Prologue

Just who is Jentry Chau? That's what I ask myself every time I see her in school.

The supposed "demon girl" that burned nearly a small part of Riverforks eight years ago.

But I can tell just by observing her eyes she didn't mean to do it. They hold a sadness that not

even the most stoic of us can ignore. Her name was never mentioned in the whispers that

floated around the school halls, yet everyone knew the story of that fateful night.

I could tell she feared whatever power that she wield.

Oh! I haven't introduce myself, My name is Miko Uzumaki.

No I am not related to Naruto Uzumaki from the self titled anime.

Yeah...I get that question a lot...

And I'm pretty much Riverfork Highschool's bad boy and biggest lone wolf.

I have my own reasons for that.

Back to Jentry to describe her physical looks she was a slender Chinese-American sixteen year

old girl with fair skin, black eyes, and short dyed blonde hair with straight bangs.

All she was hot in my opinion.

I opened one eye to see the other students in the bus giving her wary looks making her

apprehensive.

I noticed she tried to talk to her childhood friend Michael Ole

He was a decent guy but even i could tell he was a little wary of Jentry.

It didn't help that his girlfriend Stella Gonzalez tried to pin the blame on Jentry for the fire that

happened at Mimi's Chicken Dinner after Michael was pinned in some debris when he tried to

help Jentry.

I rolled my eyes at the Idiots not letting her take a seat. She was just trying to enjoy this field trip

like all of us

So i decided to take matters into my own hands. "Chau."

Her eyes snapped to me, a hint of hope flashing through them.

I nudged the seat next to me. "Need a place to sit?"

Her eyes searched mine for a moment before she took the offer, sliding into the seat with a quiet

"Thanks."

I just nodded in acknowledgement before I noticed they were all staring at me like I was crazy

for letting the 'demon girl'

sit beside me.

"The fuck are you all looking at?" I narrowed my green eyes threateningly.

The murmurs and whispers died down instantly, and everyone looked away, pretending to be

engrossed in their phones or the scenery outside.

I shook my head in disgust. "Idiots..."

"Thanks." That was all Jentry managed to say as she sat down, her eyes returning to the

window.

I nodded. "No problem."

"Hey, sorry but i didn't exactly catch your name," she said, her voice soft yet strong enough to

be heard over the bus's engine.

"Miko Uzumaki," I replied with a smirk, "And before you ask, no, I don't know how to summon a

fox spirit or do the rasengan."

Jentry's eyes lit up with a ghost of a smile, the first one I had seen on her face. "Good to know,"

she murmured, grabbing something from her backpack. "Do you want some Chinese Food?"

I Flinched at the repulsive smell

before I closed the lid of the container in her hands. "Uh, Chau,

you do know this is durian right?"

Luckily I managed to close it before anyone smelled the notorious odor. Durian, the fruit that

smells like a mix of rotten eggs and dirty gym socks.

I mean love how it tastes but the smell? That's another story.

Jentry looked at the container in panic. "Oh shoot! sorry." she mumbled, blushing deeply.

Before I could say anything i felt something soft beneath my palms and looked down to see my

hands were on top of hers still holding the container.

I blushed slightly at the contact while Jentry Blushed harder, she pulled her hands away and put

the container back into her backpack. "I should have checked," she said sheepishly, "My Gugu

made me bring it and the Chinese food.

"Gugu?" I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the term of endearment she used.

"Oh, she's my great aunt. Flora Chau," Jentry explained, her voice barely above a whisper.

"She's like my guardian, ever since my parents..." She trailed off, her mouth tightening as she

stared at her lap.

I nodded in understanding. "It's cool. I get it." I offered her a small smile, trying to ease the

tension that hung heavy in the air around us.

"And yeah, I seen Flora Chau around town before." I nodded solemnly. "She's pretty cool."

Jentry's eyes snapped up to meet mine, a spark of something akin to gratitude in her gaze. "You

know her?"

I shrugged. "Let's just say i bumped into her a couple of times, that lady is... something else."

Jentry chuckled, a sound so sweet and light it was like a melody in the bus's stifling atmosphere.

"You can say that again," she said, the corners of her eyes crinkling in amusement. "But she

means well."

I smiled back before somebody approached us.

It was some short guy he was wearing a cap and red hoodie, he had deathly grey skin and

pointy ears he looked to be of asian descent and was slightly pudgy. "Hey Jentry!"

Jentry blanched in shock and embarrassment. "Ed!" she exclaimed, "What are you doing here?"

I turned to her with a raised eyebrow. "You know this guy?"

