"Are the humans ready?" Ready? Ready for what?

"Yes, Lord Megatron. Soon you'll…" I couldn't hear anymore as some sort of gas filled the weird chamber I was in. What is that? Stop. It's making me hurt. It hurts! STOP!

Optics: 100%… powering up.

Other information filled my vision and I groaned.

"Good. You're awake." Someone said from my right. I turned my head as a big red toad placed a clawed hand across my forehead. "Megatron will be pleased." I felt him push me into a sitting position. "Lift your servos."

"My what?" I asked, softly. He sighed and gripped one of my hands and waved it in front of my face. I slowly lifted the other to study. Metal. These could not be my hands. I'm a human and humans are not made of metal. I heard the toad move away towards another robot. "Why am I metal?"

"You're one of us now," was the only reply I got. "Get used to it." That was the point the other three robots woke up. One after another. I ignored them as I watched the purple and blue bot in the reflection across from me raised a hand. Is that really me? My eyes were a deep gold color and my once human body is now a giant machine. I turned to the other robots in the room. The toadbot left, but the others were looking at each other.

"Where are we?" The orange and red male bot asked as he closely studied each of us. "The last things I remember is somebody grabbing me from the streets and really bad pain." I watched as the light blue female bot nodded.

"It happened to me too," she mumbled. "It hurt really bad." She was really young. If her voice was anything to go by. The final green and white bot turned his face away from as he rumbled an agreement.

"You better get used to it," We all twisted to get a better look at whoever entered the room. "Lord Megatron won't accept weakness." The blue and white bot with pointed teeth looked us over.

"Sky-Byte! How are my new soldiers?" This must be Lord Megatron. Fear filled every fiber of my being as he looked us over. "Yes. These may work. Give them weapons and show them how to fight like true Predacons."

Sky-byte bowed as Megatron reached out to touch my face and grinned as I flinched away, then realizing my mistake, I quickly straightened my back and looked him dead in the eyes, doing my best to intimidate him. "Perhaps this one could be put straight out to the battlefield. She's feisty enough." Battlefield? Soldiers? I looked back towards the red and orange mech. He didn't look happy at all.

"Soldiers? We're just civilians," He snarled. "And two of us are ladies." Megatron reacted faster than we thought possible. With a quick swing, he had the bot against the wall with a hand pressed to his throat. The younger girl screamed and pressed her face against the only other trustworthy man in the room.

"I am Lord Megatron. You will obey anything I tell you or else," He threatened. The one who challenged him switched his gaze between his attacker and us, before he allowed his mechanical body to go limp. "Good. From now on, you shall be known as Crunch."

"Yes, Lord Megatron."

"And you shall be known as TerrorWave," Megatron continued, motioning towards me, then allowing his gaze to travel over the other two. "You both shall earn earn your names when you prove your worth." He turned away from us and left.

"What are you waiting for?" Sky-Byte snapped. "Let's go. Megatron gave us our orders."

The others and I watched the Predacons as they talked about the energy that they wanted us to steal. "Now you need to go down there and cause havoc to this plant, so that way we can steal the energy. Got it?" Slapper ordered, talking slowly as if talking to a bunch of idiots. We've been with the Predacons and Decepticons for about two months and Megatron had finally decided to allow us out into the world.

"Yeah, yeah." Axewing grunted. His red and orange paint job glowing in the daylight. He and Shockline earned their names when they finally were able to steal their first batch of energy. We didn't exactly like what we did, but we didn't have any other choice in the matter. We each pulled out our own weapons and made our way down the hill towards the building that we were going to rob. Crunch and Axewing made quick work of the doors and moved out of the way for the older Predacons to come through. I watched as Crunch moved back towards us and a few hand signals was all we needed.

Shockline took a chain off the nearby walls and swung it around a few times before swinging it around the Predacons. Then, I reached an arm up and pulled on one of the balance beams as hard as I could. "Terror!", "Move it!", "It's all coming down!" were the only things that reached my audio receptors as I pushed my way through the falling debri.

"Way to go, Sis," Shockline muttered as she steadied my footing. "Where are we going now?" However, we didn't have enough time to put the rest of our plan into action.

"You're going to get out of here," A voice ordered. My attention drew towards it. Who are these people? They don't look like Predacons. There were seven mechs standing in a line. The biggest one was red and blue with a hard glint in his eye.

"What's the matter? Not mech enough to fight your own?" The red one with a strange symbol on his chest taunted. His mouth was twisted into a smirk as he saw Axewing curl his hands into fists.

