First off…welcome to 2025! And belated happy Valentine's day!
My apologies for the late update. In what was supposed to be a monthly update turned into a three-month hiatus as I got entangled in office work whilst having some situations with my personal life, hence I got delayed in working on my fanfics given that I am juggling in working of 20 fanfics of different series.
But now things have stabilized and here is the new chapter.
With that out of the way…many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter, and here, the WHEELS OF FATE are rolling as a servant from Fate/Stay Night takes on a swordsman from Fairy Tail…and soon that servant would get to meet a Kamen Rider along the way…

Ch. 2: Sōjutsu: Durandal vs. Lancer
A tense standoff took place as Elfman is glaring at Lancer for killing an innocent woman in cold blood but the servant told him not to take it PERSONALLY as he too would join her in a little while, which Elfman angrily declared that he would take him down and bring him to the Northern Base to beat the answers out of him, which Lancer was slightly intrigued at hearing his new target say something like Northern Base, unaware of Elfman's status as a swordsman from another world.
"Huh? Northern Base…?"
"You got that right!"
"Heh…what is that…?"
"Huh?"
"Are you getting delusional as you're about to die…?"
"You dare mock a swordsman? It is you who should tremble!"
"Eh…? Are you trying to psyche me…? Nice try."
"…"
Lancer scoffed at his target's declaration and decided to end things quickly, and there Lancer attempted to stab his target with his spear, but Elfman evaded and retaliated, in which their weapons clashed and the two momentarily reached a stalemate, but neither are backing out, which Lancer was quite surprised as to how adept Elfman is in a combat situation like this.
"Not bad. Not bad for a human…"
"…"
"I must say you're good."
"Hmph."
"Maybe I might enjoy this night…"
"What…?"
"Though this would be short-lived!"
"!"
As Lancer fought back and managed to graze his target's cheek, spilling some blood, Elfman realized that Lancer is someone not to be taken lightly, and there he brought out a palm-sized book which has the emblem of the book's title: Ocean History.
Lancer raised an eyebrow as he wondered what Elfman is up to, but then Elfman made his move as he inserted trinket-sized book into the slot of his trident staff and underwent a transformation.
Trident-Staff: "KAIJI GYAKKAI! TOKI WA, TOKI WA, TOKI WA TOKI WA TOKI WA TOKI WA! WARENARI! OCEAN HISTORY~! OCEAN BASSHĀN!"
Elfman then underwent a transformation that showed a huge book-like projection, and Elfman is seen standing there as water and marine animal-like projections appeared before enveloping him, and Elfman is now encased in an armor, giving him the appearance of a knight with a marine animal motif. Elfman Strauss transformed into Kamen Rider Durandal, and he is now ready to face off Lancer.
Lancer was quite surprised at what he just witnessed and there he is starting to assume something as he believe that what Elfman did was magical and wrongly assume that Elfman is a mage, thus Lancer believe that Elfman is a MASTER, and there he demanded to the transformed Elfman, now as Kamen Rider Durandal, to reveal and summon his servant so that he would fight them at equal footing, causing Durandal to stare in bafflement at hearing what Lancer just said.
"Alright…show me your trump card!"
"What?"
"Summon your servant!"
"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?"
"Aren't you a mage? You possess magic…hence you're capable of summoning a servant!"
"I have no idea what you're blabbering about!"
"What?"
"You must be a crazy one…"
Lancer at first thought that Durandal is bluffing until he noticed that the latter did not show signs of lying, and there he believe that Durandal is merely a mage who possess magic yet doesn't have the means to summon a servant, but because he was seen, Lancer was determined to eliminate Durandal so that there won't be any unnecessary witnesses and began to get serious and uses his lance to slay the book-wielding Kamen Rider.
Durandal fought back and was initially taken aback at how fast Lancer is and he stepped up his moves and managed to deflect his opponent's assault and to Lancer's surprise they somewhat got into a stalemate as neither one could gain an upper hand yet Lancer is somewhat impressed that he found an opponent who doesn't waste time and felt that this impromptu battle is worth the bother.
