Chapter 7

"You all be good," The leader began. "…we just want Koraidon, then we'll be out of your way and you can continue doing whatever it is that you Pokémon do." Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Piplup, Oshawott, Pansage, Eevee, Snowy and Quaxly all had angry and determined looks on their faces.

"Oh no!" A worried Rookadee cried. "They are going to get Koraidon!"

"No they won't!" Pikachu claimed "We won't let them!"

"Yeah!" Evee agreed. It gave Rookadee a wink. "We won't let you down. That's a promise!"

"Like my trainer always says,…" Piplup put in. 'There's no need to worry!'"

"Why does she say that?" Psyduck wanted to know.

"I think she says that to assure herself." Grookey told it. "And to make her feel butter. My trainer always says 'The future is in the palm of my hand!'"

"What the heck does that mean? How can the future be in the palm of a human's hand or Pokémon? It's weird!" Grookey shrugged.

"I don't know. And yeah, it is weird. But like Piplup's trainer, it's something to help him feel better and to assure himself. And even though I don't know what it means, if it makes him happy, then I am happy too. That's all that matters in the end and how it always should be."

"I guess. Humans can be so strange and confusing."

"You got that right."

"I'll help you out, twerp Pokémon!" James spoke up. He lifted his hand in the air.

"Uh, what is he doing?" Psyduck asked.

"I have no idea." Bulbasaur stated. "Acting like an idiot as always is my guess."

"I believe that you unfortunately are right." Oshawott agreed.

"Come on…" James began, then realized something. Shoot! I forgot! Without Meowth's charm, the Rocket Prize Master will be utterly useless! He grinned nervously as he put his arm down. "Never mind then." He sighed. "I'm almost afraid to do this, but here goes." He took out a Poké Ball and threw it. "Mopecko, come on help and help with the twerps' Pokémon!"

Morpecko appeared out of the Poké Ball and its stomach growled. James grew fearful and gulped. Oh no! This is what I was afraid of!

Morpecko turned to its trainer. "Hey, Master!" It said. "Feed me, I'm hungry! If you don't, you know what's coming!"

"Just do what I say and battle, Mopecko!" James demanded his Pokémon. The hangry Morpecko stomped its foot. He grinned nervously. "Please?"

"No! I want food now! Feed me!"

"I promise to feed you delicious Pokémon food later, Morpecko. What do you say?" But Morpecko wasn't having it. It began having a temper tantrum.

"I want food now, I want food now, I WANT FOOD NOW!" James sighed to himself. He hung his head in shame. I knew I shouldn't have got Morpecko out here. This made the leader burst out laughing.

"Looks like your Pokémon doesn't want to listen to you." He observed. "It wants food instead. What an embarrassing sight! Man, I do not want to be you right now!" The other members laughed as well.

"I feel bad for the blue haired bad guy." Snowy observed. "He may be the bad guy, but no one deserves this."

"I feel bad for him too." Pikachu agreed. "And I rarely do, but even heros feel bad for the villians sometimes." Grookey began to beat its stick on the ground for Mopecko.

"Hey, Morpecko!" The grass monkey said to it. "Calm down and listen to this sick beat instead!" Morpecko stopped and looked at Grookey. "That's it! Isn't this so much better than whining about food?" Morpecko got mad.

"No!" It yelled. "It doesn't make me feel better. Why would it make me feel better? I just want food! Is that too much to ask?" Grookey frowned. He looked at Pikachu.

"I'm sorry. I thought that it would calm Morpecko. It would calm me down, that's for sure."

"Don't worry about it." Pikachu assured it. "You tried your best; that's all that matters."

"I liked it." Psyduck admitted. Grookey looked at the duck with a smile.

"Really?" Psyduck looked at it.

"Yeah! It was a nice, little beat." Grookey beamed with joy.

"Thank you so much! That makes me feel so much better."

"Good! I'm glad that it does."

"Looks like Morpecko is too much of a coward to battle us, guys." Morgrem observed. The other bad Pokémon laughed.

"Yeah!" Drednaw agreed. "Nothing more than a scardy Pokémon all right!"

"I almost feel bad for it." Thievul stated. This offended Morpecko.

