Chapter 12
Here we pick up where we left off just before the tel-conference between Bee and Arcee began. Thank you all for reading the story. The last chapter was small but this one will be bigger! And a chalk a block full of surprises. Please leave a review if you like. I love hearing from you all from time to time. I'm sorry it took me so long to upload a new chapter. My husband's father passed away last month and it's been hard. He been ill for some time and at least he is no longer in pain and is in peace in God's hands.

LASTLY BEFORE I GET STARTED WITH THE CHAPTER, ALTHOUGH I HAVE LOVED YOUR VERY KIND REVIEWS AND HOW MUCH THE STORY HAS AFFECTED YOU I'M NOT INTERESTED AT THIS TIME TO GET TOGETHER ON DRAWINGS. I SEE AS A PERSON WHO DRAWS FOR A LIVING CAN SEE A GREAT STORY THAT WOULD BE BETTER ENHANCED WITH DRAWINGS AND I'M GLAD THIS STORY IS THAT TO ALL OF YOU. Also, I want to note that the bots I missed writing about concerning their check up with Ratchet on the day they arrived; I'll talk about in upcoming chapters.

The command center is located in the main hanger which is the second to the largest hanger on the island. It was modified when the bots were sent here to stay and work closely with Lennox and his team to weed out the rest of the Decepticons. The hanger is the size of a whole city block wide and two city blocks long. It held an area towards the back for the bots to storage gear, sleep and a sealed weapons room. Now it is where the chapel is located and the bots have their own hangers for their living quarters, gear and a sealed vault for their weapons. Just then an alarm sounded off alerting the human soldiers located at a desk at the top of the catwalk that an incoming call is coming from Bee. The screen came on and Arcee for the first time in eons saw Bee standing in what appears to be a large building. Sam had the building built to accommodate for Bee. Bee has a super large Tv screen complete with every satellite channel known to man. Bee loves sports of any kind and he is able to split the screen to see eight different channels at the same time. (okay I got off on talking about Bee's new home, now back to the call)
"Arcee?" Bee asked then she said, "yes Bee it's me. Me and several others landed here a few days ago." Bee said back, "oh wow no one told me or I would have begged to call sooner. Who all came?" Bee had asked, then a moment later a list of names came up on the screen. Bee shouted out, "Alright! That's good news and Optimus you were right that's why your name means optimist." Arcee gazed at Optimus then back at the screen then she told Bee, "I was relieved to know that you survived the war but, you must be bored there by yourself." Arcee said. That's when Bee told her no that he had access to every known satellite channel to watch. They have the same access here at the base too. Bee then asked, "how did you land there without the world knowing?" Then Arcee couldn't help her self as she busted out laughing at him because some how he forgot about the Ark. Bee was standing there with his head slightly cocked to the right. A trait he has had all his life to which sent Optimus into a fit of giggles then she told Bee, "we made it here in the Ark don't you remember that it has a cloaking device system." Bee looked back at her and chuckled to himself then he replied, "yes I do." Then Bee said, "right, then maybe you can come pick me up or better yet you stay here with me, there is plenty of room." Bee understood weather he like it or not he was just grateful that the US government allowed him to stay with Sam and allowed him to make contact with Optimus and the others twice a month.
(story note the cloaking device system, That was a program that Sential Prime started developing for the ship some 150 cycles before he was killed and then Orion Pax became Optimus Prime.)
Bee went on talking to Arcee about California and about his adapted family. Arcee was intrigued as she stood there listening. She thought to herself, if Wheeljack can make that chip and we can learn how to use the holoform and maybe leave this island for a new life then her and Bee could be together forever again. Optimus has known 5 thousand eons even before they left Cybertron that Bee and Arcee have been very close friends since Electron high school. Optimus felt bad he couldn't let them reunite like he is now with Elita one and enjoy the same pure joy of being together again. Arcee was happy that she finally made it here and that Bee was alive and well. She saw in Optimus's optics that he too wished they could be together now but, she had to accept that might not be for awhile longer. No bot was allowed to leave the base and them arriving here was only because the Ark had a cloaking device system that shielded them from being seen landing here on earth. A few seconds later Optimus moved closer to Sgt Stout and whispered to him, "if it's okay with you three, let's leave and let these two talk alone." Stout answered, "yes sir" then Sgt. Stout turned and waved at the others and then he pointed toward the door. So, they got up and started walking down the steps to leave and Optimus then said, "the others and I are leaving so you two can finish talking alone." Then Optimus made his way out. Optimus had transformed and upon exiting the hanger he then drove over to the side of the hanger and parked his truck, turn his engine off and continued his bible study for the day. He has a bible and then he has a large PDF file of the bible. Optimus deep down does believe that the transforming control circuit called Vetricanon could be a game changer for them. And while he was waiting for Arcee to come out of the hanger, he prayed to God that if it be he's will that Wheeljack can successfully create that Vitricanon chip; then it could pave the way so that the humans will never see them as a threat because of their new size. Now, Optimus in the back of his mind couldn't help but think that they will be pretending to be something there are not. But, the personality of this holoform will be them. So, the only thing they are pretending to be is the size of a normal human being. They will have plenty of time to learn how to use it with their interaction with Lennox and his team.
