Dromund Kaas

Jumping off the speeder as they arrived back at the Sith Sanctum, Salazar and Vette hoped that Darth Baras had no more errands for them to run today. Sneaking into a rogue Sith's mansion, slain said Sith, and killed off Baras's inside man after he insulted both of them, the two felt they had earned the rest of the night off.

Unfortunately, trouble seemed to follow Vette and Salazar wherever they went as Vette accidentally bumped into a Rattataki woman.

"My bad, sorry." Vette said, turning to the woman only to receive a blaster pistol to her face.

"Wrong move, Hutt slave." The Rattataki replied, only to feel a pistol jabbed into her stomach.

"Back off. I already apologized, so there is no need to get violent with me." Vette replied in a calm yet firm voice.

"Well maybe I'll just kill you anyways, just for the hell of it." The woman replied, a sadistic grin on her face.

That was when Vette felt the cool edge of a durasteel vibro-knife placed against her neck.

"If I were you, I would lower that blaster. Because if you don't, my hand just might slip and slice open your jugular." Another woman said in a cold, thick Imperial accent.

Just as she was about to panic, Vette was relieved to hear the ignition of a lightsaber, followed by Salazar's voice.

"Well well. It appears as if we have ourselves a Tatooine Standoff." He remarked, his purple blade millimeters away from the Imperial wielding the vibro-knife.

"Stay out of this, Sith. This problem my companion and I have with this slave doesn't concern you." The woman said.

"Oh, but I'm afraid it does. That 'slave' as you call her is my friend. And I believe she apologized for bumping into your companion who then decided to escalate the situation. So I suggest that you and your companion lower your weapons." Salazar countered.

There was no reply from the woman. The tension was high and everyone was prepared to attack at a moments notice. Finally, the Imperial let out an annoyed sigh before withdrawing her vibro-knife.

"Fine. We shall relent this time, Sith. Kaliyo, its over." She said before turning to Salazar. The woman had blue skin and red eyes, she was a member of the Chiss. She was dressed in an Imperial uniform. From rank on her chest and the sniper rifle on her back, Salazar guessed she must be a member of Imperial Intelligence and Espionage.

'No, not just any member of Sith Intelligence. If that's Kaliyo, then this must be the Imperial Agent who'll become Cipher 9.'

The agent noticed a pendant around my neck and hummed. "Interesting. A Mandalorian Sith. It shouldn't be too difficult to discover who you are in the database."

"Whatever helps you sleep better at night." Salazar replied. "Now I believe your companion owes mine an apology."

The agent turned to look at her companion. She had just holstered her pistol and was glaring daggers at the Twi'lek.

"Kaliyo." The agent said, her voice firm.

Grunting, the Rattataki sneered at Vette before mumbling a 'Sorry' sarcastically.

Deciding to take the high road rather than stoop to her level, Vette answered. "Apology accepted."

"Now that situation has been dealt with, we shall take our leave." The agent said, nodding to her partner. "Pray that we don't cross paths again, Sith."

"If we do, hopefully it'll be under better circumstances." Salazar said.

The agent did not reply but simply gives him a look that said 'we'll see' before she made her way towards Imperial Intelligence. Her Rattataki companion mouthed the word 'Bitch' to Vette before following the agent.

"Who does that woman think she is?" Vette fumed as they made their way towards the dungeons of the Sith Sanctum. "Calling me a bitch. If she would have kept that up I would have broken my foot so far up her cunt, she would never be able to have a good fuck ever again."

"My, what colorful language we have. I would never have thought such vulgar words could come out of such a beautiful woman." Salazar chuckled.

"Yeah, well..." Vette started before stopping in her tracks and turning him to face her. "I'm just full of surprises." she finished before pulling him into a passionate kiss, Salazar quickly returned the favor, his tongue gaining access to her mouth.

After a moment, they broke apart and continued on their way to Darth Baras. It wasn't difficult to tell which was his personal torture chamber.

"Argh! I cannot break him!" Baras roared.

"Ok, I am officially scared right now." Vette whispered fearfully.

"Go wait outside this room." Salazar told her.

"Okay. But hurry up with him." Vette said before stepping just outside the door.

Salazar turned back to Baras. "Is there some problem here?"

"Who would ask such a stupid question?! Clearly there's a problem here!"

Baras scoffs at the prisoner before turning to Salazar.

"This is impossible. An unknown power must be shielding this man. Which only confirms my suspicions. This Republic agent is the key to unlocking the threat we face. I must harness my rage and frustration. They will lead me to an answer."