"Don't be." Coalossal told the fox-like Pokémon. "Cowards like it don't deserve your sympathy."

"Look at him!" Sandaconda added. "Once a coward, always a coward! So, let this pathetic coward eat. It's the only thing its good for." Morpecko had enough of this. It faced them.

"I am not a coward!" It yelled. "And I will prove it!"

"Ooohhhh!" James said, excited, "Does this mean you are ready and willing to battle, Morpecko?" Morpecko looked at James and gave a determined nod. James smiled. "Alright! Let's show them what you got, Morpecko!" Morpecko looked at the bad guys and their Pokémon again, uttering its cry. The leader member gave a wicked grin.

"Well, it seems like Morpecko isn't such a coward anymore and wants to fight. I respect it for that. However, it will still lose, along with these other Pokémon. We are going to seize that Koraidon, whatever it takes." He got a Poké Ball out of his pocket. "Guys, let's help our Pokémon and bring out more Pokémon for the fight." One member looked at him, confused.

"But, Boss." He began. "What about the legendaries?"

"We'll go after them later." The leader answered. "Right now, send out a Pokémon and fight with your fellow teammates. This won't take long." The member wasn't so sure, but chose to just go with it and believe his boss.

"Right, Boss." With that, he, his teammates, and their leader sent out their Pokémon.

"So, who is going to face me?" Sandaconda wanted to know.

"I will!" Piplup volunteered.

"Awwwww!" A disappointed Oshawott whined.. "But I was."

"I was thinking of facing Sandaconda as well." Quaxly stated.

"My, my!" Sandaconda observed. "I am popular. I kind of like it. But seriously, who is going to face me?" Oshawott was confused.

"He's right. We can't face Sandaconda together, can we?" He asked. "That's three against one. That's not fair. We are the good guys. We have to go by the good guy rules."

"I agree." Quaxly agreed. Piplup thought about this. Oshawott looked at him.

"Piplup?" He questioned. "What is your Piplup brain coming up with?" Piplup looked at Oshawott.

"Oshawott," He told it. "You battle Sandaconda and I'll battle…" He looked at Coalossal. "I'll battle Coalossal." Oshawott nodded.

"Okay. Sounds good to me!"

"What about me?" Quaxly wanted to know. Piplup looked at it.

"Oh, uh, I forgot. You, uh, you go fight…."

"It's okay. I'll go find some Pokémon to fight." Quaxly then waddled off.

"Poor mystery Pokémon." A sad Oshawott observed. You know, I'm kind of surprised that Psyduck didn't volunteer."

"I am too, but that's not important. We need to stay focused. Good luck!" Piplup ran off.

"Oh, right. And thanks!"

"So, looks like I'll face you, huh?" Sandaconda spoke. Oshawott looked at him, determined.

"Yup, looks like it."

"Very well. I would have won either way." Oshawott was confused again.

"Really? But we're all water Pokémon. We're strong against Ground types like you."

"You think that has me terrified? No way! However, it is you who should be terrified!" Oshawott was determined again.

"Well, I'm not!"

"You soon will be."

"Sandaconda!" His trainer spoke up, coming beside the sand cobra. "Are you ready to fight?" Sandaconda answered by saying its name. "Great! We'll let Oshawott make a move first."

Oshawott ran towards it with Tackle.

"Sandaconda, Minimize!" Its trainer shouted. Sandaconda shrunk its body down with Minimize. However, Tackle made contact. Oshawott tackled again. "Minimize again, Sandaconda!" Sandaconda Minimized again, and once again, Oshawott tackled it to the ground.

Oshawott kept tackling it to the ground. Sandaconda kept using Minimize.

Sandaconda must be getting tired! Oshawott thought to himself. Which means this is the perfect opportunity! Oshawott then did Water Gun.

However, his Water Gun missed. This shocked Oshawott. What?! He did Water Gun again and again. It missed the snake every time. He tried Aqua Jet. It missed it as well. So did Razor Shell. Oshawott was now frustrated. The trainer laughed and laughed.

"Ugh!" Oshawott shouted. "Why can't any of my moves hit? And why is Sandaconda so small?!"

"Foolish Oshawott!" Sandaconda's trainer shouted at him. "As long as Minimize keeps happening, the harder your attacks will hit."