"Crunch," I muttered, quietly. I stepped back a step towards my teammate. "We can't fight them. There's no way we're strong enough." Crunch tilted his head slightly, his gaze sweeping side to side. Any time now.

"They're younglings!" I felt my head snap around towards the blue bot. "They're no threat to any of of us."

"GO!" Crunch snapped. He shot his plasma rifle, which made the other bots dive for cover. I snagged one of Shockline's arms and ran. I didn't make sure that the others were behind us. My main focus was on getting her out of here.

"TerrorWave," She shouted as I felt her hand leave mine. No. I twisted around just in time to see the blue and white bot with the blue visor and facemask nudge the yellow one with a red bump on his forehead. I ignored them and searched the field for the one person I needed to protect. There. He has her.

"Ow! Hotshot, get her off of me." The blue one that figured out what we were shouted in pain as my denta pierced his hand. "Hold her until I can give her a sedative. This way she can't hurt herself." I felt something grab the back of my neck, I turned on whoever it was. A quick glance to my left saw the one that they called Optimus, laying Crunch down next to the offline forms of Shockline and Axewing.

The shock stumbled through my systems. Are they dead? I felt my servos shake. Terror filled every inch of my being. Not them. Not the only people I have. Why?

I jerked forward, trying to break his grip on me. Screaming. Who was screaming? Oh. That's me. "Settle down, kid. We ain't gonna hurt you," Someone rumbled. They pulled me closer to their chest as if to offer comfort. A sharp prick of something in my neck made me jerk and hiss.

"It's alright. Just relax." The black bot with the flames on his chest repeated. Hotshot. Flames. Tired. Wanna recharge. "Recharge."

"I don't think that they're that old. Their coding suggests that they are not ready to be left alone." They? Are they talking about us? They can't be. They killed them. I jerked myself forward and off the berth. I twisted my helm around in an effort to find an exit.

"Hey!" Someone shouted. Loud. Too loud. Danger. Escape. "Excuse me." I looked towards the blue bot as he looked under the table. I hissed and bared my denta at him as he reached under the berth. "I don't think that you want to sit under here too long."

My gaze shifted towards the sound of a door sliding open. Escape! The blue shifted his weight slightly and I took that as my cue to charge. I darted forward and slammed what little bit of weight I did have into his chasis. He started to fall back as I charged past Optimus Prime.

"TerrorWave!" Shockline? "TerrorWave!"

Shockline. She is here. I ran towards her voice. Desperate to find the only family I had left. I felt my feet pull me in random directions before I felt someone grab my wrist. I hissed and bared my denta as whoever it was held my wrists together in one hand.

"TerrorWave!" Another shout that broke through to my panic and fear riddled mind. "Terror wave, enough." My optics traveled from the black hands up the orange arms and into the familiar green optics of my brother. I felt washer fluid well up as I realized he wasn't dead. He was right there. As if he wasn't thinking he hugged me as tightly as he could. "It's ok. We're ALL here." There was another hand on my back making me tense up.

"Hey, 'Wave…" Axewing mumbled as I turned and hugged him as well. "Shockline. We've got her. Ya can quit gripin' now."

"Shut it, Axe." The only other female snarked as she attempted to hug Crunch, Axewing, and I at the same time. Axewing pushed us away with a grunt. "Oh, come on Axewing. You really gonna try and pull the tough guy act. She thought we were dead." Shockline rolled her eyes as I wiped my optics clear with the heels of my servos.

"Are you okay now?" Another voice asked from behind me. I shrieked and swung my fist around. Hotshot chuckled as I missed him by inches. "You're going to need to do better than that in order to be a threat to anyone." I snarled and brought my fist up to try another strike. This time, I didn't even get to swing before Crunch grabbed me.

"Let go, Crunch," I snarled, jerking every which way and that. He held me tighter.

"That's enough," Crunch ordered as he swung me up and over his shoulder. "Calm down." He set me down gently onto both of my pedes after I fell limp. A quick glance at the Spychanger allowed me to see that he was leaned against the wall. "Now, the Autobots are going to allow us to stay here. They're a whole lot better than those Predacons."

"We're going to stay with our botnappers?" AxeWing asked, skeptically. "Sure. Why not?" Shockline giggled and bounced a bit on her pedes.

"They didn't botnap us," Crunch sighed as he brought his hand up to his forehelm. "I'll explain it later. When we're alone."

"I think we have some apologies to make..."

"Nope."

"Nada."

"Ain't gonna happen."
