Session 4 of the "Shadows of the City" campaign

GM: So how was today's session?

Bishop Player: It was fine but I do have some concerns.

GM: Oh what concerns?

Bishop Player: Welllll it's-

Samuel Player: It's about the DMnpc.

GM: oh What about her.

Mira Player: Shes totally over powered!

GM: Shes not that bad.

Samuel Player: Not that bad. She killed half the animals herself. Took multiple actions each turn and soloed the big boss animal when he showed up.

GM: Well the dice were just hot when I threw for her.

Hakase Player: Actually by how the rules are written most of that stuff should be impossible.

Bishop Player: Guys guys lets not gang up on him for one mistake.

Samuel Player: Sorry

Hakase Player: Sorry

GM: Thanks

Bishop Player: Now with that said it's not nice be a player and have some op npc come and over shadow you. You're already the GM you dont need to start putting in your own OCs to steal the limelight.

Hakase Player: It's not an OC it's a copy of the Major from Ghost in the Shell.

GM: It's a completely original character!

Samuel Player: Dude you showed us her picture that's the Major they even have the same name.

Bishop Player: Calm down. Look it's not like you need to be super original with your characters. I know the only character with any originality is Mira. The problem is that you made us feel superfluous to the story.

Hakase Player: Hey I put a lot of work in my character!

Samuel Player: Yeah in how to min max the shit out of him.

Hakase Player: Oh fuck off

Mira Player: Dude whats up with these stats?

GM: Wh- where did you get Mokotos stat sheet?

Mira Player: It was on the table. but seriously this character has better stats then we do.

GM: Give that back!

Hakase Player: Look at that perk list how much exp would we even need to get half that stuff. She even has stuff from Solo, Netrunner, and Rockerboy.

GM: Hey stop looking at it!

Samuel Player: Seriously why does her inventory include Bartmosses cyberdeck?

GM: She found it in the garbage.

Bishop Player: OK STOP! Give back the sheet. Look if you want an op character that steals the show write a book. Your game has been good up until now so I would hate to lose you. Now everyone apologize.

Mira Player: Sorry

Samuel Player: Sorry

Hakase Player: Sorry

GM: Sorry and I wont include Mokoto any more.

Bishop Player: Good and I'm sorry for raising my voice. But seriously if you want to include a DMnpc that's fine but don't make her super op. If you want I can help you create one.

GM: Thanks and I'll take you up on that offer.