"Oh! This is Ed. He's my...uhhh" she tried to explain but was cut off by the overly excited guy.

"Her cousin," Ed blurted out, grinning thumbing at himself.

I nodded. "Ah, I see," I said, though the look on Jentry's face told a different story.

"Y-yeah my cousin, who should be staying with Gugu right now..." She murmured, looking at Ed

with a hint of annoyance.

Ed just shrugged as if he didn't see the problem.

"Okay, why don't I give you and your some space." I said getting my current seat.

Jentry blinked in surprise. "What? But-"

"Don't worry, I've got it," Ed said, sliding into the seat opposite me. He leaned forward,

whispering dramatically, "I'm here to keep an eye on you, Jentry."

I shrugged getting up about to look for another seat, however I noticed she looked a little

disappointed "Jentry." I called her by her name.

Her eyes met mine, hopeful. "Yeah?"

I gave her a small smile. "We'll talk more later okay?" I winked at her before walking forward.

Jentry blushed and nodded, her eyes following me as I moved through the bus.

I walked past Kit the other new kid in school, while he looked like a nice guy for some reason he

made me feel very wary of him though I do act civil when interact with him.

I also took note he seemed to be interested in Jentry too, which only served to make me more

curious about him.

'I'm gonna have to keep an I on that one.'

I thought to myself as took a seat near the front of the

bus.

'As you should Miko.'

I perked up at the familiar voice in my head.

I quietly grunted in annoyance as a leaned back on my seat. 'and where the hell have you

been?'

I thought to myself.

'Hey your the one who told me to try and gather Info on that boy Kit and Jentry Chau,

remember?'

He replied nonchalantly, as if we were having a casual conversation and not

telepathically in the middle of a crowded bus.

I sweatdrop at that. 'Right... forgot about that part, sorry.'

i thought sheepishly.

I felt him nod. It's fine, anyways I did looked up Kit and...'

the voice trailed off, a hint of

something serious in his tone.

'And...?'

I mentally prodded the voice, feeling a sense of unease.

'I found nothing.'

he said taking me for a loop.

'What do you mean nothing?'

I mentally asked him confused.

'I mean exactly that, Miko. There's nothing on him, no records, no family, no history. It's like he

just appeared in Riverforks one day and everyone accepted him without question.'

He voice

spoke in my mind, the gravity of the situation was not lost on me.

'and Jentry?'

I asked the voice mentally.

'I found records of her studying abroad at Seoul after middle school and her birth certificate and

family.'

he replied.

I subtly nodded. 'and her powers?'

I thought to myself, keeping my expression neutral.

'there is no info about her in the living realm but I did find something about it in the spirit realm.'

he said.

I raised a mental eyebrow. 'okay and what about her powers?'

'apparently they are something called the Yellow Emperor's flames, unfortunately all I found is

that it let's the user have Pyrokinesis.'

he said with a hint of regret, 'I apologize Miko but that is

all I got for now.'

'Its okay, I understand. Thanks for the info.'

I replied mentally.

'Miko, the things that are happening Around Jentry Chau, If things escalate we might have to get

involved.'

he said with a hint of urgency in his voice.

'I know.'

I thought back to the voice, feeling the weight of his words.

'Just remember I'm always here, your Parents are here too. If things get too much for you, you

can always come to us.'

the voice said reassuringly before signing off.

'Thanks Musashi.'

I murmured to myself, the name of the spirit that had been talking to me. He

was right, the more I knew, the more I felt like I was getting into something way over my head.

Then again this wouldn't be the first time I got involved in the supernatural.

I quietly chuckled as a thought came to me. 'Who would of thought that Miyamoto Musashi a

historical Japanese swordsman would be great at Intel gathering.'

I thought to myself before

looking out the window, watching the scenery pass by as the bus lurched down the road. The

dusty landscape of Riverforks, Texas seemed to blur together, a stark contrast to the vibrant life

that filled the city streets. Jentry's secret was definitely one worth keeping an eye on. The Yellow

Emperor's flames... Pyrokinesis. It was a powerful ability, and one that could easily explain the

fire that had ravaged the town eight years ago.

'Well looks like I'll be coming out of retirement soon. Real soon.'

I thought as one of my eyes

glowed red.

End of Prologue

And that is chapter one hope you like it

Yeah unlike the Rise of Ultraman this will be a first P.O.V

But it will soon transition to a third P.O.V

Now since there is barely any Info on Jentry Chau and since it's just the first season expect the updates to be very, very, Very, slow so please be patient on this one.

As for the reason why I gave Miko the Last name uzumaki because I wanted his last name to be a reoccurring joke.

Anyway please read and review.