"It's true." Sandaconda told the otter like Pokémon. "I'm shrinking so much that you can't land a hit." But Oshawott wasn't ready to give up.

"One of my attacks will hit eventually." He tried another Aqua Jet.

"Minimize!" Sandaconda's trainer shouted. However, Sandaconda could minimize no more. Aqua Jet still missed though. The trainer was now frustrated. Drat! He cursed in his thoughts. I used up all of it's Minimizing moves. No big deal, we can still win.

Oshawott smiled to himself. Hey, Sandaconda can no longer shrink! That's great! Maybe I can finally land an attack soon!

Oshawott did Aqua Jet after Aqua Jet, hitting Sandaconda each and every time. Sandaconda screamed in pain each time.

"Stand your ground, Sandaconda!" Its trainer shouted at it. "Don't let that pesky Oshawott push you around! Whack it with your tail!" Sandaconda lifted its tail and tried to whack Oshawott, but the water Pokémon was just too fast and hit the snake. Sondaconda soared back into the air, collapsed to the ground and fainted. Oshawott couldn't believe it. Did I just win?

"Sandaconda, no!" Its trainer shouted. Oshawott smiled. He bounced up and down in excitement.

"I WON, I WON, I WON!" He cried out in excitement. He turned to Piplup who was still fighting Coalossal. "Piplup! Guess what? I won against Sandaconda!"

"I'm a little busy at the moment, Oshawott." The penguin Pokémon responded. Oshawott noticed this.

"Oh, sorry." He apologized. "I'll tell you later."

Piplup ran in front of Coalossal. He looked at it, all determined.

"Okay!" He said to the coal Pokémon. Coalossal's trainer was behind it."I'm here to battle you, Coalossal. You better be ready." Coalossal looked at Piplup and gave him a wicked grin.

"I was born ready, pipsqueak! Let's see what you got." Piplup charged towards Coalossal with Drill Peck.

"Coalossal, dodge and use Rapid Spin!" Coalossal's trainer ordered it. Coalossal dodged Drill Peck and used Rapid Spin. It hit Piplup and Piplup fell to the ground. "Now, Colossal, before it gets up, use Stone Edge!" Coalossal summoned Stone Edge and stones flew everywhere, hitting Piplup before Piplup could get up. Once again, Piplup soared and fell to the ground. Colossal's trainer grinned evilly.

"I think we have this in the bag, Coalossal." He said. Coalossal laughed.

"Bet you thought that you could beat me easily because I was a rock and fire, didn't you?" Coalossal asked Piplup. "Bet you thought that since you were a water type, you had the advantage. But things don't always go that way. Now, prepare to lose, squirt!"

"Coalossal, use Ancient Power!" Coalossal's trainer commanded. Coalossal did Ancient Power. Just as it was about to make contact with Piplup, the water Pokémon jumped out of the way and used Whirlpool.

"Coalossal, get out of the way now!" Coalossal tried to get out of the way, but of course, couldn't. Whirlpool was too fast and it got sucked in and did massive damage.

"Coalossal! Come on! You're alright. Shake it off and use Tar Shot!" Coalossal shook off the water droplets and did Tar Shot. Piplup dodged it.

"Again!" Coalossal did it again. Piplup dodged again. "Again!"

As Piplup was dodging, Oshawott cried out to him, proudly announcing its victory against Sandaconda. Piplup was annoyed by this. Can't Oshawott see that this isn't the time? He chided the otter Pokémon over this. Oshawott seemed to understand and apologized. Piplup resumed his focus on his battle against Coalossal.

Coalossal did Tar Shot again and again and Piplup just kept dodging. Piplup then unleashed an Ice Beam. Coalossal dodged it. As Coalossal dodged, Piplup took this opportunity to let out his Bubble Beam attack. "Dodge this too!" Coalossal was so busy dodging Ice Beam that it didn't see the upcoming attack and it was hit. "Coalossal, no!" It did massage damage. Coalossal tried to stay strong, but, ultimately, Bubble Beam was just too strong and Coalossal was at a huge disadvantage. There was a tiny explosion, and as the smoke cleared, Coalossal's trainer saw that Coalossal had fainted. He couldn't believe it.