"Not bad. Not bad for a human…"
"…"
"I must say you're good. Your armor is quite impressive…"
"Hmph."
"Though you may be a mage yet you couldn't summon a servant…I guess this is fine. And maybe I might enjoy this night…"
"What…?"
"Though this would be short-lived as I have a rule…no witnesses!"
"!"
At this point, Durandal's younger sister, Lisanna Strauss, passed by as she followed her elder brother as she intend to pass a message to him, but there she was surprised to see her elder brother fighting someone, and seeing him assuming his Kamen Rider form, Lisanna sensed that something is up and this made her assume a cautious position for she got an impression that something very sinister is taking place.
There Lisanna saw Lancer wielding his weapon and is beginning to regain the upper hand and has Durandal go on the defensive and there she noticed how fast and agile Lancer was, and that he appeared human and this made her wonder if Lancer is a Megiddo or not, and there she weigh her options and wait for a while before making her next move.
"Is he a Megiddo…? Or something else…?"
Lancer noticed Lisanna watching, and as a rule, he would have to eliminate any eyewitnesses and there he moved at a fast speed and appeared behind her, which Lisanna managed to sense where Lancer appear before she backed away, which Lancer raised an eyebrow as he sensed that she also has a FIGHTING AURA.
"Huh?"
"…"
"You have an aura of a warrior…"
"And what if I do…?"
"Hmm…not bad…"
"Just what are you?"
"Why ask when you're about to die?"
"!"
Durandal saw this tells his younger sister to be careful as he is a dangerous individual and said that he has a feeling that he could be the one behind the serial killings in this town, and there Lisanna got the gist as she brought out her weapon and Ride Book, which made Lancer raise an eyebrow seeing that she has similar devices like Durandal.
Though he is set to attack and impale her with his lance, Lancer suddenly became cautious and instead made a defensive stance as he wait and see what his newest target would do, sensing that something unexpected is about to take place.
Indeed, as Lancer looks on, he raised and eyebrow and slowly backed away upon seeing that his newest prey did something he didn't expect, where Lisanna brought out her weapon, a rather large but slim-looking sword which has a book slot near the hilt, and then brought out her palm-sized book which the emblem has the picture of several insects and has the title of Konchuu Daihyakka (Insect Encyclopedia), and she inserted the book into the book slot of her sword, where a large projection that resembled a book materialize and she underwent a transformation.
Sword: "NOROSHI KAISEN! FLYING! SMOG! STING! STEAM! KONCHUU CHU DAIHYAKKA~! TAYUTAU KISSAKI!"
Smoke emitted around her while her transformation appeared to be similar to a larva undergoing metamorphosis, and as the smoke cleared, Lisanna transformed into Kamen Rider Sabera.
Lancer stared in disbelief at what he is seeing and there he realized that Sabera is like Durandal and assume that she too is a mage and he demanded to know if she too has summoned a Servant, which she became baffled at what Lancer just said, and tells him she has no clue as to what he is babbling about, which Lancer became more perplexed than ever before.
"Alright…you must possess magic…! Now then…show me your trump card!"
"What?"
"Summon your servant! Do it now!"
"What was that? What's do you mean by that?"
"Huh? Aren't you a mage? You possess magic…hence you're capable of summoning a servant!"
"I have no idea what you're saying! Are you a crazy one or something?"
"What?"
"You must be confused…saying that I'm some magician or something…"
Durandal then went to his sister's side and told her what happened and there she nodded as Sabera and Durandal brandished their weapons as they are poised to take action as they faced an unknown enemy that they believe is responsible for the serial killings within Fuyuki City.
Lancer smiled as he felt that this is a good thing as he had longed for something challenging and seeing that Durandal held his ground and that Sabera wield a similar weapon, he felt that this is worth the time as he wondered if he could pull something off like killing two mages at the same time, unaware that Durandal and Sabera are not mages, but swordsmen and Kamen Riders at the same time, and there Lancer told the two armored siblings to brace themselves as he won't be holding back, which the Strauss siblings answered back in a ferocious tone.
"Better brace yourselves…you won't get an easy demise…"
"Right back at you."
