I actually want to play into a scene with that. A music company thinking Motoko's merc work is some marketing plot, thinking she's being carried along by the rest of her more skilled mercs. (Yes everyone thinks Ichi and Malcolm are the real mercs.) And kidnap Motoko que, straight up Alien tier disappearing of all their soldiers.

Motoko and Hiromi meet up with a rival to the record exec they talked to when selling Tank! They want to be the rights to her debut set she performed a few weeks ago. Said exec manages to successfully take Hiromi hostage, his rapidly dying security forces driving Motoko into the building's service ways and tunnels.

~6 Hours Later~

The burning remains of Capital Records: NC light up the night. The midrise building now having more in common with a Guy Fawkes days effigy than a useful place to live or work. Motoko and Hiromi sit in her Quadra, cuddled up in the back seat, just watching the fires rise.

"I would think that the building's fire system would have activated by now."
"Won't. Hacked the building control system, AC vents are actively fueling the flames, and some work with the boost pumps and valves blew the mains in the basement. This building will burn until nothing useful is left."
"Ahh, good riddance."