"Trust your feelings, master." Salazar advised.

"Ha! The minion advices the master. Very good, you demonstrate your progress. And the word has spread that Lord Grathan is incensed at the slaying of his secret son. I take it that was your handiwork."

"You see it correctly." Salazar said.

"My confidence in you is growing. I haven't heard from Dri'kill Ba'al, my agent in Grathan's camp. He's missed a scheduled communication. Let me guess--he gave you trouble. Did he?"

"He gave me no trouble at all." Salazar said in a knowing tone.

"Ha! I can sense the truth behind your words, apprentice. Ba'al can be replaced. Now, back to my prisoner. There's one last possibility to break him. I thought it impossible, but perhaps there's a small chance you could pull it off. Over a millennium past, the Emperor claimed Dromund Kaas and made the Dark Temple the epicenter of dark Force energy. In the bowels of the temple, he conducted horrifying experiments that drained the knowing knowledge and life essence from all the greatest Sith Lords of the time."

"He destroyed his own lords?" Salazar raised an eyebrow.

"They existed to serve their master--and that they did. He siphoned them to make himself immortal and all-knowing. The Emperor created a device called 'the Ravager' that ate his victims's minds and delivered to him their greatest secrets. No one could withstand the Ravager's intrusion--even the strongest Sith Lords of the empire, confessed with whatever the Emperor craved."

"And you want me to retrieve the Ravager." Salazar said.

"Yes, it may be my only chance to break this Republic worm. The Emperor keeps the Ravager hidden in the Dark Temple, which has, in his absence, become a death trap. There's a good chance the horrors that await you will be too severe. But it's worth your life to me. the legends describe a secret chamber in the depths of the Dark Temple where the Ravager was encased. You'll know the device by its inscription. Be swift apprentice, dismissed."

Salazar bowed and walked away swiftly with Vette hot on his heels.

"So wait, he wants us to retrieve this device that forces people their secrets, which just so happens to be in what he called a 'death trap', just so he can finally get answers from that Republic guy strapped in his torture room?" Vette asked.

"Essentially yeah." Salazar confirmed.

"I have a strange feeling he doesn't expect us to return to him." Vette commented as they entered the main foyer of the Sith Sanctum.

Salazar chuckled before giving her a reassuring grin. "That's what he thought during the last couple suicide missions he sent us on and we have repeatedly proved him wrong. I have no doubt that we can..."

Salazar was cut off during his minor pep talk to Vette when he accidentally bumped into someone.

"My apologies. I didn't see..." Salazar began before he was silenced. A monstrous claw had grabbed him by the neck and was slowly squeezing the life out of him. Looking up, he got a good look at the creature that had him in his grasp. It was tall and grey. The head was fairly small compared to the rest of its body but no less intimidating with its beady red eyes and razor sharp teeth. It was dressed in a simple loincloth but strapped to its back was a large vibro-sword.

The creature began talking to Salazar in some strange language he couldn't understand. Vette was frantically punching and kicking the beast while Salazar desperately clawed at the hand around his neck.

"Khem! Put him down!" A voice piped up.

The creature growled in its strange tongue before releasing Salazar. He massaged his neck which would surely bruise before turning to look at his savior. Suffice to say, he was surprised to see a familiar face scolding his attacker.

"Just because something has a Force signature and breathes does not give you the right to eat them, Khem." The female Sith said.

"Irene, good to see you." Salazar chuckled before moving forward and embracing her.

"Glad to see you too, Salazar." Irene replied before they separated.

Salazar took a moment to inspect her. For the most part she was still the same. Her red hair was still drawn into a pony tail. She now had a pair of gold earrings and her face was smooth and unblemished. The major change was both her wardrobe and the weapon she carried. Instead of the slave robes she wore back on Korriban, she was now sporting a set of Shadow Disciple (minus the head piece). She was also wielding a lightsaber instead her acolyte blade.

"Looks like you made it out alive. How did that prick of an overseer take it?" Salazar asked.

Irene laughed before replying. "He was quite furious when my current master, Darth Zash, took me as her apprentice. His personal champion was killed by her."

"Did you rub it in his face?"

"Nah. I simply said 'thanks for the training' and left him flabbergasted."

Salazar shook his head in amusement. "You truly are a kinder person than I. But where are my manners? I would like to introduce you to my partner and companion and friend, Vette."

Irene looked her over before giving her a smile.

"A pleasure to meet the companion of my first friend on Korriban." Irene said with a nod.

