This is largely inspired by the tinfoil stories.

sidenote, there aren't any proper rules about sidestories like this right? The other ones don't seem to have much consistent other than the story itself

I glanced over to a heavy curtain blocking one of the desks.

"now, before we continue, put these on." She offered a set of cardboard glasses, one red lens and one blue.

'Toko had promised me some preem new counterIntelligence technique, and, as silly as the hats may be, they've made a killing.

I reached out and grabbed the glasses, carefully setting them on my face.

"'Toko, you're a genius, but what are these for? I can still see fine, so…"

"It's safety equipment, the real thing is over here." She stepped back and grabbed the curtain.

"Wait, shouldn't you get so-" she pulled back the veil, revealing… a screen of colourful letters?

I reached up to pull the ridiculous gl-

"NO! keep those on!" She interrupted.

The door slid open again, revealing Jun's gonk face.

"'Toko, please keep quiet, there is an important meeting and Fujimahh saassma" the borg hit the ground, eyes bloodshot and nose bleeding.

My eyes darted around the room, landing the one place they shouldn't.

POV: Motoko

Hirome Was out before she hit the ground.

"… this was an awful idea." Motoko grumbled

It took half an hour to drag jun's gonk ass to my Quadra.

And the TC gonks are nowhere to be seen, of course.

I shot the horrible, deep fried, Frankenstein of memes in the skin of a font a death glare, headache build by the second as I willed it to have never been, no such luck.