"You'd be lucky if you manage to survive our wraths…"
"Oh…? Do you have any idea that you're facing a strong servant…?"
"Like we care."
"So you're saying that you're superhuman…? So what? You'll soon regret targeting a pair of swordsmen…let alone two Kamen Riders."
"Huh?"
"Lets go, Lisanna!"
"Yes, nii-sama!"

Meanwhile, the scene shifts somewhere else within Fuyuki City where Haru Glory and Lucy Heartfilia had just left a building where a convention for novelists and writers took place, and there the two are having a blast as the convention they attended somewhat gave them an inspiration as Haru felt that he might come up with writing a new novel, and there Lucy said that he might be able to come up with something good.
"Ot seems that you're raring to write a new novel, Haru."
"Yeah. The convention we attended gave me inspiration."
"Though I wonder why Fuyuki City of all places…"
"Its fine. We get to meet a lot of novelists and writers."
"Yeah, you have a point, Haru."
"Well, we should be heading home now "
"You're right. And tomorrow we should tell everyone at the Northern Base."
"Good idea."
As Haru and Lucy walked towards an area where there are no other passerby at sight, Haru wondered if this place is really bustling or not, which Lucy also felt the same, and wondered if it's past curfew time, which he said that it's somewhat unlikely as a while ago the convention was filled with lots of aspiring novelists and writers.
"Hmm…that's odd…"
"The place looks deserted…"
"Yeah…"
"Maybe it's curfew hours, Haru…"
"I doubt it, Lucy…"
"Well…we better…"
"!"
"?!"
Suddenly, skeletal beings suddenly emerged from the ground which Lucy shrieked upon seeing this and Haru stared wide-eyed as he did not expect something like this to happen and wondered if this is the work of a Megiddo, but she said that the Megiddo have already been defeated and thus the world should be at peace at this time.
As the skeletal beings began arming themselves with bladed weapons, Haru realized that he has to make a move and tells Lucy to back away as he would deal with those things which she nodded in agreement and tells him to be careful and said that she would try to contact either Lyon or Freed for help.
"Lucy! Get back;"
"O-okay…!"
"I'll handle those things!"
"Y-yeah…"
"Damn…of all the possible…"
"Should I call for Lyon or Freed…?"
"Yeah, good idea!"
"O-okay…"
Haru sighed as he lamented that what was supposed to be a good moment where he attended a novelists convention got ruined by someone sending an apparent group of Megiddo, and puts on the Swordriver in front of his waist, then he brought out what appeared to be a palm-sized book that is colored red, where the title is shown, which says Brave Dragon.
There the skeletal beings showed no reaction as Haru inserted the book onto the center slot of the belt and then pulls the sword out, which triggered a transformation sequence Lucy looks on.
Brave Dragon book: "REKKA BATTOU! BRAVE DRAGON~! REKKA ISSATSU! YUKI NO RYUU TO KAENKEN REKKA GA MAJIWARU TOKI, SHINKU NO TSURUGI GA AKU WO TSURANUKU!"
The scene showed that a red, FLYING bio-mechanical DRAGON appeared and then flew towards Haru, and soon he is encased in an armor.
Haru is shown to resemble a knight, wherein his armor is colored red, black and white, while his armor has the motif of a dragon. He is now transformed into Kamen Rider Saber, and now he is ready to fight, where Saber tells Lucy to try contacting either Lyon or Freed, which she nodded in acknowledgement.
"Can you contact either Lyon or Freed?"
"I'll give it a try!"
"Okay…but go find some place to hide…those things look dangerous…they could be a new breed of Megiddo or something else of undetermined origin…"
"Point taken."
"Then you know what to do…"
"Yeah…got it."
"Okay…get going, Lucy!"
"Got it, Haru!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the Elfman and Lancer battle was quite even given their similar weapons yet the servant managed to gain the upper hand before Elfman transformed into a Kamen Rider…and there Lisanna came and provided assistance as she took transformed into a Kamen Rider as well…
Haru Glory appeared at the end of this chapter as he too got dragged into this supernatural shenanigan and in the end also transformed into a Kamen Rider…
