"Night I stand"
Bayonetta, Cereza, Luka, and Viola approached a giant door it opened and light shined "It does look like someone's been expecting us they even rolled out the red carpet." Luka said.
"Seems like it."
Bayonetta heard Balder's voice again "Rise my child, realize your true potential, it's time to open the "Eyes of the World"". Balder said.
"It's Daddy! My Daddy's here!" Cereza said.
"Wait Little One!" Bayonetta called out.
"Her dad's here?" Luka asked.
"This way!" Cereza said.
The two adults and Faerie followed her into the light. They were in Balder's office the three saw Balder was holding Cereza "Look Daddy now Mummy's here too!" Cereza said.
"I've been waiting a long time for this family reunion." Balder said.
Bayonetta remembered the past holding her mother's hand "Save him." Bayonetta's mother begged.
"Did you have a good time?" Balder asked.
"Yes. Mummy's very strong and brave too!" Cereza said.
"I see." Balder said.
"I was sacred of the ghosts, but Mummy told me not to cry so I don't anymore." Cereza said.
Balder put Cereza down "I think you've grown up a little, Cereza." Balder said.
"I have Daddy." Cereza said.
"Tonight you sleep alone like a big girl." Balder said.
"But I don't want to go to sleep yet I have so much to tell you!" Cereza said.
"You can tell me tomorrow. Right now it's bed time." Balder said.
"Yes, Daddy." Cereza said.
"Sweet dreams." Balder said.
"Good night Daddy." Cereza said.
A portal opened up it was the portal that brought Cereza here to this time. She was steps away from entering it but turned around "Mummy I'm not going to be afraid anymore no matter what." Cereza said.
"That's my girl." Bayonetta said.
"Good night, Mummy!" Cereza said.
Cereza walked through the portal. Now it was just Bayonetta, Luka, and Balder "How were you able to bring me here from the past?" Bayonetta asked.
"That past?" Luka asked.
"I opened a door of space-time distorted by the influence of Jubileus's coming. I wanted you to see this foolish world through innocent, untainted eyes." Balder explained.
Luka spoke "So this man is...?"
"He is the last survivor of the Lumen Sages. This was all started by him. He's Little One's no he's my father." Bayonetta said.
Luka gasped "500 years since we last meat and if your memory were still intact this would have been a much more emotional reunion. Long have I waited to purge this chaotic world once Jubileus is resurrected Paradiso, Inferno, and this world will become one and in this new world you and I will become gods!" Balder said.
Luka clapped his hands "Leave to the leader of the Ithavoll Group. You're the master of blowing your own horn. But it's not enough to make the headlines." Luka said.
"You're Luka, right? I've been watching your progress. Like father, like son he was also too smart for his own good and didn't know when to quit." Balder said.
"How do you know my father?" Luka asked.
"He did some good investigative work on my plan it was god. Everything was fine until he found Cereza but he was a little too ambitious." Balder said.
Luka was picked up into the air "What's happening?" he asked.
He couldn't see the angel "I can smell rosemary it was the same smell when my father died!" Luka said.
Bayonetta shot the angels freeing Luka. "At last I know the truth you're the one who killed my father!" Luka finally realized the truth.
"My condolences on your loss." Balder said, with no sympathy.
"Bayonetta I'm sorry for blaming you all this time." Luka apologized.
"It's not like you've mentioned it alot." Bayonetta said.
"If that little crybaby can learn to be brave then maybe I can grow up and be a better man it's time to settle my account and avenge my father once and for all!" Luka said.
He fired his grapple hook at Balder but Balder was protected but a force field. "You are no use but I am not without dignity I will allow you to join him." Balder said.
He used powers to send Luka into the air and threw him out a window sent him falling to his death but Viola flies after him. Bayonetta looked to see everyone she's known is gone "Cereza, the journey ends here." Balder said.
"I don't understand. When did you bring the child version of me to this time and place? Why bother with such a convoluted plans to bring me here?" Bayonetta asked.
"Your battle, your struggles seeing the love in the eyes of your younger self everything you experienced as been a stepping stone to your enlightenment all of this was necessary to awaken the eyes of the world." Balder said.
"You're a nightmare who tried to throw the world into chaos. You killed my mother how dare to speak of the world love?" Bayonetta said with fury.
