- Fighting Skills: Nate is a tremendously experienced combatant, being highly skilled with swords, spears, ranged weaponry, and hand-to-hand combat due to divine instinct and training. He has fought against numerous monsters of the Greek World, even against several demonic entities, and either won or survived each encounter. Nate's skills makes him an effective monster hunter of such caliber that he's regularly on the hunt for various beasts, and his skills either rival or greatly surpass those of demigods like Percy Jackson and Thalia Grace.
- Tracking: Nate is very skilled in tracking supernatural entities.
- Sense the Unseen: Nate can detect supernatural beings, including gods, monsters, and spirits even when they are invisible.
- Superhuman Strength: Nate has physical strength far greater than that of humans. He easily sliced straight through a demon with a sword slash, and frequently fights against vampires, werewolves, spirits, demonic entities, and supernatural monsters. Due to the Heavenly Pact, his strength has been increased, with his strikes being powerful enough to dent an imperial gold shield, although his strength is no match for beings such as Olympian gods, Archangels, or his father.
- Superhuman Durability: Nate is far more durable compared to that of normal humans, being able to survive wounds such as being stabbed in the same spot twice, both times waking up moments later. His body is sturdy enough for him to withstand serious damage, having survived a near point-blank explosion caused by one of Hephaestus' automatons without any notable injuries, being slammed into solid surfaces, a lightning strike (though he didn't receive the full impact), and a fall from a tower.
- Superhuman Speed: Nate has speed far greater than that of humans, using it to his advantage in combat. Nate's battle form makes use of his great speed to close the gap in an instant, then quick attacks to overwhelm his opponents, and is capable of reacting to attacks at blinding speeds. He believes the only way to defeat those stronger than him is to defeat them with speed before they could take advantage. His speed allowed him to avoid all the countless darts from a Manticore, then sliced and walked past it at around the same time.
- Superhuman Stamina: Nate has far more stamina and endurance than a normal person, able to continue to fight for extended periods of time without slowing down. He could continue fighting after suffering wounds or exhaustion from a previous fight as seen when he started to fight a Chimera after fighting against a Lamia.

As the son of Archangel Gabriel, Nate is an extremely powerful individual and one of the most powerful beings in the mortal world. He has fought and defeated many monsters, probably more than any other supernatural being, including even other demigods. Nate has full control over his powers and further hones them through experience and training. Both through his father's authority and his own inherent power, Nate's abilities include:
- Soul Perception: Nate can see the true nature of a person by looking into their soul, able to tell the emotions that are clouding an individual and their mental states.
- Divine Flight: By manifesting his wings, Nate can fly through the air at incredible speeds. He can perform aerial maneuvers and alter his trajectory mid-flight, letting him maneuver seamlessly through various terrain.
- Holy Photokinesis: Being the son of the Archangel Gabriel, Nate has the ability to create and wield divine light to attack or defend against enemies. He can generate blinding flashes of holy light, create shields to deflect attacks, fire projectiles of light against enemies to either harm or push them back, and form simple weapons from divine energy. He also shows more creative ways of using his light-based abilities, such as creating a light in his hand to work as a flashlight in a dark room.