"The pleasure is mine." The Twi'lek replied before walking over and embracing her.

"I guess I should introduce this foul beast. He goes by Khem Val. Apparently he is a Dashade that served Tulak Hord long ago and now he serves me." Irene said.

The Dashade growled at her in his foreign tongue.

"I still kicked your ass. No need to be a spoil sport." Irene replied.

"So what are you up to?" Salazar asked.

"My master tasked me with gathering some ancient artifact in the Dark Temple."

"What a coincidence." Salazar said. "So did mine. Would you like to work together?"

Irene thought for a moment before answering. "Sure. We'll get through in half the time and reduce our chances of going completely mad."

Satisfied with the arrangement, Salazar and Irene walked towards the speeder and made their way towards the Dark Temple. Irene sat in the driver's seat, Khem in the back, and Salazar sat in the passenger's seat with Vette in his lap. She was afraid of the monster and thought it best to stay with Salazar, much to Irene's amusement. Once they landed in the camp near the Temple, they noticed many of the Imperial and Sith personnel were looking anxious and pacing nervously. On the outskirts of the camp, they noticed several Imperial servicemen and Sith vigorously digging near the path leading to the Dark Temple. Something about them seemed off, as though some mysterious force was using their bodies.

"Well, we won't accomplish anything by just standing here." Salazar said before they made their way down the path.

For the most part, the walk to the Dark Temple was fairly uneventful. The men excavating off the path appeared to be possessed from the way their eyes glowed red and purple and the occasional use of Force powers. As long as the group remained on the path, they were left alone.

Alas, their relative peace came to an end when they came across a large group of the possessed. They stood in front of the entrance to the Dark Temple and numbered a dozen. Half of them appeared to be Imperial Archaeologists while the other half were Sith.

"You are not welcome here." One of the possessed said, his glowing red eyes glaring at the group. "Only the true Lords of the Sith and the Emperor are permitted into the Dark Temple."

Salazar looked at Irene and Vette with an amused smile before speaking up. "We have been given permission to enter the Dark Temple. Step aside or face the consequences."

"Liar!" The spokesman said.

"None of the Lords has given permission for one who entangles oneself with alien filth to enter our sacred temple." The spokesman pointed his finger at Vette and Khem.

Now you shall die for your insolence!" With that, the possessed archaeologists drew their pistols while the Sith ignited their lightsabers.

"And now the fun begins." Salazar said before igniting his own lightsaber and leaping towards the first Sith. Irene was quick to switch on her own red bladed lightsaber before hurling a bolt of Force Lightning at the possessed archaeologists. Vette drew her Black Nebula blasters and began shooting down the nearest Sith that was advancing on their position while Khem drew his vibro-sword and charged at the nearest attacker.

The fight was fairly one sided. Salazar hacked and slashed with his purple blade, cutting down one enemy after another. Fantastic bolts of electricity emanated from Irene's hands, connecting with a group of three possessed archaeologists. Their bodies writhed in pain before falling to the ground. Vette's expert marksmanship eliminated a good portion of the enemy while Khem cut down and, in one extreme case, ate his enemies. By the time they were done, the enemy was defeated while the group stood triumphant, lightly panting from exhaustion.

"Hopefully, that is the only resistance we will face on this little adventure." Irene said as she deactivated her lightsaber.

"Same here." Vette replied.

After catching their breath, the group entered the Dark Temple. The inside of the massive structure was decayed and gave off a malevolent air. The main hall of the Temple was fairly empty, save for a few of the poor souls that managed to enter the structure yet never made it out. They seemed even more infused with the Force than those outside the Temple. One man in slave garments was Force Choking a man that appeared to be a Sith. Off in an alcove, an Imperial Trooper had a group of possessed bowing before him.

Salazar felt a mixture of feelings. Sadness that so many had fallen to the madness and had been overcome by the spirits of this ancient tomb. Curiosity at what other potential secrets may lie in this sacred place. Finally, determination to overcome the odds and complete his task to prove Baras wrong.

After a few minutes of searching, the group came to a set of antechambers.

"It seems this is where we separate." Irene said as she gazed down the left path.

"Indeed." Salazar replied as he peered down the right.

"We'll meet back here in half an hour. If the other does not show up in the allotted time, we search for them until we are sure they are alive, dead, or insane." Salazar said.

Nodding, Irene and Khem made their way down the left path while Salazar and Vette took the right.

The path was dim, only light by torches while cobwebs were strung across the walls. It was quiet. Too quiet for Salazar's comfort but he did not question it. The sooner they acquired the Ravager, the sooner they could leave this tomb of the damned.