"Nooooo!" He groaned in frustration. "Ugh! I thought we had you at the beginning!" Piplup smiled and stood proudly.

Bulbasaur was up against Drednaw.

"Drednaw!" Bulbasaur called it. "It's you and me. I'm ready for you!" Drednaw gave the plant frog an evil grin.

"I'm ready for you too. I'm going to enjoy defeating you."

"We'll see about that."

"Whatever. I'm still going to defeat you."

"And we'll see about that." Drednaw smiled wickedly.

"I guess we will." Drudnaw's trainer stood by it, all determined and ready for a Pokémon battle. Grookey then came in.

"I want to battle!" The grass monkey volunteered. "I can do it!"

"Sorry." Bulbasaur said to it. "I was going to face Drudnaw. Why don't you go and face another Pokémon?" Grookey was disappointed.

"Aw, fine!" Grookey sulked off.

"You should have let that pipsqueak monkey face me." Drudnaw told Bulbasaur. "I would have easily defeated it." Bulbasaur looked at Drudnaw.

"Yeah, maybe I should have let Grookey fight you." Bulbasaur said. "But it's too late now. I made my decision, so that's that."

"Doesn't matter to me." Drudnaw stated. "I was going to defeat that monkey to a pulp. I can do the same to you and I am going to enjoy it…" He smiled wickedly. "…every single moment of it."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes, because I have evolved. You haven't. Ergo, I'm going to defeat you."

"That doesn't mean anything. A Pokémon doesn't need to evolve to become stronger. It's a misconception. I chose not to evolve a long time ago, and that's okay."

"Big mistake. Everyone knows that once Pokémon evolve, they are better in every way."

"Oh come on, I bet you have won tons of battles as a Chewtle."

"True, I have. But ever since I evolved, my life has been nothing but better, and I will never go back to my pre-evolution life." Bulbasaur smiled.

"Okay. Suit yourself. Looks like I'll have to show you that I can win this battle as a pre-evolution."

"And I'll show you that not evolving was and is always a mistake."

"Looks like we're battling this little Bulbasaur." Dradnaw's trainer observed, looking at Ash's Bulbasaur. "This should be fun. I guess Grookey turned Torchic on us. Drudnaw, use Rock Tomb!" Drudnaw's rocks fell all over. Bulbasaur ran away from the rocks, dodging each and every one. Bulbasaur did Sleep Powder.

"Don't let the Sleep Powder make contact with you, Drudnaw. Jump out of the way and Body Slam it into a pancake!" Drudnaw jumped out of the way. It was about to land on Bulbasaur, but Bulbasaur ran out of the way on time and used Leech Seed. Leech Seed made contact and began draining Drudnaw's energy. It screamed in pain. Its trainer grinned.

"You might think that Drudnaw will faint soon because its losing energy every time, but that is where you are wrong, puny, little Bulbasaur. You will go down long before my Drudnaw." Drudnaw grinned too.

"He's right, you know." Drudnaw told Bulbasaur. "A little pain every once in a while isn't going to take me down fast. I can still win this thing."

"I can too." Bulbasaur told Drudnaw.

"Drudnaw, Liquidation!" It's trainer commanded. Drudnaw did Liquidation. Bulbasaur dug a hole in the ground before it got drenched. Drudnaw looked all around, trying to find Bulbasaur. "Don't give up, Drudnaw! It's underground somewhere." Bulbasaur jumped into the air from the ground, and got ready to use Solar Beam. "Drudnaw, behind you!"

Drudnaw tried to run away, but got its energy drained. It screamed in pain yet again. When it came to, it tried to protect itself from the blast with Protect, but it was too late. The blast hit. After its energy drained once again, draining its last remaining energy, thus fainting it. Bulbasaur cheered as Drudnaw's trainer groaned in frustration and returned it to its Poké Ball.

"Okay, Morpecko." James told it as he was ready to face Thievul with his Morpecko. "We might not have battled really together before, but we have to start sometime, and that time is now against this Thievul. I believe in you. Make me proud." Thievul's trainer was confused.

"Wait, are you saying this will be your first battle with Morpecko, like, ever?" He wanted to know. James nodded.

