Cynthia stood at the forefront with her piercing gray eyes locked onto the sky as Brainiac's massive ship descended. The ominous hum of the foreign vessel sent chills through the air, and even though she had faced countless dangers before, this was unlike anything the Pokémon world had encountered.

Flint crossed his arms, still looking skeptical. "Come on, an alien invasion? This feels straight out of some sci-fi movie." He let out a dry chuckle.

Bertha, the oldest of the group, gave him a sharp look. "Flint, you of all people should know better than to dismiss the unknown. If there's anything the Pokémon world has taught us, it's that the unexpected always happens."

Lucian adjusted his glasses, nodding in agreement. "If President Goodshow himself took the time to summon us, then this isn't just some false alarm. We should take this very seriously."

Flint sighed, running a hand through his fiery hair. "Yeah, yeah, I get it… just saying, we don't even know what we're up against yet."

Aaron clenched his fists. "And that's exactly why we need to be ready for anything." His usually cheerful demeanor was replaced with a rare seriousness. "If this is as bad as it looks, then all of Sinnoh could be in danger."

Cynthia remained silent as she focused on the ship above. She could feel the disturbance in the air, a pressure that weighed heavily on her chest. Whatever—or whoever—was inside that ship was no ordinary threat. This wasn't just about Sinnoh. This was about protecting their world.

Then, the sky boomed.

A massive shockwave rippled through the atmosphere as the ship finally breached the clouds, its metal hull reflecting the light of the sun. The sheer size of the vessel was staggering, casting an overwhelming shadow over the land.

Cynthia's grip tightened on the Poké Ball in her hand.

"It's here," she murmured.

Suddenly, a series of attacks unexpectedly struck the massive ship.

Brainiac narrowed his glowing red eyes as the ship trembled from the force of the attacks. His amusement quickly faded into irritation as his monitors displayed the unexpected assailants—three colossal Pokémon, each radiating an immense aura of power.

"So, more of these so-called 'Legendary' creatures stand in my way," Brainiac muttered, analyzing the data pouring in. The system identified them as Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, beings of time, space, and the distortion world.

From the ground, Cynthia and her Elite Four watched in shock as the divine trio launched their assault on the descending vessel.

Flint's jaw nearly dropped. "No way… The Creation Trio?! Here?"

Lucian adjusted his glasses. "They must have sensed the disturbance."

Bertha's expression remained serious. "If even they are taking action, then this threat is beyond anything we've ever faced before."

Aaron swallowed hard, gripping his Poké Ball. "Does this mean Arceus itself could be aware of what's happening?"

Cynthia said nothing. She simply watched, her mind racing. Legendary Pokémon rarely acted unless the balance of the world itself was threatened. For Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina to appear together like this…

Meanwhile, within the ship, Brainiac steepled his fingers, observing the battle with renewed interest. "Fascinating… these creatures possess power that defies conventional physics. But they are still nothing more than obstacles."

He pressed a command, and the ship's outer cannons shifted, locking onto the three Legendary Pokémon.

"Let's see how they fare against superior technology."

In an instant, energy turrets deployed from the ship's hull, unleashing a barrage of high-energy blasts. The sky erupted in flashes of light as Dialga roared, countering with a Roar of Time, distorting the flow of reality itself. Palkia followed up with Spacial Rend, slicing through the air as if tearing space apart. Giratina, lurking between dimensions, phased in and out before unleashing a Shadow Force that struck the ship directly.

Explosions rocked the vessel as Brainiac's systems flared with warning signals. Despite his arrogance, the extraterrestrial AI couldn't deny it—these creatures were formidable.

Still, Brainiac smirked. "This planet may prove to be more entertaining than I initially calculated…"

The battle for the Pokémon world had officially begun.

Meanwhile...

Kara's body tensed. Her eyes snapped to the sky with her instincts screaming that her father—Brainiac—had arrived. Without hesitation, she bent her knees, ready to take off, but just as she was about to launch into the air, a firm grip wrapped around her wrist.

She jolted with her face heating up as she whipped her head around. "H-Hey! Hands off, touchy-touchy human!" she barked, trying to yank her arm free.

Ash didn't budge. His grip was firm but not forceful. "Not until you tell me what's going on."

Kara scowled. "I don't have time for this!"

"Yeah? Well, I don't have time for you acting all weird and secretive!" Ash shot back. "You've been on edge since we got to Sinnoh. What aren't you telling me?"

Kara clenched her jaw, averting her gaze. She didn't want to have this conversation, but the look in Ash's eyes told her he wasn't going to let up.

He never did.

With an exasperated sigh, she ripped her hand away and crossed her arms. "…Fine. You want the truth? Here it is." She turned to fully face him with a sharp glare. "I came to this world with a mission—to rebuild the Kryptonian Empire."

Ash blinked. "…What?"

"My father, Brainiac, wants to restore Krypton's former glory, and to do that, we conquer planets in his name." Her voice was eerily steady, but something flickered in her eyes. Guilt? Regret? "That was my purpose when I arrived here. To prepare this world for his rule."

Ash took a step back, the weight of her words sinking in. "You… you were supposed to conquer Earth?"

Kara scoffed. "Was. But that was before—" she abruptly cut herself off, clicking her tongue in frustration. "Before I got… sidetracked."

Ash searched her face. "Sidetracked… by what?"

Kara's fingers curled into fists. "By you, you idiot." She let out a bitter laugh. "I don't even know how it happened. One minute, I was supposed to be preparing this world for domination, and the next, I'm running around eating ice cream and playing arcade games with you."