Finally, after navigating through the various turns of the path, the two entered a large chamber. It was sparsely decorated, only a few statues and a single stone chest decorated the room. At first glance, Salazar thought the lid of the chest had two angels on both the left and right side, their wings pointed towards he center. Upon closer inspection, he saw that they were actually skeletal figures bowing towards the middle.

He made a cautionary inspection of the chamber before returning to the chest and lifting the lid off with the Force. Inside, there was sand or possibly the deteriorated remains of what was once contained in the chest. He carefully ran his fingers through the fine particles until they bumped into a solid object. Digging deeper, he pulled out what appeared to be an ornament of some kind, meant to be worn on one's forehead. It was gold with strange inscriptions scrawled on it. The power it emanated was dark and menacing.

"Well, that appears to be what we are looking for." Vette said.

Salazar nodded in agreement as he pocketed the artifact. Turning, they made their way out of the chamber and back the way they came. It wasn't until the last curve in the path that they came across opposition. A group of four slaves armed with vibroblades stood in their way. From the glow in their eyes and the unnatural Force signature emanating from them, Salazar knew they were possessed.

"Hand over the artifact, or face the wrath of Lord Vacuus. The conqueror of Begeren. The killer of Garatak the Singed. Return what you have stolen or burn!" The leader spoke up.

Salazar chuckled. "You don't look like a Sith to me."

"Perhaps your vision will improve in death!" The leader growled.

"Yeah no thanks, my vision's quite fine." Salazar said before Force Leaping and quickly decapitating the group. As soon as the bodies hit the floor seconds after their heads, the two continued on their way. Once they exited the path, they were greeted by a grinning Irene and an impatient looking Dashade.

"We were wondering what was taking you two so long." Irene said as they made their way out of the Temple.

"Sorry. Ran into the locals." Salazar said nonchalantly. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Yep. We also had a bonus of meeting a Sith Force Ghost whom I am apparently related to. He told me I was supposed to bring honor back to his name and become some all powerful Sith."

"Lucky." Vette said. "All we found was our artifact and some possessed slaves."

The group, minus Khem, laughed before exiting the Dark Temple. On the return trip to the Sith Sanctum, they talked about their various misadventures both on Korriban and on Dromund Kaas. For the half hour it took them to fly back to the Sanctum, the group didn't feel like underlings to powerful Lords of the Sith. They felt a sense of freedom, as though this ride was simply a leisurely tour of the planet instead of a mission.

Alas, their trip came to an end and they exited the speeder. Once they entered the main foyer of the Sith Sanctum, the two groups said their farewells.

"Be sure to keep in touch. I doubt we will keep meeting up like this." Irene said as she first brought Salazar into an embrace before doing the same for Vette.

"We will. Just make sure Khem doesn't try to eat us next time." Salazar replied. This brought a laugh from the three and some curses from the Dashade before the separated.

Darth Baras's Chambers

When they entered the dungeon, it was almost exactly as they had previously left it. The prisoner was barely holding onto life.

"When I sent you into the Dark Temple for the Ravager, I thought it might be the last time I saw you, apprentice. The prisoner grows weaker by the minute. There's no time to spare. Stand back and bear witness."

Salazar hands Baras the Ravager, then backs up a bit while Baras walks up to the prisoner.

"You're wasting... your time. I... will... not... ahh!" The prisoner rasped, still unrelenting until the Ravager was affixed onto his forehead.

"Yes. The Ravager has seized his mind. Excellent! In his condition, we don't have long before the ordeal liquefies all brain matter."

Salazar raised a brow. "Maybe he'll last longer if you reduce the pain?"

"No. The pain drives the device's effectiveness." Baras replied offhandedly before turning his full attention to his prisoner.

"Republic worm, you have the information I desire. Tell me everything."

The prisoner continued to jerk and writhe as he started spilling everything.

"I am… Republic… Information Service… on special assignment to verify… possible Imperial spy… on Nar Shaddaa. Commissioned by… Jedi Council… acting on suspicions provided by… Master Nomen Karr…"

Baras growled. "Nomen Karr. That's a name I grow tired of hearing."

"One of your enemies, I take it?" Salazar asked.

"My oldest and most hated enemy. An old wound that continues to fester. Nomen Karr is a Jedi Master who infiltrated the Sith. I rooted him out, then he nearly destroyed me and fled. He's dedicated himself to proving that the Sith have spies embedded within Republic and Jedi ranks. I've thwarted him at every turn. But he is tenacious."