Okay back to the conversation between Arcee and Bee
Arcee had told Bee about the conditions on the Ark for the last 75 cycles of searching all over some 475 thousand other galaxy's while running from the Decepticons. Bee stood there listening then he promised her that he will find away for them to be reunited and live together there in California. Bee also talked about life here in California then a few minutes later the one minute warning came on and moments later Sgt. Stout and the three others came in and where walking back up the steps to their work stations. Bee said, "I'll will see if I can call you back next week at the same time, love you Arcee." Seconds before the call ended Arcee told Bee, "I love you more." then that was the end of the call as the screen went blank. Arcee before she left walked towards the catwalk platform and told Sgt. Stout, "thank you sir for allowing me and Bee to talk in private." Sgt. Stout nodded his head and said back to her "yes ma'am I was glad you could."
Arcee has injures that is going to require surgery and a few weeks to heal then she will have therapy sessions to learn how to use her left hand again. Ratchet has been busy fabricating new parts for just about every one of the new arrivals and several will need surgery. Especially Kup, he rides in a small electric chair because, he needs 58 censors replaced up and down his spine so he can walk again. Wheeljack knows how to make them but, he has been so busy learning how the Vitricanon chip works and making one for himself.
Arcee walked out of the hanger to see Optimus parked over by the side. As she was walking over towards him, Optimus transformed and stood up. Then Arcee said to him, "do you think that Wheeljack can create this chip so we can use it to look like humans and live and work among them and they not know who we really are?" Optimus sighed for a moment then he said, "that's just it, I didn't want us to pretend to be them but, we will have our own personalty and we will learn how to use the holoform here first while interacting with Lennox and his team." Arcee then asked Optimus, "how would Bee get one if it works out. Optimus told her, "he will get one." Acree trusted what Optimus said about them some day going to be reunited because, before he became Prime and now he has been a father figure she never had and she trust him.
Back at Wheeljack's lab
Wheeljack has completed writing the codes for the chip. He has created his own character how he will look. The holoform will have his own personality because the only differences is that instead of being 30 feet tall he will look like an old gray hair scientists about 6 feet and 4 inches tall with a slight limp and his name will be Thomas Robertson. (big spoiler note here, later on in the story the government gives them a references so that they can use it to get a job.) Now he will need Ratchet to safely install the chip at the base of his skull on the back of his head and connect the two lead wires from the chip one to his main transform cog chip that is located at the top of his chest and the other wire to his power source(spark in his chest) and this will have to be done under general sedation. With it connected to the main controller transform cog chip then only in vehicle mode can he can shape shift some of his matter and then exit the vehicle resembling a solid human figure. Wheeljack took the chip and placed it in a small seal-able static free bag and placed it on the right side of his work bench. He then texted Optimus and Ratchet to let them know he will be testing it later this afternoon and he reported to Ratchet that he is now working on those censors for Kup.
Ratchet was working in his office on reports and Kup came riding in his electric chair. "Ratchet, I just heard that Wheeljack has successfully completed the creation of that new chip. What do we do now, I mean this is all so new to me and I'm still trying to understand the humans. I have never came across a so sophisticated life form." Ratchet looked up and said, "Yes, they are but we are too. We and the humans have so much in common it just right now they don't know that." Kup sat there thinking for a moment then it made better sense to him. "Your right Ratchet now thinking about it oh by the way now that Wheeljack has completed making that chip is he now working on those censors?" Ratchet told Kup that twenty minutes before he came here he received a report from Wheeljack and that he now is working on your censors then he has a week left to complete other electrical circuits and 8 small boards replacements that Ratchet needs for other bots that are facing surgery. Kup left after Ratchet gave him a note pad that some national geographic shows on it about North America and some other interesting Tv shows about the Appalachian mountains called by locals the great smokey mountains.
Okay, I have to stop here and I'll start writing chapter 13. Next chapter will talk about the new arrivals and how they are doing.