Ash frowned. "And that's a bad thing?"

"It's weakness!" Kara snapped. "I'm a warrior, Ash. I've done horrible things before I met you. I've crushed civilizations, led invasions—"

"But you haven't done that here," Ash cut in firmly. "You've had plenty of chances, but you didn't."

Kara gritted her teeth. "It doesn't change what I've done. I can't just erase my past."

"No," Ash admitted. "But you can choose what you do now."

Silence stretched between them. Kara's breath was unsteady, her heart pounding in a way she didn't understand.

Ash stepped closer. "I don't care who your father is, Kara. I don't care what you were supposed to do." He met her gaze with unwavering resolve. "I know the person standing in front of me isn't a conqueror."

Kara swallowed hard, looking away. "You're an idiot," she muttered.

Ash smirked. "Yeah, well… you're still here, aren't you?"

Before Kara could respond, the ground trembled violently beneath them.

The battle from afar was intensifying.

Meanwhile, inside Brainiac's ship, alarms blared as the three legendary Pokémon continued to assault the vessel. Dialga's roar echoed as it sent shockwaves through the ship's hull, its control over time warping the very atmosphere. Palkia's spacial power collided with the ship's shields, causing a violent shake, while Giratina's sinister energy cracked the metal surface like an invisible hammer.

Brainiac was sneering in annoyance with his robotic red eyes narrowing as sparks flew around the control room. His sharp fingers hovered over the console with a calculated decision weighing on him.

"This... is not going as planned," Brainiac muttered under his breath, watching the screens flicker with damage reports. "I didn't prepare for a confrontation of this scale." He glanced at the monitors where the legendaries continued their relentless assault, their attacks becoming more intense with each passing second. "No more mistakes. It's time to implement contingency protocols."

With a swift motion, Brainiac pressed the red button in front of him, activating the containment system. The air around the ship seemed to distort as glowing cubes materialized in mid-air. These cubes, designed to trap even the most powerful of creatures, began to hum with ominous energy as they moved toward the three legendaries.

Dialga roared, trying to use its time manipulation to escape, but the prison cubes distorted time itself, halting its movements in midair. Palkia fought against the space compression, but it was no use; the cubes constricted its very ability to warp. Giratina's ghostly tendrils writhed in frustration, but the more it fought, the tighter the prison became.

Brainiac's cold voice echoed through the ship's system. "Resistance is futile. You will remain in this prison until I decide your fate."

The cubes continued to shrink around the legendary Pokémon, locking them in place as their movements became more restricted. The ship, though still battered, began to steady as Brainac's trap took hold.

He exhaled. "Now, I can focus on my true objective."

Meanwhile, back on the ground, Cynthia and the Elite Four watched in stunned silence as the three legendary Pokémon—Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina—struggled against the strange, alien technology that held them captive. The prison cubes constricted firmly with their energy blocking any attempt by the legendaries to break free.

"How... how could this happen?" Cynthia muttered with her gaze focused on the writhing creatures trapped in their energy prison. The very essence of time, space, and antimatter, being bound by an unknown force. It was beyond anything they had ever encountered.

"Cynthia, we've got to do something!" Flint said with urgency. He was still trying to process the surreal scene unfolding before them. "This is like something out of a sci-fi movie!"

Before anyone could respond, a sudden burst of energy emitted from the ship, followed by the slow and deliberate descent of a humanoid figure. The grey-colored android floated down from the ship's opening, its body sleek and mechanical. Glowing red highlights traced the lines of its form, flickering with an eerie energy. The being wore a long red cloak that billowed in the air as it hovered. On top of its boomerang-shaped head, a symbol in the form of three glowing red dots arranged in a triangular formation glowed ominously.

Flint blinked. "What the heck is that thing?"

"Silence, human," the android's cold, metallic voice echoed. "I am Brainiac, the one who will bring about the fall of your pathetic world." With a mockingly slow gesture, Brainiac spread his arms. "You see, I've already captured the creatures you hold dear, the ones that protect this planet. Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina are mere playthings, bound by my superior technology. You will meet the same fate as them—insignificant, powerless, just like the rest of your species."

"We won't let you take over our world," Cynthia said firmly.

Aaron added. "We'll fight to the end."

Bertha nodded. "This planet will not fall so easily."

Flint growled in frustration. "And you think you can just waltz in here and claim this world as yours? We'll show you what happens when you mess with Sinnoh."

Lucian agreed. "Our world is not as weak as you think."

Brainiac tilted his head in amusement. "Pathetic," he scoffed. "You'll try, but you'll fail just like the others. You're nothing more than insects beneath my feet." He raised a hand, signaling for his ship to continue its descent, its massive engines humming with raw power. "Prepare yourselves, for you face the future ruler of this planet."

Cynthia and the Elite Four stood together. They didn't fully understand what was happening, but they knew one thing—this alien invader wasn't going to win without a fight.

"Let's show him what we humans can do," Cynthia said.

However, as the tension in the air thickened, a sudden shout pierced through the chaos.

"Father!" Kara's voice echoed across the battlefield, causing Brainiac and the Elite Four to turn in surprise.

The group of fighters, who had been preparing for the inevitable clash, all turned to witness the source of the shout. The sky above seemed to crackle with energy as a figure streaked towards them at incredible speed.

Brainiac's eyes narrowed slightly as Kara came to a stop, hovering just inches above the ground.

"Ah, daughter…" Brainiac's voice held a cold amusement with the metal of his body shifting slightly as he looked at her. "So, you've come to join the party, have you?"

An update, finally? Yay, me :p