Baras turned to the prisoner. "How did Nomen Karr come to suspect my spy on Nar Shaddaa. Tell me, Republic wretch--what alerted him?"

"Master Nomen Karr has... a new... Padawan. She seems to... know any being's... true nature. She senses... hidden darkness... and... untapped purity..."

"Astonishing. I've never heard of the Force granting such a gift. Tell me, how does her power work?"

"All I... all I know is... when Master Noman Karr brought her to Nar Shaddaa... this Padawan sensed... darkness in your spy... simply by... seeing him."

"If this young Padawan can see through deception and disguise with such little effort, she threatens everything I have worked for. Continue, Republic dog."

"Karr... believes his Padawan's... ability... is foolproof... but the Jedi Council is... skeptical. I was... to provide the proof... but... I wasn't... able... to report my findings..."

"We must know more about this Padawan." Salazar said.

"Yes, my apprentice. Such a threat must not wander the galaxy unchecked. Baras agreed.

"Who is this Padawan, you Republic pest? Tell me everything you know about her!"

The poor man was gurgling now. Mouth frothing with blood. Vette couldn't stand to look anymore and turned away in disgust.

"She was found… on Alderaan…! Her power… first emerged… training on… Tatooine. And… the Jedi sent another… agent… to investigate someone she suspected on Balmorra…."

"He's fading! Is she human or one of the Jedi's cursed aliens? Where can I find her? What is her name?!" Baras exclaimed.

"I… have… nothing… no… thing… mo… mo--argh!" The agent said as he expired with his liquified brains oozing out of all of his orifices.

"The Ravager has emptied his mind. That is all we have to go on, a few random places within the greater galaxy where Normen Karr and his Padawan have been."

"It's a start, master. That device did the trick." Salazar said.

"You are correct. We now have leads to follow." Baras beckoned Salazar into his office.

"Nomen Karr is a relentless crusader, and this Padawan and her unprecedented power threaten everything I have achieved. Your duties are likely to take you to the far reaches of the galaxy. I will need to deploy you at will. You shall have a starship of your own. You've earned it. Go to my personal hanger in the spaceport and claim it.

Salazar beamed with pride and bowed respectfully. "Thank you, master. I'll use it to its utmost of capabilities."

"I must ponder our next move. Waste no time. Get your starship in my hangar and wait for further instructions."

With that, the two quietly backed out of the cell and made their way towards the main foyer of the Sanctum.Suddenly, Salazar's comlink started beeping.

Salazar activated his receiver. When the image of a woman appeared he immediately knew who it was.

"Mother?!" Salazar exclaimed.

"Salazar, it's good to see you." The woman beamed.

"Come to my penthouse here in Kaas City, I have something your father wanted to give you before he died."

"I see, I'm on my way. And I'm bringing a guest, hope that's ok?"

"Of course dear, since it's getting late I'll prepare one of the guest rooms."

After the comlink disconnected Salazar turns to Vette. "Ready to meet my mother of your Sith friend?"

"Sure." Vette smiled before he directed her to the nearest speeder rental. As soon as they got comfortable, he was driving them towards an elegant looking penthouse on the top floor of one of the many skyscrapers in Kaas City. After parking on the landing pad, they walked towards the main entrance to the penthouse.

"Nervous?" Salazar asked after he knocked on the front door.

"A little." Vette replied.

"Don't worry." He chuckled. "I know she'll like you."

As soon as the words escaped Salazar's mouth, the front door opened, revealing the woman they had come to see.

She had shoulder length black hair, her skin tone was the same as her son's, the only difference was that she was half a head shorter than her son and her blue eyes. This was Artemis Vizsla, she was dressed in only a pair of black pants and a short sleeved shirt.

"Salazar!" The woman exclaimed, a smile breaking across her face. She pulled her son into a loving embrace before kissing him on the forehead. "How are you, my darling boy?"

"I'm fine mother." Salazar replied before kissing her on the forehead. "Training was difficult but I managed to survive. Along the way, I've made a new friend."

The woman disentangled herself from her son before walking towards a nervous looking Vette.

"Come child, I won't bite." Artemis said in a soothing tone and giving her a reassuring smile.

"Sorry. I just hope I make a good first impression." Vette replied.

"Mother, this is Vette, a companion I made at the Sith Academy." Salazar said.

"And Vette, this is my mother, Artemis Vizsla. The greatest hunter I know."

"Oh stop, Salazar." Artemis blushed at her son's compliment.