"It wasn't me who killed Rosa. The cruel laws of this world tore us apart angels impatient for the resurrection killed her there was nothing I could do. But you're a fighter any angels who fought you chose to become nothing more but as chances for your power to return. Jeanne was the final ingredient. She was the key to unlocking the full extend of your magic and regaining the core of yourself. In other worlds she gave you back your memory. Jeanne did very well." Balder said.
Bayonetta pulled out her gun and pointed at Balder "You've killed Luke, Jeanne, Luka's father, and Mummy you're insane." Bayonetta said.
"I beg to differ it's not me whose insane. It's the world itself." Balder said.
"Are you really going to shoot me?" Balder asked.
"Don't mess with a witch." Bayonetta said.
"I don't think you can pull the trigger I'm your father." Balder said.
"My lovely sweet child." Balder said.
The creator was ready both Bayonetta and Balder's watches light up Bayonetta was in pain Balder wasn't. Balder carried Balder to the heavens. On the building where Jeanne and Dark supposedly die a purple light appeared on it. The two did not die. Jeanne was in her Umbran uniform and Dark was empowered by Jeanne's magic creating one of his own. Dark uniform had a blacken armor covering his body two pointy shoulder pads and a cape on the back.
Viola saved Luka and was holding him "The rebirth of the Creator? You must be kidding..." Luka said.
The skies light up Balder and Bayonetta were now in front of the Creator "Jubileus walk with us!" Balder said.
The two went into the eyes of the Creator "We must become one with the Creator, Jubileus." the angels said.
The angels sacrificed their souls to join Jubileus "The time has come. We will become the Creator of a New World." Balder said.
Jubileus now began the process of creating the New World. Luka could see the Creator "Don't tell me that's Jubileus?!" Luka asked.
"Bayonetta!" Luka called out.
Rodin felt the Creator's return. "It's beautiful, this is the beginning of a new history that we are helping to create." Balder said.
Rosa's voice was heard "Cereza." she said.
"Mummy." Cereza cried in sadness of her mother's end.
"Please Cereza you must save him he's imprisoned by a blinding madness it's destroying him. Please save his soul." Rosa said her last words to her daughter.
"Yes Mummy, I will do now what I couldn't do then." Bayonetta said.
Jeanne was on her motorcycle heading to Bayonetta and Dark used his new magic to turn his cape into wings and fly with her. "Jeanne, you're still alive?" Balder asked.
"The intersection of light and darkness will bring calamity to earth. That law I used to think it meant her but now I see it meant you." Jeanne said.
"The endgame is here." Dark said.
"You're too late the creation of a new world is here they're no place in it for you." Balder said.
"Oh well maybe next time." Jeanne said.
Dark used his magic to create three Umbran symbols "Your turn Jeanne." Phantom said.
"I'm here for my Umbran sister fuck your new world!" Jeanne said.
Jeanne fired a bullet which was empowered by the symbols and it broke the stain glasses which kept Bayonetta in the Creator's eye. "Jeanne? Dark?" Bayonetta asked.
"Open your eyes wake up!" Jeanne said.
"Come on Bayonetta!" Dark said.
"You're stronger than you were 500 years ago. You can overcome this! You have to fight!" Jeanne said.
Bayonetta smiled she leaped out of the Left Eye. She landed next to her two friends "Welcome back I'll be keeping an eye on you." Jeanne said to Bayonetta and winked at her.
"Oh you two aren't dead yet?" Bayonetta asked.
"Awww you miss us." Dark said.
Everyone was teleported to space "What have you done? Without both eyes the universe will lose its balance and face another Armageddon!" Balder said.
Balder used his powers to summon a blade and slash the piece of debris the three heroes were on. Bayonetta summoned Gomorrah but it wasn't strong enough as Jubileus simply slashed the demon. "My little pet's not strong enough." Bayonetta said.
"It would seem so." Jeanne said.
"This is bad." Dark said.
"Cereza, my own dear child not only have you interrupted the resurrection but you dare turn a sword against me? I will destroy you!" Balder said.
Balder used celestial power to heal Jubileus "Celestial power at work." Jeanne said.
"Yeah we're gonna need a bigger demon." Dark said.
"Cereza he must be stopped now!" Jeanne said.
"But in order to do that I'll need you help." Bayonetta said.
"What?" Dark asked.