"I don't know. I saw it use moves, but it has been so long that I forgot what moves it used in the past. I know it sounds pretty bad…," He began. "…but I feel confident that Morpecko can win. It has to." The trainer then burst out laughing.

"Worst mistake ever! Thievul is going to wipe off the floor with Morpecko then."

James sighed to himself. He lied. He had major doubts that this would go well at all. He just wanted to assure himself that things would go well, even though they might not go that way. He has lost plenty of times before with Jessie against the twerp and his many friends. Why would this be any different?

But he also knew that anything could happen, even another rare win. He also knew that his Morpecko could do it if it wanted to, so there was a chance. He just needed to believe in himself and believe in Morpecko. He just hoped that Morpecko wasn't hungry and would cooperate with him.

The trainer stopped laughing and looked serious. He looked at his Thievul and told it to use Quick Attack. Thievel did and sped towards Morpecko.

"Okay, Morpecko…," James began. "I don't know how many moves you can do, but I'm going to try my very best. So bare with me, please. Use…" But it was too late. Thievel attacked Morpecko to the ground. James was impressed."Wow! That Quick Attack was quick." Morpecko got up and screamed at James. "Sorry. I talked too much I guess."

"You think?" Thievul's trainer questioned with a sneer. "Thievel, now use another Quick Attack!" Thievul did Quick Attack. Morpecko fell to the ground after it got hit. It screamed at James again as soon as it got back to its feet.

"Oh, right, move time." James said. He began to think. "Uh, can you use Thunderbolt?" Morpecko shocked Thievel with its Thunderbolt. James sighed to himself. "Thank you, Pikachu." He looked at his Morpecko. "Okay, Morpecko, use Iron Tail!" Morpecko just looked at him as James facepalmed himself. "Oh, silly me. You can't use that move. Then Nuzzle!" Morpecko still looked at him. "No, huh? Alright let's try Shock Wave? Magnet Rise? Zap Cannon? Surf, wait, that's a water move. Fly, no, that's a flying move."

"I feel bad for your trainer." Thievul said to Morpecko. "He doesn't know you at all."

"I know." Morpecko agreed. "And now I'm angry, I'm upset, I'm hangary!" It looked at James and shouted at him.

"I'm trying my best, Morpecko!" James told it. "I'm sorry that things aren't going our way." But that wasn't good enough for Morpecko. It stomped the ground.

"Morpecko!" Morpecko shouted.

"Please, Morpecko!" James begged. "Have some respect and don't change forms." But he panicked as he saw Morpecko had changed its form. He sighed to himself. "And you changed forms. Great!" Morpecko stomped its feet over and over again. "Please, don't have a temper tantrum. Not now." James sighed again as it was still stomping its feet on the ground. "And once again, you're not even listening. Oh, why do I even try?" However, James saw what Morpecko was doing.

"Huh?" He asked himself. "Is that…?" Sure enough, the little Pokémon was using Stomping Tantrum. Thievul tried to keep its balance, but Stomping Tantrum proved too strong. The fox-like Dark type Pokémon fell to the ground. James cheered. "WHOO-HOO! Way to go, Morpecko! I knew you could do it!" Morpecko glared at James who panicked. "You'll get treats after this fight, I promise."

"Get up, Thievul!" Its trainer commanded. "Don't let a Pikachu-copycat rodent defeat you and get the best of you!" Thievel got to its feet. "Good, now, Night Slash!" Thievul ran towards Morpecko.

"Morpecko, quick, I want you to…" But Morpecko had other plans. It ran towards Thievel. James panicked again. "Morpecko, wait, what are you doing?!"

Morpecko used Quick Attack. Both attacks made contact and the two Pokémon tumbled to the ground.

"Morpecko, please!" James begged. "Listen to me. Won't you?" Morpecko ignored James and belted out Bullet Seed. Seeds fired rapidly from Morpecko's mouth and hit Thievel. Thievul tried to keep its footing.

"Come on, Thievul!" Its trainer cried at it. "Keep your footing!" After the last of the seeds made contact, Thievul screamed. But Morpecko wasn't done yet. It did another Quick Attack. Thivel fell to the ground. It got up, looking mad. Morpecko glared at it, ready for its next attack.