Artemis stepped in front of Vette and pulled her into a loving embrace.

"A pleasure to meet you. I am Artemis Vizsla. A member of clan Vizsla, and mother of a wonderful yet troublesome boy. But you can call me Artemis."

Vette was a little stunned by the sign of affection but soon returned it.

"I'm Vette. A thief, a treasure hunter, and your son's first friend when he came to Korriban." Vette replied as the two separated.

"Good. Now that the formal greetings are out of the way, why don't you two step inside." Artemis said before turning and entering the penthouse.

The penthouse was simple yet luxurious. The living room had a large, black and yellow couch and a love seat facing a screen that projected the various entertainment programs Dromund Kaas had to offer. Along the walls were the heads of different types of dangerous beasts that were no doubt hunted by Artemis and Salazar. Vette can even tell that some of them aren't even native to Dromund Kaas. The kitchen had a small dining table with a miniature Holo Comm in the center, a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry, and a wine rack filed with some of the finest selections this side of the galaxy.

"Its not much." Artemis said, noting the surprised look on Vette's face. "But it's home."

They sat down at the table as Artemis poured them each a glass of Corellian Merlot.

"Salazar, would you kindly brush my hair? You loved to do it when you were younger." His mother asked after finishing her first glass.

Giving her a warm smile, Salazar took the offered brush, sat behind her, and began to brush her hair.

"So tell me, Vette, how did you happen to meet my son?" Artemis asked, pouring herself another glass.

So Vette went on to explain how she was captured in the tombs, thrown in the academy prison, and tortured by the jailer before Salazar came during his interrogation. Artemis couldn't help but chuckle at her son's initial flirting with the girl while simultaneously glowing with pride at his decisions.

When she heard of their trip to recover the ancient lightsaber, she asked her son. "Could you show me the blade please?"

Salazar reached for his lightsaber and ignited it, showing his mother the purple blade.

"I'm guessing that color isn't standard for most ancient Sith lightsabers?" Artemis asked.

"It was originally red but Vette won me a new and enhanced colored crystal after we left Korriban." Salazar replied.

Artemis giggled before he deactivating the lightsaber. "Then shouldn't you figure out how to repay your friend for the wonderful gift?"

Salazar sighed while Vette joined in on the laughter.

"Fiiine. Vette, next time we go out to eat I'll pay." Salazar said.

"Sounds good." Vette beamed.

"Any other exciting adventures you would like to tell me about?" Artemis asked.

The two explained to her how they were forced to either capture or kill a defector who later died to his wounds, how Salazar made more friends with fellow Sith as well as a bounty hunter who was on his way to compete in the Great Hunt.

By the time they were done with their tales it was full on night time.

"Vette, I already prepared a guest room for you, it's the first door on the right side of the hallway." Artemis said.

While Vette went to her room, Salazar turned to his mother. "You said father left me something he wanted me to have?"

"Yes. But not just him, follow me."

The two went to the master bedroom, Artemis goes to a large chest. Opening it she revealed to Salazar that it was a full set of Pure Beskar Armor (minus the helmet.)

Salazar was shocked. "No. Way."

"Yes way." His mother smiled. "This is my gift to you."

Artemis then pressed a secret button on the chest, revealing a mask. It was misty grey with four closed eyes, no other distinct markings (Hannya Mask).

Artemis presented the mask to her son. "This mask was your father's."

Salazar placed the mask on his face, immediately the eyes of the mask opened. The scleras were black but the irises were bright green.

"Your father said the mask has multiple functions, but he never explained to me how though." Artemis said.

Salazar was looking around the room, switching between night, x-ray, thermal, and ultraviolet vision.

Salazar takes the mask off, resulting the eyes to close again.

"Thanks mom, I'll promise to use these gifts wisely and with honor."

"Anything for you, my little hunter." Artemis smiles.

"Now off to bed. From what my contacts say you have a new starship to claim and a mission to complete, don't know the details and I don't care. Just be careful, ok?"

Her son chuckled. "Yes ma'am."

End

Guest 1: You asked for a harem list for Sal? Officially he'll have nine lovers, two as his main wives while the other seven are his mistresses. Sure he'll bed a few more but nothing major. And don't worry about the Republic Heros, I've got plans for them that don't involve them dying.

Women Salazar had slept with so far: Malora, Phyne

Empresses of Light and Dark: ?,?

Mistresses of Sin: ?,?,?,?,?,?,?

Guest 2: I understand that criticism is fine, so long as it's productive, there's no need for rude comments like that.