"Something special." Bayonetta said.
Jeanne knew what she meant "Sounds good to me sister." Jeanne said.
The two summoned the ultimate demon in Inferno "Sheba Queen of Inferno a fitting match for any god." Jeanne said.
"This is definitely the endgame!" Dark said.
The queen of Inferno and the goddess fought each other both were equally matched "This isn't over yet Cereza there's still time. We can still change everything open your eyes to reality." Balder said.
"It seems you never learn do you daddy? Mother was trying to save your soul." Bayonetta said.
"Nonsense. Only Jubileus and the creation of a new world can bring salvation." Balder said.
"You're such an egoist. What's the fun in creating a world where you get your own way? I rather like this chaos." Bayonetta said.
Phantom did his first summon he brought in a giant wooden horse "Your resistance is in vain!" Balder said.
"No, actually father yours is!" Bayonetta said.
Sheba grabbed a giant whip and whipped Jubileus. She tied the whip around her leg and brought her down onto the horse and tied up. "All tied up." Bayonetta said.
"And no where to go." Jeanne said.
She brought out one of her pistols and threw it above her and into a Umbran symbol which transformed into a demon version of it for Sheba. "You only get one shot boss." Phantom said.
Bayonetta grabbed Rosa's lipstick and load it in the Scarborough Fair "Now you're about to understand exactly how mummy felt." Bayonetta said.
"My daughter this cruel, pathetic world ripped Rosa and I apart the world must return to its proper state! Chaos must be eliminated!" Balder said.
"A pointless wish." Bayonetta said.
"Bye, Daddy!" she said.
She pulled the trigger the lipstick fired from the gun and Balder saw it coming for him but he saw Rosa "I will always love you my Balder." Rosa said.
"Rosa." Balder said.
He waited for the end "Farewell to the last sage." Jeanne said.
"Fire!" Dark commanded.
With all the firepower from Sheba both Balder and Jubilues was destroyed and the world was saved. The sun raised over the world Luka and Viola were standing on the destroyed tower and looked into the sky "Bayonetta." he said.
A year later things were different for Enzo and Rodin "I can't believe it's been a year since Bayonetta disappeared I've got all this funeral work just filed up and she ain't around to help with any of it." Enzo said.
"Maybe I should start looking for a new job." Enzo said.
"So Rodin so do you think maybe she could be gone for good?" Enzo asked.
"Who's to know? I just help out people who are looking for weapons. That's all." Rodin said.
"If you say so." Enzo said.
Viola returned home and became princess of her home Avalon Forest "I hope to see you again my friends." Viola said, while on her throne.
Luka visited his father's grave "I'm sorry that it took me so long father. I did manage to get it punished but unfortunately it isn't selling very well." Luka said.
He placed flowers down onto the grave and the book called "The truth about Umbra Withes and the Lumen Sages".
"Bayonetta, where did you disappear too?" Luka wondered.
"But it's okay I know we'll meet again won't we?" Luka smiled.
Elsewhere in the world and at night the last of the angel forces tracked down the witches Jeanne and Dark were back in their normal clothes "Here we go." Dark said.
"They're tenacious. I should go before the corpses must be pilling up at the church." Bayonetta said.
"It's still hard to believe you're a nun." Jeanne said.
"I find it ironic you're a nun yet you fight angels." Dark said.
"Honestly it's not as bad as you think you should come and try it sometimes Jeanne." Bayonetta said.
"No thanks, I'm perfectly happy teaching high school." Jeanne said.
"Oh before we go care to give those bad boys a lesson to remember us by?" Bayonetta asked.
"You know my vote." Dark said.
Jeanne simply smiled. Dark kneeled one leg down and had his two guns out above him Bayonetta and Jeanne had their guns out ready for a final fight. "Alright let's dance baby!" Bayonetta said.
Sometime later Dark found a new home in New York he made drawing of young Cereza picking up flowers and visiting her mother. Rosa liked the flowers so much she gave Cereza the watch. Another drawing had the depiction of Jeanne meeting Cereza for the first time then growing up together as best friends. The next drawing was Luka with a backpack and ready to find Bayonetta.
The final drawing was Enzo not having any luck, Rodin with a box of weapons, Dark, Jeanne, and Bayonetta on gravestones together.
"I realized the journey didn't end there, it was simply the beginning." Dark said.