"Seriously?" It asked. "How has that not fainted you?"

"Foolish, puny, Morpecko." Thievul said with a grin. "It's going to take a lot more than that to defeat me, a lot more!"

However, that was a lie. Seconds later, Thievul collapsed and fainted. His trainer screamed. James was dumbfounded.

Did we just…did we just…win? James asked himself in his head. He beamed and cheered like an excited child.

"YES! WHOO-HOO! WAY TO GO, MORPECKO!" Morpecko turned to James and screamed at him. James panicked, knowing what this was about.

"I don't have food right now. I'll feed you later when I can. I promise." But Morpecko didn't like this answer. It leapt towards James. James quickly took out his Poké Ball. "Morpecko, please return and don't kill me!" He saw that Morpecko had returned to its Poké Ball and sighed with relief. That was a close one!

He then was happy again, still not believing that he won. He hasn't won since he was in Alola with Jessie. He can't wait to tell her when he was with her and Meowth again. They're not going to believe him.

"Morgrem!" Pikachu shouted as he ran up to Morgrem. Morgrem stopped and looked at him as sparks sparked out of his rosy cheeks. "You and your friends, humans and Pokémon, won't get away with this! Come on and let's fight, you and me!" Morgrem gave the electric rodent a wicked grin.

"Okay, let's." It agreed. "However, we will get away with this and I will defeat you in this battle. I am really going to enjoy this." This time, Pikachu smiled.

"Don't be so sure of that and I'm excited too." Morgrem's trainer stood behind it.

"Alright, Morgrem." He said. "Let's show this electric rodent no mercy!" Pickachu rushed to it with Volt Tackle.

"Start things off with Fake Out!" Morgrem's trainer commanded it. As soon as Pikachu was close to it with Volt Tackle, Morgrem unleashed its Fake Out. Pikachu soared backwards and landed on the ground. He got right back up;

"Morgem, Dark Pulse!" It's trainer commanded. Morgrem prepared itself for Dark Pulse. But before it could land its attack, Pikachu attacked it with Iron Tail. Once again, Morgrem soared to the ground. Pikachu then did Thundershock. It shocked Morgrem.

"No fair!" Its trainer complained. "Let Morgrem land the attack, won't you?"

"Sorry." Pikachu answered with a sly grin even though he knew full well that the trainer couldn't understand. "This isn't a game where we take turns. I came to win and I intend to." Morgrem also did a sly smile.

"My trainer and I also intend to win." It said. "By any means necessary."

"Then show me your best shot."

"Oh, I will." Its trainer then ordered it to use Dark Pulse again. Pikachu dodged it and did Thundershock. Morgrem once again got shocked. Pikachu then did Iron Tail just as Morgem got done being shocked. Morgrem dodged it when ordered and then did Dark Pulse as ordered. It hit Pickachu. He got up.

"False Surrender!" Morgrem's trainer ordered. Pikachu was about to dodge when Morgrem attacked it with False Surrender. Morgrem laughed.

"Foolish Pikachu!" It said. "You can't dodge False Surrender! It always lands no matter what. Quick before it gets up, use Swagger!"

"But I can dodge this!" An injured, but still determined Pikachu told Morgan. He tried to get up, but Morgrem landed Swagger on Pikachu, making the electric rodent confused. Morgrem laughed again.

"Afraid not!" Morgrem told Pikachu. "Now that you are confused, what are you going to do?"

"I may be confused, but I can still fight." Pikachu was going to use Volt Tackle, but because he was confused, charged towards Grookey, who was in its own battle with one of the member's Scyther. The grass monkey fell to the ground as Pikachu tackled it. It got up, puzzled.

"Pikachu?" It questioned. "What was that for? I'm on your side." Pikachu then did Iron Tail on Grookey too. Once again, Grookey fell to the ground. Morgrem and its trainer laughed. Grookey got up annoyed. "Pikachu, what's with you? That really hurt." Pikachu realized what he just did and felt guilty.

"Grookey, I'm sorry. You see, I was confused, so I…" But Grookey was so angry that it didn't want to hear it.

"Save it, Pickachu. I have to beat up this Scyther." Grookey bounded towards Scyther. Pickachu looked after it, crestfallen.

