hydra was exposed. Which makes you Crystal of the Inhuman royal family, Kate told me you guys don't exist but I knew what happened in Sydney was real," Cassie clapped her hands eagerly.

"Hey Cap, firstly good to see the real you and not some old guy, secondly, you called this guy Superman, he doesn't seem very super to me," Scott said, indicating the man with the claws.

"I don't know, he seems pretty super to me," Valkyrie said.

Sif nodded in agreement, whilst Hope looked away from the man and smiled at her surprised boyfriend.

"My names Logan, now where the hell are the people who kidnapped us?" the clawed mutant demanded.

"Excuse me!"

The heroes raised their heads, hearing the voice on the speaker just like everyone in the ritual chamber did. Inside the walls of the ship, another shrinking hero stood, pulling apart several wires.

"Passengers, this is your saviour/saboteur speaking, Dr Ryan Choi of S.T.A.R. labs, physicist, biologist, expert in nano technology and microverse history, proud new member of the Justice League and the super hero Atom, I've taken out several of your systems and…"

The red and blue clad hero stopped as the lights suddenly went out. Stopping the ritual, Veranke looked up as the lights came back on. It meant that the ship's backup generator had come online. Which meant that the original generator was free. The ship shook and even in the Quantum realm, the sound of thunder cracked through the ship.

Electricity surged out of Thor's body. Even the socket where his eye used to be glowed, as he took a step forward. The son of Odin and roared, punching a hole through the wall of the ship. He hovered off of the floor, punching through more walls until he reached the ritual chamber.

"YOU!" Thor yelled.

"Looks like he doesn't love you after all bitch," America sneered.

Veranke raised her hands as Thor flew towards her, rearing his fist back before he brought it forward with a crack of thunder.

Next Chapter 16: Zombies

Hope everyone enjoyed the chapter.

Yep-the Calverine is real :)

I always thought that the biggest sin of the Captain Marvel film was how it portrayed the way Nick Fury lost his eye, as a god damn joke. I mean I know Marvel has to keep things Pg-13 to a degree (also Marvel-Daredevil Born again-you're welcome :)

But instead of the Secret Invasion as a Fury project they could have given us a project with Fury tracking the Zodiac and his brother Jacob Fury, adapting certain points of the Secret Warrior's storyline (minus all the super powered characters). Still I acknowledge we don't always watch the movies for beat to beat adaptation.

Next time we return to Flash and Aeon (oh and Lex is there too) in Marvel Zombies.
