A/N: This is my second Warnette oneshot, I love this series sooo much and cannot wait to read Watch Me, I think it'll be epic! I hope Juliette and Warner will have a big supporting role in the new book. This oneshot will have a few short flashbacks and takes place after the entire series has ended.
This is the Warnette oneshot I promised you Angels last night. I hope you enjoy it.
Juliette
I wake up to a kiss being pressed to my lips. This has been one of my many wakeup calls over the last five years, since we got married. My eyes open and land on my husband who is holding a breakfast tray that has pancakes with strawberries, whipped cream, a cup of coffee and a single light pink rose in a thin vase.
"Good morning, love." My husband says as I sit up, the covers pooling at my waist. I smile at him as he places the tray over my lap and takes a seat at my feet.
"You didn't have to do this." I say, indicating at the tray, Warner just shakes his head. "Of course I did, it's our anniversary." Is all he says as he picks a strawberry off my pancakes.
Damn it, I forgot about our wedding anniversary. How could I have forgotten about the day I married the love of my life?!
I've been married to Aaron Warner Anderson for six years.
"You know what this reminds me of?" I suddenly ask when the memory comes back to me. Warner is looking at me, his head tilted as he waits for me to tell him.
"The day after our wedding, you brought me breakfast in bed." I tell him as the memory overtakes me.
FLASHBACK
It's the creak of a door that rouses me from my light slumber and then it's the padding of familiar footsteps that really wake me up. I see my husband carrying a breakfast tray that is flowing with pancakes, waffles, fruits, coffee, juice and a single red rose in a vase.
"Sorry, love, I didn't mean to wake you up." He says, putting the tray on the little nightstand beside the bed. He kisses me on the lips, his hands cupping my face gently.
"Good morning, my handsome husband." I say with a smile into the kiss. Warner smiles back as he pulls away from me and puts the plate across my lap.
"Good morning, my darling wife." He says, taking one of my hands and kissing my knuckles, his eyes focused on my face.
In his irises I see nothing but love, love for me, shining in them.
I come out of the flashback to a kiss being placed on my knuckles. I look at my husband and see the love that was in his eyes the morning after our wedding six years ago, is still there, only it's stronger. His love for me, and my love for him, grows every year.
I can't wait to spend the rest of my life showing my husband how much I love him.
Warner
I kiss my wife on her temple just as she drifts off to sleep, her face tucked into my collarbone and her hands gripping the fabric of my t-shirt, the way she's slept for the last six years to ensure she won't lose me and I don't go and work while she's asleep.
"Don't worry, love, I'm not going anywhere, I promised remember?" I whisper to her.
A month or so after our wedding, she woke up when I was working in our office and had a panic attack. That was the first and only time in our six year marriage that she's slapped me. She made me promise that I wouldn't do any work after she fell asleep unless it was urgent and needed doing.
FLASHBACK
I rub at my cheek, trying to rub the heat that radiates thanks to my wife's hard hand.
I kiss my wife's temple. "I'm sorry, love." I say, I feel awful for making her panic like that. "You scared me, Aaron. I thought I had lost you again." She says. I sigh, the awfulness increasing tenfold as I curse my father for erasing both of our memories.
"Hey, you've not lost me, I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here, Ella," I say. I'm the only one who calls her 'Ella' and only when we're in private. She nearly killed Kenji when he called her Ella.
"I love you, Aaron, so much. It would kill me if I lost you once more." My wife says, tucking her head into my collarbone and her fingers gripping the fabric of my t-shirt.
"I love you too, Juliette Ferrars, and you're not going to lose me, I promise." I whisper.
I would burn the entire world down to find her if I had to, because no one hurts my wife and lives to tell the tale.
"I love you, Ella. I will love you for the rest of my life. My heart is yours. Please don't ever give it back to me. Happy anniversary, my love." I whisper to my wife.
Juliette Ferrars, Ella Sommers, has held my heart the palm of her hands for years, even when she didn't know me, even when we both had our memories wiped by my father.
She's had my heart and I don't ever want it back.
A\N: I don't know what the hell Warner's POV is but I'm too tired to figure it out and edit it so it makes sense. I know it's a mess but I'm too tired to clean it up, I might do it tomorrow but no promises, I'll try to have another Warnette oneshot out by tomorrow, I apologise for the mistakes.
Have a good night, Angels.