"Grookey." It glared at Morgrem and ran towards it. He was now angry. "That was a rotten trick. Now you made my friend mad at me!"

"Well, it isn't my fault that you attacked your monkey friend." Morgrem explained. "You did that by yourself."

"Only because I was confused by your Swagger." Morgrem looked uninterested.

"What an excuse! Whatever you say will make you feel better I guess." Pikachu was still angry about this, but didn't argue further for he didn't see the point in it. He then began to think.

I want to end this quickly. He thought. But how? An idea hit him. Quick, that's it! He then charged towards Morgrem with Quick Attack.

"Morgrem, use Dark Pulse." Morgem got ready with Dark Pulse.

However, Pikachu dashed in circles around Morgem. Morgem looked all around, trying to aim.

"Don't keep looking around for it, Morgrem!" Its trainer shouted at it. "You'll get dizzy, and I bet that's what Pikachu wants you to do."

However, Morgrem did get dizzy. This excited Pikachu.

Yes! Pikachu then stopped and whipped Morgrem to the ground with Iron Tail, and did one final blow with Thundershock. Morgrem then fainted. Pikachu cheered to himself as the frustrated trainer returned Morgrem to its Poké Ball.

Pikachu looked all around. He smiled to himself. All of his friends have won and the bad guys were defeated. He looked at Grookey who he saw had fainted. He sighed. Well, almost everyone. He went to Grookey's side, who got up, and did a crestfallen sigh.

"I can't believe I lost." The sad monkey said to itself. "I'm such a loser."

"Cheer up, Grookey." Pikachu assured it. "You're not a loser. People and Pokémon lose every once in a while to everyone. It happens." Grookey glared at Pikachu.

"Go away, Pikachu! I'm still mad at you and always will." Pikachu sighed.

"Oh, Grookey. I'm really and truly sor…"

"Don't try to cheer me up." It then went away. Pikachu sighed. Bulbasaur, Snowy, Psyduck and the other Pokémon were all now at his side.

"What's up with Grookey?" Bulbasaur wanted to know. "What did you do to upset it?" Pikachu looked at his friends. He was about to explain when he saw Tapu Koko before them.

"Tapu Koko?" He asked. His friends looked at Tapu Koko and they all gasped.

"I don't get it." Psyduck stated. "Why all the gasps? This is just a Pokémon like us, isn't it?"

"Are you kidding me right now?!" Oshawott questioned. "This is a Legendary, not just a regular Pokémon."

"I still don't get it. But if you say so."

"I'm here to speak for all of the Legendaries and thank you for saving us from these bad humans." Pikachu smiled.

"It was no problem." There was then an explosion and they all looked and saw all of the Nightmare Members and their Pokémon blast off after Zacian, Zamazenta and other Legendary Pokémon unleashed their powers on them. They all watched in awe. "Well, anyways, this is goodbye." Pikachu and friends all bid farewell as the Legendaries all left, including Karaidon. After the goodbyes, they went to Rookadee.

"What are you going to do now?" Pikachu asked. Rookadee looked at him.

"I'm going to continue on with my life." The bird told him. "I'm going to miss Karaidon, but I'll cope and know that Karaidon will be with me wherever I go." Pikachu smiled.

"Karaidon sure will. A great friend like that never leaves you." Rookadee smiled back,

"You are so right. I know Karaidon will be with me always and Karaidon will always think of me as well." Pikachu saw Grookey run off. He quickly said goodbye and ran after the grass monkey. His other friends did too. So did Quaxly. James left on his own. He knew he probably blew his chance in getting Pikachu and the others with a bunch of Legendaries, and would get yelled at later by his teammates. But he didn't feel like it on his own, so he just let them be and left.

"Grookey!" Pikachu called out after it. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to find Goh." Grookey responded. It then realized something. "Ooh! I said Goh and going in the same sentence. That's neat somehow."

"Well, we'll help you. We'll find Goh as well as the others."

"Whatever!"

"Okay Pikachu." Piplup piped up. "What gives? Why is Grookey upset with you all of a sudden?" And so, Pikachu told them.

"Grookey will make up with you eventually." Pansage told Pikachu when the explanation was over. "It won't stay mad at you forever."
